Collective Beauty Bay haul

It’s time for a collective Beauty Bay haul. Some of these products you have already seen me wear, because I just couldn’t wait, but I still thought they needed to be featured in this haul. I have a bit of everything to show you, so let’s get started.

Let’s start with a couple of palettes, both from By Beauty Bay which is a brand, I hadn’t tried before, even though I shop a lot on the Beauty Bay website. This is the NikkieTutorials x Beautybay pressed pigment palette, which has a very fun and interesting colour story. I’ve only used a few of the shades so far, so I haven’t formed a proper opinion about this palette yet, but I’m really excited to play with it some more. As you can see the shade Vla arrived broken, but luckily it’s not a kind of shade that I use often, and I have that kind of shade in other palettes as well.

This is another By Beauty Bay palette, and so far I’m very impressed by the quality of these shadows. It’s the Book of Magic palette, and this colour scheme is right up my alley. I love purple and blue eyeshadows, so I was obviously very intrigued by the look of this palette. I’ve already done two full looks using this palette (se here and here), and I love how they turned out. I haven’t tried any of the purple shades yet, but those are some of the shades that I’m most excited to play with.

And sticking with purple and By Beauty Bay, I’ve also purchased one of their Liquid Crystal eyeshadows in the shade Amethyst. I have actually worn this, but I haven’t posted the look yet, but I can tell you that this liquid eyeshadow is absolutely stunning.

To finish the eye make-up part of this haul, I’ve purchased two of one of my favourite mascaras; the Maybelline Volum’ Express The Falsies mascara. Maybelline is new to Beauty Bay, and this mascara is pretty difficult to get a hold of, so I was really excited to find them on Beauty Bay.

Now let’s move on to lip products. I saw these NYX Diamond & Ice lip toppers and just thought that they looked so pretty. These are the shades That’s Fire and Power Trip, and they’re both beautiful, glittery, duochrome shades.

Then I got a few items from the Revolution Precious Glamour collection. They’re just so pretty and sparkly. Just take a look at this Bling Bomb lip gloss in the shade Opulent Light Beam. So pretty!

This is the Butterfly lipstick in the shade Extra Fancy from the same collection. I love the butterfly details.

The last item I got from the Revolution Precious Glamour collection is the Illuminator in the shade Million Dollars. How cute is the packaging!?

The second to last item in this haul is a product that I’ve heard many good things about. It’s the Milani Silky Matte Bronzing powder. I got the shade Sun Light, and it’s a pretty cool toned bronzer. I have only worn it a couple of times so far, and I need to wear it some more, because I have a feeling that I’m going to love this bronzer.

And now on to the last item in this haul. I’ve been really curious about those face rollers, so I thought getting this set would be a nice way to try one out and also get a few more items. This is the Brushworks Rose Quartz Roller Spa set and it comes with a roller, a Gua Sha, and a Konjac sponge. I haven’t had much time to try these items out yet, but hopefully I will soon.

Jeffree Star Velvet Trap lipsticks

Lipstick is my favourite make-up category (eyeshadow palettes are a close second), so I’m always excited to try out a new lipstick formula, even though I have my favourite formulas that I wear most of the time. My favourite liquid lipstick formula is that of the Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipsticks, so I was really excited to try out the newest lip product in the Jeffree Star Cosmetics range; the Velvet Trap lipstick. He lauched 20 shades, and I decided to get 6 of them. The shades I chose are (from left to right) Naked Body, Chocolate Fondue, Unphazed, Drill Sergeant, Firestarter, and The Perfect Red. You have already seen me wear The Perfect Red several times, and I love it! The colour really is as close to perfect as it gets, and I really like the formula as well. It’s a really comfortable matte lipstick. I also love the light pink packaging; they have a magnetic closure as well which is always super satisfying in a lipstick. The only other shade I’ve worn so far besides The Perfect Red is Chocolate Fondue, and that’s a very nice shade too. But I’m really excited to try the other shades as well, and who knows, maybe I’ll be adding more shades to my collection in the future.

Another collective Zalando haul

It’s time for a collective Zalando haul. I’ve purchased most of these items a month or two ago, so it’s about time that I get to post this haul.

This fleece cardigan/jacket from Monki is incredibly soft and I of course love the colours (remember my obsession with everything purple).

This purple corduroy shirt is also from Monki, and it’s the same colour as my purple corduroy trousers, and I have actually already worn them together.

The last clothing piece from Monki in this haul is this dusty green short sleeve blazer. I have also worn this, and it’s such a fun piece and great for layering.

Moving on to Bershka and a bunch of Disney pieces. Most of them have Mickey Mouse prints, but I also got this Disney princess oversized sweatshirt, which is super comfy.

This jumper (also from Bershka) is just so cute, and I had to have it. I have already worn it, and I wore it with the jeans below.

These wide leg jeans are just great. They are really long, which looks great when paired with heels, but they also work with sneakers when cuffed. They’re from Bershka as well.

And now on to a few accessories. This Mickey Mouse belt bag is from PULL&BEAR and it’s so cute and appears very roomy as well. And that was the last Disney piece.

I had a zebra print bucket hat as a child that I loved, so I’ve been wanting a zebra print bucket hat to fit my adult head. This one is from Bershka, and I’m really excited to style it.

And now, shoes. I’ve been wanting a pair of chunky black shoes and was happy to find these ones from Bershka. I’ve worn them a couple of times, but sadly I’ve gotten hand sanitizer on them, and it won’t come of. Any advice on how to remove hand sanitizer from shoes?

Here’s another pair of black chunky shoes but in boot form. These are from PULL&BEAR, and they’re just a great stable to have in your wardrobe.

Last, but not least, I have purchased these awesome two toned knee high boots from Monki. I initially purchased them on Monki’s website, but they were sold out or something, so I was happy to see them on Zalando and purchased them immediately.

Holiday make-up haul

The only holiday make-up collections I usually buy are MAC and Jeffree Star, but this year there are so many cute holiday palettes and lip sets, so I decided to get some products from BH Cosmetics, Fenty Beauty, and Too Faced.

Let’s start with BH Cosmetics. I’ve never tried any products from this brand, but these are some of the most festive holiday palettes I’ve ever seen, so I had to have them. I’ve already worn both palettes, and so far I love them. The quality is great for the affordable price and the colour stories are so inspiring; especially the colour story of the Naughty palette. I can’t wait to create many more looks with these palettes.

I love Fenty Beauty as a brand, and I couldn’t resist a few of this year’s holiday sets. The first set that I’ve purchased is the Full Snap – Gift Duo which contains a limited edition Snap Shadows palette in Holo-Daze and a mini Full Frontal mascara. I haven’t tried the mascara before, so I’m excited to do so, and I love the Snap Shadow palettes, and the shades in this one are so pretty.

From Fenty Beauty I also purchased the Glossy Posse – Holo’Daze Christmas Edition which is a set of four mini Gloss Bombs in limited edition shades. The shades are (from left to right): Ruby Milk, Cake Shake, Taffy Tea$e, and Baby Brut. How cute are these glosses!

I’ve never been that interested in Too Faced make-up, but their holiday sets this year caught my eye for some reason. This Cinnamon Bear gift set is so cute, and I can’t wait to try both products.

This is the holiday set that started it all for me this year. It’s the Too Faced Christmas Snuggles & Melted Kisses – Gift Set which contains four mini Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear lipsticks in the shades (from left to right) Hot Toddy, Candy Cane, Sugar Cookie, and Caramel Apple. The packaging is adorable and so festive and the lipsticks actually smell like the things they’re named after, which is incredible. I have already tried a couple of the shades, and I’m really impressed by the formula. I’m going to keep my eye out for sets like this one in the future.

Annual Christmas clothing/accessories haul pt. 1

It’s that time of year again. Time for my annual Christmas clothing/accessories haul, and it’s a two-part haul this year. This part is going to be all about the clothes; jumpers, T-shirts etc. Part two is going to be socks, tights, jewellery, and hair accessories. Let’s get to it.

The one type of Christmas jumper which was definitely missing from my rather extensive collection was one with lights. This one is from a Danish brand called Julesweaters (which translates to Christmas sweaters), and I’ve had my eye on this one for a couple of Christmases now I think. It has lights in four of the baubles, and they light up when you hit them. I’m going to feel and look like a Christmas tree when I wear this.

Christmas and Disney are two of my favourite things, and when I saw this on shopDisney, I just knew I had to have it. It has pompoms, a bell and sequins. What’s not to like.

The men’s department of H&M always makes great Christmas jumpers. I mean, just look at these two. They feature two more of my favourite things; Coca Cola and dinosaurs.

And sticking with dinosaurs and men’s jumpers. How great is this one from Asos!

And now on to a couple of red ones both purchased at supermarkets. I really liked the blue details on the first one with the reindeer, and I think the gingerbread men and women on the second one are so cute.

Here are two that you’ve already seen, because I wore these in my last two outfit posts (check them out here and here). Both are from H&M.

I’m so excited to wear this matching sweatshirt and leggings set from Monki. I think it’s going to be so cute and cozy.

And last but not least, the T-shirts. The one with the sloth and the one with the gingerbread men are both from Monki and both adorable. The Love Actually one is from H&M (I love that film), and the Coca Cola one is from my local supermarket.

I cannot wait to wear all of these pieces!

Big collective H&M haul pt. 1

It’s time for a big collective H&M haul. Part 1 is going to be clothes, and part 2 is going to be accessories.

It has gotten cold outside, so it’s time for winter coats, scarves and gloves etc. I’ve gotten myself two new puffer jackets, and as you can see, they’re both purple, though different shades of purple. I just love purple so much that I had to have both.

Let’s stay with tops. I got one T-shirt and a bunch of knitwear and sweatshirts. The T-shirt is this cute light yellow one with a Mickey and friends print.

Sweater wests are a huge trend right now, and I love them. I loved the look of this cropped black one; I love the purple and pink flowers and the subtle kind of argyle pattern.

I’m not much of a cardigan person, but I really liked this Alive in Wonderland inspired one.

And now on to a couple of jumpers. The stripy one is from the H&M x Kangol collection, and I love the colour scheme and the oversized fit. The red jumper with a wintery Mickey on it was a must have for me. I could maybe have featured it in my upcoming Christmas clothing haul, but I don’t think it has to be worn only at Christmas time or in December in general. I’m actually planning on wearing it next week.

Okay, so the next couple of pieces are purple as well. Now you’re warned:) This is a sweatshirt dress, and it’s just so incredibly comfortable.

I got myself three Disney-related sweatshirt (well, actually four, but I’ll get back to that in a moment). I love everything about the Toy Story one. It says “Toy Story” on the front and has Rex pictured on the back. And it’s purple of course. What’s not to like. The lilac Aristocats sweathirt was just too cute to leave behind, and the same goes for the Alice in Wonderland rabbit sweatshirt, which has the cutest little white ruffle collar.

I’ve purchased one more sweatshirt, but it’s a part of this matching set. I’m not the kind of person that wear joggers, not even around the apartment on weekends, but that might have changed. I wore this set all of last weekend, and I loved wearing it. It’s so comfortable, but cute at the same time.

And the last clothing item from this big collective H&M haul is this festive checked midi skirt. It comes with a matching belt which is such a nice detail, and I think it’ll be great to pair with Christmas jumpers.

MAC Frosted Firework holiday 2020

It’s that time of the year again. Time to purchase this year’s MAC holiday collection. It’s been out for a little while now, but I still think you can get a lot of the items. It’s called the Frosted Firework collection, and the packaging is shiny, pale pink with silver and glitter details; very pretty. I purchased two lipsticks, an eyeliner, an highligter, and a highlight palette from the collection.

The lipsticks I bought are in the shades Once Bitten, Ice Shy (love that name) and Out With A Bang. Once Bitten, Ice Shy is described as a sheer white w. pearl and it has a lustre finish, and Out With a Bang is described as a deep rich burgundy and it has an amplified creme finish.

I don’t usually go for eyeliners when it comes to these limited edition collections, but I was intrigued by this Dual Powerprint eye pencil. It’s in the shade Short Fuse/Be Cool Bb and the shades are described as a purple with multicoloured pearl and a bright white with pearl.

And now on to highlighters. The Extra Dimension Skinfinish formula is one of my favourite highlight formulas, so I had to have this frosty white beauty called Let It Glow.

My favourite products to buy from MAC holiday collections besides lipsticks are the face compacts. They usually have the Extra Dimension formula, and this year MAC gave us the Flashing Ice Extra Dimension Skinfinish trio. I picked up the light version, and it contains the following shades (from left to right): Glitzed Out, There She Glows, and Out on the Tinseltown. I love the names, and the shades are so pretty!

5 favourites – October

Happy halloween. I’m going to end October with a halloween date with my boyfriend. We’re going to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is very fitting, since we are only a month away from December now, and I’m so, so, so excited for Christmas! I had lots of favourites this past month, but I managed to narrow it down to five, so here goes.

Purple corduroy trousers: As you might have noticed (and I have mentioned) I’ve been obsessed with everything purple this year, and especially the last couple of months. I’d been wanting a pair of purple high waist wide leg trousers for so long, and these Monki ones are perfect, and I’ve worn them a lot. So stay tuned for many more purple looks.

Purple, christmassy sock slippers: It has definitely gotten colder outside, and I’m often cold, so I’ve been wearing these sock slippers (I dont’ know if that’s a thing) almost every day around the apartment. I know they have Christmas trees and snow flakes on them, but because they’re not traditional Christmas colours, I thought I could start wearing them a little early:)

Jeffree Star Cosmetics hand mirror: I didn’t think I would love a hand mirror this much, but I do my make-up very early in the morning when it’s now completely dark outside, and this mirror has been perfect to do my eye make-up in. I do have a standing mirror on my vanity, but it can be difficult to get close enough to my face, especially when I’m only relying on artificial light, so this mirror has been a huge help. And this was the last purple item (at least in this post).

Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane green tea: I’m obsessed with everything that smells or tastes like candy cane and peppermint, and this tea is so delicious. It’s decaffeinated, so it’s been my go-to evering tea.

Disney+ (streaming service): I debated with myself whether I should get Disney+ or not, even though I’m a huge Disney fan, but then my sisters asked me if we should get it together, and I said yes immediately, and it was the best decision. I’ve watched so many different things on Disney+ already and there’s still so much more, I’m exicted to watch.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics haul

I have a Jeffree Star Cosmetics haul to share with you today. I purchased these items when the Orgy collection launched, so I’ve had them for a while now, and I’ve used most of them.

I decided not get the Orgy palette and only get the Mini Orgy palette. As a colourful make-up lover this collection didn’t really speak to me, and I’m not a fan of the concept of doing an all matte palette and an all glitter/metallic palette, but I do love a good glittery/metallic eyeshadow, hence why I picked up the Mini Orgy palette. I’ve only used this palette once so far, and I was actually a little disappointed. I used the top row, and the only nice shade was Champagne Drip. The others lack pigmentation. Hopefully the rest of the shades are better.

The other product I purchased from the Orgy collection is the Magic Star luminous setting powder in Translucent. I also purchased the original Magic Star setting powder in Fair, which I’ve been loving so much (I featured it in my 5 favourites post from September). I’ve only used the luminous setting powder once or twice so far, and I’m not quite sure how to use it properly yet.

I’ve also bought another Velour liquid lipstick from the Shane Dawson collaboration collection. This is a hot pink called Jeffree, What the Fuck?.

And last, but not least, I’ve purchased one of the hand mirrors. I chose the glittery purple one, since I love glitter and purple is my favourite colour, and I’ve done my make-up in this mirror pretty much every day since I received it. It’s very lightweight, and the quality is very nice.

Big collective clothing and accessories haul

I’ve been doing quite a bit of shopping lately (as per usual), and I’ve collected items from different brands and thought I would put them all in this one big collective haul. So here goes.

Let’s start with Monki and corduroy trousers. I’ve purchased three new pairs of corduroy trousers, all from Monki. I first bought the dark green pair, because I thought they would be perfect for autumn (and also for December paired with Christmas jumpers!). It didn’t take me many days before I ordered the purple ones too. I’ve been wanting a pair of purple corduroy trousers for quite a while, and these are perfect. I’m actually wearing them right now:) And the last pair of corduroy trousers I’ve purchased is a pair of dark yellow/orangy ones that I found on sale. They’re very autumnal too.

I also purchased this roll neck top from Monki. I just loved the print and colours, and I actually think it would look great paired with all three pairs of corduroy trousers.

The last item from Monki is this argyle sweater vest. Sweater vests are a huge trend right now, and I’m all aboard with this trend.

And now on to H&M and three long sleeve tops. You know that I can’t resist clothing with Disney print, and the navy and cream stripy top with the little embroidered Mickey Mouse is just so cute. The black and white striped fitted roll neck top is a great stable in any autumn/winter wardrobe, and the black and white houndstooth printed roll neck top is also great for colder weather.

I’ve also bought three pairs of earrings from H&M. The rainbow pair just screamed my name: I mean, just look how fun they are! And my obsession with purple is continuously growing, so I added two different pairs of purple hoops to my ever growing earring collection.

I have three pieces left to show you. First off is another argyle sweater vest. This one is from a brand called Soyaconcept. I found it very randomly on sale, and it was too good to leave behind.

The last two items are both Disney-related. This Mulan T-shirt is from PULL&BEAR, and I obviously love the print and also the warm colours of the print.

And last, but certainly not least, I’ve purchased the cutest Mickey and Minnie Mouse sneakers from Bershka. As you can see Minnie is on the right shoe with the yellow detail, but Mickey is on the left shoe with the green detail. How cute is that!
