5 favourites – December

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas or whatever you celebrate and happy New Year! Another year has come to an end, and for me it’s the end of an era. I handed in my master’s thesis a few days ago which means that I’m saying goodbye to the university after 5,5 years. Even though it will be a month before I actually get my master’s degree, I have already gotten a job, and I start working in just a few days. 2018 is going to be challeging and filled with new experiences which I’m really looking forward to. Let’s say goodbye to 2017 with some December favouites.

Fluffy Christmas socks: Throughout the month I have expressed my love for Christmas clothing, and I’ve loved wearing all my different jumpers and T-shirts. I’ve also loved wearing these fluffy Christmas penguin socks. They’re extremely soft and comfortable and so cute.

Røde støvler m. chunky hæl - Raid

Red boots by Raid: I’ve been obsessed with these red boots in December, and I have a feeling that the obsession will continue. They went so well with most of my christmassy outfits, and they’re a perfect pop of colour.

Maybelline Fit Me Luminous + Smooth foundation

Maybelline Fit Me Luminous + Smooth foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain): My favourite foundation for the past year or so has been the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation, but because I had a rash underneath my eyes, I’ve had to stay away from matte make-up, so I decided to try the Luminous + Smooth version of the foundation, and I’ve loved it.

Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipstick in Poinsettia: I’ve mainly worn red lipsticks in December, and this metallic dream has been my favourite. Even though it’s metallic, it’s very wearable, and I’ll continue to wear it all year round.

Finding Dory

Finding Dory (film): I finally got to watch Finding Dory, and I was suprised by how great it is. I think it’s even better than Finding Nemo, and I’ll definitely rewatch this film another time.

Beautiful brown

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Instead of going with a pink make-up look, I decided to match my make-up to the cute gingerbread men on my T-shirt. It was the perfect opportunity to wear a beautiful brown lipstick.

Gingerbread men

Here’s what I wore Wednesday December 20. This is probably my least christmassy Christmas outfit I’ve worn this year, but how cute is the pink gingerbread men T-shirt!

BeautyBay 30% off sale + more

DSC_4217DSC_4330

In November, BeautyBay had a 30% off sale, so I bought the items in the first picture. I decided it was time to try out the RCMA No-Color Powder that I’ve heard so much about. I also really wanted to try out a Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow liquid eye shadow, and because they’re so expensive I waited for a sale. I purchased the shade Smoldering Satin. Lastly, I bought a couple of eyeliners; a bright reddish orange from Morphe called High Maintenance and a metallic taupy champagne from Zoeva called Nude Reflection. When the Jeffree Star Holiday Glitter collection finally hit BeautyBay I purchased the Velour liquid lipstick in the shade Mermaid Blood which is a gorgeous teal colour. I also bought a Morphe eye shadow brush in number M518. I’ll be featuring these products in future make-up posts.

Merry Christmas everyone

Merry Christmas everyone! I Denmark we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve, so here’s what I wore yesterday. I had a lovely Christmas with my family, and today we’re just going to have a nice, relaxing day. I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas.

Those red boots

Here’s what I wore Monday December 18. Are you tired of seeing these red boots yet, because I’m not tired of wearing them! And they are a perfect match for the festive Mickey Mouse T-shirt.

H&M haul

I have another clothing haul to show you, and I’m pretty sure this will be the last one of the year. When I went shopping and bought these things, I also tried on the red Mickey Mouse Christmas T-shirt at H&M, but they didn’t have it in my size, so when I found it on sale on the website, it was meant to be. I also found the Donald Duck T-shirt on the website which I’m very excited about. I can’t wait to style it. I also bought a little, Black cami top with sequins which is great for parties and nights out. I’ve been wanting the plaid trousers for a while, so when I found them on sale, I had to order them. They’re so festive, but I’m going to wear them all year round. I’ve also been wanting a black, A-line mini skirt for a long time, and even though this one is a bit shorter than I hoped, I’ll make it work. The belt was a gift from my advent calendar from my mum, and it’s a really nice plaited one.

Silver glitter eyeliner

Here’s the make-up I wore with this party outfit. I’m obsessed with this glitter eyeliner. I don’t wear winged eyeliner very often, because I’m really bad at applying it and it takes a long time, but for once I had time to do a nice party make-up.

Here’s what I wore Friday December 15. How cute is this cropped Mickey Mouse Christmas jumper! I decided to style it with high-waisted jeans and red accessories, and I really like how this outfit turned out.
