Summery H&M haul

It’s time for another H&M haul (it’s been alomst 4 months since my last H&M haul), and this one is a pretty summery one.

Hvid T-shirt m. Mickey og Minnie Mouse print - H&M

My soft spot for Disney clothing will probably never go away. This cute Mickey and Minne Mouse T-shirt has a slightly oversized fit, and I love the pop of lilac (it goes very well with a pair of trousers you’ll see further down in the haul).

Mørkegul tanktop - H&M

I don’t remember the last time I bought and wore a tank top/vest, but there’s something about this dark yellow colour and the shape that has a retro vibe to it, so I decided to give a go. I’ve already worn it a couple of times, and I really like it.

Hvid crop top m. citronprint - H&MHvid midi nederdel m. citronprint - H&M

How cute is this lemon set! As soon as I saw the skirt, I knew I had to have it. It’s the same style as my black and white polka dot skirt that I love so much. And I love that you could get a matching top; when worn together they almost look like a dress. I haven’t actually worn it yet, but I’m planning on wearing it for a special occation next week.

Lavendel bukser m. vide - H&M

And on to the trousers that go so well with the Mickey and Minnie T-shirt. I’ve been wanting these wide leg lilac trousers since I first saw them, and when they went on sale, I finally puchased them. The sizing is on the bigger size, so I bought them one size smaller than I usually would, and that was a good choice. They are also a little sheer, so I’ve worn them with white cycle shorts underneath.

And now on to accessories. I obviously had to have the cute lemon earrings to go with the lemon set. I’ve also been wanting some rhinestone hoops, and the pack with three different sizes is pretty much exactly what I’d been looking for. Lastly (in terms of ear jewellery), I thought it would be fun to play with earcuffs, since I only have hole in each ear lobe, so I bought this pack of a bunch of different earrings and earcuffs.

Armbånd (2 pk) fra H&MAnkelkæde fra H&M

I also bought some golden bracelets and a golden ankle bracelet/anklet (what’s the right term?), because I wanted some more golden jewellery options.

Sort flettet hårbøjle

The last accessory I bought is this black braided headband. I didn’t have a simple black headband, and I thought this one was cute.

H&M neglelakker

An last but not least, I purchased three nail polishes. H&M nail polishes are actually really good, and I love these three colours. The first one which looks a bit like an oil slick in the bottle (though it’s more golden in real life) is called Precious, the green metallic one is called Persephone, and the yellow one it called Cream Saffron. I thought these were really nice summery colours.

Collective haul: drugstore + MAC

I’ve been doing quite a bit of make-up shopping lately, so for this haul you get two hauls in one; a small drugstore haul and a MAC lip product haul.

DSC_0815

Here are a few drugtstore pieces, I’ve picked up recently. I love EOS lip balms, and I’ve been wanted to try out the sticks and found this set of two lip balm sticks in the vanilla bean scent. I love vanilla scented things, and the scent of these lip balms is one of my favourite vanilla scents in a product. They smell like vanilla ice cream, which is so delicious! I’d never heard of the Rimmel Clear Complexion Clarifying Powder before. It claims to minimize breakouts (!), control shine, and mattify the skin. I actually haven’t tried it out yet, but if it actually minimizes breakouts, it’s a winner. I thought it was time to try out a new eyebrow pencil, and I’ve heard good things about the Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim pencil, so I picked it up in the shade 04 Medium Brown. I’m going to try it for the first time tomorrow. The last thing I purchased in the drugstore section is the Wet n Wild Prime Focus Primer Serum. I’ve already used it a couple of times, and so far I like it.

DSC_0981

MAC lipticks are some of my absolute favourites, so I purchased a few more recently. I also purchased a lipglass, which is very unlike me, since I rarely wear a glossy lip, but all of a sudden, I’m kind of into it.

DSC_0912

So the lipglass I picked up is the classic red shade Ruby Woo. This one is from the limited edition collection Luna Illusions from earlier this year, so obviously the packaging is really pretty. It was on sale too, which is why I decided to get it. Red is my go-to lip colour, so I thought it would be nice to be able to make a red lip glossy. I’ve worn this once so far, and I loved the way it looked. I found it quite comfortable to wear too.

DSC_0924

I’ve been wanting a very warm, yellow-based nude brown lipstick for a long time, and I finally found it in the lipstick called Kinkster. The picture doesn’t do the colour justice, but you’ll see it in action soon. This lipstick is apparently from some nude lipstick collection I didn’t know about, but I’m really glad I found it.

DSC_0990

I decided to get another shade from the Bronzing collection. This is the shade A La Plage and it’s a lustre finish lipstick, which I haven’t owned from MAC before. It’s quite sheer and glossy, which is the complete opposite of what I usually go for when it comes to lipstick, but as I wrote earlier on I’m kind of into a glossy lip these days, and this shade is really pretty.

DSC_0921

Last, but not least, I had to have the MAC Maker Barbie collaboration lipstick. I loved Barbies as a child, and this is the perfect Barbie pink lipstick. This is not a colour I usually wear, but I like it a lot more than I thought I would.

5 favourites – May

By tomorrow it’ll officially be summer (calendar-wise), and I’m really excited about that. Especially because the weather has gotten warmer and sunnier. Things are also looking up when it comes to the lock down; lots of things are opening up again, and I might be going in to work again soon. I actually went to work last Monday, but I wasn’t teaching, but hopefully soon I will. I had so many favourites this month, but I managed to narrow them down to just five, so here they are.

DSC_4220

RCMA No-Color powder: I bought this powder about two years ago, and I did a first impressions post on it. I liked it back then, but I didn’t find it to be anything particularly special, and I kind of forgot about it. However, I recently dug out forgotten products from my make-up collection with the intent of using them to find out whether I wanted to keep them or not, and I definitely found some duds, but I also rediscovered really good products e.g. this powder. I don’t know what have changed, but I’m suddenly really loving this powder.

DSC_0712

MAC Rose-gilded eyeshadow palette: I briefly mentioned this palette in my latest haul, and I wrote that I would be talking more about it soon. The time has come. This palette has two fantastic eyeshadow formulas that are different to the regular MAC eyeshadow formulas. The formulas are called creamy matte and molten foil and both are super pigmented and very blendable. The shades are stunning too, and I think I’ve created some beautiful looks with this palette (which I’ll be posting soon).

DSC_0245

Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r – Instant Warmth bronzer (shade: Inda Sun): I had a feeling that this bronzer would become a favourite. There’s not much to say about this product other than the formula is great; it blends out beautifully and looks stunning on the skin.

DSC_1137

Earring holder: I bought this earring holder from Flying Tiger earlier this month, and it holds up to 48 pairs of earrings. I love having most of my earrings in one place (except for the really big ones), and it spins so it’s easy to get to every single pair.

Unlock

Unlock (game): I love board games and card games (I guess this is a hybrid), and I tried Unlock for the first time at a board game café in February and thought it was a lot of fun. It’s an escape room kind of game, so if you like those, you’ll most definitely like Unlock. There are 7 different versions and this is the newest version (Epic Adventures). I bought it for a casual at-home date night with my boyfriend, and we both really enjoyed playing this game.

Small collective Zalando haul

I purchased a few things from Zalando over the past month or so that I thought I would share with you in this little collective haul.

Beige flettede kitten heel sandaler - Stradivarius

I’d been wanting these cute heels from Stradivarius since I first saw them, but they kept selling out in this beige colour (they also came in light green and light blue, but I’m not sure if they’re still available). Suddenly they were back in stock and I managed to get them. I can imagine wearing them with so many cute summer outfits.

Hvide Air Force 1 m. regnbuefarvet + lilla og neongule detaljer - Nike

And on to another pair of shoes, and it was love at first sight with these. These Nike Air Force 1’s has my name written all over them; they have rainbow details and purple details, so they were pretty much made for me.

Beige stråtaske formet som muslingeskal - Topshop

I’ve been wanting a straw bag since last summer, and I finally found the one for me; this adorable shell shaped one for Topshop. I’m sure it’s going to be the perfect summer bag.

DSC_0700DSC_0712

And lastly, I purchased the MAC Rose-Gilded eyeshadow palette. I hadn’t really heard anything about this palette, but I don’t think it was available in Scandinavia (maybe not anywhere else in Europe either) when it launched. I’ll be talking more about this palette in an upcoming post, but I can reveal that it is incredible.

New MAC LE collections; Bronzing & Mosaic Masterpiece

DSC_0600

MAC recently launched two new limited edition collections, and I purchased a few items from each collection (obviously). The collections are the Bronzing collection (bronze packaging) and the Mosaic Masterpiece collection (blue packaging).

DSC_0608

The first product I got from the Bronzing collection is the Stobe Face Glaze in the shade Let’s Make Waves. I don’t know if MAC has come out with this product before this collection, but I hadn’t seen it before. I actually wore it for the first time today, and it is such a unique product. It looks wet on the skin, but at the same time it’s super glowy, and it’s absolutely stunning! I’m really excited about this product, and I think it should become a part of MAC’s permanent collection.

DSC_0619

I also got one of the bronzers from the collection. It’s called a Radiant Matte bronzing powder, and I got the lightest shade in Beige-ing Beauty. It’s a very pigmented powder, so a little goes a long way. The shade is really pretty, and I think it looks very nice on the skin.

DSC_0633

And of course I had to get one of the lipsticks. I chose the shade Cote D’Amour which is a bright fuchsia shade in the amplified finish.

DSC_0645

From the Mosaic Masterpiece collection I had to get the Extra Dimension skinfinish. I mean, look at the packaging and the pattern in the actual powder. Gorgeous! The shade is Whisper of Gilt which is a cult favourite that I didn’t already own.

DSC_0654

And of course I had to get a lipstick from this collection as well. This is in the shade Tendercotta and it has a matte finish. I have already worn this, and I love it. It’s pretty much the perfect shade of brown for a lipstick in my opinion.

MAC spring sale haul

DSC_0335

A couple of weeks ago MAC had spring sale, so I obviously got a few things. First of all I got another Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Double Gleam in the limited edition packaging from the Lunar Illusions collection. I know it’s crazy, but I love that highlighter so much, and I was sad about ruining the beautiful dragon design, so I bought an extra one that I’m going to keep intact. I also purchaced a back-up of the Prep+Prime Natural Radiance Illuminating Base in the shade Radiant Yellow which is one of favourite primers. Another Prep+Prime product that I purchased is the lip primer (in the limited edition packaging from the Petal Power collection). I’ve never tried it before, so I’m really excited to see if it makes a difference. And then I bought two blushers and two single eyeshadows.

DSC_0351

These are the two blushers I’ve purchased. The first one is a matte powder blush in the shade Prism, and the other one is a Glow Play blush in the shade So Natural. Both are nude shades and I’m really excited to use these.

DSC_0355

The two eyeshadows I’ve added to my custom palette are Kid and Natural Wilderness. Natural Wilderness is a new shade.

DSC_0362rediDSC_0371redi

I was lucky enough to get a bunch of samples and free gifts as well. The thing that I’m most excited about is the mini lipstick in the shade Velvet Teddy, which I don’t already own, but I know it’s a popular shade, so I’m excited to give it a try.

Sephora 20% off sale

DSC_0227

Sephora (at least the Danish website) had a 20% off all make-up sale recently, so I decided to take advantage for that and purchase a few things I’ve had on my make-up wishlist.

DSC_0236

I love the Huda Beauty Obsessions palettes, and I’d been eyeing up the Nude (Light) Obsessions one for a little while. I’ve used it a couple of times already, and I’m loving it. This palette is just so pretty, and I feel like you could actually do quite a few different looks with it.

DSC_0233

Sticking with small, travel-friendly palettes (even though I’ll be staying home for quite a while still), I decided to try out the Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows Mix & Match eyeshadow palette and went for number 1 True Neutrals (another neutral palette, what’s happening to me!). This is indeed very travel-friendly, and I love that you can do a full eye look with this one palette. I’ve used it once, and so far so good.

DSC_0245

And on to another Fenty Beauty product. This has been on my make-up wishlist ever since it launched, so I finally purchased one of the Sun Stalk’r – Instart Warmth bronzers. I got the lightest shade which is called Inda Sun. I’ve only worn this once as well, but I think I’m going to really like it.

DSC_0251

And last but not least, I’ve purchased my first ever Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector pressed highlighter. This is in the shade Vanilla Quartz, and I’ve swatched it in stores several times. It’s really pretty, and I can’t wait to wear this more.

Another Zalando haul

I’ve picked up a few different pieces from Zalando recently that I thought I would share with you.

Lyseblå T-shirt m. Hercules print - Bershka

Hercules is my favourite Disney film, so I just had to have this T-shirt from Bershka.

Sort T-shirt m. Mulan print - Cotton On

And here’s another Disney T-shirt I just had to buy. This awesome Mulan T-shirt is from a brand called Cotton On.

Hvide sneakers m. sort Mickey Mouse print - Bershka

We’re not done with Disney themed items yet. These chunky sneakers are also from Bershka, and I think that they’re so cute.

Gennemsigtige plast pumps m. spænde og trekantet hæl - BEBO

These clear BEBO heels are the closest Amina Muaddi dupe that I’ve found. They’re very similar to her Begum style, but these are obviously way more affordable.

Sort skuldertaske m. Mickey Mouse print - Kidzroom

The black H&M belt bag that I featured in my february favourites was actually too small for everyday use, so when I saw this Mickey Mouse bag from a brand called Kidzroom, I thought it would be perfect for a new everyday bag, and so far it is.

Topshop øreringe m. sten

This last item (or items) in this haul is this pretty set of six earrings from Topshop. I love that they’re miss-matched, so you can wear them in all different kinds of combinations.

Collective haul

Here’s a few different items I’ve collected over the past month or so.

Lyserød regnfrakke - VRS

How cute is this baby pink raincoat! I found it on sale at my local supermarket, and thought it would be a nice addition to my spring coat collection.

Sort bøllehat - H&M

I’ve been wanting to try out the bucket hat trend for a while, and I’ve finally purchased one. This is just a plain black one from H&M.

Hot pink bredt taljebælte - H&M

I love pink, and pink is really trendy right now. So are belts, and this big, pink waist belt from H&M really spoke to me.

Pastelfarvede strømper

Pastel socks from H&M. A no brainer purchase for me.

Pink velour pumps m. perler og trekantet hæl - Asos

In this haul, I wrote about my obsession with Amina Muaddi shoes and especially her characteristic heel design. Asos came through again with another great dupe in these pink velvet beauties. Maybe I should just wear these around my apartment, now that I have nowhere to go.

Spring/summer shoes and more

I’m longing for spring and summer so badly, so I’ve purchased some spring and summer shoes that I can hopefully wear soon (meaning when it gets warmer and the current state of the world is better). I’ve also purchased a couple of accessories. I bought everything on Asos.

Lilac læderpumps m. gennemsigtig hæl - Asos

I love everything purple, and I thought these lilac leather heels from Asos’ own brand would be the perfect spring shoes.

Limegrønne pumps m. stropper og trekantet hæl - Asos

I haven’t had an obsession with a designer shoe brand in a very long time, but for the past couple of months I’ve been absolutely obsessed with Amina Muaddi shoes. Her designs are absolutely stunning, and I’m especially obsessed with the heels that look similar to the heels on this lime green pair of shoes from Asos. When you can’t afford expensive designer shoes, you’ll have to look for more affordable alternatives, and I think these are so fun.

Blå åbne mules m. firkantet sål - Public Desire

Another popular shoes designer right now is Bottega Veneta with their square designs and quilted designs (see next picture).  Once again, I went on the hunt for cheaper alternatives and found these cute bright blue heels from Public Desire. I’m so excited to style these.

Sorte quiltede mules - Boohoo

And speaking of quilted designs, I just loved these Boohoo sandals. They even have a fun heel, which makes them a bit different. I think these could turn out to be a go-to spring/summer shoe.

Bordeauxrød krokodilleprint taske m. multifarvet spænde - AsosStore røde øreringe fra South Beach

And lastly, a couple of accessories. The bag is from Asos own brand, and I just loved the deep burgundy color and the fun buckle. And my obsession with big earrings continues, so I thought these red marble like ones from South Beach would be fun to style.
