Collective beauty haul (July 2024)

I have a rather large collective beauty haul to share with you today. It’s a mix of drugstore, high end etc.

Let’s begin with the bits I picked up from the Essence Hello Kitty collection. I wish that this collection had a few more make-up items, but these things are cute nonetheless. I got the pocket mirror in 01 Make Today Amazing, the nail stickers in 01 Life’s Better With Besties, the mattifying paper in 01 Make The Most Of Today, the caring sheer lipstick in 01 Find Something Sweet In Each Day, and the blushlighter in 01 It’s The Inside That Counts!.

Here’s a closer look at some of the items. Definitely cute.

I also purchased these three products at the same time as I purchased the Essence Hello Kitty collection. I got another Rimmel Kind & Free mascara in 002 Brown Black, because I really enjoy this mascara. I also got another shade of the NYX Butter Gloss Bling lipglosses. It’s in the shade 08 Hu$tla. And most importantly I finally got my hands on the RMS Beauty ReDimension Hydra bronzer in Beachwalk Betty, which I’ve already featured in a favourites post.

I was really intrigued by the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Stix and Trace’d Out pencil lip liners, and I picked up the shade The MVP 10 in both. I’m not quite sure how I feel about the formulas yet though.

Before moving on to a big Catrice collection, I also wanted to show you the Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Low Lighters in Unbothered. I’m not sure if you’re supposed to use this product as a highlighter or as a blush, but it’s more of a blush on me. I love the whole Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin line.

Okay, I think the Generation Joy collection from Catrice is so fun. I love the colourful packaging, and there are some nice products in this collection.

First up we have the Magic Skin Perfector in C01 Embrace Yourself and the coloured mascara in C01 Real Rosewood. I’m not sure how I feel about the Magic Skin Perfector yet, but the mascara was quite pretty and unique.

I love the packaging of the lipsticks! They come in three shades; C01 True Tangerine, C02 Real Rosewood, and C03 Bold Berry.

I love that the lipliners come in the same three shades as the lipsticks. These are plumping lipliners by the way.

The Generation Joy collection also included two blushlighters in the shades C01 Flush of Joy and C02 Make Me Blush.

The remaining products in this haul are all from Beauty Bay. I collect the By BEAUTY BAY 20 colour palettes, and I really like the colour story of the Botanical palette.

I already had the Made By Mitchell Curve Case in Light, and I really like it, so I thought it would be fun to try the Lighter version as well.

I also picked up the e.l.f. Cosmetics Suntouchable! All Set for Sun SPF 30 spray, the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Magic Candy liquid blush in Watermelon Latex, and the Glisten Cosmetics Blooming Blush in Yikes!.

Lastly, I got three products from Trixie Cosmetics. The blush is the Show Pony single blush and the pinky red lipstick is the Love Interest buttercream lipstick. The bright pink lipstick is called Stacy and was a free gift with purchase.

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I dug out all of my Christmas themed products or products released around Christmas and put them aside. That time of year

Here’s what I wore Tuesday November 19. Yes, it’s that time of year again. Time for Christmassy looks! From now on I’ll be posting my Christmassy outfits and make-up looks, and when I’m done posting those, I’ll get back to where I left off, which is with my August looks. This week I’m wearing my more wintery jumpers.

Zalando haul (July 2024)

I have a Zalando haul to share with you today. It includes two pairs of shoes, some accessories, and some make-up bits.

My love for Crocs is ever growing, and I love the Siren style with the chunky heel. The pink version was on my wishlist for so long, and when they came to Zalando I purchased them immediately.

I bought the Mega Crush sandals from Crocs in a nude pink colour last year, and when I saw that these purple ones were on sale, I had to have them.

I also picked up two 5 pcs of Jibbitz on sale; the Keith Haring ones and some Snow White ones.

I’m still on the hunt for all kinds of brooches and these two from Pieces are so pretty.

I also got this red beaded headband from Pieces. You know I like my headbands.

Now, let’s move on to make-up. I love MAC lipsticks, and I never owned the original Snob lipstick, so I decided to get the new MACXIMAL matte lipstick in Lipstick Snob, which is a similar shade. I also picked up the rereleased frost lipstick in Haku, which came out for MAC’s 40th anniversary.

At a later time I also bought these three lipsticks on sale; the Revlon Colorstay Suede Ink lipstick in Lip Boom, the Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in 240 Galactic Mauve, and another rereleased frost lipstick from MAC in the shade Chintz.

Lastly, I purchased one of the new shades of the MAC Glow Play blushes. This shade is called Plush Pepper. I also got the Kiko Milano Sculpting Touch creamy stick contour in 200 Hazelnut. Both products were on sale.

Oden’s Eye Solmåne II Moon Wish collection

Oden’s Eye is one of my favourite indie make-up brands, and I love their original Solmåne II collection, so I was very excited about the Solmåne II Moon Wish collection. I purchased the entire collection which included a palette, three of the Solmåne Sunlight Love blushers and three of the Solmåne Moonlight Feel highlighters.

The Solmåne II Moon Wish palette has the same kind of packaging and layout as the original Solmåne II palette, but in a different colour scheme of course. I love the colour story of the original palette and I love the colour story of Moon Wish as well. I mean, look at all those stunning purples and blues.

I think the packaging of the Solmåne Sunlight Love blushers and the Solmåne Moonlight Feel highlighters is so pretty.

I really enjoy these blush formulas from Oden’s Eye. Some of the shades are matte and some are shimmery. These shades are called (from left to right) B104 Lilac Mist, B105 Pink Bloom, and W104 Solar Eclipse. They’re all beautiful.

The Solmåne Moonlight Feel highlighters are some of my favourite shimmery, shifty highlighters in my collection, and I love these new shades. They’re called (from left to right) H107 Moon Tears, H108 Star Legend, and H109 Light Glory. This picture doesn’t do them justice.

Darker and more neutral

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I could have worn an all pink make-up look to go with my all pink outfit, but instead I went for someting darker and more neutral, and I think the look went well with my pink outfit.

Spring magic in summer

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wanted to create a colourful make-up look to go with my colourful outfit, and I really like this fun, bright eye look I created with the Unearthly Cosmetics Spring Magic palette.

Collective second hand haul (July 2024)

I went second hand shopping at a couple of different charity shops during my summer holiday, and these are the things I found.

At the first charity shop I went to, I got these two skirts (I actually got two more skirts, but I’ll get back to those). I really like the pleats and colours of the first one, I like the second one too, even though I find it a bit difficult to style. However, I did come up with a cute look with it that I wore in the end of August.

As I mentioned, I purchased two more skirts, but they both came as part of a set. This purple set might be my favourite find in this haul. The details on the top and the pleats on the skirt are just so good. I can’t wait to style and wear this set.

And now you’re probably wondering, where’s the fourth and last skirt. Well, this beautiful blazer came with a matching pencil skirt, but the skirt was too small for me, so I’m not going to use it. I purchased the set anyways, because it was “on sale”, and I loved this fitted blazer.

These are the last two items I purchased at the first charity shop. The fuchsia shirt has a long, oversized fit, and it’s so comfortable. And the tropical, floral, animal print shirt is just so fun, and just the kind of shirt I love to find, when I go second hand shopping.

The next three things I purchased from a local charity shop on a day where the store had 50% off all clothes. I was a bit unsure about this blazer. Mostly because it’s black, and I don’t wear a lot of black, but the fabric is just so pretty, so I decided to give it a try.

I was actually also unsure about this dress, because it’s so fitted, and I ususally don’t like to wear something this tight to the body. However, I loved the colours and the window print, and I did wear it this past summer, and it was actually really cute.

I’m obsessed with brooches at the momemt, and I thought this cute, little heart-shaped one would be nice to layer with other brooches on a blazer or something like that.

The last thing in this haul is this incredible Save The Children tie that I found at a flee market. I really want to wear ties more often, and I just loved this one; the colours are great and the print is adorable. I also love the message behind it.
