Asos haul – shoes, accessories, and make-up

It’s time for another Asos haul. This haul is a mix of shoes, accessories, and make-up.

I’ve purchased two pairs of Converse. These ones are the Chuck Taylor Lift Sunshine sneakers, and I just love the colours. They’re so perfect for ’70s inspired looks.

The other pair that I got are the Run Star Hike pride sneakers. I’ve been wanting a pair of Run Star Hike sneakers, and this rainbow version seemed perfect. They’re so fun and comfortable.

Let’s move on to accessories. I picked up these gold coloured bracelets from Asos’ own brand, because I always seem to miss gold coloured bracelets in my jewellery collection. I’ve worn all of these, and I really like them.

These are the rest of the accessories – all from Asos own brand. My favourites are the lime earrings and the dinosaur key ring (which I’ve been using as a bag charm).

For make-up I’ve got two I Heart Revolution x Disney collections to share with you. The first one is the I Heart Revolution x Disney Fairytale Books palette, heart highlighter, and lipgloss in Ariel/The Little Mermaid.

The palette looks like and opens like a book, and on the left side you get three blushers and three highlighters, and on the right side you get 18 eyeshadows.

And here’s a closer look at the heart highlighter; so pretty.

The second I Heart Revolution x Disney collection that I got is the The Aristocats Marie collection. I picked up the eyeshadow palette and two highlighters.

This is what the palette looks like on the inside. It’s so cute with the little paw prints in the matte eyeshadows.

The two highlighters are called Duchess (a light gold) and Beloved (a light pink). They’re both very pretty. There will be more Disney make-up in upcoming hauls:)

Collective clothing haul: H&M, Zara, Asos, second hand

It’s been a while since the last time I did a clothing haul, so I guess it was about time. This is a collective clothing haul with items from H&M, Zara and Asos, and I also have a few second hand pieces to share with you.

Let’s start with the pieces I purchased from H&M. You’ve already seen the H&M x Lee denim jacket, because I featured it in my 5 favourites post from June. It is still my go to jacket these days. I also purchased the matching jeans. They are described as loose fit mom jeans.

From H&M I also picked up this grey-black oversized T-shirt w. a neon Coca Cola print.

Let’s move on to the Zara pieces now. I purchased another Disney T-shirt dress, because they’re just so cute.

And it was not the only Disney item that I purchased from Zara. I also got this cute Mickey and Pluto T-shirt.

The last few things I bought from Zara were a bucket hat and some letter brooches. You might guess that these letters are significant to me.

In this Asos haul, I featured a pair of pastel patchwork joggers from Daisy street, but they didn’t have the matching sweatshirt at the time. They eventually got the sweatshirt, so I had to purchase, so I would have another matching sweatsuit.

And speaking of matching sweatsuits, in that same haul I featured a New Girl Order x Hello Kitty sweashirt, and now I’ve purchased the matching joggers for that sweatshirt, so I actually have two matching pastel sweatsuits.

*NSYNC is my favourite boyband, so I had to have this T-shirt from Reclaimed Vintage.

The last item I bought from Asos is a pair of sandals. These rhinestone sandals are from Asos’ own brand, and I really like them, however my Tevas have stolen the spotlight when it comes to sandals, so I haven’t worn these as much as I thought I would.

Lastly, I have a few second hand pieces to show you. These are the first pieces I purchased after the country slowly started to open up again. One of the pieces is this dusty blue blazer. The fabric is quite interesting, and I love the embroidery.

I also bought this burgundy leather jacket. I’ve never been a leather jacket kind of person, but there was something I liked about this one.

And last but not least, I found these black, white, and red loafers in a second hand store and thought they were kind of fun. And I’ve been seeing loafers everywhere lately, so I guess they’re in style.

5 favourites – June

I can’t believe that the first summer month has already gone by, but at least we’ve had some lovely summer weather lately. My summer holiday officially begins in a few days, and I so excited to get some time off. Other than being a great month weatherwise, June was also a great month when it comes to favourites. I have so many favourites this month, and it was really difficult to narrow them down to just five, but these are my picks.

H&M x Lee denim jacket: I don’t think I’ve hauled this denim jacket yet (and there are more items in this post that I haven’t hauled yet, because I’m so behind on hauls), but this has been my go-to jacket this past month. I’ve worn is several days a week, and it’s just such a good length/fit and wash.

Multicoloured Teva sandals: I haven’t hauled these sandals yet either, but they’re a more recent purchase. I needed a pair of comfortable flat sandals that I could actually walk in, and I’d heard that Teva sandals were really comfortable, and they are. I’ve worn these almost daily since I got them a couple of weeks ago, and they might not be the prettiest sandals, but I don’t care. Comfort wins in this case. And I do think that they’re kind of cute with the different coloured straps.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze: And here’s yet another product I haven’t hauled yet, but which I enjoy so much that I had to feature it. In my May favourites, I featured a soapy brow styler from Essence, and I do still really like that product, but the ABH Brow Freeze is better. It might be a pretty pricey product, but a little product goes a long way, and it’s so convenient and easy to use, and it makes the brows look great, so I think it’s worth it.

Luca (film): I watched two new Disney films this month; Raya and the Last Dragon and Luca. Even though I liked Raya and the Last Dragon, Luca is the one that stole my heart. I didn’t really have any expectations to the film, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how good it actually was. It’s the perfect summer animated film.

Zitti E Buoni – Måneskin (song): I’ve expressed my love for Eurovision several times, so I was excited to watch the contest this year after the break last year do to the pandemic. There were more than one entry I would be happy to see win the contest (Iceland and Switzerland were among my favourites), but Måneskin from Italy were the perfect winners. I love their winning song and their sound and look in general, so much so that I purchased their album Teatro d’ira: Vol. I, which is great too. As a Dane, I also enjoy that their band name is the danish word for moonlight.

Rather large collective Monki haul

It’s time for a rather large collective Monki haul. There are a lot of great pieces in this haul that I’m really excited about.

First off, I have a couple of co-ords to show you. I love a good co-ord or matching set, and this blue and white checked denim one is so cute. The jeans are wide leg and slightly cropped, which I love, and the jacket is cropped, which is not my go-to style of jacket, but it’s perfect with the jeans.

I think my heart skipped a beat, when I first saw this amazing floral co-ord. The floral pattern is so beautiful and bold, and I love the colours! I’ve worn this co-ord a couple of times already, and I loved wearing it.

I’ve purchased two more blazers (as if I don’t have enough blazers already). I’d been looking at the pink corduroy blazer for a while and decided to get it, when I found it on sale. The beige checked blazer is one of my newest purchases in this haul, and it was also on sale.

The last two tops in this haul are a white balloon sleeve button up shirt and a plain green T-shirt. A white button up shirt is a classic piece, and I really liked the subtle details on this one. And I already have a few other solid coloured plain T-shirts from Monki that I really like, so I decided to add this green one to my collection. These T-shirts are so soft.

The last pair of trousers in this haul are these purple stretchy corduroy/velvet cropped trousers. I’ve just been wearing these at home as loungewear, and they’re really comfy.

I’ve purchased four summer dresses, and I’ve already worn three of them. The dress I haven’t worn yet is the first one, which is in the same print as the floral co-ord set, as you can see. It’s so pretty, and I think I’m going to wear it for a special occasion in August. The blue floral dress is similar style wise to the first dress, and I wore the blue one to a graduation celebration two days ago. The white floral dress which is a button up shirt style of dress is the dress I’ve gotten the most wear out of so far. It’s the most comfy, flowy summer dress. The only drawback about this dress is that it shrunk after being washed. I can still wear it, because it’s a loose fitting dress, but I did like it better when it was a bit longer and less fitted. The last dress is a different style to the others, but I really like that one as well. The fabric is a little sheer, but I’ve just worn a white bra and white biker shorts underneath.

Monki makes very cute socks, and these are the two newest pairs in my wardrobe; a light green and white pair with flowers and a lilac pair with ruffles.

And last, but not least, I have purchased three pairs of shoes from Monki, and I love all of them. In a March Zalando haul, I featured a pair of denim boots from Monki, which I also featured in my May 5 favourites, and I love those denim boots so much that I decided to get a pair of denim mules for summer. I also got a pair of cow print mules, which are so cute and comfortable. And the last pair of shoes is a recent purchase. When Monki started showing these black chunky Mary Janes on the models on their website, I started keeping an eye out for them. When they initially went up on the website they were immediatly sold out in my size, but I kept checking the website the following days, and a couple of days later they were back in my size, and I was one happy girl.

5 favourites – May

The last month of spring is coming to an end and by tomorrow it’ll officially be summer (if you ask the calendar). We are finally getting some warmer weather in Denmark as well, so it’s great timing. Anyways, let’s just get to it. Let’s talk about some favourites from the month of May.

Denim lace up boots: I was not sure how I would feel about these denim lace up (with a zipper on the side) boots from Monki when I first purchased them, but I love them. Denim is a neutral to me, so these boots are perfect for when you feel that neither black, white, or brown shoes go with your outfit.

NYX The Marshmellow primer: I’m sure that I’m not the only one who’s been enjoying this sweet-smelling primer from NYX. It’s popular for a reason; it feels nice and smooth on the skin and it smells great too. It hasn’t only been a favourite of mine for the past month, but for several months now, so I thought it was time to feature it in a favourites post.

Essence Lash Princess false lash effect mascara: I’ve been discovering so many great mascaras lately, this Essence mascara being another one. I’d heard great things about this mascara for years, and I’m so glad that I finally decided to try it. I’ll be posting my first impressions on it at some point where I’ll get in to more details about it.

Essence #pinkandproud Strong soapy brow styler (01 Stronger Than Yesterday!): It’ll still be a while before I get around to posting the haul that includes this soapy brow styler, but I had to include it in this post, because I’ve been loving it. It’s the first soap brow product I’ve tried, and there are probably better ones out there, but I’m still so impressed by the brow look I can create with this, and you can’t beat the price tag!

Kingsman: The Secret Service (film): I’d heard the name of this film, but hadn’t really any idea of what it was really about other than being a spy film, but I was pleasantly surprised by the over the top comedy sequences, and the cast is incredible. I also watched the sequel, and I really liked that one too, but the first one is my favourite. If you like action and comedy together, give this film a go. You won’t regret it.

H&M haul: Lee collab and more

It’s time for a collective H&M haul. It consists of a bit of everything.

Let’s start with the pieces I purchased from the Lee collaboration. I puchased the ’90s wide ultra high waist jeans, the lilac T-shirt, the white T-shirt, and the denim bucket hat. These items are my kind of basics.

I’ve also purchased another pair of jeans. These are a pair of mom jeans with the cutest Mickey Mouse print on them.

I’m really longing for spring and summer, but I’ve only purchased a few spring/summer pieces so far. One of the more summery pieces that I’ve bought is this brown tank top. I puchased a dark yellow tank top and a lilac tank top from H&M last year, and I loved wearing those throughout spring and summer, so I wanted to add this brown one to my spring/summer wardrobe this year.

I’ve purchased two pairs of shoes. I’ve been wanting a pair of white heeled sandals since last summer, and I love this pair from H&M. I found the beige boots in the sale, and even though they’re very simple, they’re very flattering.

Besides the Lee denim bucket hat, I’ve also bought these three hats. I love the black pork pie hat; it’s just such a fun style. The beige wide brim hat is fun too, and the white bucket hat is super cute and summery.

Last, but not least, I got some more pastel coloured socks, because you can never have too many of those:)

5 favourites – March

Another month in lock down has gone by. However, the country has started to slowly open up again, and I went physically to work twice last week, which was great. Working from home isn’t all that fun, but right now I’m in the middle of my easter holiday which I’ve been looking forward to the whole month. Anyways, I had many favourites in March, and it was difficult to narrow them down to five, but here are my picks.

Black chunky boots: The only times I’ve been leaving my apartment these past four months have been to go for a walk, to pick up a parcel, or to go grocery shopping, and for all those occasions my shoes of choice has been these black chunky boots from PULL&BEAR. I really miss wearing all of my shoes, but I have enjoyed wearing these boots a lot.

Essence Brighten Up! Banana powder in 10 Bababanana: I haven’t gotten around to hauling this product yet, but I wanted to feature it anyways, because I’ve been loving this powder to set my under eyes. My favourite undereye setting powder from e.l.f. has been discontinued I think (at least I can’t find it anywhere), so I’ve been on the hunt for alternatives, and this is a great alternative + it’s super affordable too.

BH Cosmetics Blueberry Muffin eyeshadow palette: I know, another product I haven’t hauled yet, but this palette is amazing, so I had to feature it. I’ll show you the inside another time, but the shades are a mix of blues and neutrals, and it is stunning. BH Cosmetics has definitely been on my radar since they released the Naughty palette for holiday 2020.

EOS Toasted Marshmellow lip balm: I love the EOS lip balms, and I’ve had the Toasted Marshmellow one lying around for ages, so when I used up my Vanilla Bean one (which might still be my favourite scent), I started using the Toasted Marshmellow one, and it smells so good. Do I need to say that I love the colour of the packaging as well?

Ear Bisquits (podcast): I had never been listening to podcasts before this month, and I’m really enjoying it. My favourite so far is Ear Bisquits by Rhett and Link, and I knew that I would enjoy this one, because Good Mythical Morning is my favourite Youtube channel. I’m really excited to be listening to more podcasts in the future.

Big collective Zalando haul

I have a rather large collective Zalando haul to share with you. There’s a bit of everything; clothes, shoes, and one bag. Let’s start with the clothes.

I’ve had my eye on this pink and beige checked oversized blazer from Monki for a long time, and when I found it on sale, I decided to finally get it. I love the colours and I love the oversized fit. It’s a perfect spring blazer.

I really like pastels at the moment actually, and this little sweater vest from Stradivarius was just too cute not to buy.

Here’s another piece from Stradivarius with some slightly brighter pastel colours. And of course it has a Disney print. On the back of the T-shirt there’s a picture of Mickey and Minnie from the back, and it says Minnie as well.

I know, I know. Christmas is long over, but I like to buy Christmas jumpers on sale, and I didn’t have one with a gingerbread house on it. It’s from Vero Moda.

Other than pastels, I’m also obsessed with sequins and anything sparkly to be honest. This sequins set (purchased separately) is from Monki, and it’s beautiful. I can’t wait for the day I get to wear this.

I just received these pastel coloured cropped jeans from Bershka, and they might be the perfect spring jeans.

I talked about my love for coloured tights before, and I was very happy to find a teal pair and brown pair from the brand Lindex. I love how my collection of colourful tights is growing.

And now on to shoes. I haven’t bought a new pair of sneakers in quite a while, but I fell in love with these pastel coloured (last pastel item in this haul, I promise) sneakers from Buffalo. I don’t have any other shoes from Buffalo, so I wasn’t sure about the sizing, but my regular size in sneakers were too big, so I went down one size, and they fit. I wore them the other day, and they were really comfortable.

BEBO is a really affordable shoe brand that among other things makes great dupes of the Amina Muaddi style heels that I’m obsedded with (and you’ll see another pair of those in a few seconds). However, the brand also makes other fun shoes like these clear pumps with the most beautiful heels that are made out of what looks to be big beads. I’m so ready to go to a bunch of parties!

And speaking of the Amina Muaddi style heel these red beauties are also from BEBO, and I think that they are stunning!

Here’s another item that I’d been wanting for a long time. When I found these boots 40% off, I’m sure it was a sign for me to get them. They’re from Topshop, and they’re in this stunning dark burgundy colour. I just love a knee high boot!

The last two pieces are both from Monki, and as you can see, they’re both in denim. I feel like denim accessories have been around before, and I’ve always been intrigued by them, so I thought it was time to try some out. I love Monki shoes. Especially their boots which pretty much all has the same type of block heel and the same fit, and they fit my feet so well. I wore these denim lace up boots last week (they have a zipper on the side), and I loved wearing them. And why not get the matching denim hand bag. It’s a very nice little hand bag that’ll go with so many outfits.

Non-sale collective haul

After several sale hauls, I have a non-sale collective haul to share with you. This haul is a mix of clothes, shoes, and accessories.

I’ve been wanting a long, red coat for a while, and I’ve finally purchased one from H&M. I didn’t wear it out until last Saturday (because I’ve been going nowhere), but it looked great.

Yes, I’ve purchased another matching sweatsuit from H&M, and it’s so comfy, and I’ve already worn it a ton.

And sticking with matching sets, how cute is this lilac, yellow, brown, and white checked suit set? It’s from Monki, and I’ve also already worn this several times, and I’ve loved the looks I’ve created with it.

I don’t feel like I buy new jeans very often, but I love a good flare, and this dark blue wash is so nice. These are also from H&M.

When I saw these two indigo pieces on Monki website, I just couldn’t resist buying them. I definitely want to wear them together and do an all indigo look.

And I have more vests to share with you. This is another Monki vest, however not a sweater vest. I obviously love the colour, and I also really like the rhinestone buttons.

The next two vests are sweater vests, and they’re both from Zara and both are so cute. I wore the cream coloured one with pearls yesterday, and I think I’ll wear the blue one with the clouds tomorrow.

I have one more Zara piece to show you. There was just something about this idyllic nature print and the pastel colours that drew me to this jumper, and so far I’ve had a lot of fun styling it.

I have two pairs of boots to share with you. I’ve been wanting a pair of grey boots for a while, and these calf lengh kitten heel boots from H&M were just it. And look at those lilac knee high croc boots! They’re from Asos, and they are beautiful.

And last, but most certainly not least, I’ve purchased some jewellery. And not any jewellery. Mickey Mouse jewellery. When I saw all of these Mickey Mouse jewellery at H&M website a little while back, my heart skipped a beat. They are all so cute, and I’ve loved wearing them.

Zalando post Christmas/January sale haul

This is my last post Christmas/January sale haul. Finally. This is the smallest of these hauls, and it’s from Zalando.

I’ve added two more Disney T-shirts to my collection, and they’re both super cute. The one with Boo from Monsters Inc. is from Bershka, and the one with Stitch is from PULL&BEAR.

And the rest of the items are shoes. How fun are these cowboy boots from Raid! I love the print and colours, and I have already worn them with an outfit, so stay tuned for that look.

I might have a bit of an obsession with Amina Muaddi style heels, and BEBO makes very great dupes. Both of these pairs are really pretty, and I can’t wait to wear them.
