Primarily warm tones

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. My outfit might have been a mix of warm and cool tones, but my make-up look is primarily warm tones (with a cool toned lower lash line).

Didn’t last long

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The eyeshadow looks quite pretty in these pictures, but I recall that they didn’t last very long on my eyelids, which was a shame.

Robe styling

Here’s what I wore Wednesday June 19. I had a lot of fun styling this robe in May and June. Maybe I should pull it back out again soon.

(Robe – Topshop, top – H&M, jeans – The Ragged Priest, sneakers – Nike)

5 favourites – September

The first month of autumn has gone by in flash. The weather was warm and summery until the middle-ish of the month, which was nice, but I’m so ready for more autumnal weather. Autumn is probably my favourite season when it comes to styling and putting together outfits, because when it’s colder you can layer, and layering usually makes an outfit more interesting. I’m also really excited about October. I was never really into Halloween, but this year I find myself really excited about Halloween decorations and anything pumpkin and pumpkin inspired. But before we head into Spooktober, let’s talk about my 5 favourites from September.

Green and pink Nike Cortez sneakers: I haven’t hauled this particular pair of Nike Cortez sneakers yet, but I’ve worn them a lot, since I bought them back in June. I just love this colour combo, and they’re more versatile than you might think.

RMS Beauty ReDimension Hydra bronzer (shade: Beachwalk Betty): I haven’t hauled this bronzer either, but it’s one of those products that was on my wishlist ever since I first saw it, and it did not disappoint. I generally love the RMS Beauty ReDimension line, and this glowy bronzer is simply stunning.

L.A. Girl Perfect Precision lip liner in Pinky: I’ve had and loved this lip liner for years, and I continually reach for it. It’s the perfect cool toned pink lip liner, and I’ve been wearing a cool toned pink lip quite frequently lately.

Fenty Beauty Cherry Treat conditioning lip oil: I like to wear a (tinted) lip oil over a lip liner with a make-up look, but this particular lip oil has been my go-to lip product to wear at home on no make-up days. It doesn’t really have any colour, but it feels lovely and moisturising on the lips.

Tuc bisquits/crackers w. sweet chili flavour: It’s been a long time since I last featured a snack in one of these posts, but I thought these bisquits were worth a mention. I like the original salty version, but I have a soft spot for any sweet chili flavoured snack, and these are so good.

Would be great

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I might have worn this make-up look in the beginning of summer, but it would be great for autumn time as well.

(Base: primers – Huda Beauty Glowish Blur Jam silicone-free smoothing primer + L’Oréal Glotion natural glow enhancer (shade: 901 Fair Glow), foundation – Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop blurring skin tint (shade: 2), concealers – Smashbox x Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector in Fair/Light + Fenty Beauty We’re Even hydrating longwear concealer (shade: 120N), powders – Essence Harley Quinn Pink loose setting powder in 01 Harley Vibes + Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish pressed powder in Soft Porcelain, freckles – KimChi Chic Candy Girl Fake Freckles in Afternoon in The Flower Field. Face make-up: bronzer – Makeup By Mario SoftSculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer in Light, blusher + highlighter – Natasha Denona Berry Pop Cheek Trio – blush & highlighter palette (shades: Cream Blush + Tinted Glow Cream Base + Dream Glow). Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Essence eyeshadows (shades: 20 Cream + 14 Flirting) + Unearthly Cosmetics Lore palette (shades: Minotaur + Sphinx + Griffith + Serpent), mascara – Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara (shade: Burgundy Haze), eyeliners – Marc Jacobs Highliner Glam Glitter gel eye crayon in Glam Jam + Colourpop BFF Créme gel liner in Aglow. Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze + Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim pencil in Medium Brown. Lips: Natasha Denona Berry Pop lip crayon + Natasha Denona Berry Pop lipstick)

Deep aqua blue

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I don’t wear blue lipstick very often anymore, but I thought this deep aqua blue went perfectly with my colourful outfit.

(Base: primer – e.l.f Cosmetics Power Grip primer, foundation – NYX Born To Glow naturally radiant foundation (shade: Porcelain), concealers – Catrice Under Eye Brightener in 010 Light Rose + NYX Bare With Me concealer serum (shade: 02 Light), powders – Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Tone Up in Rose + Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish pressed powder in Soft Porcelain. Face make-up: bronzer – Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle cream bronzer in Butta Bisquit, blusher – Colourpop Pokémon Instant Crush cream blush in Hypnosis, highlighter – Colourpop Twilight Super Shock highlighter in Meadow. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Essence eyeshadow in 20 Cream + Adept Cosmetics Cyborg Choir palette (shades: Robotic Fusion + Synthetic Sound Wave + Android Aura + Digital Harmony + Cybernetic Spark + 7), mascaras – Essence I Love Extreme crazy volume mascara + Kiko Milano Smart Colour mascara in 10 Turquoise, eyeliner – LA Girl Pastel Dream auto eyeliner in Lavender. Big Lyko haul (May 2024)

I have a rather big Lyko haul to share with you today. Most of the products are from Essence and Catrice.

This is the Catrice Seeking Flowers collection. As you can see, I picked up a lot of products from this collection, and after trying most of the products, I have to say that it’s one of my favourite collections Catrice has done in a while. I picked up the hydrating lip mask (which is the only product I haven’t tried yet), the two blush & brush sticks in C01 Berrylicious and C02 S-peachless, the cream-to-powder highlighter in C01 Watch Me Bloom, and the three hydrating lip stains in C01 So Apricot!, C02 Fuchsia Fling, and C03 Bloomtastic.

These next four products are from the Catrice Wild Escape collection, which is an older collection, so I got all of these products on sale. I got the eyeshadow palette in C01 Life In Paradise, the glowy bronzer & highlighter in C01 Wild Side, the liquid blush in C01 Rare Adventure, and the high shine lipstick pen in C02 Purely Savage.

Here’s a couple of Essence palettes that I also bought on sale. It’s the Essence Golden Days Ahead eyeshadow palette in 01 Livin’ For Golden Drama and the Love, Luck & Dragons eyeshadow palette in 01 Follow The Dragon Sparks. I was especially impressed by the quality of the Love, Luck & Dragons palette.

The last two items I got on sale were the Catrice Who I Am double ended eye pencil in C01 I Am Art and the Catrice Magic Christmas Story nail lacquer in C02 Clara’s Adventures. I also picked up the Essence Got A Crush On Apricots freckles pen in 01 Après Apricots, which I’ve been really enjoying.

The last product I picked up which wasn’t on sale was the NYX Buttermelt bronzer in the shade 02 All Butta’d Up. I love this bronzer formula so much that I’ve bought another shade since.

And lastly, I got the Make Up Store #502 blush brush small as a free gift with purchase.
