Here’s what I wore Thursday September 21. As I’ve mentioned before, I love a suit-inspired look, and I thought that this gorgeous colourful shirt would really pop when worn with a black suit (or a black blazer and black slacks).

(Blazer – H&M, trousers – Primark, shirt – second hand, creepers – The Fabulous Creepers)

Pinky/rosy

Here’s what I wore Wednesday September 20. I hadn’t worn my pink bomber jacket in a long time, and I love it matched with other pastel colours and light blue denim.

Tassels

Tassel earrings have been everywhere for a while now, and luckily I have a very creative sister, who made these pretty tassel earrings for me. She used old buttons for the actual earring part which make them really unique, and I can’t wait to wear these with tons of different outfits.

Grey monochrome

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I really love monochrome make-up looks, and a grey monochrome look seemed to be the perfect match for my navy and grey outfit.

(Base: primers – e.l.f. Blemish Control Face Primer + Wet n Wild CoverAll primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 15) + L’Oréal True Match concealer (shade: 1 Ivory), powders – Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit Light to Medium (shades: Banana + Vanilla) + Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed powder (shade: 001 Transparent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing powder (shade: 02 fair matte), blusher – MAC Mineralize blush in Modest Blush, highlighter – Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Ice Cold. Navy and grey

Here’s what I wore Monday September 18. As you can see, I went for a navy and grey colour scheme, and I love how it looks. I’m especially obsessed with the navy pointy shoes and grey polka dot socks combo.

(Jeans – Monki, shirt – second hand, jumper + socks – H&M, shoes – Zara)

Silver shadow

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’ve never worn silver eye shadow all over my eyelids before, but I thought it was fun to try something different and it matched the silver skirt I wore that day.

(Base: primers – e.l.f. Blemish Control Face Primer + Wet n Wild CoverAll primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 15) + L’Oréal True Match concealer (shade: 1 Ivory), powders – Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit Light to Medium (shades: Banana + Vanilla) + Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed powder (shade: 001 Transparent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing powder (shade: 02 fair matte), blusher – NARS Sarah Moon Cheek & Lip palette in True Story (shade: Unwritten), highlighter – NARS Silver Factory illuminator. Perfect length

DSC_3552rediDSC_3551redi

Here’s what I wore Friday September 15. I’ve had this skirt for quite a while, but I hadn’t worn it because I thought it was too long. Luckily for me, my sister can sew and now it’s the perfect length.

(Skirt + jumper – H&M, sneakers – Adidas)

5 favourites – October

October has come to an end which means that in only one month it’ll finally be December. October was a very busy month for me; I’ve been working hard on my master’s thesis and I also went on a choir trip to Helsinki. In November my main focus will definitely be my thesis, and I’m pretty sure that December will be here in no time then. But first, here are some of my favourite things from the month of October.

Bordeauxrøde 'herre'sko - Duffy

Burgundy Oxford style shoes by Duffy: I bought these shoes years ago, but I hadn’t really worn them much. I started wearing them more this year, and this past month I’ve been wearing them a lot. I love the dark burgundy colour and the chunky soles.

Belsac taske (second hand)

Warm beige shoulder bag by Belsac: I bought this bag at a second hand store in July, and I decided to bring it with my to Helsinki earlier this month. It was the perfect sized bag for a 5 day trip, and as I’ve mentioned before I love the colour and shape of it.

DSC_3702

Juvia’s Place The Saharan eye shadow palette: I expressed my love for this palette in my last post. It’s so gorgeous, and I’m really looking forward to play around with it even more.

FunnyGirl-W

Funny Girl (film): I’d been wanting to watch this film for ages, and I finally got to this month. I started watching it in Helsinki with one of the girls from the choir, and then we watched the rest in Helsinki and Riga airport respectively on our way back home. I already new and loved the music, and Barbra Streissand and Omar Sharif did such an amazing job portraying Fanny Brice and Nick Arnstein.

A.C. Perch Afternoon te

A. C. Perch Afternoon blend tea: When my mum visisted me in the beginning of October, we went to a beautiful tea house and had delicious tea, scones, and petit fours. We tried two different types of tea and our favourite was the Afternoon blend which we purchased a bag of each to take home, so I’ve been drinking a lot of it since.
