Jeffree Star Cosmetics haul

I have a Jeffree Star Cosmetics haul to share with you today. I purchased these items when the Orgy collection launched, so I’ve had them for a while now, and I’ve used most of them.

I decided not get the Orgy palette and only get the Mini Orgy palette. As a colourful make-up lover this collection didn’t really speak to me, and I’m not a fan of the concept of doing an all matte palette and an all glitter/metallic palette, but I do love a good glittery/metallic eyeshadow, hence why I picked up the Mini Orgy palette. I’ve only used this palette once so far, and I was actually a little disappointed. I used the top row, and the only nice shade was Champagne Drip. The others lack pigmentation. Hopefully the rest of the shades are better.

The other product I purchased from the Orgy collection is the Magic Star luminous setting powder in Translucent. I also purchased the original Magic Star setting powder in Fair, which I’ve been loving so much (I featured it in my 5 favourites post from September). I’ve only used the luminous setting powder once or twice so far, and I’m not quite sure how to use it properly yet.

I’ve also bought another Velour liquid lipstick from the Shane Dawson collaboration collection. This is a hot pink called Jeffree, What the Fuck?.

And last, but not least, I’ve purchased one of the hand mirrors. I chose the glittery purple one, since I love glitter and purple is my favourite colour, and I’ve done my make-up in this mirror pretty much every day since I received it. It’s very lightweight, and the quality is very nice.

Big collective clothing and accessories haul

I’ve been doing quite a bit of shopping lately (as per usual), and I’ve collected items from different brands and thought I would put them all in this one big collective haul. So here goes.

Let’s start with Monki and corduroy trousers. I’ve purchased three new pairs of corduroy trousers, all from Monki. I first bought the dark green pair, because I thought they would be perfect for autumn (and also for December paired with Christmas jumpers!). It didn’t take me many days before I ordered the purple ones too. I’ve been wanting a pair of purple corduroy trousers for quite a while, and these are perfect. I’m actually wearing them right now:) And the last pair of corduroy trousers I’ve purchased is a pair of dark yellow/orangy ones that I found on sale. They’re very autumnal too.

I also purchased this roll neck top from Monki. I just loved the print and colours, and I actually think it would look great paired with all three pairs of corduroy trousers.

The last item from Monki is this argyle sweater vest. Sweater vests are a huge trend right now, and I’m all aboard with this trend.

And now on to H&M and three long sleeve tops. You know that I can’t resist clothing with Disney print, and the navy and cream stripy top with the little embroidered Mickey Mouse is just so cute. The black and white striped fitted roll neck top is a great stable in any autumn/winter wardrobe, and the black and white houndstooth printed roll neck top is also great for colder weather.

I’ve also bought three pairs of earrings from H&M. The rainbow pair just screamed my name: I mean, just look how fun they are! And my obsession with purple is continuously growing, so I added two different pairs of purple hoops to my ever growing earring collection.

I have three pieces left to show you. First off is another argyle sweater vest. This one is from a brand called Soyaconcept. I found it very randomly on sale, and it was too good to leave behind.

The last two items are both Disney-related. This Mulan T-shirt is from PULL&BEAR, and I obviously love the print and also the warm colours of the print.

And last, but certainly not least, I’ve purchased the cutest Mickey and Minnie Mouse sneakers from Bershka. As you can see Minnie is on the right shoe with the yellow detail, but Mickey is on the left shoe with the green detail. How cute is that!

5 favourites – September

September was a really tough month. I was ill in the beginning of the month, and work has been and still is very busy. And the fact that we still have to deal with Covid19 all the time doesn’t makes things easier; on the contrary it makes it a lot harder to go about your daily life. I’ll soon have a week off which I’m very much looking forward to; I really need a break. But it’s not all bad; the fact that December is only two months away now gets me in a better mood. I’ve also discovered some new favourites this month, so let’s talk about those.

Wide leg jeans: I’ve loved wearing these wide leg high waist jeans from H&M lately. They’re so comfortable and has a bit of a ’70s vibe to them, which I obviously love.

Rainbow striped Converse sneakers: Apparently, I’ve been really into comfortable clothes this month; oversized clothes and sneakers. I haven’t had a pair of Converse All Stars in quite a while, but this rainbow striped version stole my heart, and I’ve loved wearing them.

Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde eyeshadow palette: This palette is simply stunning. I really enjoy the Huda Beauty eyeshadows and the shades in this palette are so beautiful, and I’ve loved every look I’ve created with it so far.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Magic Star setting powder (shade: Fair): I haven’t even hauled this yet, but I’ve used is so much that I had to feature it in this post. I wasn’t into loose powders until I gave the RCMA No-Color powder another go, and now I love this one too. I think I love this one even more. It keeps you make up in place all day, and it looks great on the skin.

The Incredibles 2 (film): This film stole a spot on my 5 favourites list just last night. I can’t believe it took me so long to watch this, but it was worth the wait. I really like the first film, but I might like the second one even better. That doesn’t happen with Disney sequels very often.

MAC summer sale + Teyana Taylor lipsticks

I picked up a few things in the MAC summer sale, and I thought I would share them with you. I picked up two of the Fix+ Vibes; Balance and Passion. I also picked two brushes; I decided to get the beautiful 494SES precision blush brush from the Masterpiece Mosaic collection and also the 228S mini shader brush. I love the Strobe Face Glaze from the Bronzing collection, so I purchased a back up of the shade Let’s Make Waves. Lastly, I got three lipsticks:

See Sheer (lustre) from the Petal Power collection,

Ambersand (matte) from the Masterpiece Mosaic collection,

and Men Love Mystery (matte).

Recently, I also purchased two of the lipsticks from the Teyana Taylor collection (these were not on sale). I got the shades Junie Bee (frost) and A Rose In Harlem (matte). I bought these two lipsticks on Asos.

Asos shoes and accessories haul

I have little Asos shoes and accessories haul to share with you today. If I don’t mention the brand of an item, then it’s from Asos’ own brand.

I first saw these colourful loafers on Megan Ellaby, and I knew I had to have them. There’s an Elton John vibe to them, I think, and I’m not mad about that.

These might be the perfect autumn shoes. I love the brown suede and the chunky heel. They’ll be perfect for ’70s inspired outfits.

How cute are these pink gingham heels. I’m really excited to style these.

These purple mules from Public Desire are in the same style as these aqua-blue ones, and I really like both pairs. I really want them in brown and in pink as well.

I haven’t had a pair of Converse All Stars in quite a while, but I fell in love with these rainbow striped ones, and I’ve already worn them quite a bit.

Apparently, I have a thing for pearl bags, and I just couldn’t resist this purple and white one from Skinnydip.

As a lipstick wearer, this little pink lipstick holder was hard to pass on.

Another item with Elton John vibes. These sunglasses are from a brand called SVNX and I love the shape and all the rhinestones.

The last item in this haul is this little golden bracelet with a multicoloured rhinestone shell pendant, which I just thought was really cute and dainty.

Collective beauty haul: high end and drugstore

I have a collective beauty haul to share with you. It’s a mix of high end and drugstore products.

Let’s start with the most exciting product; the Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde eyeshadow palette. I’ve been wanting this palette since the beginning of the year, and I’m so happy that it’s finally mine. I love Huda Beauty eyeshadows, and these colours are absolutely stunning.

Next up is another palette, but this one is at the opposite end of the price spectrum. I’ve never tried anything from J-Cat Beauty before, but I was intrigued by this pocket size palette. It’s called the J-Cat X-Treme Access Pocket Shadow in Pops of Paparazzi, and as you can see it has a bunch of fun, bright colours. I haven’t tried this palette yet, but I’m excited to give it a go.

And now on to a couple of Fenty Beauty lip products. I’ve only heard good things about the Gloss Bombs, so I purchased a set of two to try them out, and I really like them. The shades are $weet mouth + Fenty glow. I also purchased the new shade of the Stunna Lip paints. I haven’t tried this product out yet, but I thought the shade Underdawg was beautiful. A perfect autumn/winter shade.

I love MAC Fix+ and use it everyday, and I love trying out new scents. I’ve never tried the watermelon scent before, so I had to buy this set of a full size Fix+ Watermelon and a mini regular Fix+.

I’ve also purchased a few things from Wet n Wild. I’ve been wanting to try out the Hello Halo blushlighter for a while, so I got the shade Highlight Bling, which is the lightest one. I’ve also purchased a few more brushes from Wet n Wild. They’re really nice for the affordable price.

And last but not least, I decided to get these three items from the Essence Wanna Bee My Honey? collection. I got the two brushes; and eyeshadow brush and a highlight brush. I also picked up the luminizing primer in 01 You’re Bee-autiful!. How pretty are these items!

Another huge H&M haul

It’s only been about a month since I last posted a big H&M haul, but I’m ready with another one. I guess H&M have had some great stuff lately. I’ll start with tops, then go on to bottoms, and finish with accessories and shoes.

You’ve probably discovered that I have a huge weakness when it comes to Disney clothing. I’m especially fond of T-shirts with some sort of Disney print on them, so I had to add these three to my ever growing collection. They’re all adorable.

They next tree tops have a common theme as well; purple. I’m obsessed with everything purple, and you’ll see that in many of my upcoming posts. I know the button up top is green, but it has purple flowers on it, and I love green and purple together. I thought the smock top would be nice for dressier (is that a word?) occasions, and the lilac tank top is the same as the dark yellow one I’ve been loving this summer.

Autumn is approaching which means that it’s time to wear roll neck tops again, and I’m so excited. I’ve talked about H&M roll neck tops before, and how H&M comes out with different colours and patterns of these roll neck tops several times a year, and this is one of the new ones; blue, white, and lilac (once again) little flowers. It’s so pretty.

And now; blazers. I love blazers. They are stables in my wardrobe. I found the beige short sleeve blazer on sale and thought it would be really fun to style. And of course I had to have the oversized purple blazer considering my purple obsession. The grey oversized blazer has matching shorts, so now I have another shorts suit.

And these are the shorts, and they’re the perfect fit and length.

And from shorts to trousers. I’ve bought a new pair of black slacks, which is something I’ve had in my wardrobe for years and years, though I haven’t had a pair in 6 months or longer. I also ordered the matching blazer, but I didn’t like the fit of that, so I just kept the slacks, which I really like. I’ve also purchased two pairs of jeans: a pair of cropped kick flare jeans and a pair of longer wide legged jeans. I’m excited to wear both pairs.

I’ve purchased a couple of skirts as well. Other than purple I’ve also been loving orange and pink, and this orange and pink checked pleated skirt is so pretty. It’s actually featured in my next outfit post. The second skirt is a little ’90s inspired I guess, and it has a more muted purple colour to it, though still purple:)

All we have left now are a couple of accessories and a pair of shoes. I love all kinds of hair accessories, and I have a wide range of scrunchies. I’ve now added a houndstooth one and a black polka dot organza one to my collection. It’s also time to wear scarfs again, and this little white one with beach things on it is really cute.

And I’ve already shown you these strappy lilac heels, because I featured them in my August 5 favourites, so obviously I love them.

5 favourites – August

Summer is over by tomorrow (calendar-wise), and autumn will arrive. The weather has been more autumnal this past week, though it looks like it’s going to be slightly warmer again this week. I’m excited about the weather getting colder though and dressing for autumn. I’m also excited about the fact that we’re getting closer to December, which is my favourite month:) But for now, let’s talk about some of my favourite things from August.

Lilac strappy heels: I know, I haven’t even gotten around to hauling these shoes yet, but I’ve worn them a lot throughout August, so I had to feature them in this post. They’re from H&M, and they’re the perfect strappy heels. And the colour is amazing! I’ve been obsessed with everything purple lately.

Wet n Wild Prime Focus Primer Serum: I’ve been loving a more glowy make-up look lately, and I’m going to feature two of my favourite products to achieve that look. The first one is this primer serum which feels very hydrating on the skin, and it gives your skin a nice and subtle glow. It’s very affordable too.

MAC Fix+ Magic Radiance: MAC Fix+ is one of my holy grail products. I use it every time I wear make-up in some version or other, so I’m always up for trying a new one. The Magic Radiance version is very hydrating and gives your skin a nice, subtle glow (I feel like I’m repeating myself. Wait, I am). I really enjoy this product.

Lipton Vanilla & Caramel black tea: I love everything vanilla scented or flavoured and the same goes for caramel, so when my boyfriend introduced me to this tea, I had a strong feeling that I would love it, and I do. I’m actually drinking a cup of it as I’m writing this.

Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga (film): I’m a huge Eurovision fan, so I was so excited to watch this Netflix orignal film. It was obviously a comedy, but the music was so good; way better than I expected. And it was incredible seeing so many former Eurovision contestants; even my favourite winner of all time, Salvador Sobral, was featured. If you like Eurovision or just great music and comedy this is a must watch.

Incredible second hand haul

I usually always go for a full day of second hand shopping during my summer holiday, and this year was no exception. I found some incredible pieces too.

Sometimes you get really lucky and find the most amazing things. Like this gorgeous vintage dress. It’s so beautiful, and I felt really beautiful in it. I’m so excited to wear this on a special occasion one day.

How cute is this night gown! I’m not going to use it as a night gown though; I’ve actually already worn it, and it made a perfect summer dress.

This dress and blazer came as a set, and it’s so pretty. My sister actually found it for me: I guess she knows what I like.

I have several jumpers from this brand called Quimo in a similar style to this one, and I love them. They all have great colours and beautiful details, this one included.

I love pink, and this pink shirt is so cute. Just look at the buttons shaped like flowers!

My sister actually gave me this T-shirt that used to be hers. I don’t know if she bought it second hand or not, but it’s second hand to me.

How fun and unique is this T-shirt. The details on this are stunning, and I love the navy and gold together.

Another pink item. This time in the shape of a cute fuchsia summer top.

My sister also gave me these, and I know that she bought these second hand, because we were together when she bought them, and I was annoyed about the fact that she saw them first. She ended up never wearing them, and now they’re finally mine.

And now on to a few accessories. I found two bags. The first one is this cute creamy white shoulderbag that will go with so many outfits.

The second bag is this stunning beaded number. How pretty!

Last, but not least, I purchased two ties. They both have paisley prints, and I’m so excited about doing some suit styling soon.

Monki summer sale haul

In the end of June I actually popped in to a physical Monki store (I usually shop online) and found the following items in their summer sale.

I’ve never been that into jumpsuits, but I really liked this navy one. I like the collar, sleeves and bottons and the fact that it ties at the waist. I also like the wide legs, and I’m really excited about styling this for autumn.

How cute is the matching floral set! I love botton up blouses and the fit of the skirt is perfect. It even has pockets! And the print is stunning of course.

I was a bit unsure about these wide leg flowy trousers, but I thought they would be great to just throw on on chilly summer days. I actually already own a botton up blouse/shirt in the same print, but the colours have faded on that one after being washed, so I won’t be wearing the two together.

This is just a cute little off shoulder crop top. Great for hot weather.

The last thing I purchased at Monki wasn’t in the sale, but I had been wanting a sunglasses chain and decided to get this simple silver one, and I’ve been using it ever since I bought it.
