February has come to an end, and I can almost smell that spring is on its way. February was another month in lock down, and even though the country will slowly be opening a little more up from tomorrow on, I still won’t be going physically back to work for while. So, I’ll continue to work from home (which is not easier or more relaxing when you are a teacher), and when I’m not working I get to watch a bunch of films and TV series, play The Sims 4, and play with make-up (and discover great new products). So it’s not all bad. Anyways, here are my 5 favourites from February.

Essence Volume Booster lash primer: I haven’t hauled this lash primer yet, but I’ve been using a lot, so I wanted to feature it in this post. I’ve been using it with the Fenty Beauty Full Frontal mascara that I did a first impressions post on recently, and I think it definitely adds some volume to my lashes that I think the Fenty Beauty mascara lacks a bit. It’s a super affordable lash primer as well, and I think Essence is doing such a great job with their products in general.

MAC Powderkiss lipsticks: I haven’t even posted a look with one of the MAC Powderkiss lipsticks yet, but they’ll be coming soon, and many of them, because I’ve been loving this lipstick formula. They have a very unique soft matte finish that I really like. They just look so flattering on the lips.

Huda Beauty Silk Balms: On the days where I don’t wear make-up, I always wear lip balm to moisturise my lips, and my favourite lip balms these days are the Huda Beauty Silk Balms. This is a limited edition holiday set with two glittery shades, which is a bit strange for a lip balm, but I really enjoy the formula, so I don’t mind the glitter. I’m sure they would make great, very moisturising lip toppers as well.

WandaVision (Tv series): I’m a big MCU fan, so I was excited to watch WandaVision when it came to Disney+. I’m not completely sure what I expected of this show, but it’s definitely different and in the best way possible. I was very confused throughout the first couple of episodes, and I have new questions after each new episode, but that’s what makes this show so interesting. If you’re a Marvel fan and haven’t gotten around to watch WandaVision yet, you really should.

Avatar: The Last Airbender (TV series): Here’s a series that I really didn’t expect to enjoy as much as I do. It’s my boyfriend’s favourite TV series, and I had promised him that I would watch the first episode with him, and here we are; two seasons in, and I’m really excited to watch the third and final season. Now I get why this is such a well-loved series.
