Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I decided to go with a yellow one shadow look, and I really like it. It’s so quick and easy and really fun.

Here’s what I wore Tuesday August 1. I bought this skirt about a year ago, but this was my first time wearing it, and I love it! The green colour is beautiful and the styling options are endless.
(Skirt – second hand, top + belt – H&M, sandals – Zara)

As I mentioned a few days ago, I did some second hand shopping in July, and these are the pieces I found. I bought the bag in the beginning of July (so not on the day of second hand shopping), and I just really liked the colour and shape of it. The three pieces of clothing I did buy on my second hand shopping trip with my family. I’m loving the print on the shirt, and it’s the kind of item I love finding at a second hand store, because you just know it wasn’t made within the last 20 years. It has shoulder pads, and I think I’m going to keep them (at least for know). The top is from an existing Danish brand named Kaffe (which means coffee in Danish), and I just thought it was really cute with the heart print and the fact that it ties in the front. Lastly, the dress! This dress is so nice and ’70s looking (I don’t know when it was made, but it wasn’t recently). I love the big collar and the brown colours, and there’s a tie for the waist to give it some shape. I’m so excited about styling these items.

Here’s what I wore Saturday July 29. I went to my cousin’s birthday and decided to wear my new dress and denim jacket.
(Denim jacket + dress – H&M, sneakers – Adidas)

It’s time for another ‘first impressions’ post and this time it’ll be short and sweet. I’ve almost used up my Rimmel Stay Matte translucent powder, so I wanted to try out a new translucent pressed powder. I love the Maybelline Fit Me line, so I went with the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless powder in the shade 90 Translucent. As you can see it’s a white powder, but it’s not visible on the skin, so it is in fact translucent. It has a nice and soft texture, and it is mattifying, but it doesn’t make your skin look dry. It kept my skin looking matte for a good amount of time, and I didn’t feel the need to touch up during the day. If I was going somewhere in the evening, I would touch up, but that’s the case with most powders. In conclusion, it does what I want a powder to do; to set my foundation and get rid of the worst shine.

Here’s what I wore Wednesday July 26. My family and I spent a whole day second hand shopping, and I bought some really nice things that I’ll show you soon.
(Denim jacket + culottes – H&M, T-shirt – Asos, headband – made by my sister, sneakers – Adidas)

In mid-July I went shopping with my sisters and cousins, and I bought these four pieces at H&M. I’d been looking for an affordable oversized denim jacket, and I found just that. I’ve been wearing it so much; it just works with every outfit. I don’t buy dresses very often anymore, but I thought this black one with the white print was really pretty. I love the high neck, and I know the picture doesn’t show it properly, but it has really pretty wide sleeves. I had been looking at the mint green velvet trousers for ages, so I was really excited to find them on sale, but my sister found them first, and there was only one pair in our size. She bought them, but to my luck she found another pair of velvet trousers that she liked better, so I bought the mint green ones from her. Lastly, I had also been looking at the boots for a while, and when I found them one sale (they were extremely cheap), I had to buy them. I don’t have any other shoes in that colour, and I’m really excited to style them.

Here’s what I wore Monday July 17. I went to a pretty park with my family that day, and I got my sister to take some outfit pictures. I have a couple more outfits from my summer holidays to post, but as you know I had a little internet break in July (even though I still blogged every now and again), so I took a break from taking outfit pictures as well.

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I often forget about the Wet n Wild Comfort Zone eye shadow palette, but it’s such a good palette; the colours are so beautiful and pigmented. I tend to go for the green shades in the palette, but the browns are gorgeous as well.
