Dark greens

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I used the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette for the first time, and I was instantly drawn to the gorgeous green shades in the palette. This eye look turned out a lot darker than most of my eye looks, but I really like it.

Collective beauty haul

DSC_5597DSC_5595DSC_5437DSC_5687

I haven’t posted a collective beauty haul in a while, and I’ve collected some bits and pieces over the past couple of months. I’ve been wanting the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette ever since it launched, and it’s so good! The shadows are super pigmented, blends really well, and they last for ages on the eyes. I’ve also been wanting to try the Physicians Formula Butter bronzer and the Maybelline Instant Anti Age Eraser concealer for ages, and so far I really like both products. Essence is a really nice affordable brand, and I liked the green colours of the double-ended eyeliner pencil. I also bought two Stila products; I got another shade of the Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow liquid eye shadows (it’s in the shade Kitten Karma), and I found the Stay All Day lip liner on sale on Beautybay (it’s in the shade Sangria). I bought the L.A. Girl Perfect Precision lipliner, because it looked like a pinky purple, but it’s more of a light cool-toned pink. Lastly, I thought I would try out one of the Maybelline Master highlighters. This on is a holographic, prismatic one in the shade Opal, and even though it looks straight up white in the picture, it has a really nice pink shift to it.

Shimmer shimmer

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I usually opt for a matte lip especially when wearing shimmery eye shadows, but I think the subtle shimmer on the lips works well with this eye look.

(Base: primers – Benefit the POREfessional face primer + L’Oréal Lumi Magique Pure Light primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 05), powders – Wet n Wild MegaGlo contouring palette in Dulce De Leche (highlight shade) + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – Benefit Hoola bronzer, blusher – Milani powder blush in 01 Romantic Rose, highlighter – the Balm Mary-Lou Manizer. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Essence In Love With Rose eyeshadow box 02 & Happily Ever After (shades: 1. shade top row + 3. shade bottom row + 4. shade top row) + MAC Extra Dimension eye shadow in Stylishly Merry + MAC Nylon eye shadow, mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – Sephora Long lasting kohl pencil in 07 Infinite beige. Eyebrows – e.l.f. 5 favourites – June

Another month has come to an end and for me it was the last month of work before the summer holidays. The warm summer weather has returned, and the timing is perfect. I’ll be spending most of July with my family in my parents’ summer house/cottage, so I won’t be blogging everyday, but I’ll still try to blog as much as possible. Anyways, I had a lot of favourites in June, but I managed to pick five, so here they are.

Sort oversized denimjakke m. Pluto-mønster - H&M

Oversized denim jacket with Pluto print: I’m sure, I’ve expressed my love for everything Disney more than once, and this denim jacket is no exception. Denim jackets are my go-to outerwear in the summer, and this one is so cute and it makes every outfit a little more fun and quirky.

Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipstick in Anna Nicole: I rarely feature lip products in my favourites posts, because I wear and love so many different ones, but I had to mention this gorgeous bright orangy-red shade from my favourite liquid lipstick brand. It’s the perfect summer red.

jurassic-world-fallen-kingdom_r9ur2r

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (film): Having a huge dinosaur obsession, I was very excited about the newest addition to the Jurassic series, and I was not disappointed. It was a bit darker and creepier than the previous films, but I really liked that. Oh, and the dinosaurs were awesome.

That-70s-show-800x400

That ’70s Show (TV series): My dad has talked about this TV series for years, and when I discovered that all 8 season were on Netflix, I decided to give it a go. I’m very inspired by ’70s fashion and home decor, so I knew I would love those parts of the series, but as it turns out, I love everything else as well.

Excuse Me – Salvador Sobral (album): I’ve featured two Salvador Sobral songs in previous 5 favourites posts, and I finally bought his debut album from 2016. I’ve been listening to this album on repeat throughout the entire month of June; it’s so beautiful! The song above is one of my favourites from the album, and I would recommend that you give it a listen.

Matching neutrals

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. As much as I love colourful make-up, this outfit called for matching neutral make-up, and I love this kind of make-up look too.

(Base: primer – MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Illuminating Base (shade: Radiant Yellow), foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 05), powders – Wet n Wild MegaGlo contouring palette in Dulce De Leche (highlight shade) + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – Benefit Hoola bronzer, blusher – Milani powder blush in 01 Romantic Rose, highlighter – Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Eclipse. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Stila In the Light eye shadow palette (shades: Bare + Bliss + Sunset + Kitten) + MAC Nylon eye shadow, mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – Sephora Long lasting kohl pencil in 07 Infinite beige. Eyebrows – e.l.f. Clear Brow & Lash Mascara. Lips: Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipstick in Christmas Cookie)

Kawaii party

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I had a really hard time capturing the glitter on my eyelids in the pictures, but at least you can see how cute the MAC Nicopanda lipstick in the shade Kawaii Party is.

(Base: primers – Benefit the POREfessional face primer + L’Oréal Lumi Magique Pure Light primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 05), powders – NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette (shades: Soft Light + Cream) + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – Benefit Hoola bronzer, blusher – NYX Ombre Blush in Mauve Me, highlighter – Sleek Highlighting palette in Solstice (shade: Hemisphere). Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Zoeva En Taupe eye shadow palette (shades: Stitch By Stitch  + Gallery + Hour By Hour+ Sheers & Voiles + Spun Pearl), mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliners – Urban Decay Heavy Metal glitter eyeliner in Distortion + MUA Intense Glitter eyeliner in Jade Jewel. MAC limited edition collective haul

I’ve been collecting some limited edition MAC lipsticks + a face powder over the past couple of months, and I thought I would make one collective haul.

DSC_5223DSC_5220

The first lipsticks I bought was these adorable Nicopanda ones. The shades I’ve got are Kawaii Party and Nico Kiss and they’re both matte lipsticks. Kawaii Party is a beautiful lavender shade, and you know how I feel about purple lipsticks. Nico Kiss is a black navy. I haven’t worn it yet, but I think it’ll be great for a night out.

My most recent MAC purchases are two products from this year’s summer collection, Mirage Noir, and a lipstick from the Lunar New Year collection, which launched earlier this year.

DSC_5559

The MAC website sometimes have a 40 % off sale on their ‘goodbyes’, and this lipstick was a part of that sale. I thought about getting this matte dusty rose colour back when the collection first launched, so I’m excited about adding it to my collection.

It probably comes as no surprise that I chose the purple lipstick in this year’s summer collection. It’s called Beach Nut and it’s a matte deep purple. I also couldn’t resist the beautiful Pearlmatte Face Powder in the shade Mother O’ Pearl. So stunning!
