5 favourites – December

It’s (finally) the last day of the strangest year of my life (and probably everyone else’s lives too), and sadly it’ll still take a while before everything goes back to “normal”. However, many good things happended to me in 2020 as well, so the year wasn’t all bad. New Year’s Eve is not my favourite night, but this year I’m actually looking forward to spend time with my family, eat good food, and dress up. But before we jump into the new year, let’s say goodbye to the old one and to the month of December, which was actually a great month, with some favourites.

Red and white christmassy gloves: December has been a cold month, so gloves have been a necessity, and I’ve been wearing these festive gloves almost every day. They’re super soft and super warm.

Golden Christmas charm bracelet: One of my favourite pieces of Christmas jewellery this year has been this charm bracelet from H&M. I’ve mostly worn golden jewellery in December, so this bracelet came in very handy. It’s just so cute and festive.

BH Cosmetics Naughty shadow palette: I’ve discovered many amazing eyeshadow palettes in 2020, and this one from BH Cosmetics has to be one of my favourites. It might be a Christmas themed palette, but I’m going to continue to use this all year round.

Jeffree Star Velvet Trap lipstick (shade: The Perfect Red): Jeffree Star Cosmetics has some of the best red lipsticks in my opinion. The Velour liquid lipstick in Redrum has been my favourite lipstick for years, but this one is up there with my favourites. It really is the perfect red as the name suggests, and I love the formula too.

Green Book (film): I’d been wanting to watch this film ever since it released, and I finally got to do so in December, and it was even better than I thought it would be. This is a must watch film, and I’m sure it’s going to become a classic.

Essence Ho Ho Home for X-mas

I usually dont’ buy beauty advent calendars, but I thought this one from Essence looked really cute, so I decided to treat myself. Some of the products inside are very cute, and I’ll definitely use them, and other’s are more gimmicky I guess, but the calender as a whole is fun and cute.

Here are the first six items from the calendar: Mini Matt Fixing powder, mini lipsticks (01 Feel The Magic! and 02 Spread The Love!), mini eyebrow tweezer, nail stickers, gift tags, and eyeshadow brush. I love the packaging on all the items; it’s super festive and cute. Of the these items, I’ve used some of the nail stickers and the eyeshadow brush. I’m also excited to try the fixing powder and the lipsticks.

The next six items were a kajal pencil, nourishing hand cream, mini metallic nail polish, I Heart Extreme volume mascara, charm bracelet, and colour changing lip balm. I’ve worn the metallic nail polish and the lip balm, and I really like both.

The second to last six items were the following: Face jewels, glitter duo sharpener, mini high gloss top coat, eyebrow styler, hair ties, and glitter lip topper. These items are not that exciting to me apart from the glitter lip topper and maybe the high gloss top coat.

And here are the last six items from the calendar: Make up remover towel, mini nail polish, notebook, mini highlighter stick, body jewellery tattoos, and mini highlighter brush. I’m excited to try the make up remover towel, and the nail polish looks pretty too.

If Essence makes a calendar again next year, I might consider getting it. Not all items are usuable for me, but I loved opening it every day in December, and the items sure are cute and festive.

Collective haul: clothes, shoes, and accessories

I have a collective clothes, shoes, and accessories haul to share with you. I’ve collected these items over the past couple of months I believe, so it’s about time that I post this haul.

Let’s start with a couple of sweater vests. I’m still a fan of this trend, and I thought these two were so cute. The beige, black, grey, and cream one is from Stradivarius, and the purple and navy one is from Daisy Street (both purchased on Asos).

I know that this skirt is out of season right now, but I found it on sale on Monki’s website, and it’s just so pretty. It’s in the same style as this floral skirt, which I loved in the summer.

I have two more items from Monki in this haul. I love fun, cute socks, and these dark plum coloured socks with an embroidered orchid were just too cute to leave behind. Orchids are some of my favourite flowers by the way.

You have already seen me wear these brown animal print furry boots from Monki with this outfit. I was a little afraid that they would be uncomfortable, because of the hight of the heel, but they’re really not. I think I might get a lot of wear out of these.

And now on to another pair of boots. These chunky boots are from Asos, and I love the style and thought the colour was quite unique.

Here’s a couple of pretty, festive headbands; perfect for this time of year (or all year round if you are addicted to glitter and sparkles like I am).

Last up; jewellery. The ear studs with the bowls of confetti are from Flying Tiger, and I was obviously drawn to the confetti part. Not sure how I feel about the studs though. I’m loving the golden T-Rex earrings from Topshop though. Aren’t they just the cutest? And lastly, I’ve bought two rings from Asos. I love both of these rings, and I have already worn both of them so much.

Annual Christmas clothing/accessories haul pt. 2

It’s time for part 2 of my annual Christmas clothing/accessories haul. This part is all about socks, tights, jewellery, and hair accessories.

Let’s start with socks. I’ve purchased two sets of 5 pcs of Christmas socks. The first five pairs are from H&M and the next five pairs are from Monki, and they are all so cute.

I’ve also bought four single pairs of Christmas socks, and they’re all really cute too.

I’ve also gotten myself some Christmas tights from a supermarket; a pair with mistletoes and a pair with Santa hats. I’m really excited to wear these.

I found these gloves at my local supermarket a while back, and I just thought they were so nice and festive.

And now on to a bunch of jewellery. The brooch and these first three pairs of earrings are all from Flying Tiger, and I think they’re so much fun and very christmassy.

These pretty Christmas tree earrings are from my local supermarket.

All of these next pieces are from H&M. The ones with the red price stickers on them were on sale, and my guess is that they’re from last year, but that doesn’t matter to me. Just look at how festive these pieces are!

I have of course also purchased a few hair accessories. They are both supermarket finds.

And that was this year’s annual Christmas clothing/accessories haul. I’m so, so, so excited to wear christmassy outfits for the next month!

Big collective H&M haul pt. 2

It’s time for part 2 of my big collective H&M haul; the accessories.

It has definitely gotten colder outside, so I got a new scarf and a neck warmer. The scarf is of course purple or lilac, because as you know I’m obsessed with everything purple.

I’ve been wanting a pair of ear warmers like these ones for such a long time, and I’ve already worn them so many times.

I found this Mickey Mouse Fantasia reversible bucket hat in the men’s section, and I just thought it was really cute.

H&M has this 3 for 2 deal on tights, and I really wanted the Mickey Mouse tights (obviously), so I thought why not get two more pairs of tights. I actually got three more pairs since I got a 2 pack with a navy pair and a beige pair. The third pair of tights that I bought is a black pair with gold dots. I think they’ll be perfect for the holiday season.

I’ve also purchased a couple of festive headbands; a black sequins one and one with a big red velvet bow. I’m excited to wear both of these.

And last but not least, I’ve purchased some different fun earrings; a pair of sparkly snakes, and pair of sparkly eyes (which I actually wore in my last post), and a mix of fun gold hoops and studs (and a single earcuff).

Incredible rainbows

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I went with turquoise eyes to match the trousers and pink lips to match the blazer and top. Oh, and how incredible are those rainbow earrings!

Huge Asos haul part 2

Here’s part two of my latest Asos haul; the jewellery and hair accessories.

I’ve started to wear more golden jewellery, and I’ve been wanting to add some golden rings (anyone else humming “12 Days of Christmas” when hearing or reading golden rings?), and thought this one from Asos’ own brand was fun. I’ve actually worn it quite a few times already.

These earrings are by the brand Kingsley Ryan, and they are so pretty. I’ve actually already posted a look featuring these earrings (look here).

I’m still not over headbands and big hair clips. All six pieces are from Asos’ own brand.

I know this is not a piece of jewellery or a hair accessory, but I thought I would show you this Coca Cola key ring anyways, because it’s so cute. It’s by the brand Typo, which makes lots of cute and fun items.

Big collective clothing and accessories haul

I’ve been doing quite a bit of shopping lately (as per usual), and I’ve collected items from different brands and thought I would put them all in this one big collective haul. So here goes.

Let’s start with Monki and corduroy trousers. I’ve purchased three new pairs of corduroy trousers, all from Monki. I first bought the dark green pair, because I thought they would be perfect for autumn (and also for December paired with Christmas jumpers!). It didn’t take me many days before I ordered the purple ones too. I’ve been wanting a pair of purple corduroy trousers for quite a while, and these are perfect. I’m actually wearing them right now:) And the last pair of corduroy trousers I’ve purchased is a pair of dark yellow/orangy ones that I found on sale. They’re very autumnal too.

I also purchased this roll neck top from Monki. I just loved the print and colours, and I actually think it would look great paired with all three pairs of corduroy trousers.

The last item from Monki is this argyle sweater vest. Sweater vests are a huge trend right now, and I’m all aboard with this trend.

And now on to H&M and three long sleeve tops. You know that I can’t resist clothing with Disney print, and the navy and cream stripy top with the little embroidered Mickey Mouse is just so cute. The black and white striped fitted roll neck top is a great stable in any autumn/winter wardrobe, and the black and white houndstooth printed roll neck top is also great for colder weather.

I’ve also bought three pairs of earrings from H&M. The rainbow pair just screamed my name: I mean, just look how fun they are! And my obsession with purple is continuously growing, so I added two different pairs of purple hoops to my ever growing earring collection.

I have three pieces left to show you. First off is another argyle sweater vest. This one is from a brand called Soyaconcept. I found it very randomly on sale, and it was too good to leave behind.

The last two items are both Disney-related. This Mulan T-shirt is from PULL&BEAR, and I obviously love the print and also the warm colours of the print.

And last, but certainly not least, I’ve purchased the cutest Mickey and Minnie Mouse sneakers from Bershka. As you can see Minnie is on the right shoe with the yellow detail, but Mickey is on the left shoe with the green detail. How cute is that!

Asos shoes and accessories haul

I have little Asos shoes and accessories haul to share with you today. If I don’t mention the brand of an item, then it’s from Asos’ own brand.

I first saw these colourful loafers on Megan Ellaby, and I knew I had to have them. There’s an Elton John vibe to them, I think, and I’m not mad about that.

These might be the perfect autumn shoes. I love the brown suede and the chunky heel. They’ll be perfect for ’70s inspired outfits.

How cute are these pink gingham heels. I’m really excited to style these.

These purple mules from Public Desire are in the same style as these aqua-blue ones, and I really like both pairs. I really want them in brown and in pink as well.

I haven’t had a pair of Converse All Stars in quite a while, but I fell in love with these rainbow striped ones, and I’ve already worn them quite a bit.

Apparently, I have a thing for pearl bags, and I just couldn’t resist this purple and white one from Skinnydip.

As a lipstick wearer, this little pink lipstick holder was hard to pass on.

Another item with Elton John vibes. These sunglasses are from a brand called SVNX and I love the shape and all the rhinestones.

The last item in this haul is this little golden bracelet with a multicoloured rhinestone shell pendant, which I just thought was really cute and dainty.
