Dancing lights

Here’s the make-up I wore with my New Year’s Eve outfit. I love how this look turned out. Especially the eye look, but the lip is fun too.

A little hard to work with

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I really like the idea of this eye look, but the shadows were a little hard to work with, which I wasn’t expecting from a Lethal Cosmetics palette.

Mostly merry

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I thought a cool-toned neutral/silver eye look paired with a red lip was fitting for the outfit.

Collective haul – the rest (October 2025)

I have my other collective haul from October to share with you today. This one includes clothes, shoes, and accessories.

Let’s begin with the two Christmas clothing pieces I purchased this year. The sweater vest is from VRS (a supermarket brand), and I bought it in a bigger size, so I could fit my growing bump in there. The grey jumper is actually a second hand find, and I think it’s really cute.

Moving on to some more second hand pieces. I got these three jackets; a patterned cropped denim jacket, a slightly slouchy checkered jacket, and a fun and colourful blazer. My mum actually got me the colourful blazer.

These are the other four tops that I found second hand. The oversized red cardigan is so nice, and I’ve also worn it this holiday season. And I have a weakness for second hand/vintage patterned shirts, and I think both the grey one and the yellow one are so fun, and I’m excited to style them up. I have an orange top in the same style and from the same brand as the dark purple one, and I think they really fun pieces. I love the texture, the shine, and the beading.

You have seen me wear the red floral skirt a couple of times during this past month, and when I bought it, I knew that it would be great for Christmas parties/get-togethers. The red dress was given to me by an acquaintance, and I’m excited to wear it once I’m not pregnant anymore.

I’ve got two pairs of shoes to share with you. How could I pass on the Mickey and Friends Crocs? They were quite expensive on some websites, but I did manage to find them on sale. And I like a bit of a western-inspired shoe, and I just really liked these denim mules from Raid.

Lastly, I picked up these four pieces of jewellery. The flower brooch is a charity brooch for cancer that is released in a slightly different variation each year in Denmark. I think mine is broken though, which is sad, because I only got to wear it once. The blue pearl necklace, the pearl bracelet, and the Christmas tree brooch are all second hand pieces.

More shiny and glam

Here’s the make-up I wore with my Christmas Eve outfit. Obviously, I had to wear a green eyes and red lips look on Christmas Eve, and I love this more shiny and glam version.

Catrice Twinkling Treasures advent calendar 2025

I was quite impressed by the Catrice advent calendar from last year, so I decided to buy it again this year. It’s called the Twinkling Treasures advent calendar 2025, and I really like that the items come in a reusable make-up bag. As per usual, I’m going through the products six at a time.

The first six items were a blush in C01 Baked Apple Pink, a lipgloss stick in C01 Merry Me?, a highlighter glow stick in C01 Glow Ho Ho, a mono eyeshadow in C01 Starlight Sparkle, a charm ring in C01 Christmas Charms, and a Glam & Doll volume mini mascara in C01 Holly Glam.

The only one of these items that I’ve tried so far is the blush, and I really liked it. I think these baked glowy blushes from Catrice are really nice. I’m excited to try the eyeshadow as well.

The next six products were a lip mask in C01 Star Glaze, a nail lacquer in C01 Winter Blossom, a powder puff in C01 Touch of Treasure, a lipliner in C01 Snowy Rose, a juicy lip balm in C01 Champagne Fizz, and another nail lacquer in C02 Golden Bell.

The lip mask is supposed to go on the charm ring. A bit gimmicky, but also kind of cute. I usually like the nail lacquers from Catrice, so I’m excited to try these new shades. The lip liner is similar to a lip liner shade we got in the 2024 calendar, but I like that they included new types of lip products, like the juicy lip balms, in this year’s calendar.

The second to last set of six products were an eyepencil in C02 Golden Eye, a peptide lip tint in 01 Merry Night Shine, a lipliner in C02 Winterberry, a highlighter in C01 Holly Jolly Shine, a kabuki brush in C01 Festive, and another eyepencil in C01 Ruby Noel.

They also included a berry coloured lipliner in last year’s calendar, so once again, I wish that they would have done something a little different with the shades of the lip products this year. I really enjoyed one of the eyepencils from last year’s calendar, so I like that they included eyepencils again this year, but in different shades. The highlighter is in that baked formula again, and it’s quite nice.

The last six products were an eyeshadow brush in C01 Midnight Glamour, a blush stick in C01 Candy Cane, a liquid eyeshadow in C01 Golden Treasure, a juicy lip balm in C02 Burgundy Bliss, a nail lacquer in C03 Holly Night, and a jelly eyeshadow topper in C01 Twinkling Crystal.

I haven’t tried any of these products yet, but I like that they included different kinds of eyeshadow products.

Overall, I’m very happy with this calendar. I love that it includes only a few non make-up products. If I could make one wish for future Catrice advent calendars, it would be that they changed up the shades of lip products, and did something other than nudes and berries.
