5 favourites – June

Another month has come to an end and for me it was the last month of work before the summer holidays. The warm summer weather has returned, and the timing is perfect. I’ll be spending most of July with my family in my parents’ summer house/cottage, so I won’t be blogging everyday, but I’ll still try to blog as much as possible. Anyways, I had a lot of favourites in June, but I managed to pick five, so here they are.

Sort oversized denimjakke m. Pluto-mønster - H&M

Oversized denim jacket with Pluto print: I’m sure, I’ve expressed my love for everything Disney more than once, and this denim jacket is no exception. Denim jackets are my go-to outerwear in the summer, and this one is so cute and it makes every outfit a little more fun and quirky.

Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipstick in Anna Nicole: I rarely feature lip products in my favourites posts, because I wear and love so many different ones, but I had to mention this gorgeous bright orangy-red shade from my favourite liquid lipstick brand. It’s the perfect summer red.

jurassic-world-fallen-kingdom_r9ur2r

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (film): Having a huge dinosaur obsession, I was very excited about the newest addition to the Jurassic series, and I was not disappointed. It was a bit darker and creepier than the previous films, but I really liked that. Oh, and the dinosaurs were awesome.

That-70s-show-800x400

That ’70s Show (TV series): My dad has talked about this TV series for years, and when I discovered that all 8 season were on Netflix, I decided to give it a go. I’m very inspired by ’70s fashion and home decor, so I knew I would love those parts of the series, but as it turns out, I love everything else as well.

Excuse Me – Salvador Sobral (album): I’ve featured two Salvador Sobral songs in previous 5 favourites posts, and I finally bought his debut album from 2016. I’ve been listening to this album on repeat throughout the entire month of June; it’s so beautiful! The song above is one of my favourites from the album, and I would recommend that you give it a listen.

Chilly, but summery

Here’s what I wore Wednesday June 13. It was a bit chilly that day, so I wore trousers and my creepers, but I tried to keep it somewhat summery with the cherry print T-shirt and denim jacket.

(Denim jacket + trousers – H&M, T-shirt – Monki, belt – Asos, creepers – The Fabulous Creepers)

First ever Bershka haul

I’ve been saving some items on Asos from the brand Bershka and after watching a Bershka haul on Youtube some weeks ago, I decided to make an order myself from Bershka’s own online shop. I really recommend checking out this brand, because they have so many cute items and the prices are really affordable.

Lyseblå crop top m. trykknapper - BershkaMultifarvet stribet crop top m. trykknapper - BershkaHvid crop top m. twist - Bershka

There are a lot of cute little crop tops on the website. As far as I remember, the blue one and the stripy one were on sale, but all three were really affordable.

Sort og hvidstribet T-shirt m. rød kant - BershkaRegnbue stribet T-shirt - Bershka

They have these extremely affordable organic cotton T-shirts in a bunch of different colours and patterns, so I decided to get two striped ones. I’ve already worn the black and white one twice, and I love it! They’re so soft and the fit is great.

Mørkegrå Jurassic Park 25th anniversary T-shirt - BershkaHvid Dirty Dancing T-shirt - Bershka

They also have some cute graphic tees, and of course I couldn’t resist the Jurassic Park one. I love Dirty Dancing, so I had to have the Dirty Dancing T-shirt as well.

Grå og orange ternet blazer - BershkaGrå og orange ternet slacks - Bershka

Then I bought a matching set. It’s quite a casual suit, and I’m really excited to style it.

Lyserøde culottes m. blå og hvide striber - Bershka

These pretty pink culottes were one of the items I’d saved on Asos, so I had to have these. They’re high waisted with a nice belt detail, and I love the pink and blue colours together.

Sort assymmetrisk midi nederdel m. hvide prikker - BershkaMultifarvet assymmetrisk midi nederdel - Bershka

The main reason why I decided to check out the website was because I was very interested in the polka dot skirt. Polka dots are obviously very trendy at the moment, and I wanted to try out the trend. I wore this skirt yesterday and the day before that, and I loved it! The stripy skirt was another item I’d saved on Asos, and I just love the colours and the asymmetric cut.

Orange stiletter - Bershka

Lastly, I found these orange high heel sandals in the sale section, and even though I don’t wear stiletto heels very often anymore, I thought I would give them a try.

A lot going on

Here’s what I wore Monday June 11. This outfit has a lot going on, but I like it. I especially like the pairing of the check ruffled hem trousers and the love heart fishnet socks.

(Denim jacket + fishnet socks – H&M, trousers – Topshop, T-shirt – Asos, sneakers – Adidas)

Matching neutrals

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. As much as I love colourful make-up, this outfit called for matching neutral make-up, and I love this kind of make-up look too.

(Base: primer – MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Illuminating Base (shade: Radiant Yellow), foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 05), powders – Wet n Wild MegaGlo contouring palette in Dulce De Leche (highlight shade) + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – Benefit Hoola bronzer, blusher – Milani powder blush in 01 Romantic Rose, highlighter – Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Eclipse. Summer neutrals

Here’s what I wore Friday June 8. It was another hot day and a perfect occasion to wear this cute, white skirt. I paired it with neutral colours, which is unlike me, but I really like this outfit.

Collective second hand haul: accessories

Here’s the second part of my collective second hand haul: the accessories. You can check out the clothes part here.

Brun skuldertaske - second handCremefarvet håndtaske m. pastelstriber - second handCremefarvet og brun koprint håndtaske - second hand

Before my love for shoes really kicked in, I loved bags, and I rediscovered my love for bags recently. Second hand stores are great places to shop for bags, because you can usually find som fun and different ones. The first bag I found was the little brown shoulder bag. I love the shape, and you can never have to many little shoulder bags. On the other hand, I’ve been wanting to get into hand bags again, and how cute is the pastel striped one! It’s the perfect little summer bag. Lastly, I found the coolest cow print bag. I can’t wait to style this one with the right outfit.

Stråhat m. hvidt bånd - second hand

I also found this simple wide brim straw hat, which is perfect for this time of year, and I didn’t have a classic straw hat in my hat collection.

Lilla bredt bælte - second hand

I’m always looking for belts, when I’m second hand shopping, but I haven’t had any luck finding any in years. Maybe my luck has changed, because I recently found this nice purple one.

Broche m. rød sten og kæder

I’ve also started looking for brooches/pins, and how pretty is this one. I think adding a brooch to an outfit can be such a nice little detail.

Kawaii party

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I had a really hard time capturing the glitter on my eyelids in the pictures, but at least you can see how cute the MAC Nicopanda lipstick in the shade Kawaii Party is.

(Base: primers – Benefit the POREfessional face primer + L’Oréal Lumi Magique Pure Light primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 05), powders – NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette (shades: Soft Light + Cream) + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – Benefit Hoola bronzer, blusher – NYX Ombre Blush in Mauve Me, highlighter – Sleek Highlighting palette in Solstice (shade: Hemisphere). Too hot for a jacket

DSC_5474rediDSC_5473redi

Here’s what I wore Thursday June 7. It was actually too hot to wear a jacket that day, but this Pluto denim jacket is just so cute and it looked great with this outfit.

(Denim jacket – H&M, skirt + belt – second hand, T-shirt – WEEKDAY, sandals – VRS)

MAC limited edition collective haul

I’ve been collecting some limited edition MAC lipsticks + a face powder over the past couple of months, and I thought I would make one collective haul.

DSC_5223DSC_5220

The first lipsticks I bought was these adorable Nicopanda ones. The shades I’ve got are Kawaii Party and Nico Kiss and they’re both matte lipsticks. Kawaii Party is a beautiful lavender shade, and you know how I feel about purple lipsticks. Nico Kiss is a black navy. I haven’t worn it yet, but I think it’ll be great for a night out.

My most recent MAC purchases are two products from this year’s summer collection, Mirage Noir, and a lipstick from the Lunar New Year collection, which launched earlier this year.

DSC_5559

The MAC website sometimes have a 40 % off sale on their ‘goodbyes’, and this lipstick was a part of that sale. I thought about getting this matte dusty rose colour back when the collection first launched, so I’m excited about adding it to my collection.

It probably comes as no surprise that I chose the purple lipstick in this year’s summer collection. It’s called Beach Nut and it’s a matte deep purple. I also couldn’t resist the beautiful Pearlmatte Face Powder in the shade Mother O’ Pearl. So stunning!
