Here’s what I wore Friday April 19. This is the last look of my suit inspired week, so I had to wear a matching suit. I love this red checkered one and decided to style it with some western inspired pieces, and I really like how the look turned out.

I have a Lyko haul to share with you today, and it includes all new at the time Essence products.
Let’s begin with eye products. These are the Essence Meta Glow duo-chrome eye pencils in 01 Chromatic Love, 02 Chromefinity, and 03 Galactic Chrome. I always like trying out duochrome/multichrome products from affordable brands.
I also picked up these three liquid eyeshadows; the Dewy Eye Gloss liquid shadow in 02 Galaxy Gleam and two Luminous Eye Tint liquid eyeshadows in 04 Glazed Candy Cloud and 06 Sparkly Jade.
Let’s move on to some face/cheek products. I got the Banana loose powder, which I don’t know if I like. I think the shade is a little too dark on me. I love the Blush Crush! blushes though, and the Meta Glow highlighter is very nice as well.
Here’s a closer look at the Blush Crush! blushes. I chose the shades 50 Pink Pop and 60 Lovely Lilac, and I’m in love with the Pink Pop shade; it’s such a beautiful glowy, cool pink blush.
The Meta Glow highlighter is a pink-blue duochrome highlighter, and it’s actually very pretty.
Lastly, I purchased some nail polishes. I picked up the Meta Glow transforming top coat, the Glazed Donut transforming top coat, and two of the Glossy Jelly nail polishes in the shades 01 Summer Splash (purple) and 03 Sugar High (red).
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I think the blue, green, and gold/yellow colour combo on the eyes is very fun and quite pretty.

Here’s what I wore Wednesday April 17. I had to wear a look with a tie during my suit inspired outfit week, and this is an outfit I’ve had in mind for such a long time, so it was fun to finally wear it.

Can you believe that we’re already half way through 2024?! I can’t. Once again, this past month has been a month of ups and downs, but luckily I’ve got all of July off, and I’m definitely in need of a holiday. I’m hoping for nice, sunny weather, but you never know when you live in Denmark. July is not always the best summer month weather wise. Anyways, I actually had a lot of favourites this month, but I did manage to narrow it down to five, so let’s talk about those.
Tank tops: A few years back I wasn’t really into wearing tank tops, but recently my collection of tank tops have grown, and I’ve worn them so often this past month, often underneath another layer, but also on their own when the weather was nice.
Big flower brooches: I’ve been wanting some Carrie Bradshaw like big flower brooches for so long, and I finally came across these two (and a couple more actually). Carrie Bradshaw is one of my biggest style icons, and she’s one of my main outfit inspirations this summer, so these flower brooches are must haves.
L’Oréal Glotion natural glow enhancer (shade: 901 Fair Glow): There are a lot of products like this on the market, and I own a couple of different ones, but this one sets itself apart from the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter and its dupes in both the packaging and application, but also when it comes to the shade. This L’Oréal one is more of a cool toned pinky shade, whereas the others I’ve tried are more champagne or golden champagne, so I like to have different options, and I do think that the L’Oréal Glotionis stunning.
Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish pressed powder (shade: Soft Porcelain): I have to admit that I purchased this powder mainly for the beautiful packaging, however, I’ve found out that it’s a beautiful powder. It’s very lightweight and it just makes you skin look good.
Bridgerton – season 1 (TV series): I know, I know. How did it take me so long to watch the first season of Bridgerton. I don’t really know, but I do know that I’m so glad that I finally started watching this series, because I was hooked right away. I’ve already started watching season 2, and I’m excited to continue to follow the Bridgerton family.
I have a Zalando sale haul to share with you today. It includes one piece of clothing, two pairs of shoes, and some make-up bits.
The only clothing item in this haul is this shiny pink shirt from Monki, which I thought would be a nice layering piece.
These lime green mules are also from Monki. I already own them in dark grey denim, but I just love this kind of green colour so much, so I had to have this version as well.
You have no idea how much I wanted a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Litas back in the early 2010’s, but I was a teenager, and they were a little too expensive for me to buy back then. When I came across this multicoloured glitter pair at Zalando and saw that they were on sale, I purchased them immediately, and my teenage dream of owning a pair of Litas finally came true. I wore them in my latest outfit post.
Earlier this year MAC launched a collection based on their famous Teddy lipstick. I picked up the Lustreglass lipstick in Ready Teddy and the Deeply Teddy lip pencil. I’m wearing both on my lips here.
3ina makes really nice lip products. I had already tried the The Color Lip Glow formula and really liked it, so I picked up two more shades; 114 (Terracotta Brown) and 170 (Coral Red). I’d also been wanting to try the lipsticks just called The Lipstick, and I picked up the two shades 172 (Orange) and 430 (Cold Purple). These are very nice lipsticks too.
Lastly, I got the L’Oréal Infaillible 3-Second setting mist. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m definitely intrigued by it.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I actually like this look more than I originally thought I would, since it’s a bit more smokey and muted in the colours than what I typically tend to wear.

Here’s what I wore Tuesday April 16. Another suit inspired look that I love. I really like the neutral colours paired with the pop of aqua blue. And the shoes! Jeffrey Campbell Litas have been on my wishlist since they were first introduced back in 2010, but more about that in my next haul.
