Black skirt suit

DSC_0182DSC_0183

Here’s what I wore Tuesday March 31. It’s very unlike me to wear an outfit this dark/black, but I had a lot of fun putting together my own skirt suit; the blazer and skirt look like an actual matching set. To make the outfit a little less black, I decided to wear silver glitter tights, snake print loafers, and a grey checked beret.

(Beret + tights – H&M, blazer + blouse + skirt + belt – second hand, loafers – Asos)

Another Zalando haul

I’ve picked up a few different pieces from Zalando recently that I thought I would share with you.

Lyseblå T-shirt m. Hercules print - Bershka

Hercules is my favourite Disney film, so I just had to have this T-shirt from Bershka.

Sort T-shirt m. Mulan print - Cotton On

And here’s another Disney T-shirt I just had to buy. This awesome Mulan T-shirt is from a brand called Cotton On.

Hvide sneakers m. sort Mickey Mouse print - Bershka

We’re not done with Disney themed items yet. These chunky sneakers are also from Bershka, and I think that they’re so cute.

Gennemsigtige plast pumps m. spænde og trekantet hæl - BEBO

These clear BEBO heels are the closest Amina Muaddi dupe that I’ve found. They’re very similar to her Begum style, but these are obviously way more affordable.

Sort skuldertaske m. Mickey Mouse print - Kidzroom

The black H&M belt bag that I featured in my february favourites was actually too small for everyday use, so when I saw this Mickey Mouse bag from a brand called Kidzroom, I thought it would be perfect for a new everyday bag, and so far it is.

Topshop øreringe m. sten

This last item (or items) in this haul is this pretty set of six earrings from Topshop. I love that they’re miss-matched, so you can wear them in all different kinds of combinations.

Marty McFly

Here’s what I wore Monday March 30. Ever since I purchased the red puffer vest, I’ve been wanting to style an outfit inspired by Marty McFly from Back to the Future, and this is the outfit I came up with.

(Denim jacket – Pimkie, puffer vest + shirt + belt – second hand, jeans – H&M, sneakers – Nike)

Comfy dress

DSC_0142DSC_0143

Here’s what I wore Friday March 27. I really wanted to wear my grandmother’s dress again and this time I wore it with a different roll neck top and my snake print knee high boots, which I was desperate to style again as well.

(Dress – made by my grandmother, roll neck top – H&M, boots – Asos)

Collective haul

Here’s a few different items I’ve collected over the past month or so.

Lyserød regnfrakke - VRS

How cute is this baby pink raincoat! I found it on sale at my local supermarket, and thought it would be a nice addition to my spring coat collection.

Sort bøllehat - H&M

I’ve been wanting to try out the bucket hat trend for a while, and I’ve finally purchased one. This is just a plain black one from H&M.

Hot pink bredt taljebælte - H&M

I love pink, and pink is really trendy right now. So are belts, and this big, pink waist belt from H&M really spoke to me.

Pastelfarvede strømper

Pastel socks from H&M. A no brainer purchase for me.

Pink velour pumps m. perler og trekantet hæl - Asos

In this haul, I wrote about my obsession with Amina Muaddi shoes and especially her characteristic heel design. Asos came through again with another great dupe in these pink velvet beauties. Maybe I should just wear these around my apartment, now that I have nowhere to go.

Maybe more androgyny

DSC_0123DSC_0124

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I used a couple of shades from the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Androgyny eyeshadow palette, which is my least used Jeffree Star palette. I really like how this look turned out though, so maybe I should bust out the Androgyny palette more often.

’70s vibes in a suit

DSC_0139DSC_0141

Here’s what I wore Thursday March 26. I really wanted to wear this amazing corduroy suit again, and I decided to style it with a graphic T-shirt (Lady and the Tramp) and some awesome high heeled loafers to add to the ’70s vibes of the suit.

(Blazer + trousers – Monki, T-shirt – New Look, loafers – Mango)

Great matches

DSC_0105DSC_0107

Here’s what I wore Wednesday March 25. I wanted to wear this long denim skirt again and thought this stripy jumper and red accessories were great matches.

(Jumper – Monki, skirt – H&M, tights – VRS, boots – Even&Odd)

5 favourites – March

This has been a very strange, very different month. For the whole world sadly. I’ve been working from home for the past 2,5 weeks, and let me tell you, I really miss going to work. I’m a teacher and I love teaching, but virtual teaching is not to be preferred in my opinion. But it’s better than no teaching at all. I haven’t written much about the current situation at all, and I’m not going to, but I have mentioned that I still get properly dressed and do my make-up every day to stay sane. In fact, I’ve actually been very inspired when it comes to outfits and make-up looks, and I have discovered some new favourites in those departments. So here goes; March favourites.

Topshop hoops

Flat hoop earrings: These flat hoops (I guess you can call them that) from Topshop has without a doubt been my most worn earrings this past month. I always love a good hoop, but there’s something I really like about these ones that makes me wear them all the time.

DSC_9961

Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory): I very rarely find new foundations that I like as much as my favourite Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation, but I think I like this one (also by Maybelline) almost as much as the Fit Me one. It’s the only foundation I’ve been wearing since I did my first impressions one it, and that says a lot.

DSC_9877

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blood Lust palette: Another Jeffree Star palette, another winner. It’s really hard to beat the JS eyeshadow formula in my opinion, and purple is my favourite colour (and I’m loving purple eyeshadows at the moment), so this is just what I needed in my eyeshadow palette collection.

DSC_9648

MAC Glow Play blush (shade: Grand): This new blush formula from MAC feels like a mix between a powder blush and a cream blush. I’m usually not into cream blushes, but I love this one. The texture, colour, and finish are all stunning.

Luther tv show

Luther (TV series): Now that I’ve had more time on my hands, I’ve also had time to start watching a new TV series, so my boyfriend and I have started watching Luther, and we’re really into it (at least I know I am). We are at season 3 now, and it just gets more and more intense. If you like crime series, this is a good one.

Just as great

DSC_0097DSC_0094

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Orange and turquoise/teal look just as great together in a make-up look as they do in an outfit.

(Base: primers – Wet n Wild Photofocus face primer matte + MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Illuminating Base (shade: Radiant Yellow), foundation – Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory), powders – e.l.f. HD Undereye setting powder in Sheer + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent). Face make-up: bronzer – Maybelline City Bronzer in 100 Light Cool, blusher – MAC Peaches powder blush, highlighter – MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Postmodernist Peach. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Jeffree Star Jawbreaker palette (shades: Virgin + Cone + Cute + Jawbreaker), mascaras – L’Oréal Paradise Extatic mascara + L.A. Girl Volumatic mascara (shade: Turquoise), eyeliner – LA Girl Shockwave Neon Liner (shade: Fresh). Eyebrows: e.l.f. Brow Pencil (shade: Neutral Brown) + e.l.f. Clear Brow & Lash Mascara. Lips: Jeffree Star Velour lip liner in Allegedly + Lime Crime Unicorn lipstick in October)
