No such thing as too many Mickeys

Here’s what I wore Friday November 6. I had to wear this jumper and these jeans together, and go all out with the Mickey Mouse theme, and I love it! Btw, Mickey Mouse also appears on my sneakers and on the T-shirt and socks I wore. There’s no such thing as too many Mickeys if you ask me (clearly).

Asos post Christmas/January sale haul

It’s time for the second post Christmas/January sale haul, and these are the items I got from Asos.

Let’s get the Christmas items out of the way. I always like to purchase Christmas clothing on sale, and I bought the following three items from Asos: gingerbread men leggings from Monki (I have the matching T-shirt), blue cropped jumper with Christmas tree print from Asos’ own brand, and a Friends Christmas themed T-shirt also from Asos’ own brand.

I only purchased one more piece of clothing, and it’s this Elton John T-shirt from the brand Vintage Supply. I love Elton John’s music and his style!

And now on to shoes. As you will see, I’ve purchased many pairs of shoes, but this first pair might be my favourite. These shoes are the kind of shoes that you either love or hate, and I love them! They’re from Asos’ own brand (and so are the rest of the items in this haul apart from one pair of shoes), and I love the zipper detail and the chunky soles.

I’ve been seeing different two-toned boots around lately, and I just loved the burgundy and creamy white colour combo on this pair.

I thought these mules were so cute that I had to get them in two versions: satin pink with multicoloured rhinestones, and dark green croc with white rhinestones. When we’ll be able to go to parties again, I want to wear both of these pairs.

And speaking of mules, here are two more summery versions. I love the disco vibes of the silver pair, and I already own and love the turquoise version and the purple version of the Public Desire square sole mules, so I had to get the chocolate brown version as well.

And last, but not least, I’ve purchased two head accessories. You are probably tired of hearing about my obsession with the colour purple, but I mean, just look at that fluffy purple bucket hat. It’s so fun and goes perfectly with all my purple outfits. I also love zebra print and big hair clips, so my last purchase is just that; a big zebra print hair clip.

Intense and stunning

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. That green metallic eyeshadow from The Magic Mini palette by Juvia’s Place is so intense and so stunning! I have to remember to use that palette more often.

Matching purple corduroy

Here’s what I wore Wednesday November 4. When I bought the matching purple corduroy shirt to my purple corduroy trousers, I, of course, had to wear them together. I decided to pair the set with a pair of chunky black shoes and a sparkly black headband, and I love how the outfit turned out; quite simple, but definitely fun.

Monki sale haul

It’s time for a series of post Christmas/January sale hauls, and we’re starting off with a Monki haul.

One of the many things I miss about going physically to work, or anywhere else for that matter, is wearing all my shoes and wearing all my different coats. The only time I leave my apartment these days is to go for a walk or to go grocery shopping. And then I just wear boots and one out of a few different warm coats (because it’s freezing these days). However, it didn’t stop me from buying more coats (and shoes). I mean, how cute is this little puff sleeve grey woll coat!

And how pretty is the periwinkle, floral, satin shirt! I love the colour and the collar:) I already have several styling ideas in mind for this beauty.

I don’t buy a lot of basics, but I actually really like these solid coloured T-shirts from Monki. I have a purple and an olive green and know also a dark brown one. I love the fit, and they’re super soft.

This dress you’ve already seen me wear, because I wore it on New Year’s Eve. It might not look like it in this picture, but it’s a really flattering dress, and I needed to feel and look good on the last night of 2020.

I already have a roll neck top in this pattern, and I have this style of skirt in two other patterns, so of course I had to have this skirt. I’m definitely going to style it with the matching top.

I love a midi skirt, and I just loved the colours of this checked, satin number. I’ve already worn it twice, so stayed tuned for upcoming outfit posts featuring this skirt.

Last, but not least, I’ve purchased a pair of velvet flares, and I love them. I’ve also worn these several times already, and they’re so comfy, and I’ve had so much fun styling them.

Light blue disappointment

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. It was my first time using the NikkieTutorials x Beautybay pressed pigment palette, and I was a bit disappointed in that light blue shade. It took me a while to build up, and I had to pull in another blue eyeshadow to get the look to where I wanted it. However, I’ve tried some other shades from the palette since though that are more pigmented and a lot easier to work with.

(Base: primer –  e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer, foundation – Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory), concealer – L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory), powders – e.l.f. HD Undereye setting powder in Sheer + Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed powder (shade: 001 Transparent) + Hourglass Ambient Lighting Ethereal Edit palette (shade: Ethereal Light). Face make-up: bronzer – Maybelline City Bronzer in 100 Light Cool, blusher – MAC Glow Play blush in So Natural, highlighter – MAC Flashing Ice Extra Dimension Skinfinish Trio: Light (shade: Glitzed Out). Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Essence eyeshadow in 05 Granny Pants + NikkieTutorials x Beautybay pressed pigment palette (shades: Basic Trut + Plot Twist + Ivy) + Jeffree Star Blue Blood palette (shade: Blue Blood), mascara – L’Oréal Lash Paradise mascara, eyeliner – MAC Dual Powerprint eye pencil (shade: Be Cool Bb). Eyebrows: Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim pencil in Medium Brown + e.l.f. Clear Brow & Lash Mascara. Lips: Essence Invisible Kiss transparent lipliner in 01 Multitalent Wonder + MAC Kinkster lipstick)

Blue and beige

Here’s what I wore Tuesday November 3. This outfit made me aware of the fact that blue and beige is a really pretty colour combo.

(Sweater vest – Soyaconcept, roll neck top + jeans – H&M, socks – Monki, boots – Asos)

Monochromatic pink

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. It’s not often I do monochromatic pink make-up looks (I actually don’t remember if I’ve ever done one), but I like it:) Monochromatic make-up looks always look great.

(Base: primers – Wet n Wild Photofocus face primer matte + MAC Strobe Cream (shade: Pinklite), foundation – Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory), concealer – L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory), powders – e.l.f. HD Undereye setting powder in Sheer + Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed powder (shade: 001 Transparent) + Hourglass Ambient Lighting Ethereal Edit palette (shade: Ethereal Light). Face make-up: bronzer – The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing powder (shade: 02 fair matte), blusher – Hourglass Ambient Lighting Ethereal Edit palette (shade: Diffused Heat), highlighters – Maybelline Master Holographic Prismatic highlighter in 50 Opal + Essence Bloom Baby, Bloom! baked highlighter in 02 Rose & Shine!.
