I have a collective Beauty Bay haul to share with you today. It’s not the biggest haul ever, but I think I picked up some pretty good things.
Let’s begin with a mixed selection of products. I love the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Liquid Star Shadows, so I picked up another shade. This shade is from the Star Wedding collection and it’s called Favorite Frosting. I also got the Made By Mitchell Blursh Lights liquid highlighter in Drip Drip, which I’ve seen people use on the eyes, and it looked so pretty, so I’m going to try that. And I really like the Lethal Cosmetics Magnetic face powder blushers, so I got this pretty peachy pink shade called Blossom. I already had the case lying around.
I also picked up my first products from Half Magic. I got two of the Cheek Fluff Soft Blur blushes in Pink Mushroom and Magic Brownie, and they’re so nice. I also got the Light Trap Duochrome glow powder in Enter The Glow, which is just as nice and super pretty.
In the spring I loved trying out new face palettes, and I was very intrigued by the By BEAUTY BAY face palette in First Light. I think the choices of shades are great, and you can use it with practically any make-up look.
I’ve been wanting to try the about-face Cheek Freak Blush Balms ever since I first saw them, and I picked up several shades, but one of my parcels never arrived. At least I got this stunning purple shade in Score.
I was just as excited to get my hands on the about-face Cherry Pick Lip Color Butters, and I picked up the shades Orange Daze, Dragonfruit Fusion, and Pamblemousse. I’m really enjoying these so far.
I have a combined Catrice and Essence Disney haul to share with you today. The Catrice products are The Jungle Book themed and the Essence products are The Lion King themed. Let’s begin with the Catrice stuff.
Both collections include three eyeshadow palettes. The Catrice The Jungle Book palettes are called 010 Bare Necessities, 020 Stay In The Jungle, and 030 Mother Nature’s Recipe. The all look really pretty.
This is the face palette in 010 Tales About The Jungle. I think the packaging and details of this collection are stunning!
The collection also came with two blush sticks in the shades 010 An Elephant Never Forgets and 020 Big Bear Hugs. So cute, right?!
The duo-chrome eye pencils in 010 Python and 020 Trust In Me are the most unique products in the collection, and they are really fun and pretty.
I also got this set that came with a make-up bag, which I’ve already used a lot, a face toner, a face primer, a Pure Volume mascara waterproof, and a lip balm in 010 Go With The Flow.
I also picked up the other two lip balms in 020 Cross My Heart and 030 Spirit.
The last item I got from the Catrice The Jungle Book collection is the sculpting brush. Let’s move on to the Essence The Lion King collection.
The three The Lion King eyeshadow palettes are called 01 Circle of Life, 02 Strong From Sunrise To Sunset, and 03 Dream Big, Little One.
These maxi blushes in 01 Remember Who You Are and 02 Can You Feel The Love Tonight? are super cute.
The Lion King collection also included two swirl lipglosses in 01 Calm Surrender and 02 The Lion Sleeps Tonight. They look super pretty. I almost don’t want to ruin the swirl.
I love Essence gel nail colours and The Lion King collection came with two shades; 01 Roar and 02 Courageous.
The last item I bought from the Essence The Lion King collection was the eyeshadow brush. I usually really like both Essence and Catrice brushes.
Back in March Colourpop had a 30% off sitewide sale, so I obviously had to take advantage of that. I also picked up a handful of other products after the sale, so I decided to put them all into one big haul. Let’s begin with the sale stuff.
I picked up a bunch of palettes. First off, we have the Play It Jewel palette, which is one of the mega palettes. I’m wearing it on my eyes here.
The next palette I got is the Fade Into Hue palette. How pretty is this rainbow palette?!
The Not A Box of Chocolates palette is not my typical kind of palette, but I’d heard good things about it and thought I would give it a try.
This is the Sage The Day palette, which has a beautiful green and neutral colour story.
I picked up five of the monochromatic 9-pan palettes; the Lilac You A Lot, the Orchid You Not, the Ooh La La!, the Uh-Huh Honey, and the Just My Luck.
Here are what the palettes look like. My favourite look I’ve done with one of these palettes so far is the look I did with the Just My Luck palette.
Let’s move on to face products for a moment. I decided to try their new at the time single pressed powder face products and created this custom face palette. I got the lightest bronzer in the shade Avila Beach, three blushes in the shades Why Hello, Big Reveal, and Flamingo, and two highlighters in the shades Cold One and Easy Livin’. This is a very nice travel palette.
I also bought two more heart-shaped pressed powder blushes in Kiss ‘N Tell and Text Me.
My favourite Colourpop products are probably the Super Shock cheek products. This time around I picked up five highlighters, two blushes, and a bronzer. The shades are (from top left corner to bottom right corner) Felicity, Spellbound, Candy Floss, Lunch Money, Flexitarian, Between The Sheets, Prenup, and Get Sandy.
I also purchased this Winx Club Trix Glow Lite Stix set, which comes with the three shades Icy, Darcy, and Stormy. These highlighter sticks are really fun and easy to use.
And now some lip products. My favourite lip product from Colourpop is the Glowing Lip, so I purchased the Glow With It Glowing Lip set, which includes 9 beautiful shades.
For the lips I also got the Disney Designer Collection Lux liquid lip in Flynn.
Then I bought two products from the Pretty Fresh line; the Pretty Fresh tinted moisturizer in Fair 4N and the Pretty Fresh hydrating setting mist. The tinted moisturizer is not the right shade for me, so I don’t know if I like the formula or not, but I love the setting mist.
And now the products I purchased a little later, when the sale was over. I really wanted to buy both the Blue Velvet palette and the Panoramic face & eye gloss in the sale, but they were out of stock. I still haven’t tried the face & eye gloss, but I love the Blue Velvet palette. I’m wearing is here.
Lastly, I picked up a bunch of products from the The Legend of Korra collection, and I’m actually in the middle of watching the show for the first time. I got the palette, the Super Shock highligher, and the four chrome liquid shadows, which are named after the four elements.
Here’s a closer look at the palette and the highlighter called Spirit Wilds. The products in this collection are super pretty. I’m wearing many of them here.
I have an Asos sale haul to share with you today. I love that Asos frequently gives you 20% off everything.
I’ve already featured these Crocs Mega Chush sandals in a 5 favourites post, because I’ve worn them a lot this summer. I actually got these 25% off.
I wore these boots from Public Desire with this outfit, and they’re so fun. Maybe I have to put together a Barbie inspired western look.
Elf is one of my favourite Christmas films, so I just had to get this T-shirt from Asos Design Men.
Let’s move on to make-up. First, I got these three Charlotte Tilbury products; the Beautiful Skin Sun-Kissed Glow bronzer in Fair, the Hollywood Glow Glide Architect highlighter in Moonlit Glow, and the Matte Beauty Blush Wand Pillow Talk in Pink Pop. I love all three products.
From Revolution I picked up the Pro Goddess Glow Cream contour & bronze in Light and the Pout Balms in Bare Shine and Mocha Shine.
And last, but not least, my most used product from this haul so far; the e.l.f. Skin Suntouchable! Whoa Glow SPF 30 sunscreen in Sunbeam. This has been one my go-to primers for a few months now. It’s just so nice.
I have a Sephora haul to share with you today. I purchased these products back in March, so I’ve already worn most of them.
Let’s begin with lip products for once. I picked up two more of the Fenty Beauty Poutsicle hydrating lip stains. These are in the shades Zestie Bestie 02 and Strawberry Sangria 03. I haven’t worn Zestie Bestie 02 yet, but I love Strawberry Sangria 03. I also love the Natasha Denona I Need A Rouge matte liquid lipstick in Eva, which is one of the best liquid lipsticks formulas I’ve tried.
I also purchased two contour products; the Tarte Sculpt Tape contour in Cool Bronze and the Milk Makeup Sculpt Stick in Toasted. I really enjoy both of these.
The last two products I bought was the Make Up For Ever HD Skin Undetectable stay-true foundation in 1N06 and the R.E.M. Beauty Midnight shadows liquid eye shadow in Labcoat. The foundation is too dark on me, but I’ve made it work mixed with a white foundation, and I do like the formula. And I already knew I liked the R.E.M. Beauty Midnight shadows, and this is a pretty iridescent pink shade.
I got samples of the Make Up For Ever Hydra Booster Step 1 primer and the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD microfinishing loose powder as gifts with my Make Up For Ever purchase. I haven’t used them enough to form a proper opinion on them yet.
I have a Monki haul to share with you today. The first three pieces were not on sale, but the rest were.
How cute is this print! Monki just makes the prettiest, most colourful prints, which is why it’s probably my favourite clothing brand. I love the silhouettes of their pieces as well. I think the dress is absolutely adorable, but I sadly haven’t found the perfect occasion to wear it for yet. And I just love the oversized blazers and matching trousers from Monki. I can’t wait to wear this suit.
And now on to the sale items. Can you tell I like these checkered prints? I already own the blazers in these two prints plus a coat and scarf in the purple/orange/pink print, but I had to have a dress, both sweatshirts, and the two pairs of matching trousers as well. They were on sale, so how could I not?:)
I also got this red and pink striped T-shirt in the sale, and I’ve already worn it quite a bit. I just love red and pink together.
These pink and purple ombré track pants were just so fun, and I have actually styled them up for everyday here and here.
The last thing I picked up in the sale was this adorable pink strawberry wool beret. I love a good beret, and this one is just so cute.
The MAC x Richard Quinn collection is one of the prettiest collections MAC has done in a while. The packaging is just beautiful, and so are the actual products.
This is the Quinning eye shadow palette. I love the addition of the black and white to an otherwise pastel palette; it creates a nice contrast. I’m wearing the palette on my eyes here.
These are the Powder Blush Duo in Sunset Boulevard and the Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Day_Glow. I love all blush formulas from MAC and I also love the Extra Dimension Skinfinish formula, so I knew that I would like these.
It’s the first time I’m trying one of the Colour Express Gel pencil eye liners from MAC. This one is in the shade Lav-It, and it’s a pretty lavender. I really like the formula and colour and I love the packaging.
I picked up three lipsticks; one in this square black packaging and two in the rounded floral packaging. This is the shade Mehr, which is in the permanent range, but I’ve never tried it.
These are both limited edition shades. The pinky red is called Vamp-Tastic and the bright magenta is called Mega Magenta. Both shades are stunning.
I have a collective haul to share with you today. It’s a mix of clothes, accessories, and make-up. I purchased all of these things back in March.
Let’s begin with clothes and more specifically trousers. My body has obviously changed after being pregnant and having a baby, so I had to buy new trousers, since I can’t fit into my trousers from before I was pregnant yet (maybe I’ll never fit them again). I love wide leg trousers, so I picked up a pair of red cargo trousers and a pair of floral jeans from H&M. I got both pairs 20% off. The lilac joggers are also from H&M and they were also on sale.
This maxi linen skirt form H&M wasn’t on sale, but it was just so beautiful, so I had to have it. I actually haven’t worn it yet, but I’m excited to do so soon.
When I was breastfeeding my daughter I loved cardigans, because they were so practical, but I think I’ll continue to wear them, even though I’m not breastfeeding anymore. I love the colour and fit of this one from H&M, which was also on sale. The pastel striped roll neck jumper was also on sale, and I’d had my eye on it for a while. I can’t wait to wear it next winter.
There’s Barbie everything everywhere right now because of the Barbie film, but I purchased this oversized Barbie T-shirt before all the Barbie hype. It’s also from H&M, and I’m actually wearing it today.
This green knitted polo shirt is also from the H&M sale, and there was something very interesting about it, and I think it’ll be very fun to style.
These are the only accessories I picked up all from H&M as well. I think the flower choker is very Carrie Bradshaw, and I’m excited to style it up. And you can never have too many big hair clips, can you?
Let’s move on to make-up and let’s start out strong with some Natasha Denona. I got the Love Face palette. I think these colours are super pretty. I’m wearing it here.
I also, finally, purchased the Natasha Denona Bronze palette. I don’t wear these kinds of colours very often, but it was on sale, and I love the Natasha Denona eyeshadows. I also loved the look I created with this palette.
I randomly got another shade of the NYX Fat Oil lip drips. It’s the shade 03 Supermodel, and it might be my favourite shade I’ve tried so far.
I love cream bronzer and cream blusher, and I’ve been enjoying them in stick form, so I had to try the Essence Baby Got Bronze bronzing stick in 10 Cinnamon Spice and the Essence Baby Got Blush blush stick in 10 Tickle Me Pink, and I really liked both.
I picked up some items from the Catrice My Little Pony collection. I got the eyeshadow palette, the highlighter, and two nail laqcuers in the shades in C03 Happy Skydancer and C04 Lovely Minty. I’m wearing the palette and highlighter here.
From Catrice I also purchased three HOP, HOP HOORAY RELOADED nail lacquers in the shades C06 Spring Meadow, C09 Lavender Peony, and C08 Floral Bouquet.
I love a skin tint, so I was intrigued about the Maybelline SuperStay 24H skin tint. I picked up the shade 03, which is a good match for my skin. I haven’t used it enough to form a proper opinion on it yet, but I think I liked the way it looked.
The other foundation I picked up was the Clinique Even Better Clinical serum foundation SPF 20 in CN 08 Linen. However, the shade was too dark on me, so I have since then picked up a lighter shade, because I do really enjoy this foundation.
Lastly, I bought three lip products. I got the Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump in Lotus, the Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil in 806 Go Ahead Pink, and the Givenchy Rose Perfecto Beautifying lip balm in 37. I had actually ordered the liquid version of the Givenchy lip balm, but got this one instead, and since the store didn’t have the liquid version, I got to keep this one and get my money back, which was very nice.
This is my first ever Lethal Cosmetics haul. I made a couple of orders and decided to combine them into this one haul.
Let’s begin with palettes, which are the main items in this haul. I had to pick up the After Dark palette and the Nightflower palette.
This is what the After Dark palette looks like. Super colourful and fun. I’m wearing it here.
Here’s a closer look at the Nightflower palette. I can’t resist a purple palette, and I love the addition of blue to the otherwise purple heavy palette. I’m wearing it here.
In a different order I picked up the Evergreen palette and the Metamorphosis palette.
The Evergreen palette has a beautiful green colour story with pops of blue and purple. I can’t wait to play with this palette.
The Metamorphosis palette has a warmer red/pink colour story with the addition of green, orange, and gold. I’m wearing it here.
The newest palette I purchased is the Wildflower palette. This is the brighter sister to the Nightflower palette. I actually just wore this yesterday, and I loved the eye look I created with it. Overall, I’m pretty impressed with the Lethal Cosmetics eyeshadows.
Now, let’s move on to the cheek products. I picked up three blushes and one highlighter. These first two blushes are from the same collection as the Wildflower palette. They’re called Aster and Dandelion. I love this glowy blush formula; they look so pretty on the cheeks.
The last blush I picked up is in the shade Adorned, and the highlighter is in the shade Halo.
Lastly, I got the Vegan Brushes brush soap. Hopefully, this will make me clean my brushes more often:)
June has come to an end, and so has my maternity leave. Luckily, my July consists of four weeks of holiday, so I still have a bit of time left at home with my baby, before I’m going back to work in August. I’m very excited about spending my holiday with my little family and my extended family. We’ve had very nice weather lately, so hopefully it continues. I had lots of favourites this month, but I managed to pick five, so let’s talk about those.
Pink Crocs Mega Crush sandals: My love for Crocs continues. As per usual, I haven’t hauled most of the stuff in this 5 favourites post, these Crocs sandals included. However, I had to include these, because I’ve worn them a lot. They’re super comfy as Crocs are, and I think they’re pretty cute too.
e.l.f. Skin Suntouchable! Whoa Glow SPF 30 sunscreen: I hate the feeling of sunscreen on my body and especially on my face, but this one from e.l.f. Skin, which is also a make-up primer, doesn’t feel like sunscreen at all. It protects the skin, but also leaves the most beautiful glow. I’m a bit obsessed with this product to be honest. It works and looks great with and without make-up on.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra-Blur (shade: Translucent): I’ve never tried a Laura Mercier powder I didn’t like, but this one might take the cake. It just blurs the skin in the most beautiful and natural way, and it makes your make-up last all day.
Colourpop Super Shock shadows: I know people have been loving these eyeshadows for years, but I didn’t try Colourpop as a brand until this year. However, these cream-to-powder shadows are stunning, and I often use them as toppers to add a little extra shimmer to my eye looks. The picture shows the ones I’ve worn in June.
KAYALI Eden Juicy Apple | 01 Eau de Parfum: I received the haul that included this perfume right around the time I found out that I was pregnant last year, and I didn’t wear perfume throughout my pregnancy or for the first many months after having my daughter. It’s not until more recently that I started wearing a bit of perfume again, and this one has been my most worn one. It’s the perfect spring and summer scent; it’s just so fresh and fruity.
