Here’s what I wore Wednesday May 3. A very simple black and white (and blue) outfit, which sometimes is nice too, even though I love colours.

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The Jeffree Star Beauty Killer eye shadow palette was made for this glittery top, so I created this very colourful make-up look.

Here’s what I wore Saturday (night) April 22. We had a party at my dorm, and not a theme party for once, so I decided to go all out with glitter. It was also the perfect occasion to get some use out of my dinosaur bag, and in general I felt very comfortable, but still dressed up in this outfit.
(Culottes + top – H&M, bag – Asos, heels – second hand)

I haven’t done any (well, barely any) second hand shopping for a really long time, and I really want to get back into it. However, I did find these pink glitter heels at a second hand shop, and I had to have them. They were super inexpensive, and I wore them at a party shortly after I bought them. My next post will be pictures of that outfit.

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I had considered wearing a green lipstick with this outfit, but instead I decided to tone down my make-up and went for a brown monochrome look, and I love how it turned out.

Here’s what I wore Thursday April 20. I love pairing a denim skirt with a cute jumper. I’m especially loving the colour combination and fit of this jumper
(Skirt + jumper – H&M, sneakers – Missguided)

Last month I hauled some drugstore products including the L’Oréal False Lash Superstar Red Carpet Black mascara. I’ve been testing it, and here are my first impressions.

It’s a double-ended mascara with two steps. First, I applied step 1, which is a primer. It’s a white product, but it turns almost clear. It made my lashes look long and curled. After it had dried, I applied step 2; a regular black mascara. The mascara that got on to my eyelids during application was fairly easy to remove without ruining my eye shadow. The mascara looked nice, but I don’t think it was anything special. It transferred a bit to the top of my eyelids during the day, which seems to be a general problem for me (only few mascaras don’t transfer on me, e.g. my favourite Maybelline The Falsies). It held the curled very nicely (the primer might have something to do with that), and it was easy to remove with regular eye make-up remover. To be completely honest, I’m not the biggest fan of the mascara. I’ve tried ones that are much better.

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I kept my eye make-up very simple and let the bright red lipstick be the main focus.
(Base: primers – Benefit the POREfessional face primer + L’Oréal Lumi Magique Pure Light primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 15), powders – Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit Light to Medium (shades: Banana + Vanilla) + Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed powder (shade: 001 Transparent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – Benefit Hoola bronzer, blusher – the Balm FratBoy blusher, highlighter – Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Peach Goddess. Eyebrows – e.l.f. Clear Brow & Lash Mascara. Lips: MAC Redd lip pencil + MAC Vermillion Vee lipstick)

Here’s what I wore Wednesday April 19. I finally found a way of styling this bright red bomber; I think it looks great paired with light grey and light blue.

By tomorrow it’ll officially be summer. Last week felt like summer in Denmark, but right now it’s windy and rainy outside. May was yet another busy month; the exam period started and I had a big choir concert last week. June will continue to be all about exams, but it is nice to know that this is my last exam period, because I’m going to write my master’s thesis next semester. Even though I’ve been busy this month, I still had a lot of favourites, and here’s five of them.

Adidas Superstar 80s Primeknit sneakers: I bought these sneakers in a Black Friday sale last year, but because of the light knitted material and the cold Danish weather, I haven’t been able to wear until this spring. I’ve especially worn then a lot this past month, and I simply think they are awesome.

Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Eclipse: You probably know by now how much I love the Jeffree Star Skin Frosts, and this limited edition shade made in collaboration with Manny MUA is gorgeous. If Ice Cold and Peach Goddess had a baby, Eclipse would be it.

Homemade iced coffee: As I mentioned, I’m in the middle of the exam period, so I’ve been drinking a lot of coffee. In the beginning of the month, I decided to try to make my own iced coffee, and I’ve been obsessed ever since. It’s really easy to make (it’s just coffee, a bit of sugar, milk, and ice cubes) and it tastes so good.

Riverdale (TV series): I know I’m a little late to the party when it comes to this Netflix Original series, but better late than never. I didn’t really know what to expect (I don’t know much about Archie Comics), but I was extremely pleasantly surprised. I love crime solving series and some high school/love drama. Actually, I enjoyed this series so much that I watched it twice this month. I can’t wait for season 2!
Amar pelos Dois – Salvador Sobral: I love the Eurovision Song Contest, and I’ve watched it every year since I was little. I don’t always like the winning song, but this year my absolute favourite won. This is one of the most beautiful and moving songs, I’ve ever listened to and my favourite Eurovision winner of all time. Even though I don’t understand a single word (it’s in Portuguese) and still feel every single word, and I’ve been listening to this song on repeat ever since it won the contest. Please, take a few minutes and listen to this song if you haven’t already.
