5 favourites – November

It’s the last day of November which means that my favourite month starts tomorrow. I’ve been waiting for December and Christmas for so long now, and I can’t wait! You’ll be seeing a lot of christmassy outfits and hauls on my blog in December, but before we get into that let’s talk about some of my favourite things from the month of November.

Brun pelsjakke - second hand

Brown faux fur coat: It’s gotten a lot colder outside, so I’ve been wearing my winter coats lately. My most worn coat this past month is this faux fur coat that my sister found years ago at a second hand store. It’s just so nice and snuggly.

Blå slim mom jeans m. Mickey Mouse print - H&M

Mickey Mouse jeans: These jeans are just awesome. The fit is great, and I love the Mickey Mouse print. I’m wearing them here and here.

Blå glimmer sock boots m. chunky hæl - Monki

Blue glitter boots: This style of boot from Monki is so good! Last month I featured the checked version of these in my 5 favourites, and I love these blue glitter ones just as much.

Lilla hue

Purple beanie: I find it difficult to find the perfect beanie, but I think I might have found it in this purple Monki one. It fits well, and the colour is stunning.

elf HD undereye setting powder

e.l.f. HD Undereye setting powder in Sheer: I’ve never been a huge fan of loose powders (maybe I just don’t know how to use them properly), but I’ve really enjoyed using this undereye setting powder from e.l.f. It doesn’t feel cakey or dry on the skin, and it keeps my concealer crease-free all day. And it’s affordable too.

Very autumnal

Here’s what I wore Tuesday November 13. I wore my beloved plum-coloured corduroy trousers from last winter, and I styled them up with a stripy top in beautiful autumn colours and probably my favourite autumn boots. All in all, a very autumnal outfit.

Colour and glitter

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I love doing my make-up for a night out, because I get to play around with colour and glitter.

Jeffree Star Holiday 2018

DSC_6327DSC_6331DSC_6335

Jeffree Star released his 2018 holiday collection two weeks ago, and of course I picked up a handful of products from the collection. I purchased three of the Velour liquid lipsticks and one Velour lip scrub. The white iridescent packaging is stunning and the glitter is the icing on the cake. The lipstick shades that I picked up are Karma (warm khaki green), Hi, How are Ya? (red w. glitter), and Triggered (dark plum brown w. glitter). So far I’ve only worn Triggered and it was so pigmented and absolutely gorgeous. The lip scrub that I picked up is the salted caramel flavoured one, and I love everything salted caramel. I think Jeffree Star created another gorgeous holiday collection this year.

Farrah

Here’s what I wore Friday November 9. Another outfit inspired by Farrah Fawcett’s iconic skateboard picture though now with the actual picture as a part of the outfit.

Checkered

Here’s what I wore Thursday November 8. Ever since I got the purple corduroy Vans I been wanting to wear them with my gingham trousers for a matching black and white checkered look.

Latest second hand finds

Today I want to share my latest second hand finds with you.

Sort top m. glitter og v-udskæring - second hand

I’m always on the hunt for a new ‘party’ top, and I couldn’t leave this glitter top behind. I love the pattern in the glitter, and I think it’ll look great on top of a black long-sleeve roll neck top for the colder season.

Blå blazer - second hand

I always look for blazers when I’m second hand shopping, because all of my favourite blazers are second hand. My latest blazer find is this blue one, and I can’t wait to style it.

Sort rullekravetrøje m. grå striber - second hand

Another thing I’m always looking for at second hand stores are roll neck tops. This one has stripes which is just a big plus.

Marineblå og turkis stribet sweater - second hand

How cute is this home-knitted jumper. I love the colours and the fact that it’s stripy.

Sort midi nederdel - second hand

And now for skirts. I bought three skirts, the first one being this simple black midi skirt. I thought it would be nice to have a black skirt to wear for any occasion.

Rød uld nederdel m. Mickey Mouse - second hand

This skirt has a tiny, little Mickey Mouse on the pocket, and you probably know how I feel about Mickey Mouse or anything Disney related. I think this skirt would look really cute with a lot of my Christmas jumpers.

Mørkebrun maxi nederdel m. blomster - second hand

The third and last skirt is this brown floral maxi skirt. It’s very different from anything I own, but I thought it would be fun to style.

Lysegråt tørklæde m. leopardmønster - second hand

Lastly, I found this grey leopard print scarf, which I’ve worn several times already. Animal print has obviously been a huge trend for a while now, so I thought a scarf was a good piece for trying out the trend.

Outfit obsession

DSC_6257DSC_6260redi

Here’s what I wore Tuesday November 6. I’m obsessed with this outfit! It might ‘just’ be a blazer, a T-shirt, and jeans, but every piece added something that made the outfit more fun and interesting, and I just felt good in it.

(Blazer – second hand, jeans – H&M, T-shirt – gift, belt – Asos, earrings – vintage, boots – New Look)

Ombré match

DSC_6225DSC_6222

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I might have to start wearing more brown and purple make-up looks, because I think the two colours look great together. I did an ombré lip to match the colour of my T-shirt, and I think I came close to a perfect match.

(Base: primer – Wet n Wild CoverAll primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Instant Anti Age Eraser concealer (shade: 00 Ivory), powders – e.l.f. HD Undereye setting powder in Sheer + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – Physicians Formula Butter bronzer (shade: Light), blusher – Essence Satin Touch blush in 20 Satin Love, highlighter – Laura Geller baked highlighter (shade: French Vanilla).
