Plums and purples

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I decided to go with plums and purples for this make-up look to match the lilac top.

Grey and lilac

Here’s what I wore Wednesday May 17. I think grey and lilac is such a nice colour combination, and I love the mix of different fabrics and textures in this outfit.

All pink everything

Lyserød velour T-shirt - AsosLyserøde sneakers - BershkaLyserøde sokker

My obsession with everything pink is still going strong, so a little while ago I bought these pink items on Asos. I couldn’t resist the T-shirt; it’s pink and it’s velvet (another obsession of mine). It’s a bit cropped and so cute. I’ve been wanting a pair of pink sneakers for such a long time, and now I finally got some. They’re from Bershka and I love the baby pink colour. Lastly, I bought some socks. I really like fun and cute socks, and I think they can add some quirkiness to an outfit. I been wanting to try out the fishnet trend, but instead of getting some black ones, I decided to get some bright pink ones. I wore them last week and I really liked them. The flamingo socks and palm tree socks come as a set, and I think the prints and colours are really pretty.

Very nude lips

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. As you can see, I wore a very nude lip, which I almost never do. It’s still not my favourite look, but I did get a compliment on my lipstick that day, so it can’t be that bad.

Kick flare love

Here’s what I wore Monday May 8. I’m really loving these kick flare jeans at the moment. There’s a ’70s vibe to them which I really like, and they make a simple outfit a bit more interesting.

Blinding cheeks and perfect lips

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Jeffree Star and Manny MUA did such a great job on their collaboration collection. As you can see, the highlighter is absolutely blinding and the lipstick in the shade I’m Shook is so gorgeous.

Subtle bell sleeves

Here’s what I wore Friday May 5. I love this dusty pink top; I think the subtle bell sleeves is such a nice touch, and I love the contrast between the long sleeve top and the mini skirt.

Film style icon: Holly Golightly

I’d like to start a series of posts about style icons from films. Watching films is one of my favourite pastimes, and I love being inspired by film fashion. I’ll start this series with the leading lady from one of my absolute favourite films; Holly Golightly (played by my favourite actress Audrey Hepburn) from Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961).

The most iconic Holly Golightly outfit is of course her little black dress paired with pearls, gloves, and big sun glasses. She made the LBD a wardrobe stable for most women, and I myself have been inspired by this look and worn a similar outfit at numerous costumes parties (here’s some pictures from the last time I dressed up as Miss Golightly).

One of my favourite Holly looks is this amazing all pink one. Even though we see Holly in a lot of neutral colours, she wears a couple of colourful outfits that are just stunning. This outfit speaks to me for several reasons, but the main reason why I love it is because of the colour (you probably know by now that I love pink).

Another colourful Holly Golighty outfit consists of this amazing orange coat paired with black and dark brown accessories. This look is very simple, but incredibly stylish.

Holly Golightly is not only inspiring when she’s all dressed up; this casual polo neck and black trousers combo is timeless.

The little black dress is not the only classic clothing item displayed in Breakfast at Tiffany’s; Holly Golightly rocked the beige trenchcoat as well. I used to wear my beige trenchcoat a lot, and now I really want to start wearing again.

Unusual colour combination

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Bronze and mint is probably an unusual colour combination, but that’s why I like it. One of the great things about make-up is that it easily comes off again, so why not experiment with different colours, finishes, and so on.
