Bright and colourful

DSC_4995DSC_4992

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The colour scheme of the outfit was quite neutral, so I decided to wear bright and colourful make-up. This is the easiest kind of eye look you can do; I’m just wearing a yellow eye shadow all over the lid, and then I highlighted the inner corner and brow bone.

Donald Duck

Here’s what I wore Monday March 12. This Donald Duck T-shirt is so cute, and I love the way it looks paired with my pleated, silver skirt.

All about orange

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I love a monochrome make-up look and for this look I went with different shades of orange to match my amber jewellery.

Black blazer

Here’s what I wore Wednesday March 7. I love this black second hand blazer. Everyone should own at least one black blazer, and this one is my personal favourite.

Small collective make-up haul

I haven’t bought much new make-up lately, but when Beautybay.com had a sale a little while back, I finally bought the Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipstick in the shade Prom Night, which has been on my wishlist for absolute ages. I also decided to try out one of his lip scrubs and chose the Mojito scent/flavour. I will make a first impressions post on it at some point. And then I recently saw some new eye shadow palettes at the Essence display at my local supermarket, and I thought I would try one out. I will also be posting my first impressions on this palette another time.

I’m back

Here’s what I wore Tuesday March 6. It has finally become spring in Denmark, so it’s a bit weird to look back at outfits like this one from just a month ago, when it was super cold outside.

Btw, the reason why I haven’t blogged the past week is because I moved into a new apartment, and I just got an internet connection today.

Film style icon: Tony Manero

It’s been quite a while since I last made a film style icon post. So far, I’ve only featured stylish film women (apart from the honorable mention of Duckie Dale), but I thought it was time to talk about a super stylish male film character. You might have noticed my love for ’70s fashion, and no one is more stylish than John Travolta’s Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever (1977).

The iconic opening scene of the film features Tony Manero strutting down the street in an awesome black and red outfit. I love the huge shirt collars of the ’70s and of course the flared trousers.

This pink outfit is my absolute favourite! I want those pink trousers so bad! The silky shirt is beautiful too, and I love that he’s wearing a dark red leather jacket with the look.

And of course, I had to feature Tony’s iconic white suit. I would love a suit similar to this one. I don’t know if I could pull off the white, but Tony sure does.

Metallic grey

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I love a grey lip, and this metallic one is so pretty in my opinion.
