Another fun colour combo

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Purple and red is another really fun colour combo that I should play around with more often.

Denim maxi

Here’s what I wore Saturday January 27. My boyfriend and I went on a lunch date, and it was the perfect opportunity to wear this denim maxi dress.

Essence Mickey and Friends & Catrice Winnie The Pooh collections

I have a huge Essence and Catrice haul to share with you today. It’s their latest Disney collabs; Essence Disney Mickey and Friends and Catrice Disney Winnie The Pooh. Let’s begin with the Essence Disney Mickey and Friends collection.

I picked up two of the eyeshadow palettes. I got 01 Dreams Are Forever, which has a green colour story and 03 Laughter Is Timeless, which has a blue colour story. I really liked the quality of green one, but the blue one was lacking in the pigmentation department. Both are very cute to look at though.

I purchased both of the Bouncy blushes. They’re in the shades 01 Never Grow Up and 02 Another Perfect Day. I think these are supposed to mimic the MAC Glow Play blushes, which has a blush formula that I love, so I think it’s nice to have an affordable version.

For lips I picked up the Balmy Gloss in 02 Back To Nature and the two Fruity lip balms in 01 Oh Cranberry! and 02 Red Berries Vibes!. The packaging on these is very cute.

The Essence collection also included two fixing sprays; the Happy Mood & Fixing Spray in 010 Nature Makes Me Happy and the Relaxing Mood & Fixing Spray in 020 Nature, The Antidote To Stress.

I love Essence nail polishes, and these are metallic shades called 01 Adventure Awaits and 02 Aw, Phooey!.

Lastly from the Essence Mickey and Friends collection, we have some tools. The collection included a cream blush brush and an eyeshadow brush and also creaseless hair clips.

Now let’s move on to the Catrice Disney Winnie The Pooh collection. I only picked up one of the eyeshadow palettes. This one is called 020 Friends Lift Each Other Up and has a lilac/purple colour story.

The Catrice collection included two Soft Glow bronzers in the shades 010 I Think It’s Called Love and 020 Promise You Won’t Forget Me Ever. These are so adorable!

The lip products in the Winnie The Pooh collection was a lip oil in 010 Silly Old Bear and some lip balms. I picked up the lip balm in the shade 010 Poohisms.

For lips I also got the Trio Lip Care Set 3pcs, which includes a lip mask, a lip scrub, and a lip exfoliator tool (I’m not sure if that is the proper name for it). This set is just the cutest!

I also purchased one of the nail polishes from the Catrice collection. It’s the Dream In Soft Glaze nail polish in 020 Let Your Sillyness Shine. I also got the nail and cuticle oil.

This collection also had an Illuminating Primer in 010 Poohtiful and a lash curler.

The very last thing in this haul is the soothing hand cream in 020 Just Doing Nothing with the cute Eeyore on the front.

Favourite though flashback

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. This is one of my favourite make-up looks I’ve done so far this year, but I’m so annoyed by the flashback my powder created, and I decluttered that powder immediately! However, I’m obsessed with both the eye look and the lip combo.

(Base: primer – Make Up For Ever Hydra Booster Step 1 primer, foundation – Make Up For Ever HD Skin Undetectable stay-true foundation (shades: 1N00 + 1N06), concealers – Smashbox x Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector in Fair/Light + e.l.f. Cosmetics Camo colour corrector (shade: Green) + Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer (shade: 1.3G Marshmellow), powder – Make Up For Ever Ultra HD microfinishing loose powder. Face make-up: bronzer – NABLA Skin Bronzing in Ambra, blusher – Clinique Cheek Pop palette: Warm Up (shade: Nude Pop), highlighter – Oden’s Eye Solmåne Moonlight Feel highlighter in H101 Moon Talk. Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze + Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim pencil in Medium Brown. Lips: Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Liner in Muted Mauve + Unearthly Cosmetics lip gloss in Predator)

Paletteopoly

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I used the Ace Beauté Paletteopoly palette for my eye look, and the palette comes with a game that helps you choose your shades, so the looks can turn out pretty random. I don’t think I got the worst shades to work with, and I think the look turned out pretty decent.

(Base: primer – NYX The Marshmellow primer, foundation – Urban Decay Stay Naked Hydromaniac Tinted Glow Hydrator (shade: 20 Fair Neutral), concealers – e.l.f. Cosmetics Putty Color-Correcting Eye Brightener (shade: Fair) + e.l.f. Cosmetics Hydrating Camo concealer (shade: Fair Beige), powders – Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Tone Up in Rose + Catrice All Matt Shine Control powder Healthy Look in 100 Neutral Fresh Beige. Face make-up: bronzer + blusher + highlighter – Pat McGrath Labs Divine Blush + Bronze + Glow Trio: Fleurever Nude (shades: Nude Honey + Naked Peony + Opal Allure). Based on eyes

Here’s what I wore Wednesday January 24. This whole outfit is actually based on my eye make-up, which I’ll elaborate on in my make-up post tomorrow.

(Hat + jeans – H&M, shirt + vest – second hand, heels – Asos Design)

Collective haul (October 2023)

I have a large collective haul to share with you today. It consists of shoes, clothes, accessories, and make-up.

I featured these Crocs Classic Crush boots in my December favourites post, and I’ve continued to wear them a lot. I bought them on sale on the H&M app.

I love a boot with a chunky heel and a platform, and these pink suede ones from Asos Design are really nice.

This red checkered suit from Asos Design came in very handy during the holiday season. I wore it here and here.

This red bow hair clip from H&M was a stable Christmas accessory for me, and I still love it and will continue to wear it.

This silver ring is called the Drippy V-Ring from Danish jewellery designer Jane Kønig. I wear it pretty much every day.

In my last haul, I featured the other shade of the Catrice METAFACE nail lacquers, but I wanted this lighter shade as well called C02 Cyber Beauty.

I was curious to try the new Clarins Joli Rouge lipsticks, so I picked up the satin lipstick in 742 Joli Rouge and the velvet matte lipstick in 754V Deep Red. Both are very pretty red shades, and the packaging is stunning.

I also got some stuff from Fenty Beauty. I purchased another shade of the Cheeks Out Freestyle cream blushes (shade: Pinky Promise 13), the limited edition Gloss Bomb Crystal Holographic lip luminizer in Holla’Gram, and the Eaze Drop Blur + Smooth skin tint stick in shade 02.

I picked up one more product from Fenty Beauty from another website, and it’s the Fenty Icon Semi Matte refillable lipstick set which was a limited edition holiday release. The lipstick shade is called Sorta Single. I also purchased two products from Rare Beauty; another Kind Words matte lip liner (shade: Strong) and another Soft Pinch tinted lip oil (shade: Affection).

From MAC I got one of the new at the time Locked Kiss 24hr lipsticks, and I picked a beautiful warm tomato red called Gutsy. I received the Made To Wow Brow Kit Auburn as a free gift with purchase. The kit includes a Brow Set Clear and a Brows Styler in Penny, which is not my shade.

You know I love Natasha Denona eyeshadows, and I was very excited to see a blue palette from the brand. This is the Mini Triochrome, and I think it’s very pretty. I’m wearing it here.

I’ve got two more palettes to share with you, and I’m really excited about both. First, I had to have the Blend Bunny Cosmetics Sickly Sweet palette, and I have to say that it’s pretty much the perfect pastel palette. I used it to create this eye look.

The other indie palette that I also had to have was the Cosmic Brushes/Beauty Gothic palette. I wore this on New Year’s Eve, and it was beautiful.

The very last thing in this haul is the Sigma Dry’n Shape Tower Face & Eyes, which is described as a stackable brush care station, so a tower to hold your brushes after you’ve cleaned them. I’ve used it once, and it worked pretty well.

Peach doesn’t suit me

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I don’t often wear a peach lip, because it’s not my favourite. It doesn’t look horrible, but I don’t think it suits me that well.

(Base: primer – e.l.f. Cosmetics Liquid Poreless Putty primer, foundation – R.E.M. Beauty Sweetener foundation (shade: Fair 2n), concealers – Rare Beauty Positive Light under eye brightener (shade: Light) + Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer (shade: 1.3G Marshmellow), powders – Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Brightening Flawless Finish powder (shade: Fair/Medium) + Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish powder (shade: 1 Fair).
