Beauty Bay haul – mainly sale (October 2024)

I have a Beauty Bay haul to share with you today. It consists of products from By BEAUTY BAY, Glisten Cosmetics, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Made By Mitchell.

You can say that I collect the By BEAUTY BAY limited edition 20 colour palettes, so I had to pick up the 2024 holiday palette called Celestial Charms. I love purples and I really like jewel tones as well, so this is a very pretty colour story. This is the only product in this haul that wasn’t on sale.

I’d been wanting to try the Glisten Cosmetics Spectra Lash mascaras, which come in a bunch of fun colours. I picked up the ones in Green and Periwinkle. I also bought another Anastasia Beverly Hills lip liner, and it’s in the shade Caramel.

This might have been a bit of an excessive purchase, because who needs this many cream blushes in one palette? But I really like the Made By Mitchell Curve Cases, and it was 50% off, so I caved.

The rest of the products in this haul are different highlighters from Made By Mitchell. The Blursh Lights liquid highlighters are probably my favourite products from Made By Mitchell, so I picked up these two fun shades from the Graffiti collection; the green one is called Zombie and the purple one is called Offline. I also wanted to try out the Slip Dew cream highlighter and chose the shade Crystal Drip. I’m not sure how I feel about that formula yet though.

Lastly, I’d also been wanting to try the Made By Mitchell Blursh Press’d duo highlighter palette, even though I really dislike the packaging. I picked the Dripped In Ice duo, which has the two shades Drip Drip and Ice Ice BB, which also comes in the liquid version. The highlighter duo also came with a highlighter brush, which is nice.

Welcome foolish mortals

5 favourites – March

March has come to an end, and in Denmark we’ll be starting of April with a couple of beautiful sunny spring days. I’m so ready for warmer weather, so I’m hoping to see more of it throughout the month. All of my March favourites that I’ll be sharing with you today are beauty-related. I tried out two great foundations, fell more in love with a blush formula and a mascara shade, and wore a beautiful nail colour.

Maybelline Superstay Lumi Matte foundation (shade: 96): I’d been wanting to try this foundation ever since it launched, and I’m so glad I finally decided to buy it, because it’s so nice. I’m not into matte foundations, but a lumi matte foundation, I can get behind. It’s a buildable foundation, which I like, and it just looks great on the skin.

Essence foundation stick in (shade: 50): I love to wear a stick foundation on days where I have to get up early to go to work early, and I’ve been really enjoying this one from Essence. It’s quick and easy to apply, and it looks good.

Huda Beauty Liquid Blush Filters (various shades): These might be my favourite liquid blushes in my collection. This formula is so good! I have a bunch of shades, and I’ll probably continue to add more.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara (shade: Burgundy Haze): This is one of my absolute favourite mascara formulas, and I love that it comes in so many shades now. The shade Burgundy Haze has been my favourite though, because it goes with so many different eye looks.

Catrice Gel Affair nail lacquer (shade: 033 You’re The Lime To My Tequila): I’ve noticed that I’ve been loving lime green more and more, and this nail colour is so stunning. It’s pretty much the perfect spring nail colour.

Dark reds and lavender purple

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I think this make-up look is so pretty. I love the dark reds paired with the lavender purple on the eyes, and that red lip is stunning if I do say so myself.

(Base: primer – e.l.f. Cosmetics Liquid Poreless Putty primer, foundation – Missha M Perfect Cover B.B Cream Spf 42 (shade: 21 Light Beige), concealers – Rare Beauty Positive Light under eye brightener (shade: Light) + Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer (shade: 1.3G Marshmellow), powders – Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Brightening Flawless Finish powder (shade: Fair/Medium) + Anastasia Beverly Hills loose setting powder in Translucent. Face make-up: I forgot to write it down. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Essence eyeshadow in 20 Cream + Bellabeautébar Vamp palette (shades: Immortality + Drained + Mikaelson + Salvatore + Hello, Brother + Predator + Threshold + Skin of a Killer), mascaras – MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash mascara + Pat McGrath Labs Dark Star mascara, eyeliner – Oden’s Eye Solmåne gel liner in 008 Lavender. Asos haul – mainly sale (October 2024)

I have an Asos haul to share with you today. The haul includes clothes and accessories, and I purchased most of the items on sale. Let’s begin with clothes.

I picked up two oversized T-shirts from Asos Design. The first one has a bubblegum machine on the back, and the other one, as you can see, is leopard print.

And speaking of leopard print, I also got a leopard print tank top from Stradivarius.

The last piece of clothing I picked up was this wrap style denim skirt from COLLUSION, which I’ve worn quite a bit.

I purchased a bunch of spooky/Halloween inspired pieces of jewellery. The spider earrings and the spider brooch weren’t on sale, but I had to have those.

These are the other jewellery I picked up. The big pink beaded earrings are from Asos Design, the flower rhinestone earrings are from True Decadence, and the bow brooch is from Reclaimed Vintage.

The last thing I got was this big red sequin bow hair clip from Pieces, and you know I love me a big bow hair clip.

Warm-toned and cool-toned

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I remember having a lot of fun creating this eye look; I really like the warm-toned eye lid paired with a cool-toned lower lash line.

(Base: primers – Huda Beauty Glowish Blur Jam silicone-free smoothing primer + e.l.f. Cosmetics Halo Glow Liquid Filter (shade: 1 Fair), foundation – e.l.f. Colourpop news + 20% off haul (October 2024)

I have a collective Colourpop haul to share with you today. It includes products from a couple of new at the time collections plus some products I got 20% off.

I love a Christmas themed make-up collection, and the Colourpop x Frosty the Snowman collection is just so cute. I picked up the entire collection bundle.

The Frosty the Snowman palette has a very pretty, icy, cool-toned colour story, which is a bit different from a more traditional Christmas colour story, and I like that. I wore the palette and some of the other products from the collection here.

I really enjoy the Jelly Much eyeshadows from Colourpop, and the Frosty the Snowman collection included the Snow Days! Jelly Much eyeshadow duo in Freezin’ and Made Of Snow, which are a pastel blue shade and a pastel lilac pink shade.

The Super Shock highlighter is one of my favourite products from Colourpop, so I was probably most excited about the Fastest Belly-Whopper Super Shock highlighter kit from this collection. The shades are called Winter Wonder and Icicle Spree, and they’re so pretty!

Moving on to lips, this is the Chill Out! So Juicy plumping gloss balm set in Frozen, All Melted, and Feeling Like Frosty.

And these are the Snow Much Fun! Lux lipstick kit including Magic Hat Lippie pencil and Silly Snowman Lux lipstick and the Happy Jolly Fun! Lux lipstick kit including Over The Hills lippie pencil and First Snow Lux lipstick. I like all of the lip products, but the Lippie pencils are my favourites.

The collection also included the Welcome to the North Pole lip care set, which comes with the Northbound lip mask and the Have A Parade lip scrub, which are both candy cane scented.

And the last item in the Frosty the Snowman collection was the Everyone’s Favorite Snowman makeup sponge. So cute!

Now, let’s move on to the other two items that was new-ish at the time and therefore wasn’t on sale. I loved Bratz growing up, so I picked up the Bratz Girls Nite Out palette and the Bratz Jade Lippie kit from the Bratz collection.

The colour story of this palette is dark and cool-toned, and I actually think it would pair quite well with the Frosty the Snowman palette.

The Bratz Jade Lippie kit included a Lippie pencil and a Lippie Stix in the shade Koolkat.

I got the rest of the products in this haul 20% off. I’d been thinking about getting the Haunted Mansion Welcome Foolish Mortals palette ever since it launched for the first time around Halloween in 2023, so when it was back in stock and 20% off I had to add it to my cart. It’s another cool-toned palette that would pair well with the Frosty the Snowman palette and the Bratz Girls Nite Out palette.

The last palette in this haul is the After Hours palette, and guess what, it’s another cool-toned palette. I guess I was into buying cool-toned palettes at the time.

The Winx Club palette was actually one of my first Colourpop purchases ever, and when they rereleased the collection last year, they added some more products including the Winx Club Super Shock highlighter in Magix Gem. I don’t prefer this packaging but the highlighter itself is beautiful.

The Colourpop BBF crème gel liners are some of my favourite eyeliners, so I picked up some more shades (from left to right): Aglow (back-up), Amethyst Hour, Joy Ride, and Charmer.

The last three products I picked up was the liquid blush in She’s Cute, the So Juicy plumping glossy lip oil in Beverly Drive, and the Power Pout lipstick in Party Hour. I just wanted to try these formulas out.

Satin textures

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I think my make-up look matches the satin textures in my outfit very well.

Zalando haul – mainly sale (October 2024)

I have a Zalando haul to share with you today. I purchased most of these items on sale.

I love adding a new pair of Nike Cortez sneakers to my ever growing Nike Cortez collection, and how fun are these orange ones?!

I also love adding new pairs of Crocs to my ever growing Crocs collection, and this time around I added these three pairs, which are all different versions of the Stomp style.

And speaking of Crocs, I also got these three sets of Jibbitz to add to different pairs of Crocs.

Lastly, I purchased two more pairs of coloured tights from Calzedonia. These weren’t on sale.
