Taupe and glitter

This is what my nails look like at the moment. The taupe nail polish is one of my absolute favourites, and even though glitter nail polishes are extremely difficult to remove, I love the look of them.

Red haute

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’m wearing one of the H&M lipsticks and I really like it. It’s pigmented, long lasting and comfortable to wear. The vanilla scent does hang around for a while, but it’s not too bad. I’ve worn the other shade (the purple one) as well, and that one was a bit patchy which this red shade wasn’t at all, so it looks like there might be a bit of inconsistency in the line. But when that’s said I think they’re really nice lipsticks.

Boyfriend jeans and boots

Here’s what I wore Monday February 8. I’ve missed wearing my boyfriend jeans, so I decided to wear them with boots. My ankles were still a bit cold though, so I guess those jeans are just not suitable for winter.

5 favourites – February

From tomorrow on it’ll officially be spring, even though the weather in Denmark states otherwise. I really wish that the weather would become warmer very soon. Not that I would have much time to enjoy it, since March is going to be all about exams. I can’t believe that I already have exams again. Anyways, my favourites from the past month consists of the two M’s; Make-up and Movies.

Zoeva En Taupe eye shadow palette: I’m so glad I purchased this palette. It’s been my most used palette since I received it in the end of January. If you want to see what the shades inside the palette look like, you can check out this post.

Makeup Geek blusher in Spell Bound: I was really excited about trying out Makeup Geek’s blushers, and I was not disappointed. The shade I’ve been especially loving is Spell Bound which is my go-to kind of blush shade.

MAC lipstick in Von Teese: This has probably been my most worn lipstick this past month. It’s the perfect shade of red in my opinion and I love the matte finish. I’m wearing it here.

harry and sally

When Harry Met Sally (film): I’ve been wanting to watch this classic romcom for I don’t know how many years, and I finally caught it on TV a few weeks back. I really enjoyed it, and I see why it’s a classic.

snow-white-and-the-huntsman-1024

Snow White & The Huntsman (film): This is another film that pleasantly suprised me this month. I love that it has a twist on the original story about Snow White plus I won’t complain about a film which have both Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin in it:)

Perfect in-between

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I think the lip combo is really pretty; it’s the perfect in-between pink and purple.

Lips: MAC Heroine lip pencil + MAC Flat Out Fabulous lipstick + MAC Rhytm lipglass)

Cold, go away

Here’s what I wore Thursday February 4. I’m getting really tired of the cold, but I do like this outfit.

(Trousers – Primark, cardigan – Sisters Point, top + necklace – H&M, boots – B&CO)

Some new clothes

Sort sweatshirt m. multifarvet mønster - H&MRød og blåternet skjortekjole - H&MSorte højtaljede jeans - MonkiLyseblå 70'er jeans - H&M

Here’s some new clothes I got recently. The sweatshirt is from H&M, and it’s the same style as several other sweatshirts I have from H&M, so I know I’m going to love it. I thought the plaid dress was really pretty and a good dress for everyday wear. It’s a piece you can easily dress up or down. I needed a new/another pair of black jeans, and I really liked these high-waisted ones from Monki. The last pair of jeans might be a bit crazy, but I’ve always been wanting to try out a pair of wide-legged jeans, and these were incredibly cheap on sale, so if I’m not going to wear them that much, it’s not going to be a big loss.

Blue party lips

DSC_8536DSC_8533

Here’s the make-up I wore with this party outfit. I wore a neutral eye make-up to keep the focus on the blue lips. I know blue lips are not everyone’s cup of tea, but if you love bold colours (like I do), they’re perfect for a night out.

(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Zoeva En Taupe eye shadow palette (shades: Hour By Hour + Gallery + Wrapped in Silk) + Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Collection (shade: Champagne Truffle) + MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Lightscapade on browbone, mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – MUA Intense Colour eyeliner in Snow White. Lips: Rimmel Universal Transparent Lipliner in 001 Universal + MAC Matte Royal lipstick)

Party time

DSC_8544DSC_8543

Here’s what I wore at a party Saturday January 30. I didn’t want to wear an all black outfit (which I’m sure is a lot of people’s go-to party outfit, mine too), so I decided to wear a colourful top with matching blue lips. I opted for flats, so that I could dance all night:)

(Skirt – H&M, crop top – Monki, slip-ons – Topshop)
