I have a smaller Beauty Bay haul to share with you today. I purchased these products back in late May, when Jeffree Star released a bunch of new shades of his Velvet Trap lipsticks, so I purchased four of those. I also picked up a couple of other products at the same time.
I had to get two of the red shades from the Velvet Trap lipstick line extension. I picked up RedRum, which I also own in the Velour liquid lipstick formula, the older Lip Ammunition formula, and as the Velour lip liner. It’s my favourite shade of classic red. I also picked up the shade Red Affair, which I also own in the Supreme Gloss formula, and I love that shade too.
The shade that I was most excited about was definitely the shade Extending the Olive Branch, which is a mustard yellow. I’d been wanting a mustard yellow lipstick for a while, so I was so excited to finally have one in my lipstick collection, and I love it. I also picked up the shade Gardening Hoe, which is a muted nude yellow, which is also a shade that I’m really into.
One of the other two products I picked up was the Made By Mitchell Mini Mitchell Vol. 1 palette (& pouch). I really like the Made By Mitchell eyeshadows, and this mini palette comes with some fun colours.
The last product I picked up was a back-up of the Soda #wowbrow Flat Brow Liner in the shade Kim, because I love this brow pencil. It’s one of my favourites.
Today I have a Zalando haul to share with you. It’s a mix of clothes, shoes, accessories, and make-up. I purchased these items in June.
I have this style of skirt from Monki in quite a few colour ways and patterns, but I had to add this cute, floral one to my wardrobe as well. It’s just the perfect summer skirt in my opinion.
I really like this style of vest/tank top, so I purchased this two pack from Monki on sale with an orange and a black one.
Monki makes really cute shoes, and these two pairs of strappy block heel sandals are no exception. I loved wearing both pairs this past summer.
I also purchased another pair of strappy sandals. These are from Mango, and they’re really cute as well.
The last pair of shoes in this haul I featured in my June favourites, and they’re one of my best summer purchases. They’re from Teva, and they are so comfortable, and I’ve worn them so much.
I’d been eyeing these multicoloured rhinestone earrings from Topshop for so long, and when I found them on sale, I had to get them. I’m so glad that I did, because I’ve worn them quite a bit.
In my last haul, I featured the I Heart Revolution x Disney Fairytale Books Ariel/The Little Mermaid collection, and I also mentioned that there would be more Disney make-up in future hauls. This is one of those hauls, because I purchased more I Heart Revolution x Disney Fairytale Books palettes and heart highlighters. First off, we have the Belle/Beauty and the Beast palette and highlighter.
I also purchased the Cinderella palette and highlighter.
And lastly, I purchased the Tiana/The Princess and the Frog palette (the highlighter was too deep for me).
These are the rest of the make-up products. I purchased the Maybelline Fit Me Primer Luminous & Smooth primer, the MAC Studio Fix Sculpt And Shape Contour palette in Light/Medium, the MAC Prep + Prime Transparent finishing powder, and the Pixi On-The-Glow blush in the shade Juicy.
Here’s a closer look at the contour palette. I’ve not been contouring in years, but this palette has gotten me back in to it a little bit. I still don’t contour every day, but I do it sometimes, and I really enjoy using this palette. I really like the setting/finishing powders as well as the contour shades.
It’s time for a big collective Beauty Bay haul. These are products I purchased in late April to mid May.
Let’s start with the BPerfect Manifest Dream Big palette. I think I’d seen this palette on Youtube and thought it was a very interesting and fun colour scheme, so I decided to pick it up. To be honest, I’ve only worn a few times so far, but I really liked the looks I created. I should definitely get some use out of this palette.
I also picked up two more lipsticks from Soda. These are in the shades 006 Your Mood and 008 Pretty Doll, and both shades are beautiful.
Here’s a closer look at the three blushers you see in the first picture. I picked up another Made By Mitchell Blursh liquid blusher. This one is in the shade Posey Rosey. I’d heard good things about the Milani Cheek Kiss cream blush, so I decided to try out the shade 120 Coral Crush, and it’s a lovely cream blusher. And then I picked up something, I’ve been wanting for years. Well, sort of. In the late spring, Too Faced launched the Love Flush Water Colour blushes, which I think is a revamped version of their original Love Flush blushes, which I sadly missed out on.
The first shade I picked up is called No Ordinary Love, and it’s a pretty pale pink shade.
As you can see, I late on decided to pick up another shade of the Too Faced Love Flush Water Colour blushes. I also picked up the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze, which was on sale, and two of the L.A. Girl Pastel Dream auto eyeliners in the shades Sunshine and Lavender.
The second shade I picked up of the Too Faced blushes is called California Love, and it’s a very nice nude colour.
And I’ve already talked about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze in a 5 favourites post, and I’m still obsessed with this product; I’ve been using it almost every day for quite a while now.
Speaking of Anastasia Beverly Hills, I got the craziest deal on this set of two of her most well known eyeshadow palettes; the Modern Renaissance palette and the Soft Glam palette.
Here’s a closer look at the two palettes. Even though they’re both very neutral, which is not my go-to kind of eyeshadow palette, they’re still very pretty, and I really like the ABH eyeshadow formula.
Now, let’s talk BH Cosmetics. The BH Cosmetics eyeshadows are some of my favourites, and I really liked the look of the Do Not Disturb shadow palette. I also liked the look of the BH Cosmetics Say It! shimmer glosses in the shades Do Not Disturb + Low Key Love You.
Here’s a closer look at the inside of the palette and the glosses. So pretty!
Let’s just stay with BH Cosmetics a little longer, because I also picked up the BH Cosmetics Flower Power 5 Piece Face & Eye brush set with bag. I really like BH Cosmetics brushes; they really affordable, but really good.
Last, but not least, I picked up some lip products from Jeffree Star Cosmetics, and they were all on sale. I bought the Supreme Gloss in Mannequin, the Velour liquid lipsticks in I’m Royalty and Blue Velvet, the Velour lip liners in Mannequin and Blue Velvet, and the Velvet Trap lipstick in So Jaded.
This is what So Jaded looks like; a beautiful deep forest green.
The first month of autumn has come to an end. The weather has definitely started to become more autumnal, and I’m very excited about that. I’m looking forward to another month of autumn with Halloween around the corner, and then it won’t be long before Christmas is here! If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know how I feel about Christmas. But anyways, let’s not get ahead of ourselves, and let’s talk about some of my favourite things from the month of September.
Dior Backstage Face & Body powder in 0N Neutral: This product is from one of my August/September hauls. It will still be quite a while before I’ll be posting that haul, but I had to share this powder with you. Dior is obviously a luxury brand, and this is not a cheap powder, but I think it might be worth the more expensive price point, because it’s just stunning on the skin. It has a natural glow to it, which looks beautiful.
MAC Magic Extension mascara: I got a sample of the newest mascara from MAC with an online purchase this past summer, and I will be doing a first impressions post on it at some point. However, as you might have guessed from the fact that I’m featuring it in a favourites post, I really enjoy this mascara. It looks great, I like the brush, and it doesn’t transfer on me, so I’m quite excited about this product.
KAYALI Eau de Parfum Rollerball in MUSK | 12 & VANILLA | 28: I don’t try new perfumes very often, but I’m obsessed with everything vanilla scented, so I thought I would try this rollerball perfume from KAYALI. It’s a dobble-ended rollerball, so it also have a musk perfume, and I absolutely love both scents. And I love the rollerball design; it’s so convenient and travel-friendly.
LEGO Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse: For my birthday in August my boyfriend gave me this LEGO Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse set. It wasn’t on my wishlist, but it was such a great gift. I’ve had such a great time buildning my two favourite mice, and I’m really excited to build the last few pieces that came with the set; a flower bouquet, a guitar, a camera on a tripod, and a book.
The Danish Girl (film): I’ve been wanting to watch this film for years now, and I finally got around to it when I was ill with the flu a couple of weeks ago. It’s such a beautiful and emotional story; in the film and in real life. I think I was extra moved by it being Danish myself. Go watch it if you haven’t already, and be prepared to cry.
It’s time for a collective Feelunique haul. I purchased these products in late April, so I’ve had them for a while, but that also means that I’ve had time to try them out.
Let’s start with some face products. I picked up one the Revlon Skin Lights Prismatic bronzers, another one of the Revlon Skin Lights Prismatic highlighters, and the Maybelline FaceStudio Chrome Extreme Intense Metallic highlighter in 200 Diamond. As you can see, the Maybelline highlighter came broken, so it’s a bit difficult to use, which is why, I haven’t used it much yet.
It’s another story with the Revlon Skin Lights Prismatic bronzer in 110 Sunlit Glow, because I’ve used that bronzer a lot. I really like the shade and finish of this bronzer; it looks beautiful on the skin. It’s one of my favourite products from this haul.
In this Feelunique haul, I featured one of the Revlon Skin Lights Prismatic highlighters, but the shade turned out to be too dark on me (shade 202 Twilight Gleam). So when I saw that the lighter shade 201 Daybreak Glimmer was in stock I decided to pick it up, and this one is the prettiest pale gold highlighter, and it works very well on my fair skin.
Moving on to a few more cheek products and a lip liner. I love NYX lip liners/pencils and the Slim lip pencils are classics. This is the shade Natural, and it’s such a good pinky nude lip liner. The two blushers are the Maybelline Dream Matte Blush Creamy Cheek Tints, which I hadn’t heard of before. I picked up the two shades that were available, 30 Coy Coral and 80 Burgundy Blush, and even though I haven’t played with them that much yet, I really like how my cheeks looked the days I wore them.
The last two cheek products I purchased were the bareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzers. I also decided to get the Urban Decay All Nighter face primer, which I’ve been enjoying a lot, and I also picked up a back-up of my favourite highlighter brush, the Morphe M510 pro round blender brush.
Here’s a better look at the bareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzers. I got the shades Kiss of Pink and Kiss of Copper. I wouldn’t say that these can replace actual bronzer. To me they are just blushers, but that’s not a bad thing, because they are very pretty.
I picked up two more primers as well. These are the NYX Angel Veil Skin Perfecting primer and the NYX Hydra Touch primer. I’ve only used the Hydra Touch primer once or twice so far, so I haven’t formed a proper opinion on it yet, but I’m really liking the Angel Veil primer. It’s a primer, I’ve been wanting to try for years, and I’m glad that I finally did.
And now on to some base products. I featured the L’Oreal Paris Infaillible 24H Fresh Wear foundation (shade: 015 Porcelain) in my August 5 favourites post, which obviously means that I love this product. And I do. It has quickly become one of my favourite foundations. I also picked up the Beauty Bakerie Flour setting powder in Oat (translucent), which I like as well. The Revlon PhotoReady Candi Antioxidant concealer (shade 010 Vanilla) is not a great shade match, so I probably won’t be keeping it for long.
The last three products in this haul are all back-ups. The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation in 110 Porcelain and the Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation in 100 Warm Ivory are my two favourite foundations, so I always have back-ups of those. And the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara has become one of my favourite mascaras, so I needed a back-up of that one too.
I have a Zalando haul to share with you today. It’s a mix of clothes, accessories, and beauty products. Let’s start with the clothes.
I got three pieces of clothing, and all three pieces are from Monki. I thought the white button up blouse with the floral embroidery was very pretty, and I’ve actually worn it with the lilac wide leg jeans. I wore the denim shorts on my summer holiday in July when the weather was hot.
I purchased two accessories. The green snake print bag is also from Monki, and the white belt is from Tamaris. I hadn’t had a white belt for a while, and I missed having a white belt, so I picked this one up, and I really like it.
And now on to the beauty products. I picked up a The Balm Bronzilla bronzer, two MAC Black Cherry Extra Dimension blushes in the shades Dilly-Dolly and Under My Plum, a L’Oréal Lash Paradise mascara in Moonlight Noir, two Maybelline Colour Sensational Ultimatte lipsticks in the shades More Scarlet + More Rust, and a Maybelline Lifter Gloss in the shade 8 Stone.
Here’s a closer look at the bronzer and blushers. I love the MAC Extra Dimension formula, and these blushers are so stunning. I’m especially obsessed with the light pink shade with a gold shift called Dilly-Dolly.
I also picked up a NYX The Marshmellow primer set including a full size primer, a travel size primer, and a sponge. I love the primer, but I haven’t tried the sponge yet. It sure is cute though.
I have a collective beauty haul to share with you today. It consists of palettes, cheek and lip products. Let’s start with the palettes.
I’ve purchased two more Natasha Denona palettes. I’m probably the most excited about the Zendo palette, which I purchased right when it launched. I’ve actually already featured it in a favourites post, which shows how much I like this palette. I just love the mix of colourful shades and neutrals.
The other ND palette that I purchased in late spring/early summer was the Triochrome palette. This is one of the bigger palettes, and it’s therefore more expensive, but one day I found it 40% off on sale, so I had to pick it up. The colour story is very interesting, and I’m excited to create more looks with it.
The last palette in this haul is the Huda Beauty Brown Obsessions Toffee palette. I really enjoy the Huda Beauty Obsessions palettes, and this is my kind of neutral palette. I love the looks I’ve created with this palette so far.
Now, let’s talk cheeks. I picked up two blushers and one highlighter.
I’ve been loving blusher lately; even more than I already did. So I’ve been trying to add blushers that I didn’t already own to my collection these past few month. That’s why I was attracted to both the KVD Vegan Beauty Everlasting blush in Poppy and the Nyx Sweet Cheeks matte creamy powder blush in Red Riot. They’re such fun colours.
Since Becca is going out of business, I thought I would finally pick up the Shimmering Skin Perfector pressed highlighter in Pearl. It was on sale, and I’ve been wanting this highlighter for a long time, so I’m glad that it’s finally a part of my highlighter collection.
Lastly, I picked up three lip products; a sheer lipstick, a metallic lipstick, and a liquid lipstick.
The sheer lipstick is the Fenty Beauty Slip Shine Sheer Shiny lipstick in Makeout Break. It’s such a pretty, comfortable nude lipstick, and the packaging is really pretty too.
The metallic lipstick is the Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Singe, which is a metallic red. I got this one on sale, and I think it’ll be great for wearing around Christmas time.
I also picked up another NYX Shine Loud High Pigment Lip Shine. This is in the shade Ambition Statement, and it’s a very pretty terracotta nude.
I have a Natasha Denona haul to share with you today. Everything is purchased at Feelunique.
Let’s start with the biggest purchase of the haul; the Diamond & Blush palette in 01 Darya Coral. As you can see, my palette is a bit messy. It’s due to the fact that the bottom left shade (the diamond powder) came broken. It was very difficult for me to send the palette back, so I decided to keep it and I got a refund on the broken shade. I tried my best to press it back in to the pan, and now it’s usable. It’s a super pretty face palette, and I really like it, but it’s too bad that I can’t travel with it, and I have to store it flat.
Let’s continue with another face palette. This is the Love Glow Cheek palette, and I’m pretty sure it launched at the same time as the Love palette. It contains four different formulas/textures, and they’re all very pretty.
And now on to the last two face/cheek products in this haul. I purchased the Contour Sculpting Powder in 01 Light and the Super Glow in 1 Fair. Lately, I’ve been slowly getting a bit back in to contouring, and this ND contour powder is great. The Super Glow is a stunning highlighter that I’ve been enjoying as well. It looks a bit dark in the pan, but it’s super bright on the skin.
Last, but not least, I’ve added three more mini palettes to my growing collection. I picked up the Mini Gold, the Mini Glam, and the Mini Star. I’ve created looks with all of these palettes, I think I used every single shade, and I loved how all three looks turned out. Natasha Denona eyeshadows are just incredible.
It’s time for a Sephora sale haul. I bought these products in late April (I know, I’m still way behind), and as you can see they’re a mix of cheek and lip products.
First off, let’s talk bronzers. I’ve never really been obsessed with bronzers until recently. I used to have a few bronzers that I loved and wore all the time, but I’ve been so in to trying out new bronzers lately, and these three are good ones. I’ve been wanting to try the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer for years, and I finally decided to get it. It’s a very nice matte bronzer perfect for fair skin. My favourite of the three so far has without a doubt been the Hourglass Ambient Lighting bronzer (as you might already know if you’ve seen my July 5 favourites post). I got the shade Luminous Bronze Light, and it is just stunning! The last bronzer I got in this Sephora sale was the Huda Beauty Tantour – Contour & Bronzer Cream in Fair, and even though it looks quite dark, it blends out lighter, and it looks beautiful on the skin. I might still like my Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle cream bronzer in Butta Biscuit more, but the Huda Beauty one is up there.
I picked up two blush products from Fenty Beauty. The first one is the Killawatt Freestyle – Foil highlighter duo in Mimosa Sunrise / Sangria Sunset, and even though the name says they’re highlighters, they’re definitely not highlighters on my fair skin. However, they make beautiful glowy blushes, which is why I purchased this duo. I also picked up another Cheeks Out Freestyle cream blush. This is the shade Summertime Wine, and it’s just what it reminds me of.
Last, but not least, I got three lipsticks. All of these lipsticks were heavily discounted. I got the Dior Golden Nights – Diorific lipstick in 072 Shimmery Red, the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Rock’n Shine lipstick in 2 Cacao Bounce, and the Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte lipstick in Violet Fury. I’ve only worn the Fenty one so far; the Dior and YSL ones are almost too beautiful to wear. However, I’m pretty sure I’ll wear them some day.
I LOVE Disney, and I’m really excited to watch Cruella some day. I also love MAC, so of course I had to pick up some pieces from the MAC Cruella collection. And quite a lot of pieces as you can see.
I don’t pick up eyeshadow palettes from MAC collections very often, but the design of this palette was just so fun and different. It’s called the Eyeshadow x8 palette: Cruella To Be Kind, and it has four matte shades and four shimmery shades.
For eyes I also got the Dual-Ended Pro Longwear eyeliner in De-Vinyl/Tightly Laced. Of course it’s a black and a white eyeliner.
I very often buy compacts from LE MAC collections, and I had to have the one from the Cruella collection. This is the powder blush duo in Cruel-la Intensions (shades: Tickled Punk/Cruel-la Intensions), which contains a blush and a highlighter.
These are my first Retro Matte liquid lip colours from MAC, and the shades are called Queen of Mean and Mayhemmed. So far I’ve only worn Mayhemmed (the red one), and I really like it.
If there’s one thing that I collect from MAC it’s their lipsticks. I got all three shades from this collection. They are all matte, and the red is called De Vil In The Details, the peachy-pinky nude is called Sweet-N-Vicious, and the dark one is called Camden Caper. The Sweet-N-Vicious lipstick is the product from the collection I’ve worn the most so far. It’s such a pretty shade; the perfect summer nude.
