I wrote in my New Year’s Eve make-up post that I would tell you more about my make-up Christmas presents and here they are. I got three MAC products; two eye shadows and a lipstick.
The eye shadows I got are Mythology (on the left) and All That Glitters (on the right). Mythology has a lustre finish and the colour is simply described as a copper and it’s a gorgeous shade. All That Glitters has a veluxe pearl finish and is described as a beige with gold pearl. It’s one of the those shades that goes with anything. So pretty.
You’ve already seen the lipstick in action, but here it is before I wore it. It’s called Matte Royal and it has a matte finish (obviously). It came out with the Matte Lip Collection, and I’m actually not sure if the collection is permanent or not, but I’m so happy I got this amazing blue lipstick for Christmas.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. It was the first time I tried out my Wet n Wild eye shadow palette. I went straight to the green shades, and I love how the look turned out. On my lips I’m wearing my NYX High Voltage lipstick that I bought at the same time as the Wet n Wild eye shadow palette, and I really like it. The colour is right up my alley.

I kind of mixed up the order of my outfits and make-up looks, because I wanted to show you my Christmas and New Year’s looks shortly after I’d worn them, but now I’m going back to where I ‘left off’. I wore this make-up look Thursday December 3. I think I wore this look the same week as a blue eye shadow look and another more colourful eye look if I remember correctly. At least I remember having a week where I just really felt like playing around with colour on my eyes.

Here’s the make-up I wore on New Years Eve (with this outfit). How cool is that blue lipstick! It’s Matte Royal by MAC which I’ve been drooling over the past many times I’ve been to one of my local MAC counters. It was a Christmas present from my cousin, and I’ll tell you more about my make-up Christmas presents some other time. As you can probably see I wore false lashes with this look, and even though they might not look that good in this picture (most likely because I’m looking Down), I actually think they looked quite nice in real life. I’m really looking forward to play around more with false lashes and blue lipstick.

I can’t believe that December has already come to an end. As I mentioned last month December is my favourite month, and this December was another great one. I was in a Christmas mood all through the past month until a few days ago. Now I’m studying for my exams, and that’s pretty much all January is going to be about; exams! But first I’m going to celebrate the new year, and I hope you’re all going to have an awesome night. But first, here’s some of my favourite things from the lovely month of December.
L’Oréal Lumi Magique Pure Light primer: This primer gives you the most gorgeous glowy skin, and I’ve been loving glowy skin this past month, probably because I find it extra appropriate for Christmas time.
Wet n Wild Color Icon eye shadow palette in Comfort Zone:As I mentioned here, I’d been wanting to try out Wet n Wild eye shadows for such a long time, and I’ve been wanting this palette in particular, and I’m not dissappointed. The quality is amazing considered the price, and I’m especially loving the green shades.
McBusted – The Story of the Worlds Biggest Supergroup (book): I’m not big on reading, unless the book is about one of my favourite bands. I got the book on my gift Advent calendar, and I was hooked from the very first page. I haven’t finished the book yet, because I’ve been studying for my exams and playing a certain computer game in my spare time, but I’m really looking forward to reading the last pages.
The Sims 4 Get Together (computer game): For my birthday in August I got The Sims 4 base game and the Get To Work expansion pack, and one of the things I wished for the most this Christmas was the new Get Together expansion pack, and I was lucky enough to get it. I just wanna play The Sims 4 all the time, but unfortunately I have some exams to study for which is just a bit more important than playing The Sims:)
Christmas – Michael Bublé (album): I love Christmas music and I love Michael Bublé, and again this year I’ve listened to his Christmas album countless times. Among my favourites are It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas, Holly Jolly Christmas, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, and I’ll Be Home For Christmas.
On Cyber Monday I went onto the Danish online beauty store Cocopanda.dk to buy a Christmas present for my youngest sister, and there were so many good deals, so I ended up buying a couple of things for myself. I’ve been wanting to try out Wet n Wild eye shadows for such a long time, and I love this Comfort Zone palette. I also picked up a couple more NYX products, and some Ardell half lashes, because I want to play around with lashes a bit more. And of course I had to pick up a back up of my beloved Real Techniques sponge.
Here’s the make-up I wore with my Christmas Eve outfit. I went with a subtle gold/brown eye make-up, glowy skin, and my Christmas lipstick as I like to call it, Sparks of Romance by MAC.

Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Collection (shades: Milk Chocolate + Créme Brulee + Hazelnut ) + the Balm Mary-Lou Manizer on browbone, mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – Sephora Long lasting kohl pencil in 07 Infinite beige. Lips: Rimmel Universal Transparent Lipliner in 001 Universal + MAC Sparks of Romance lipstick)
Merry Christmas! I hope you’re all having a wonderful time. In Denmark we celebrate Christmas on the 24th, so that’s why I didn’t blog yesterday. I spend yesterday with my family, and I had a lovely time. Here’s a little sneak peek of my Christmas outfit. I’ll post the full outfit and make-up look soon.
Here’s the make-up I wore Wednesday December 2. Another blue eye look that I really like. Not the most Christmassy look (it actually reminds of summer), but I felt like wearing bright colours that day.
(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – MUA Ever After matte eye shadow palette (shade: Fade) + Rimmel Glam’eyes HD eye shadow quad in 003 Royal Blue (shades: 2 + 3 + 1) + Mineralize Skin Finish in Lightscapade on browbone, mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – Gosh Velvet Touch eyeliner in 001 Blue Moon.
