Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I think this purple sunset inspired eye look turned out so pretty. I really should do a look like this again soon.

Matching New Year’s Eve look

Here’s the make-up I wore with my New Year’s Eve outfit. I went for black and silver on my eyes to match my sparkly outfit, and then I paired it with a fun berry/magenta lip which matched my New Year’s Eve nails. I had so much fun creating this look and creating something different from all my Christmassy looks.

New Year’s Eve in sequins

Here’s what I wore on New Year’s Eve. I think I hauled this sequins set in spring last year, and I couldn’t find a better night to wear it than on New Year’s Eve. I paired the set with some black heels, sparkly earrings, and of course a little, matching party hat (party hats are a must at most Danish New Year’s Eve parties).

New Year’s Eve nails

I hope everyone had a great start to the new year. I’ve been unpacking from my holiday and putting away all of my Christmas decorations, so I don’t have a lot of time to blog today. That’s why I decided to post my New Year’s Eve nails today and save my outfit and make-up for tomorrow. I really like how my nails turned out; they were a perfect match for my New Year’s Eve look.

5 favourites – December

Happy New Year! 2021 has just flown by so quickly. Once again, it was a year which was far from normal; it definitely had its ups and downs. I’m trying to accept that the virus won’t disappear for a while, and I’ll also try to get the best out of life despite of that. But on a happier note, I’ve had a lovely Christmas and Christmas holiday, and I’m excited to spend the lasts day of the year with my nearest family and my boyfriend. So let’s say goodbye to 2021 with some December favourites.

Red wool coat (H&M): This red wool coat has been my go-to outerwear throughout December. It’s just so festive and a perfect pop of colour in these dark months. I’ll definitely continue to wear it in the new year.

I Heart Revolution x Elf collection primer: As you might have noticed in my make-up posts in December, this primer has probably been my most used one. It gives the skin this beautiful, subtle golden glow, which has been perfect for all my Christmassy make-up looks.

Rimmel The Multi-Tasker concealer (shade: 020 Fair): In late November I did a first impressions post on this concealer, and my first impressions were really good. I’ve continued to use it, and I enjoy it even more now. I still don’t think that it’ll beat my L’Oréal Infaillible concealer, but it’s almost as good, and it’s nice to have some great concealer options to chose from.

BH Cosmetics Miss Claus The Lit List palette: In my 5 favourites from December last year, I featured the BH Cosmetics Naughty palette, which was from the 2020 holiday collection from BH Cosmetics. That palette has continued to be a favourite of mine, so I was super excited to try the big 2021 holiday palette from BH Cosmetics to see if it would be just as good as the Naughty palette. I can reveal that it is just as good. It’s the same great quality, and I love the colour story as well. This is also the palette I brought with me on my Christmas holiday, because it’s perfect for both Christmas and New Year’s looks.

Wavy hair: It’s been a long time since I last featured a hair style/do in a 5 favourites post, but as you might have noticed, I’ve been obsessed with wavy hair in December. I initially began to plait my hair at night after I washed it, because I hate blow drying my hair and I don’t want weird folds in my hair from my pillow. I then sleep with my hair in the plait and take it out the next morning, and my hair looks nice and wavy, which is a nice change since my hair is as straight as it comes. I don’t know if I’ll continue to do this on a regular basis, but definitely every once in a while.

Eyeshadow wings

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I almost never do a wing, but I really like how the wings turned out with this eye look. I just used a brown eyeshadow which is a lot easier than using a liquid eyeliner.

(Base: primer – Essence Prime+ Studio Poreless + Skin Blurring putty primer, foundation – L’Oreal Paris Infaillible 24H Fresh Wear foundation (shade: 015 Porcelain), concealers – e.l.f. 16HR Camo matte concealers (shades: Light Sand + Fair Warm), powders – MAC Studio Fix Sculpt And Shape contour palette Light/Medium (shade: Emphasize + Cream) + Beauty Bakerie Flour setting powder in Oat (translucent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – MAC Studio Fix Sculpt And Shape contour palette Light/Medium (shade: Taupe) + KimChi Chic Beauty Thailor bronzer in 01 I Went to Malibu, blusher – Too Faced Love Flush Water Colour blush in No Ordinary Love, highlighter – Soda #babygethigher Pressed Highlighter in 102. Eye make-up: base – Milani eyeshadow primer in 01 Nude, eyeshadows – Wet n Wild Ice Cream Bee palette (shades: You Got Soft Served + Waffley Cute + Mint To Be + Pistachio & Love + Anything Is Popsicle + The Fudging Best + It’s Sherbert Day), mascara – L’Oréal Paradise Extactic mascara in 01 Sandalwood Wonder, eyeliner – MUA Intense Glitter eyeliner in Jade Jewel. Eyebrows: Essence #pinkandproud Strong soapy brow styler (01 Stronger Than Yesterday!). Lips: NYX Slim lip pencil in Plush Red + Catrice Full Satin lipstick in 080 Full Of Life)

Back to summer

Here’s what I wore Thursday July 8. I’m back to posting summer outfits, and this is an outfit I wore in the beginning of my summer holiday. However, I will of course post my New Year’s Eve look in the beginning of the new year.

MAC haul – Botanic Panic + summer sale

I have a MAC haul to share with you today. This haul consists of a couple of products from the 2021 summer collection, Botanic Panic, and some summer sale items.

Let’s start with the two products I purchased from the Botanic Panic collection. I picked up the Extra Dimension Skin Finish in Fleur Sure, which is definitely a highlighter even though it comes in a smaller compact (the blush sized compact). I don’t mind though, since you almost never use up an entire highlighter. I also had to get one of the lipsticks and I chose the purple shade called Forget-Me-Naughty.

In the summer sale I picked up a back up of the Cherry Blossom scented Fix+ (this one is from the 2021 Black Cherry spring collection). I also picked up two Powder Kiss lipsticks and a Love Me lipstick.

The Powder Kiss lipsticks are in the shades Ripened and P For Potent.

And the Love Me lipstick is in the shade DGAF.

These last three products were free gifts with purchase. I can already say that I love the Magic Extension mascara, but I’ll be doing a first impressions post on it as well at some point.

I also got the Black Cherry Glow Play lip balm in Pinking of You. The Glow Play lip balms are very nice if you like coloured balms.

And the last gift I got with my order was the Lip Scrubtious in Candied Nectar. It smells delicious, and I really like the consistency as well.
