5 favourites – March

The first month of spring (though the weather wasn’t spring-like at all) has come to an end. At the moment, I’m enjoying my easter holiday, but most of March was all about work for me. I’m super excited about April, because I’m moving into a new apartment in two weeks! I can’t wait to get more space and to decorate my new home. But before welcoming April, let’s say goodbye to March with some favourites.

Støvet khakigrønne fløjlsbukser m. vide - second hand

Flared corduroy trousers vol. 2: My corduroy obsession is still going strong. These trousers that I found in the men’s section at a second hand store are just perfect, and I’ve worn them so much.

Blommefarvet pelset beret

Faux fur beret: My beret collection is also growing, and the newest addition has been my go-to hat this past month. I love the plum colour and the fact that it’s fluffy. It’s such a nice accessory.

Troll Beads armbånd

Troll Beads bangle: When I got my master’s degree in late January, my parents gave me this beautiful Troll Beads bangle + the two black glass beads. My sister and her boyfriend gave me the silver bead (+ another glass bead). I love the ability to costumise your jewellery, and I’m really looking forward to extending my Troll Beads collection.

moana-intro

Moana (film): I finally got to watch Moana, and I loved it. I find it to be a very aesthetically pleasing film, and the songs are great!

CHCHdotcom_Sliders_WhiteCollar

White Collar (Tv series): I can’t believe it took me so long to finally start watching this TV series. I was hooked from pilot episode; I love the characters and especially the relationship between Neal and Peter, and I can’t wait to watch the rest of the series.

Revisiting red

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. In the autumn, I wore a lot of red eye make-up looks, and I’ve missed it, so I revisited my favourite red eye shadow, Relish by Urban Decay.

Here’s what I wore Tuesday February 20. This skirt can be difficult to style, but I love how this outfit turned out. I really like the muted colours and the subtle mix of patterns.

Updated go-to neutral eye

Here’s the make-up I wore Wednesday February 14. The eye make-up is an updated version of my everyday go-to eye make-up. I love that it’s such a neutral look, because every single lip colour will match.

Huge second hand haul pt. 2

Here’s the second part of my huge second hand haul. You can find pt. 1 here.

Mørk fuchsia og grøn ternet lang blazer - second handMørk fuchsia og grøn ternet nederdel - second hand

It’s always awesome finding a matching set, even though I don’t think I’ll ever wear the two pieces together. I love the print and colours, and the quality is very nice.

Grøn, blå og orange ternet lang kilt - second hand

I found some more tartan, and this is actually a Scottish kilt. I thought it was such a fun piece, and I think it will be very interesting to style.

Støvet khakigrønne fløjlsbukser m. vide - second hand

These corduroy trousers are one of my favourite items from this two part second hand haul. I found them in the men’s section, but they fit me perfectly. I’ve already worn them a ton.

Blommefarvet pelset beret

I’m expanding my beret collection, and this fluffy plum-coloured one is quite unique. It’s been my go-to hat ever since I bought it.

Sorte lange støvler m. hæl - second hand

I’d been looking for a pair of long square toe boots with a ’90s/early 2000’s vibe, and these are perfect. I think they’ll look good with so many different outfits.

Sunset eyes

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wanted to try out the sunset eye trend, and I love how it looks! Orange and purple go so well together.

Favourite second hand shirt

Here’s what I wore Friday February 9. This colourful shirt is one of my favourite second hand finds, and I love how it looks paired with the kick flare jeans. I loved this outfit so much that I’m actually wearing the same outfit today.

(Jeans – H&M, shirt – second hand, belt – Pieces, boots – Asos)

First impressions: L’Oréal Volume Million Lashes Fatale mascara

DSC_4830

I’ve tested yet another mascara. This is the L’Oréal Volume Million Lashes Fatale mascara, and here are my first impressions on it.

First impressions

It has a plastic/rubber wand, and even though I prefer a bristle brush, I find this one easy to use. My lashes look long, black, and voluminous, and it holds the curl. It’s quite easy to remove from the skin with a dry cotton bud without ruining the eye shadow, and it’s easy to remove completely with regular make-up remover. It did transfer unto my eyelids throughout the day, but it wasn’t too bad. It’s still not close to being as good as my favourite mascara (Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express), but it’s not a bad mascara.

Red

Here’s what I wore Wednesday February 7. Have I mentioned that I love the colour red? I love how fun and eye-catching this look is. I always feel great wearing colourful outfits.

Purple ombré

Here’s the make-up I wore Tuesday February 6. I usually wear just one lip colour, but I thought this subtle ombré lip was a bit of fun.

(Base: primer – Wet n Wild CoverAll primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Luminous + Smooth foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 15) + L’Oréal True Match concealer (shade: 1 Ivory), powders – Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit Light to Medium (shades: Banana + Vanilla) + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – Benefit Hoola bronzer, blusher – MAC Mineralize blush in Modest Blush, highlighter – NYX Strobe Of Genius illuminating palette (shades: 7 + 3).
