5 favourites – April

It’s the final day of April and a very rainy one. April has propably been the busiest month for me this year so far. I’ve been working a lot, and I also moved. I still managed to collect a lot of favourites, and here’s 5 of them.

Regnbue hårnåle

Rainbow hair pins: I’ve had this colourful hair pins for ages, and I’ve always used them a lot, but I’ve started to use them even more. I’m wearing them here, and it’s one of my go-to hair styles.

Paprika Pringles

Pringles – Paprika: I definitely prefer sweets/candy over crisps, but I do like crisps, and I have found my favourite flavour in these Pringles. They are so good!

iPhone SE: I really needed to get a new phone for ages, and two weeks ago, I finally got a new one. I decided to get my first iPhone, and I didn’t need the newest one, so I went with the SE, and so far I’m very happy with my choice. I’ve always wanted a phone with a cute cover, and I found this awesome dinosaur one on Etsy (if you didn’t know already, I’m obsessed with dinosaurs).

wonder_woman

Wonder Woman (film): I finally got to watch Wonder Woman in the beginning of the month, and I loved it. I’m always up for a good super hero film, and it’s so nice to see a strong, female super hero as the main character.

My new apartment: My last favourite of this month is my new apartment. I’ve only lived here for two weeks, but I love it! It’s nice to be out of the dorm and finally have a proper home. The picture is just a small part of my living room, and it’s one of my favourite spaces.

More purple please

Here’s what I wore Wednesday March 14. I love this outfit! I’ve been adding more purple items to my wardrobe and considered that it is my favourite colour, it’s strange that I didn’t used to have many purple clothes.

Lilac dream

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. This lip colour is incredible; it’s probably my new favourite purple lipstick. It’s such a wearable lilac shade due to the grey undertone.

Here’s what I wore Tuesday March 13. I’m really loving the colours green and purple at the moment, and I love the two colours together. This outfit has more green than purple, but the purple lips and nails add a final touch to the look.

Random small haul

Grøn kjole m. pink og blå blomster - H&MSort pels pandebåndGlitter strømper

This is a very random mix of things that I purchased a while ago, but I wanted to share them with you. I needed something to wear at my sister’s 18th birthday party and found the beautiful, green, floral dress on sale at H&M. I love everything about it, and I’ll be posting the whole outfit I wore at my sister’s birthday soon. The day I bought the dress, I actually went to H&M to buy a new headband, because I’d lost my old one. It has finally started to get a bit warmer in Denmark, but back when I bought this it was still very cold outside, and this faux fur headband keeps my ears warm. Finally, my local supermarket started carrying a new type of glitter socks, so of course I had to add them to my glitter sock collection.

Bright and colourful

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The colour scheme of the outfit was quite neutral, so I decided to wear bright and colourful make-up. This is the easiest kind of eye look you can do; I’m just wearing a yellow eye shadow all over the lid, and then I highlighted the inner corner and brow bone.

(Base: primer – Wet n Wild CoverAll primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Luminous + Smooth foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 05), powders – Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit Light to Medium (shades: Banana + Vanilla) + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – Benefit Hoola bronzer, blusher – MAC Nutcracker Sweet Peach Face Compact Extra Dimension blush in At Dusk, highlighter – MAC Nutcracker Sweet Peach Face Compact Extra Dimension skinfinish in Tutu. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Collection (shade: White Chocolate) +  MAC eye shadows (shades: Goldenrod + Nylon), mascara – Benefit Roller Lash mascara, eyeliner – Sephora Long lasting kohl pencil in 07 Infinite beige. Eyebrows – e.l.f. Clear Brow & Lash Mascara. Lips: NYX Slim lip pencil in Plush Red + MAC A Killing Smile lipstick)

Donald Duck

Here’s what I wore Monday March 12. This Donald Duck T-shirt is so cute, and I love the way it looks paired with my pleated, silver skirt.

All about orange

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I love a monochrome make-up look and for this look I went with different shades of orange to match my amber jewellery.

(Base: primers – Benefit the POREfessional face primer + L’Oréal Lumi Magique Pure Light primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Luminous + Smooth foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 15) + L’Oréal True Match concealer (shade: 1 Ivory), powders – Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit Light to Medium (shades: Banana + Vanilla) + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – Benefit Hoola bronzer, blusher – MAC Peaches powder blush, highlighter – Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Peach Goddess. Black blazer

Here’s what I wore Wednesday March 7. I love this black second hand blazer. Everyone should own at least one black blazer, and this one is my personal favourite.

(Blazer – second hand, jeans – H&M, blouse + top – Gina Tricot, belt – Pieces, sneakers – Adidas)

Small collective make-up haul

DSC_5111DSC_5114DSC_5123

I haven’t bought much new make-up lately, but when Beautybay.com had a sale a little while back, I finally bought the Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipstick in the shade Prom Night, which has been on my wishlist for absolute ages. I also decided to try out one of his lip scrubs and chose the Mojito scent/flavour. I will make a first impressions post on it at some point. And then I recently saw some new eye shadow palettes at the Essence display at my local supermarket, and I thought I would try one out. I will also be posting my first impressions on this palette another time.
