I bought these e.l.f. products a little while back and I thought I would show them to you. I picked up another back-up of the Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara, because that stuff is just amazing. I use it to set my brows every single day. I also thought I would try out a couple of more brushes from the cheapest line, because I love the Eyeshadow brush. I decided to get the Eye Crease Brush and the Eyelash & Brow Wand. I’ve only used them once or twice so far, so I don’t have an opinion on them yet. Lastly, I bought a Matte Lip Color in the colour Tea Rose. I’ve only worn it a minute or so, because I decided to go with another lip colour that evening, but I looking forward to wearing it a whole day to see how it wears. I’m not sure the colour suits me though, but I’ll definitely try to make it work.

Four for the upper body
I love getting clothes from my sister that she doesn’t use anymore; it’s a nice way of saving some money. The last time I went home I got these four tops from her. I’ve already worn the banana sweatshirt, and I’ll post the outfit where I’m wearing it some other time. I’m wearing the grey sweatshirt right now, and at first I didn’t know whether I wanted it or not, because it’s quite wide, but I actually really like it. The sleeveless shirt is similar to one I already have, this one just has a pattern, and it’s perfect to wear underneath sweatshirts and sweater. I haven’t worn the denim vest yet, but I’m curious about coming up with different ways of styling it.
Rouge Edition Velvets
I mentioned in this post that my sister had bought some awesome lip products for me as well. It’s these two Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet liquid lipsticks that I’ve been wanting to try for a long time, and I’m so stoked I finally got them, because they are amazing. I’m obsessed with them! They have a matte finish and they look and feel like velvet. The colours I’ve got are Hot Pepper (03) and Pink Pong (06) and both colours are absolutely gorgeous, so I’m having a really hard time picking my favourite.
All about them cheeks
My sister went to London in March and bought some make-up for me. In this post I’m going to talk about two face palettes, and in another post I’m going to talk about some awesome lip products. Anyways, contour kits are all the rage right now, and my sister showed me the Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit over Skype one day, and I asked her if she wanted to buy me one as well. It has a highlight shade, a bronzing shade, and a contour shade. The bronzing and contour shades are a bit on the dark side (at least for my fair skintone), so I haven’t played around with them too much yet. So far I like the highlight shade. It has a tiny bit of sheen to it, and I like to use it to set my under eye area and I also like to use it down the bridge of my nose and bit on the chin. The other palette I got is the Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in Hot Spice. It’s the first product I’ve used from Makeup Revolution and so far I like it. It contains 8 blush shades (one is more of a highlight shade) in different peachy colours. I haven’t worn all the shades yet, but the ones I have worn I like. I really like that the shades have different finishes; some are matte and some are more shimmery. I can’t wait to spend more time playing around with these palettes.
Another 3 for 2
I just love 3 for 2 deals at the drugstore. A little while back there was such a deal on Maybelline, and I bought these three lip products. I bought another Colorsensational lipstick. I’d been eyeing the colour Mauve Mania (342), so when I saw the 3 for 2 deal, it was the first product I picked up. I also decided to get another Color Drama lip pencil, and I chose the colour Fuchsia Desire (150). The last product I picked up was one of the Elixir lipglosses that I’ve been wanting to try out for a long time. I got the colour Hibiscus Haven (110). I haven’t tried it on yet, but I like the colour, the applicator, and the cute packaging.
MAC Bao Bao Wan
When I bought these MAC lippies online, I also bought this lipstick from the MAC Bao Bao Wan collection. It’s a limited edition shade, and it’s called Lavender Jade. When I saw it, I just couldn’t resist. It’s a matte lavender purple colour, and it’s so bright and so fun. Probably not the most wearable colour, but I love it! Oh, and the packaging is gorgeous too. Love the copper details.
MAC Toledo
I had been waiting for the MAC Toledo collection to come to Denmark, and when it finally did I was lucky enough to get my hands on the three products I wanted. Before I go further into details about the products (which are all limited edition), I just want to quickly adress the packaging of this collection. It might not be everybody’s cup of tea, but I personally love it. I think it’s so cool and different and pretty, and I love the rubbery texture of it.
I was actually a bit in doubt whether I should get one of the ombre blushers from the collection, but when I saw and swatch this one in store, I just had to have. I got the colour Azalea Blossom which goes from a light baby pink into a gorgeous purple. It’s very different from any other blusher I own, and I think it’s absolutely beautiful.
On the other hand I was not at all in doubt whether I should buy these lip products or not. For once I actually fell in love with the lipgloss (or lipglass I might say) at first and then decided to get the matching lipstick. They are both in the colour Oxblood which is a very strange name for nude lip products. Anyways, the lipglass has a bit of a pinky/mauve undertone, whereas the lipstick is a (matte) brown nude with a slightly peachy undertone. Nonetheless, they look incredible together, and I’m really happy I bought both of them.
Lightscapade
In this post I mentioned that I had bought another highlighter as well, and here it is. I’ve been craving the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade for ages, and about a month ago I finally bought it, and I’m so glad I did. It’s the most gorgeous pearly, champagne shade; perfect for fair skin. You can apply it very lightly for a subtle highlight, but you can also build it up for a more intense look. I know this is not the most affordable highlighter, but I definitely think it’s worth the money. If you’re looking for a good drugstore highlighter, I’ll recommend the e.l.f. Baked Blush in Pink Tastic.
Pink Tastic
There’s nothing like pretty, highlighted cheekbones to complete a make-up look. My favourite highlighter for the past year or so has been the Stila All Over Shimmer Duo Highlighter in Kitten, but I thought it was time to mix it up a bit in the highlight department, so I bought two new highlighters last month. One of them is this e.l.f. Baked Blush in the colour Pink Tastic. The name says it’s a blusher, but it’s definitely a highlighter. I’d heard so many good things about this highlighter, and it really is a great product and so affordable. It has a slight peachy pink tint to it, and you can really build it up if you want an intense highlight, but you can also dust it lightly over the skin for a more subtle sheen. I really like this highlighter, but I like the other one I bought even more, but more about that in another post.
‘Big’ shopping trip

When I was in high school I usually bought a lot of clothes at one shopping trip, but the past few years my clothes shopping pattern has been more like buying one or two items here and there, but a few weeks back I actually bought four items at once. I unintentionally destoyed my black jeans a while back, so I needed to buy a new pair, and I found a pair of affordable skinny and stretchy ones at H&M, and so far I like them. Several years ago I found a picture online of a sweatshirt with dinosaurs on it, and ever since I’ve been wanting a sweatshirt with a dinosaur print, and as you can see I was lucky enough to find two on my ‘big’ shopping trip. I think both of them are super cute; I’ve worn the mint green one, and I loved it, and I’m looking forward to wear the grey one as well. The last item I bought was the pretty, black kimono in the last picture. It was really affordable, and I think it’ll be great for spring and summer.
