Asos 20% off + sale haul (January 2023)

I have an Asos haul to share with you today. All of these items were on sale, and there’s a mix of clothes, accessories, and make-up. Let’s begin with clothes.

I love a good sweater vest, and I’d had my eye on this one from Asos Design Men. I love a Disney print, and I think the green and blue looks great together.

You can never go wrong with a colourful T-shirt. This one is from JJXX.

Moving on to accessories. Topshop makes great shoes and great bags, and this multicoloured holographic bag is no exception.

I love a hat even though I don’t wear them all the time. This one from Asos Design, and I have actually already worn it. I wore it here.

This might be a slightly boring purchase, but man, I’ve worn this big black hair clip from Asos Design a lot!

Let’s just talk about all the jewellery pieces at once. I thought the Halloween selection from Asos Design was fun, and they were very heavily discounted. The golden, pearly earrings from SVNX are super pretty, and the little star and moon hoops with amethysts from Kingsley Ryan has come in very handy. The simple braided silver ring is also from Kingsley Ryan.

And now let’s move on to make-up. I picked up another e.l.f. Cosmetics No Budge shadow stick, and this one is in the shade Blue Steel. I’d heard great things about the Revolution Ultra Cream Bronzer, so I picked it up in the shade Light. I’d also heard good things about the Iconic London Super Smoother Blurring Skin Tint, however, the shade I picked up, which is Warm Fair, is not a great match for me.

How stunning is this Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Beautifying face palette – Light/ Medium! I’d been wanting it for a while, so I was very happy to get it on sale.

Lastly, I got two lip products from the Valentine’s Day launch from MAC. I picked up the Lady Danger lipstick, which is a shade I’ve always wanted to try, and it is stunning. I also picked up the Glow Play lip balm in Bouncing Bloom.

5 favourites – April

Another month has come to an end, and I can’t believe how quickly time flies by. I’m still enjoying my maternity leave, so I spend my days with my daughter, and it’s incredible to see her grow. We’re heading into the last month of spring, but I’m still longing for warmer spring weather. The days are longer and lighter, but it’s not particularly warm outside. Anyways, let’s talk about some of my favourite things from the month of April.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Holy Hydration! face cream: The past couple of years I’ve been a bit more interested in skincare and trying different products, and one product that is always a part of my daily skincare routine is a good moisturiser. At the moment, I’m using this one from e.l.f. and I’m really enjoying it. I got the fragrance free version, and I love the texture of the product. It has hyaluronic acid and peptide complex in it, which are ingredients I really like.

Tarte Sculpt Tape contour (shade: Cool Bronze): I’d heard great things about this contour wand, and that it’s supposed to be similar to the famous Charlotte Tilbury one. I haven’t tried the Charlotte Tilbury version yet, but I really like this Tarte one. It blends out so easily and looks really natural on the skin.

Colourpop custom face palette (pressed powders): Colourpop recently released a permanent line of pressed bronzer, pressed blushes, and pressed highlighters. You can buy them in individual cases or just in the pan so you can place them in an empty palette. As you can see, I did the latter. My palette contains one bronzer, three blushes, and two highlighters, and I travelled with this palette in the very beginning of the month, and it was the perfect travel face palette.

Maanesten earrings + necklace: I got this jewellery set for my birthday last year, and I’ve worn it a lot ever since, but especially this past month. The picture also shows a bracelet, but I’ve only been wearing the necklace and earrings, and I’ve been wearing those so often.

You (TV series): I watched the first season of You a few years ago, but it wasn’t until this past month that I finally decided to watch the rest, and I’m so glad I did. My two favourite seasons are season 2 and 3, and I’m excited for the 5th and final season, which I think will be released in 2024.

Collective haul (December)

I have a collective haul to share with you today. These are all items I purchased in December, so you’ve seen some of them already.

I only have these two (or three) pieces of clothing to show you, and I’ve already worn them. I purchased the red wrap dress to wear on Christmas Eve and I also needed some bigger tights (for my wider mum body). They’re both from Monki, and I’m wearing them here.

I have two pairs of shoes to share with you as well. I’ve recently discovered that I have a thing for pink shoes, but I mean how cute are those pink satin sling backs from Monki?! And if you think you’ve seen the green boots before on my blog, you’re not completely wrong, because I also own them in blue. They’re from Topshop, and I’ve been loving both the blue and the green pair.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; I love statement earrings. This fun mismatched pair is from Pieces.

The rest of the items in this haul are make-up products. It’s not the first face palette I’ve ever picked up from Physicians Formula, but the other one I had, I didn’t love, so I’ve decluttered it from my collection. This one is the Butter Dream Team face palette, which comes with two bronzers, two blushers, a highlighter, and a face powder. I’m really excited to try this palette out.

The other product I picked up from Physicians Formula is the Butter Donut bronzer in Sprinkles. The spinkles are an overspray, but I don’t mind that, and so far I actually quite like this bronzer. And it smells like coffee, which I love (btw, I really dislike the tropical scent of the original Butter bronzers).

I usually like Essence highlighters, so I had to pick up this Christmas themed one. It’s the Cookies For Santa baked highlighter in 01 Baked With Love.

I’m not particularly interesting in watching the new Avatar: The Way of Water film, but I thought this collab with NYX looked interesting. I picked up the Luminescent lip gloss in Ilu-Minate, the Biolume stick in Seagrass, and the Pandoran Paradise cheek palette.

Here’s a closer look at the products. I’ve only worn some of the blushes from the Pandoran Paradise cheek palette so far, and I liked them more than I thought I would.

Lastly, I got two lip products from MAC. I purchased another shade of the Powder Kiss liquid lipcolours. This one is limited edition from the 2022 holiday collection, and it’s called Spiked Cocoa. I also bought another shade of the Powder Kiss Velvet Blur Slim Sticks, and it’s in the shade Rose Mary. I’m excited to wear both of these.

Asos haul – including Black Friday

I have an Asos haul to share with you today. It’s a collective haul including things I purchased in the Black Friday sale.

The only clothing item I purchased was this pair of purple velvet joggers from Topshop. I wore them earlier this week, and they’re so comfortable; perfect to wear at home, when you’re on maternity leave.

I picked up two pairs of shoes. The blue boots are from Topshop as well, and I love them. I’ve already worn them several times, and they’re really comfy. They’re pretty much the perfect everyday boots. The pink metallic chunky Mary Janes are from Asos Design, and they’re so cute. I love a fun, chunky, yet comfy pair of shoes.

I also bought some earrings. All of these are from Asos design, and I just thought they were cute.

Let’s move on the make-up. These first four products are all from NYX. I picked up another Ultimate eye paint. This one is in the shade Calling All Allies, and it’s a pretty periwinkle shade. I also got two more Ultimate Glow Shots liquid eyeshadows. They’re in the shades 01 Blueberry Baller and 02 Kiwi Killa. The last NYX product I decided to try is the Smooth Whip matte lip cream in the shade Pillow Fight.

I’ve been wanting to try the e.l.f Cosmetics Power Grip primer for quite a while, and when I saw that it was back in stock on Asos’ website, I immediately put it in my basket. It’s a very effective gripping primer, and I do really like it so far.

Speaking of primers, I’m so glad I picked up the Huda Beauty Glowish Blur Jam silicone-free smoothing primer, because it’s been one of my go-to primers ever since I tried it for the first time. It’s has a very unique, smooth texture, and I love that it feels cooling on the skin.

For once, I purchased a couple of Benefit holiday sets/products. This is the Benefit Blush ‘n Brush Delivery set, which comes with a mini blush in the shade Terra Spark and a brush. How cute is that blush with the little reindeer ‘stamp’.

I also got the other holiday cheek palette from Benefit (I included the other one in this haul). This one is called the Cheek Party Package palette, and it includes two blushes, Shellie and Dandelion, and the Dandelion Twinkle highlighter. It’s just so pretty and super wearable.

The last few products in this haul are from Charlotte Tilbury. This is the Superstar Glow Mini Beauty Light Wand Duo, which comes with the Spotlight highlighter and the Pinkgasm blush. I’m really excited to try these.

And last, but most certainly not least, the Charlotte Tilbury Hypnotising Pop Shots eyeshadow in Cosmic Rocks. This is an expensive eyeshadow, but it’s oh so stunning, and I’m glad to have it in my collection.

Collective haul – clothes, shoes, and make-up (October) + Christmas clothes

I have a collective haul to share with you today. It’s a mix of clothes, shoes, and make-up, and most of the items were purchased in the October, but I’m also going to include the few Christmas clothing pieces I bought this year. Let’s begin with those.

I purchased three Christmas jumpers this year. This first one is from my local supermarket’s brand VRS. I thought the sequin snowman was cute.

I’ve already posted an outfit with this cardigan. It’s from Pieces.

I’ve also already posted a look with this Grinch sweatshirt. It’s from H&M, and I love the Grinch green colour of it.

Last Christmas clothing item I picked up this year are these leggings. They’re from a brand called JDY, and they’re super comfy.

Now let’s move on to the stuff I bought back in October. I got two cardigans from H&M. I don’t own a lot of cardigans, but I thought they would be practical to wear when breastfeeding.

I also purchased two shirts from H&M; a navy corduroy one and a denim one.

I also picked up two more nursing tops from H&M MAMA. I really like these nursing tops from H&M MAMA, and I got them in quite a few colours now.

When I saw these chunky silver platform heels from Monki, I knew I had to have them. They’re perfect for the party season, and I’ve already worn them to a family Christmas party.

I recently picked up these two pairs of bauble earrings from my local supermarket. I love festive earrings.

And now let’s talk make-up. I picked up four items from the Essence Pumpkins Pretty Please! autumn collection. I got the Pumpkins Pretty Please! eyeshadow palette in 01 Impressed, Blessed & Pumpkin Obsessed, the Pumpkins Pretty Please! colour-changing lip oil in 01 Pumpkin Kisses & Autumn Wishes, the Pumpkins Pretty Please! matte lipstick in 01 Sweeter Than Pumpkin Pie (which I wore here), and the Pumpkins Pretty Please! matte nail polish in 02 Autumn Leaves & Pumpkins, Please?.

How fun is this Shrek X I Heart Revolution collection? I picked up the Transformation lip balm in Transformation and two lipsticks in Donkey and Gingy. I wore Gingy earlier this month, and I really liked it.

I also got the Shrek X I Heart Revolution Gingy highlighter even though it’ll be two dark on me. But just look how cute it is!

Lastly, I have four indie eyeshadow palettes to share with you that I’m super excited about. I made my first ever purchase from GlossGods Cosmetics. I picked up two of their newer palettes; the Vintage Glam Remixed palette, which is a stunning purple palette, and the Look For Rainbows palette, which is a beautiful all shimmer palette. I’m so excited to play with these.

And the very last two palettes (and items) in this haul are the Oden’s Eye Christmas Eve palette and Merry Christmas palette, which I featured in my latest 5 favourites post, because they’re that good. I’ve falling in love with Oden’s Eye eyeshadows this year, and the colour stories of these particular two palettes really speak to me. They’re absolutely gorgeous, and the quality is amazing!

5 favourites – October

Happy Halloween! I can’t believe that October has already come to an end. It’s the month I’d been looking forward to almost all year, because it was the month of my due date, and therefore the month that I gave birth to my baby, who turned out to be a gorgeous little girl. I’m so excited for the months to come and to see my daughter grow. I’m also very excited about Christmas coming up soon; I can’t wait to start decorating and to wear my Christmas jumpers again (and to dress my baby girl in cute Christmas clothes). Most of my favourites this month are related to pregnancy and birth, though still fashion related, and even though I have several baby related favourites, I won’t be including those on the blog.

Navy flared leggings (H&M MAMA): I’ve been loving these super comfy flared leggings throughout the last part of my pregnancy, and they’re also what I wore to the hospital the day I gave birth.

Nursing tops (H&M MAMA): For the past two weeks (or just under) I’ve been loving these nursing tops. They just make breastfeeding a lot easier.

Fluffy slippers (Monki): I brought these slippers to the hospital, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve even continued to wear them at home; especially when I get up to breastfeed in the middle of the night.

Pandora necklace w. Disney pendants: I think this is my new favourite necklace. My parents gave it to me as a “new mum” present (the heart shaped Minnie Mouse pendant says “Mum”), and it’s so special to me.

Maybelline Instant Anti Age Perfector 4-in-1 Glow (shade: 00 Fair Light): I do have one make-up favourite this month. I’d been wanting to try this product for quite a while, and I’m not disappointed. It’s a similar product to the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter, but slightly more pigmented. It’s really pretty on the skin, and I kind of like the sponge applicator.

Asos haul (20% or 25% off everything)

This is an Asos haul from August. I got everything either 20% off or 25% off. It’s a mix of everything; clothes, shoes, accessories, and make-up.

I only have two clothing pieces to show you, and you’ve already seen me wear them in outfit posts. Both of these beautiful dresses are from COLLUSION.

I also purchased two pairs of shoes both from Asos Design. I’m really excited about the floral loafers; I think they’re so cute and perfect for autumn. The mule wedges are more summery, but I just loved the colours.

Let’s move on to accessories. I love a bucket hat, however I haven’t really worn them this past summer. I still thought this multicoloured one from Asos Design was cute. The sunglasses are also from Asos Design and so are three out of the four pairs of earrings as well. The last pair of earrings are from Vintage Supply. I just love fun sunglasses and earrings.

And now on to make-up. I haven’t heard or seen anything about the Rimmel Lasting Finish compact foundation, but I thought I would give it a try. I picked mine up in the shade 01 Fair Porcelain, and so far I really like this product. I also decided to get the I Heart Revolution x Disney Fairytale Jelly Eye Shimmer in Pua (from Moana) to try another formula of eyeshadow, however, I haven’t worn it on my eyes yet.

These last make-up products are probably the most interesting to me. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m really excited to try the MAC Fix+ Stay Over setting spray. I picked up the mini size. I’ve also been wanting to try the new MAC Powder Kiss Velvet Blur Slim Sticks and picked up the shade Devoted To Danger. I’m wearing it in my next make-up post, and I loved it. In my 5 favourites post that I posted yesterday, I featured the Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer, so you now how much I enjoy that product. And lastly, I picked up a couple more shades of the e.l.f. Cosmetics No Budge shadow sticks. They’re called Rich Amethyst and Copper Chic.

Collective haul (August)

It’s time for my collective haul from August. It’s mainly beauty products this time around, but I also wanted to include some jewellery that I got for my birthday.

I got this jewellery set from my parents for my birthday in August. It consists of a necklace, a charm bracelet and earrings, and it’s from the Danish jewellery brand Maanesten. You might have noticed me wearing these pieces in a couple of make-up posts. I love how dainty and pretty they are.

Before we get into make-up, let’s talk about tools. I love Real Techniques tools and decided to get the Prism Glo Shimmer eye kit, which I found on sale. It comes with seven brushes and a cleanse tin. I also got a new brush for my brows, because the one I had was super old and broken. I got the Kiko Milano Eyes 64 brow comb brush, and so far I have no complaints about it.

Then I also picked up some stuff from Lyko. From Essence I got the Make Beauty Fun highlighter in 01 Happiness Shines From Within and the Cute As Shell face glow booster in 01 You Shell Sea My Glow!. From Catrice I picked up a back-up of the All Matt Shine Control powder Healthy Look in 100 Fresh Neutral Beige, which I love, and I also got the All Matt Plus Shine Control powder in 002 Banana Bright. However, the most exciting item I purchased is probably the LH Cosmetics Shimmer Saga palette. It’s the first product I’ve ever purchased from LH Cosmetics, and I think I chose the perfect one to try out.

Here’s a closer look at the Essence highlighter and the Catrice powders.

It was really difficult to get a good picture of the LH Cosmetics Shimmer Saga palette, but it consists of four stunning shimmery duochrome/multichrome shades. It’s the perfect little companion palette.

On my quest to find fun cream, liquid etc. eyeshadows, I was very excited to try out the new NYX Ultimate Glow Shots liquid eyeshadows. I picked up the following three shades; 04 Grapefruit Glow, 07 Lemon Slayed, and 13 Plum Player. I’m wearing 07 Lemon Slayed and 13 Plum Player in these pictures, and I think they look very pretty, and they were also easy to work with. I might have already picked up a few more shades:)

I have some of the older, classic Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palettes, but I didn’t buy them, when they were the most popular, and I’ve never really gotten into them to be honest. However, I was intrigued by the new(er) Nouveau palette, and I’ve got to say that I’m really happy with this palette so far. I really like this new packaging, and the colour story is more interesting than a lot of the colour stories in the older palettes. I really like the formula of the shadows as well, so I’m excited to play with this palette some more.

The last item in this haul is the Made By Mitchell Where The Mangoes palette. There was something about this colour story that just drew me in. It also reminds me to pull out my other Made By Mitchell palettes, which are actually really good.

Collective haul (June)

My June collective haul is a slightly smaller one, and it’s mainly beauty products, but I thought that I would still share them with you.

First off, I purchased some products in the MAC summer sale. I got the Hit The Bull’s Eye Kit, which contains the 24-Hour Extend Eye Base, the Fast Response Eye Cream, and the Prep + Prime highlighter pen in the shade Bright Forecast. The only one of these products that I’ve tried so far is the Prep + Prime highlighter pen, but the shade is sadly a little dark on me. I’m excited to try the other two products though.

From MAC I also purchased the Prep + Prime Fix+ in Pinklite and the MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Soft Frost. This Fix+ has pink shimmer in it, and I thought it would be fun to try. The Extra Dimension Skinfinish is Soft Frost is a permanent shade that I’ve been wanting to try pretty much ever since it launched. It’s described as a white that breaks violet, and I thought that sounded really pretty, and it is.

I received this eye set and a tote bag as free gifts with my order. The eye set consists of the In Extra Dimension 3D Black Lash mascara, the Technakohl liner in Graphblack, and the Brow Set in Clear.

The original Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara is one of my favourite mascara, so I thought I would try out the newer Cosmic Black version. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m excited to do so.

The last item in the haul is not make-up, but this multipack of earrings from H&M. I think they’re super cute, and I’m pretty sure I’ve worn all of them at this point.

Collective haul (April)

It’s finally time for my collective haul from April. This haul consists of one clothing item and then the rest is accessories and make-up.

The one clothing item in this haul is this cute floral dress from H&M. I loved these kinds of smock dresses when I was younger, so I got a bit nostalgic when I saw this one and decided to pick it up.

Then I purchased some things from Asos. The two headbands are both by Asos Design, and the earrings are from Madein.

The two most exciting things I purchased from Asos though are the e.l.f. Cosmetics Halo Glow setting powder and the e.l.f Cosmetics Blemish Fighting Putty primer. I’d been wanting to try both of these products for a while, and as it turns out, I love both products.

The last products in this haul are all purchased from Beauty Bay. I was really intrigued by the Midnight and the Earthy palettes when they launched, so in April I purchased both 42 colour palettes as a set/duo at a really good price. I’m especially fond of the Midnight palette, as you might have noticed from recent make-up looks.

I also purchased the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beauty Killer 2 palette on sale. I actually like this colour story more than I thought I would.

I also purchased another Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Liner. This one is in the shade Warm Taupe, and it’s such a great shade.
