By tomorrow it’ll officially be summer (calendar-wise), and I’m really excited about that. Especially because the weather has gotten warmer and sunnier. Things are also looking up when it comes to the lock down; lots of things are opening up again, and I might be going in to work again soon. I actually went to work last Monday, but I wasn’t teaching, but hopefully soon I will. I had so many favourites this month, but I managed to narrow them down to just five, so here they are.
RCMA No-Color powder: I bought this powder about two years ago, and I did a first impressions post on it. I liked it back then, but I didn’t find it to be anything particularly special, and I kind of forgot about it. However, I recently dug out forgotten products from my make-up collection with the intent of using them to find out whether I wanted to keep them or not, and I definitely found some duds, but I also rediscovered really good products e.g. this powder. I don’t know what have changed, but I’m suddenly really loving this powder.
MAC Rose-gilded eyeshadow palette: I briefly mentioned this palette in my latest haul, and I wrote that I would be talking more about it soon. The time has come. This palette has two fantastic eyeshadow formulas that are different to the regular MAC eyeshadow formulas. The formulas are called creamy matte and molten foil and both are super pigmented and very blendable. The shades are stunning too, and I think I’ve created some beautiful looks with this palette (which I’ll be posting soon).
Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r – Instant Warmth bronzer (shade: Inda Sun): I had a feeling that this bronzer would become a favourite. There’s not much to say about this product other than the formula is great; it blends out beautifully and looks stunning on the skin.
Earring holder: I bought this earring holder from Flying Tiger earlier this month, and it holds up to 48 pairs of earrings. I love having most of my earrings in one place (except for the really big ones), and it spins so it’s easy to get to every single pair.
Unlock (game): I love board games and card games (I guess this is a hybrid), and I tried Unlock for the first time at a board game café in February and thought it was a lot of fun. It’s an escape room kind of game, so if you like those, you’ll most definitely like Unlock. There are 7 different versions and this is the newest version (Epic Adventures). I bought it for a casual at-home date night with my boyfriend, and we both really enjoyed playing this game.
