5 favourites – April

We are rapidly moving into the last month of spring, and I really wish the weather would get a lot warmer very soon. Anyways, April was another very busy month for me, and my exams start in May, so I have yet another busy month ahead of me. But let’s say goodbye to April by talking about some favourites.

solv-sneakers-missguided

Silver sneakers by Missguided: I’m so glad I bought these silver sneakers back in December. They add a little extra something to any outfit, and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten so many complements on a pair of shoes before.

Jeffree Star Beauty Killer eye shadow palette: Jeffree Star Cosmetics is one of my favourite make-up brands, and I finally bought the Beauty Killer palette a couple of months ago. The shadows are so pigmented, and I love the colours; I’ve actually worn more colourful eye looks this month partly because of this palette.

Wet n Wild MegaGlo contouring palette in Dulce De Leche: This little highlight and contour duo is very handy. It’s great for travelling, and the powders are matte and very pigmented.

MONSTERS, INC. 3D

Monsters, Inc. (film): On the film front, my 2017 has been amazing so far. One of the best films, I’ve watched this past month, is Monsters, Inc. I’ve watched it once before, but that was years ago, so I didn’t remember much of it. It was so good though, but as the Disney lover that I am, I find it hard to dislike anything Disney.

glee

Glee (TV series): I’ve watched Glee before, but this month I just felt like rewatching it. So I watched the first two seasons and about half of the third season again, and I still love it. I was in my gymnasium’s (high school) choir, which I loved, but I wish it would have been more like glee club.

Berry, where have you been?

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I hadn’t worn a berry lip in ages, and this one has a beautiful, shimmery, purple sheen to it.

Black days

Here’s what I wore Friday March 17. Even though I love colours, some days I just feel like wearing black.

MAC Colour Rocker + lip pencil

DSC_2159DSC_2153

I’m always excited about lipsticks in fun and unusual colours, so obviously I had to get my hands of some of the MAC Colour Rocker lipsticks. I know they’re been out for a while, but I’m on my busiest semester so far, so I don’t have time to blog as regularly as I used to. I’ll try to blog as much as I can though. Anyways, back to lipsticks. I decided to buy three shades from the collection (even though I could have bought pretty much every shade); Show and Teal, Night Mint, and Cold Hard Cash. At the time I bought the lipsticks there was a deal on the webside where you would get 20 % off if the bought a lipstick and a lip pencil, so I saw that as an opportunity to buy the lip pencil in Stone as well. I’ll post looks with all of these lip products eventually, but I have a look wearing one of them coming up soon.

Pink stain

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. My pink mood called for pink make-up as well. The hot pink eye shadow I’m wearing is so pigmented that it left a stain after I removed it.

Blemish Control Face Primer + Wet n Wild CoverAll primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 15), powders – NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette (shades: Soft Light + Cream) + Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed powder (shade: 001 Transparent) + MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Warm Rose. In a pink mood

DSC_2228rediDSC_2230redi

Here’s what I wore Friday March 10. I was in a very pink mood that day (I don’t know if you can actually be in a pink mood, but I was), so I pulled my pink blazer out of my closet and wore it with my Barbie T-shirt. I love that combo!

Bad nail habits

DSC_2292DSC_2293DSC_2291

I haven’t done a nail post in ages, and it’s because my nails were in a really bad condition for a long time, but a few weeks back they got a bit better (the pictures) and now they’re a bit bad again. By bad I mean that they break all the time. My nails are very fragile, and I think it might have something to do with the fact that I used to bite my nails; I started biting them in kindergarten and didn’t stop until I was 16. I still have the tendency to fiddle with my nails when they’re starting to break which doesn’t make it better. Do you know any good products for making your nails stronger?

Fun and fresh

DSC_2197DSC_2206

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Applying a bright eyeliner to the waterline is a great way of incorporating a bit of colour to an eye look. I always think it looks really fun and fresh.

(Base: primers – e.l.f. Blemish Control Face Primer + Wet n Wild CoverAll primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 15), powders – Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit Light to Medium (shades: Banana + Vanilla) + Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed powder (shade: 001 Transparent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette (shade: Sculpt) + The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing powder (shade: 02 fair matte), blusher – I forgot to write down the blusher I was wearing, highlighter – Catrice High Glow Mineral highlighting powder in 010 Light Infusion. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Jeffree Star Beauty Killer eye shadow palette (shades: China White + Courtney) + MAC Nylon eye shadow + Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit Light to Medium (shade: Sand), mascaras – MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash mascara + NYX Color mascara in Blue, eyeliner – Makeup Geek Full Spectrum eye liner pencil in Cobalt. Eyebrows – e.l.f. Clear Brow & Lash Mascara. Lips: Essence lipliner in 14 Femme Fatale + Urban Decay Gwen Stefani lipstick in 714)

Throw on dress

DSC_2208rediDSC_2209rediDSC_2210redi

Here’s what I wore Thursday March 9. This dress is such an easy piece to throw on, and I decided to belt the waist to add a bit of shape.

(Dress – H&M, belt – Asos, boots – Truffle Collection)

H&M haul part 1

Hvid skjorte - H&MMørkeblå velour sweatshirt - H&MSort bluse m. høj hals og tunge detaljer - H&MGammelrosa bluse m. vide ærmer - H&MSorte højtaljede jeans - H&M

I’ve been shopping quite a bit at H&M lately, both online and in physical stores, and this is going to be part 1 of the haul. I bought the white shirt, because I needed it for a costume (I was Mrs. Mia Wallace at a costume party about a month ago), but I’d thought about getting a white shirt for a long time anyways, and this is a nicely fitted one. I’m still obsessed with velvet, and I couldn’t leave the beautiful, blue jumper behind. The black top and the pink top I bought on sale online. The black top is really nice for layering, and I love the bell sleeves on the pink top (and the colour of course). I also found the skinny, black jeans on sale online, and I thought it would be nice to have a second pair of high waisted black jeans in my wardrobe.
