5 favourites – June

June has definitely been the toughest month for me this year so far. I’ve had a lot of exams and some very difficult ones, but they all went well, and now I’m going to enjoy my summer holidays before I start writing my thesis in August. Therefore, my blogging will be inconsistent the next month, but I’ll try to post as often as possible. I wish you all an amazing summer, and here’s some favourites from the month of June.

Kick flare jeans: When I bought these jeans, I didn’t expect to love them as much as I do. I think they make an outfit look way more interesting, and they remind me a bit of the 70’s, which is awesome. I love that they can be styled in so many different ways. I’m wearing them here and here.

Silver choker with pendants: This dainty silver choker has been one of my most worn necklaces this past month. I’ve been layering it with my Stegosaurus necklace, and I think they look great together.

Pukka Peppermint and Licorice 1

Pukka peppermint & licorice tea: I love tea, and liquorice is one of my favourites. This is quite an expensive tea brand (my mum gave it to me), but it really is good, and I love the combination of peppermint and liquorice.

How I Met Your Mother (TV series): I finally decided to watch HIMYM in the beginning of the month, and I got hooked instantly. I watched all 9 seasons (it was pretty much all I did in the evenings after I was done studying for the day), and I absolutely loved it. I will definitely rewatch this series some time.

Nem Eu – Salvador Sobral: My obsession with Salvador Sobral’s music continued throughout the month of June, and this song is just as beautiful as his Eurovision song. I still don’t understand a single word, but it still manages to move me, and I think it’s incredible when music can do that.

Reddish

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’ve been loving reddish shades on my eyes lately, and the Jeffree Star x Manny MUA Velour liquid lipstick in I’m Shook is perfect for a reddish monochrome look.

Warm days

Here’s what I wore Wednesday May 24. It was a warm day followed by a couple of even warmer days. Sadly, I spent most of the time indoors due to exams and a big choir concert, but that’s life.

MAC limited edition summer collections

As you might have noticed, I’m having a break from buying make-up, but of course I had to get a few products from the latest limited edition collections from MAC.

I bought a blusher and a lipstick from the Steve J & Yoni P collection. The blusher is in the shade Sugar or Syrup and it’s a warm pink with a satin finish. It’s so pretty and great for summer.

The lipstick is called A Killing Smile, and it’s a matte bright pinky red. It’s a gorgeous colour, and how cute is the packaging!

Lastly, I got a lipstick from this year’s main summer collection called Fruity Juicy. It’s in the shade Sí, Sí, Me!, which is a beautiful berry colour, and it has a satin finish. All three products are beautiful and perfect for hot summer weather.

Summer evening

Here’s what I wore Thursday May 18 in the evening. I wore this outfit during the day, but changed it before I went to the theatre with my cousin. These trousers are so comfortable and really lightweight, which makes them perfect for a bit more chilly summer evening.

Summer go-to

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. This is pretty much my go-to summer make-up look; minimal, neutral eye make-up and red lips (or any other bright colour).

Plums and purples

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I decided to go with plums and purples for this make-up look to match the lilac top.

Grey and lilac

Here’s what I wore Wednesday May 17. I think grey and lilac is such a nice colour combination, and I love the mix of different fabrics and textures in this outfit.

All pink everything

Lyserød velour T-shirt - AsosLyserøde sneakers - BershkaLyserøde sokker

My obsession with everything pink is still going strong, so a little while ago I bought these pink items on Asos. I couldn’t resist the T-shirt; it’s pink and it’s velvet (another obsession of mine). It’s a bit cropped and so cute. I’ve been wanting a pair of pink sneakers for such a long time, and now I finally got some. They’re from Bershka and I love the baby pink colour. Lastly, I bought some socks. I really like fun and cute socks, and I think they can add some quirkiness to an outfit. I been wanting to try out the fishnet trend, but instead of getting some black ones, I decided to get some bright pink ones. I wore them last week and I really liked them. The flamingo socks and palm tree socks come as a set, and I think the prints and colours are really pretty.
