Today is the last day of August which means that by tomorrow it’s officially autumn. August has mainly been a good month, and even though it’s a bit sad that it’s no longer summer, I’m looking forward to September. But first things first; here’s my August favourites.
Hugo Boss Nuit Pour Femme perfume: I got this perfume for Christmas last year, but then I went to England in January (where I decided to bring this perfume), so I didn’t really get around to wear it until August. It’s been my most worn perfume this month and has become one of my favourite everyday scents.
Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner in black: As I mentioned in this post, I’ve never been a big fan of black liner on me, but after figuring out how to use this felt tip liner, I’ve been loving a thin black line paired with a simple neutral eye look.
Simple graphic silver necklace from H&M: I’ve been loving this new addition to my jewellery collection. I got the gold version as well, but since I wear silver jewellery more often than gold, this one has been my favourite. It’s just the perfect little detail to almost any outfit.
Pretty Little Liars – season 2 + 3: In my favourites post from April I mentioned Pretty Little Liars season 1 and how hooked I was on the show. Well, for my birthday in the beginning of August I got season 2 + 3 on DVD, and I watched both seasons within two weeks. This show has giving me thrills like no other show or film I’ve ever seen and that says it all.
Long Road Home (album) – Charlie Simpson: I’ve expressed my love for Charlie Simpson’s amazing music before, and his new album Long Road Home is incredible. I’ve been listening to the whole album countless times the past month, and here you can listen to the title song and one of my favourites.
Here’s what I wore Thursday last week (August 21). Wednesday to Friday last week was introduction days on my new study and we had some outdoors activities on the program for Thursday, so I decided to dress casual and comfortable for the occation.
(Jeans – Cheap Monday, T-shirt – Primark, shirt + necklace – Gina Tricot, sneakers – Nike)
I recently spend the birthday money I got from my grandfather on this pretty little gold ring. It’s a Pernille Corydon ring (so is this one) which I’ve been wanting for a while. It’s so simple and delicate. Now I have two little gold rings which look perfect together.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’m wearing the same eye make-up as in this post. It was the first time I wore my Lasting Finish by Kate lipstick in the colour 02 (the first lipstick from the left in this post), and I love it! It has a warmer more red/coral undertone to it than most of my other hot pink lipsticks which I really like.
Here’s what I wore Wednesday last week (August 20). It was my first day back at uni that day, so I haven’t had time to blog as much as usual. I’m pretty sure that I’ll be very busy with my studies until at least after Christmas, because I’ve started on my second subject (if you can call it that) + I’m going to write my bachelor project this semester, but it’s still great to be back.
(Jeans – Modström, bomber – Monki, T-shirt – Gina Tricot, slip-ons – Topshop)
I bought this Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick the same day as I bought this make-up kit. I’d never seen these liquid lipsticks before, so I thought why not give it a try. I’ve only worn it once so far, so I don’t no exactly how I feel about it yet. I do like the colour though which is called Ultimate Orchid.
Here’s the make-up I wore Sunday August 17. I’ve been loving this eye make-up lately. I’m usually not a big fan of black eyeliner on me, but a thin line might just do the trick. To create the thin line I’ve used the Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner in black (obviously). On my lips I’m wearing this lipgloss.
