5 favourites: September

September has come to an end, which means that there are only two more months before it’s December! I’m already super excited about December and Christmas. I really can’t wait! September definitely brought some colder weather with it, but that just means that it’s time for cosy jumpers and cute socks. Here are my 5 favourites from September.

Mickey nattøj

Mickey Mouse pyjamas: These are my new favourite pyjamas. I’m always cold at night, and this long sweatshirt and leggings combo is perfect for keeping me warm + I love a good Mickey print.

Glitter strømper

Glitter socks: Speaking of cute socks, I’ve been loving glitter socks lately. They add a perfect final touch to an outfit. I haven’t posted any outfits featuring glitter socks yet, but I will soon-ish.

EOS Vanilla Mint lip balm

EOS Visibly Soft lip balm in Vanilla Mint: I’ve been using EOS lip balms for years, but I just started using this one in September, and I love the scent. Vanilla and mint might sound like a strange combo, but it works. It smells so good.

Finding nemo

Finding Nemo (film): Until a few weeks ago, I had only watch Finding Nemo once and it was so many years ago, so I didn’t remember much of it. Therefore, I was really excited to rewatch it, and it was so good!

Bones

Bones (TV series): My absolute favourite this past month has been Bones. I’ve been watching it almost every day since one of the last days of August, and I’m almost done watching season 6. I’d watched a few episodes on TV a long time ago, but I’m really enjoying watching it from the beginning and in chronological order. You really get to know the characters and their development through the series which I love.

A bit of colour

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Due to the fact that I had to wear an all black outfit that day, I decided to wear a red lip to add a bit of colour.

A little too black

Here’s what I wore Wednesday August 23. I rarely wear an all black outfit, unless I’m going out, but this day the choir I sing in had a little photoshoot, where all choir members had to wear all black. I do like this outfit, though it is very black.

From my sister

Sort 'fleece' sweater m. lynlåse - Noisy MayMarineblå spidse 'herre'sko - ZaraPompomer fra Kathrine

My oldest younger sister and I often wear the same sizes in clothes. She recently cleaned out her closet and brought me and our other sister some things she didn’t want anymore. I picked two things; a super soft and cosy fleece-like jumper from the brand Noisy May and a pair of navy, pointy-toe shoes from Zara. I thought the jumper would be great for lounging around on a cold day, and I remember loving the shoes when my sister had them. She also brought me two pompom keyrings that she made herself. She is extremely creative and makes all sorts of things. She is going to make something else for me, which I’m really excited about and will be posting on the blog at some point.

Super bright watermelon

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I could have gone all pastel with my make-up to match my outfit, but instead I decided to go with very neutral eye make-up and a super bright lip.

(Base: primers – e.l.f. Blemish Control Face Primer + Wet n Wild CoverAll primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 15) + L’Oréal True Match concealer (shade: 1 Ivory), powders – NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette (shades: Soft Light + Cream) + Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed powder (shade: 001 Transparent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – Benefit Hoola bronzer, blusher – MAC Sugar or Syrup powder blush, highlighter – MAC Trip the Light Fantastic powder in Luna Luster. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Collection (shades: White Chocolate) + Sleek Storm eye shadow palette (shades: Calm Before the Storm + Snow Storm) + MAC Nylon eye shadow, mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – Sephora Long lasting kohl pencil in 07 Infinite beige. Eyebrows – e.l.f. Bubblegum and other sweets pt. 2

Here’s what I wore Tuesday August 22. This outfit reminds me of bubblegum and other sweets. I love pastel colours, and I think the pink, blue, and white look very cute together.

(Trousers – made by my grandmother, T-shirt – Asos, necklace – Gina Tricot, sneakers – Bershka)

Sumptious olive

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’m wearing Sumptious Olive eye shadow from MAC on the inner part of my eyelids, and I think it looks great paired with brown on both eyes and lips.

Blemish Control Face Primer + Wet n Wild CoverAll primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 15) + L’Oréal True Match concealer (shade: 1 Ivory), powders – NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette (shades: Soft Light + Cream) + Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed powder (shade: 001 Transparent). Monday heels

Here’s what I wore Monday August 21. I decided to dress up my casual Monday outfit with a pair of heels, and I think they are a nice contrast to the rest of the outfit.

Jeffree Star Chrome Summer Collection

DSC_3413

In the beginning of August, I couldn’t resist the Jeffree Star Chrome Summer Collection any longer. I only purchased the two liquid lipsticks I wanted the most which are Calabasas and You. Better. Work. Calabasas is the pinky/rosy version of I’m Shook (which is one of my favourites), and it’s such a beautiful and very wearable colour. You. Better. Work. is exactly the kind of purple I’ve been wishing that Jeffree would make. It’s my favourite kind of purple, and it’s so gorgeous! He has a sale on his web page and on Beauty Bay right now if you should be interested in these shades or any other shades.

Old fave

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wore one of my Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate (Moss) lipsticks, which I used to wear all the time about three years ago, and I still think this orangy-red shade is really pretty.

(Base: primers – e.l.f. Blemish Control Face Primer + Wet n Wild CoverAll primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 15) + L’Oréal True Match concealer (shade: 1 Ivory), powders – NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette (shades: Soft Light + Cream) + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent).
