It’s the last official day of summer today (at least calendar wise), and I have to admit that I’m really looking forward to more autumnal weather. I just find it a lot easier and more fun to get dressed for autumn, because you can layer up and work with different textures. However, when that’s said I’ve enjoyed the summer, and we’ve had incredible weather in Denmark this past week. So let’s wrap up this summer with some August favourites.
Garfield print cropped jeans: I’ve been obsessed with these jeans ever since I bought them; they’re just the perfect pair of summer jeans. I love the fit and the cute Garfield print.
Black mule sandals: I bought these sandals last summer, and I did wear them then, but I’ve gotten even more use out of them this summer; especially in August. They’re really comfortable and they go with everything.
L.A. Girl Shockwave Neon eyeliners: I love wearing a bright eyeliner in my waterline, and these ones are super affordable and so good! They’re pigmented and they last all day.
e.l.f. Brow Pencil (shade: Neutral Brown): I finally decided to try to spend a bit more time on my brows, so I thought I would give a brow pencil a go, and since I love the e.l.f. clear brow gel so much, I decided to try out this e.l.f. brow pencil. As it turns out, I really like this. It’s really easy to use, and I think my brows have looked really good lately.
Django Unchained (film): I’ve been wanting to watch Django Unchained for years, but I have to be in the mood to watch a Tarantino film. It was exactly what I was a few weeks back, and I was surprised by how much I liked this film. But then again with great performances by Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, and Leonardo DiCaprio, what’s not to like.
Very random haul
I have a small, very random haul to share with you. It consists of a couple of things that I’ve bought online and a few birthday presents.
I can’t resist clothing with Disney print. I’ve always loved Lady and the Tramp, so I had to have this T-shirt from New Look.
Something else I can’t resist is a new pair of Nike Cortez sneakers. This is my fourth pair and probably not my last pair.
One of my sisters gave me these cute second hand shoes for my birthday. I love the colourful check print and the sheer fabric.
I love my Trollbeads bangle and ring, so I love getting new beads. My parents gave me these three for my birthday, and they’re so pretty.

Day of meetings in pink
Here’s what I wore Wednesday August 7. I had a full day of meetings at work, which was a little tough, but this pink outfit made the day a bit more fun.

Feelunique haul
I’ve made one or two orders from Feelunique before, but I needed a back-up of my Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray, so I thought I would pick up a few other things as well.
Besides the UD setting spray, I also purchased another setting spray; the Maybelline Lasting Fix setting spray. I haven’t tried it before, and I’m planning on doing a first impressions post on it. From L’Oréal I bought two back-ups of the Infaillible More Than Concealer concealer. It’s definitely become one of my favourite concealers. I also decided to give the Infaillible Shaping Stick foundation a try. I’ll definitely do a first impressions post on that. Lastly, I purchased my first ever product from Lime Crime. I fell in love with the pumpkin orange colour of this lipstick, and it’s called October which is a very fitting name.
Autumnal skirt in summer
Here’s what I wore Tuesday August 6. Even though this skirt seem more autumnal due to the colour scheme, I think it works great in the summer too, especially paired with a cute top such as this green floral one.

Oversized
Here’s what I wore Monday August 5. I had a really hard time figuring out how to style this oversized T-shirt (dress), but then I pulled out my trusty old black culottes, and they turned out to be just right.
