5 favourites – September

Another month has flown by, and we’re now another month closer to December:) The weather has become more autumnal, and I really don’t mind it. I love dressing in autumn, because you can start to layer. There’s also a lot of great textures and colours in autumn fashion, so I’m feeling very inspired when it comes to putting together outfits these days. I do also have a couple of fashion related favourites this month though the might not be particularly autumnal.

Hvide chunky sneakers m. lyserøde, grå og karrygule detaljer - Topshop

Chunky sneakers: Sneakers are my go-to kind of shoes, and these chunky ones from Topshop has been my favourite pair this past month. They’re super comfortable, and I love the slightly odd colour combination.

Trollbeads forandringsring

Trollbeads ring of change: I bought this ring with some money I got as a graduation present (when I got my master’s degree), and I’ve been wearing it a ton. I love that you can costumise it to match your outfit by changing the bead.

Half updo with big hair clip: I featured big hair clips in my July favourites, and I still love them and wear them all the time. This past month, I’ve mainly worn them in this half updo fashion. It’s just such an easy and quick way to do your hair, and it looks cute.

Coco (film): I finally got to watch Disney’s Coco, and I absolutely loved it! I loved the story, the music, and the scenery and colours of the film are gorgeous. I don’t know how Disney does it, but they sure make the best animated films.

Record player: I’d been wanting a record player for a while, and I was very lucky to get one for my birthday last month. I’ve been buying old records at second hand stores, and I’ve been listening to them almost every day, since I got the recond player.

Amethyst

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I hadn’t worn this type of bright purple lipstick in a really long time, but it’s such a fun colour. I love the way it looks paired with the green eye shadow on the lower lash line.

A rare monochrome-ish look

DSC_5968DSC_5969

Here’s what I wore Thursday September 6. I rarely wear monochrome-ish outfits, but it does happen every now and again. To add just a bit of colour to the look, I wore a red lip and a red hair clip (red is my favourite pop of colour).

Another H&M haul

It’s been about a month since my last H&M haul, and it’s time for another one.

Hvid T-shirt m. Friends logo - H&M

This T-shirt was actually a birthday present. I love Friends and I love graphic tees, so this is right up my street.

Rød off-shoulder top m. blomster - H&M

Even though summer is over, I thought this red, floral, off-shoulder top was really pretty. I probably won’t get much use out of it right now, but I’ll just save for next year.

Mørkeblå sweater m. rød, hvid og lysegrå julemønster - H&M

This, on the other hand, will be very appropriate in a few month’s time. If you didn’t now, I’m obsessed with Christmas jumpers, and I thought about getting this one last year, but some reason I didn’t. Until now. I found it on sale on H&M’s webpage, and I can’t wait to wear it in December.

Brune fløjlsbukser m. vide - H&M

Remember the pink corduroy trousers, I featured in my last H&M haul? Well, I had to have the brown ones too. They are so ’70s, and I can’t wait to style these.

Sorte højtaljede bukser m. vide - H&M

I’ve also bought a pair of black wide-led trousers. They have a old-fashioned look to them, and they’ll be interesting to style.

Sort beret - H&M

Lastly, I bought a black beret. I had a black beret years ago, but I lost it and never found it again, so now a have a new one.

Collective haul: clothes

It’s time for the second part of my collective haul; these are some clothes I’ve bought recently.

Beige baggy bukser m. lynlåse - second hand

As you might have noticed, I love second hand shopping. I love the fact that you never know what you’re going to find, and due to the inexpensive prices, you can try out a lot of different styles without breaking the bank. One of my most recent second hand purchases is this pair of trousers. They are very different from anything I own, but I thought they would be fun to style. I’ll be posting an outfit featuring them soon.

Mørkegrå lang blazer m. beige striber - second hand

When I’m second hand shopping, I’m always looking for blazers. In the store where I also found the trousers, I found this long pinstriped blazer. I love the dark grey colour with the camel pinstripes, and it has shoulder pads which is always a plus.

Bordeaux, sort og hvid stribet T-shirt m. glimmer - MonkiBrun og lyseblå stribet T-shirt m. glimmer - Monki

I’m obsessed with stripy T-shirts, and I couldn’t resist these two from Monki. They both have glitter (how great is that!), and I love the colour schemes. The second T-shirt with the brown and blue stripes will be a perfect match for a pair of trousers that I’ll feature in my next haul.

Monki strømper (regnbue, grøn, bordeaux)

Lastly, I bought some fun socks. I love colourful, fun socks, and Monki has some of the best ones. I couldn’t leave behind the rainbow glitter ones, and I love the plain coloured ones as well.

Blue party eyes

Here’s the make-up I wore with this party outfit. I decided to wear a fun, blue eye shadow look and paired it with a bit more muted lip colour, and I love it!

(Base: primer – Wet n Wild CoverAll primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Instant Anti Age Eraser concealer (shade: 00 Ivory), powders – Wet n Wild MegaGlo contouring palette in Dulce De Leche (highlight shade) + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – Benefit Hoola bronzer, blusher – Milani powder blush in 01 Romantic Rose, highlighter – Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Ice Cold. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Jeffree Star Thirsty palette (shade: Parched) + Jeffree Star Beauty Killer palette (shades: Courtney + Expensive) + MAC Nylon eye shadow, mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – Gosh Velvet Touch eyeliner in 001 Blue Moon. Eyebrows – Benefit Gimme Brow volumizing brow gel in 03 Medium + e.l.f. Dressed up and comfortable

DSC_5958DSC_5957

Here’s what I wore Saturday night September 1. It’s not very often that I have the opportunity or time to take party outfit pictures, but this is what I wore at a dorm party two weeks ago (I might not live in a dorm anymore, but I can still attend dorm parties right). I love dressing up for parties, but at the same time I want to feel comfortable in whatever I wear, and I felt very comfortable in this outfit.
