Here’s what I wore Friday July 13. The yellow grass really shows how hot and dry this summer has been.

During my summer holiday, I went to quite a few second hand stores, and I found some great pieces, I would like to share with you.

I know it’s not autumn/winter yet, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start looking for jumpers. My favourite colour is purple, so I couldn’t leave this cute jumper behind.

One of the second hand stores I went to has a vintage section where I found this beautiful red blouse. I love the floral print and the high neck.

I thought this little blouse would look really cute tucked in to a high-waisted skirt or jeans. It might look really nice paired with slacks too.

And speaking of slacks, I found these super nice grey ones. They’re slightly cropped, and I think I’ll get a lot of wear out of them.

The item I’ve worn the most so far from this haul is definitely these high-waisted, black shorts. I’ve been look for a pair of shorts that wasn’t too short, and these are perfect.

How incredible is this dress! I found this in the same vintage section as the red blouse, and I just had to have it. I love everything about it, and I can’t wait to wear it.

I’ve found some more great second hand belts. I loved the fuchsia colour of the first one, and how fun is the red and white one with the anchor buckle! Great for maritime inspired looks.

Lastly, I found a bunch of beautiful scarfs. I want to start wearing more scarfs and in different ways, so I needed options.

Here’s what I wore Wednesday July 4. This is one of my favourite outfits, I’ve worn so far this year. Black, white, and red is one of my favourite colour combinations, and I think stripes and polka dots are a perfect match.

July has come to an end, and what a lovely relaxing and hot month. I’m back home from my holiday, and I’m going back to work next week. I’m also back to blogging more regularly, and I have some great hauls and outfits to share with you. But first, here are my 5 favourites from the month of July.

Red bucket bag: Topshop did an amazing job with this bag. I love the colour and shape, and it holds so much stuff. I also love that you can wear it as either a hand bag or a shoulder bag.

Straw hat: This hat has been great for sun protection, and at the same time, it’s a perfect summer accessory.

Big hair clips: These types of hair clips are very trendy right now, and I see why. They make doing your hair super easy, and they look cute too.

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill eyeshadow palette: This has been my go-to palette since I got it. You can create endless amounts of looks with it, and the shades are pigmented and really easy to blend. This is definitely a new stable in my make-up collection.

The Breakfast Club (film): I’ve been wanting to watch this ’80s classic for years, and when I finally got the chance a week or so ago, I was not disappointed. If you like ’80s teen films, this is an absolute must-see. I would say that if you’re a film fan in general, this is a must-see.

Here’s what I wore Friday June 29. I’ve gotten a lot of use out of this second hand gingham top this past month, and I’ve mainly been wearing it like in these pictures; tied in a knot in the front.

Here’s what I wore Monday June 18. I found another way of styling this shirt, and I love how colourful this outfit is!

Here’s what I wore Friday June 8. It was another hot day and a perfect occasion to wear this cute, white skirt. I paired it with neutral colours, which is unlike me, but I really like this outfit.

Here’s the second part of my collective second hand haul: the accessories. You can check out the clothes part here.

Before my love for shoes really kicked in, I loved bags, and I rediscovered my love for bags recently. Second hand stores are great places to shop for bags, because you can usually find som fun and different ones. The first bag I found was the little brown shoulder bag. I love the shape, and you can never have to many little shoulder bags. On the other hand, I’ve been wanting to get into hand bags again, and how cute is the pastel striped one! It’s the perfect little summer bag. Lastly, I found the coolest cow print bag. I can’t wait to style this one with the right outfit.

I also found this simple wide brim straw hat, which is perfect for this time of year, and I didn’t have a classic straw hat in my hat collection.

I’m always looking for belts, when I’m second hand shopping, but I haven’t had any luck finding any in years. Maybe my luck has changed, because I recently found this nice purple one.

I’ve also started looking for brooches/pins, and how pretty is this one. I think adding a brooch to an outfit can be such a nice little detail.

Here’s what I wore Thursday June 7. It was actually too hot to wear a jacket that day, but this Pluto denim jacket is just so cute and it looked great with this outfit.

Here’s what I wore Saturday June 2. I love mixing patterns, and even though leopard print and floral print are two very bold prints, I think they look great together.
