Completely neutral

Here’s what I wore Thursday May 23. I’d been wanting to wear this jumper for a long time, and I decided to style it with more beige items to create a completely neutral look (the khaki feels neutral to me in this outfit).

MAC Aladdin collection

DSC_7783

In my most recent 5 favourites post, I mentioned that I went to see the new Aladdin live action film, and I loved it. MAC has come out with a limited edition Aladdin collection, and of course I had to get my hands on a few of products.

I purchased two lipsticks; Rajah and Princess Incognito. I haven’t worn Rajah yet, but Princess Incognito is a stunning rosy nude shade. And look at that packaging. So pretty!

I also bought the Always One Jump Ahead highligter which is a beautiful gold shade. I don’t wear gold highlighters very often, but this one is really pretty and not too dark on my fair skin.

Lime green, blue, and terracotta

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I went with lime green and blue on my eyes to match my outfit and paired the eyes with a beautiful terracotta nude lip.

Pink mesh

Here’s what I wore Thursday May 16. I’ve been wanting to style this long pink mesh T-shirt ever since I bought it, but wasn’t sure how to. But then I thought, why not go with one of my favourite colour combos, pink and red, and then this outfit quickly came together, and I love how it turned out.

Small collective clothes and accessories haul

I’ve collected a few random pieces of clothing and accessories over the past month, and I thought I would put them into one collective haul.

Olivengrøn kineserjakke m. blomsterprint - second hand

First off, I’ve found this beautiful chinese jacket at a second hand store. The lime green colour is stunning, and it fits me perfectly.

Mørkeblå kjolekittel m. lyserøde blomster - second hand

I also found this floral dress at a second hand store. I thought it was a really fun piece, and I love the pink and blue colour combo.

Blå beret - second hand

I’ve also added another beret to my collection. This time a blue one.

Bug pins

I don’t go into Flying Tiger very often, but when I recently did, I found these cute bug pins. I obviously love the bright colours, and I think they’ll look really cute on a denim jacket.

Lyserøde sandaler - VRS

Lastly, I’ve purchased a pair of pink suede sandals at my local supermarket. I wore them today for the first time, and I think I’ll get a lot of wear out of them this summer.

Pops of green

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’m wearing the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Alien palette on my eyes, and I love the pop of green that ties in perfectly with my shirt and earring.

Perfectly ‘random’

DSC_7721DSC_7722

Here’s what I wore Tuesday May 14. I really wanted to wear the tulip shirt, so I just started to throw things on, and this is the outfit I ended up with. I love these kinds of ‘random’ outfits; they usually always turn out fun.

5 favourites – May

The last official month of spring is over by tomorrow, and summer is officially here (hopefully the summer weather will arrive as well). It feels like May went by so fast, and I really can’t believe that it’s already June; a busy month for many teachers out there (myself included). But let’s not talk about that now. Let’s talk about some of my favourite things from the month of May.

Navy quilted jakke m. blomstermønster og fløjlskrave - Monki

Navy quilted jacket: I’d been on the hunt for a great spring jacket, and I definitely found it in this one from Monki. I’ve worn it almost everyday throughout May, and as long as the weather is not getting much warmer, I’ll continue to wear it.

Hvide og sorte zebra print jeans - Asos

Zebra print jeans: I’ve been absolutely loving these zebra print jeans from Asos. They’re the perfect pair of statement trousers, and I’ve worn both at work and on a night out.

MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Illuminating Base (shade: Radiant Yellow): This product has actually been a favourite since December, when I started using a sample size of it. I loved it so much that I had to buy the full size (even though it’s quite expensive), and I wear it most days mixed with my Wet n Wild Coverall primer. It just gives the skin such a pretty, natural glow.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blue Blood palette: This one probably doesn’t come as a surprise. I’ve been obsessed with blue eyeshadow these past couple of months, and this palette is all you need to create beautiful blue eyeshadow looks.

aladin-netflix-2019-disney

Aladdin (film): As the huge Disney fan that I am, I was very excited to watch the live action version of Aladdin. There might have been some controversy regarding this film, but I loved it! The colours and scenery was stunning, the actors were great, and the music was beautiful.
