Beauty Bay haul (December 2022)

I have a Beauty Bay haul to share with you today. It’s a slightly smaller Beauty Bay haul, but I’m really excited about these products.

Firstly, I picked up the Sigma Beauty x Disney Alice in Wonderland eyeshadow palette and cheek duo. I’m becoming quite fond of Sigma Beauty’s products, so I really wanted to try these products from the Alice in Wonderland collection. I wore both products here, and they performed beautifully.

I’ve already featured the e.l.f. Cosmetics Halo Glow Liquid Filter in a 5 favourites post, and it really is as good as people say. I got mine in the shade 1 Fair.

From e.l.f. Cosmetics I also purchased the Jelly Pop Juicy Melon Glow Set which includes the Jelly Pop dew primer and the Jelly Pop glow stick. I like the primer so far, and I’ve only worn the glow stick once, but it was nice as well.

The Made By Mitchell Blursh Press’d blushers have some of the ugliest packaging that I’ve ever seen. They’re so big and bulky too. However, they come in so many pretty and fun shades, so I had to pick up the following three shades; All Riped up (the orange), Sun Trap (the yellow), and For The Lovers (the purple). I haven’t worn the yellow one yet, but I liked the other two and especially the purple one.

Lastly, I bought the Made By Mitchell Blursh Bronzed liquid bronzer in Hollo There and the Made By Mitchell Blursh Lights liquid highlighter in Candy Trip. I hadn’t tried his liquid bronzers before, but so far I’m quite impressed by the quality, blendability, and shade. I knew I loved the liquid highlighters, and this pink shade is a nice addition to my collection.

Sparkly and shifty

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I tried to incorporate different shades of pink and green to match my outfit and went with very sparkly and shifty eyeshadows.

Collective haul (December)

I have a collective haul to share with you today. These are all items I purchased in December, so you’ve seen some of them already.

I only have these two (or three) pieces of clothing to show you, and I’ve already worn them. I purchased the red wrap dress to wear on Christmas Eve and I also needed some bigger tights (for my wider mum body). They’re both from Monki, and I’m wearing them here.

I have two pairs of shoes to share with you as well. I’ve recently discovered that I have a thing for pink shoes, but I mean how cute are those pink satin sling backs from Monki?! And if you think you’ve seen the green boots before on my blog, you’re not completely wrong, because I also own them in blue. They’re from Topshop, and I’ve been loving both the blue and the green pair.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; I love statement earrings. This fun mismatched pair is from Pieces.

The rest of the items in this haul are make-up products. It’s not the first face palette I’ve ever picked up from Physicians Formula, but the other one I had, I didn’t love, so I’ve decluttered it from my collection. This one is the Butter Dream Team face palette, which comes with two bronzers, two blushers, a highlighter, and a face powder. I’m really excited to try this palette out.

The other product I picked up from Physicians Formula is the Butter Donut bronzer in Sprinkles. The spinkles are an overspray, but I don’t mind that, and so far I actually quite like this bronzer. And it smells like coffee, which I love (btw, I really dislike the tropical scent of the original Butter bronzers).

I usually like Essence highlighters, so I had to pick up this Christmas themed one. It’s the Cookies For Santa baked highlighter in 01 Baked With Love.

I’m not particularly interesting in watching the new Avatar: The Way of Water film, but I thought this collab with NYX looked interesting. I picked up the Luminescent lip gloss in Ilu-Minate, the Biolume stick in Seagrass, and the Pandoran Paradise cheek palette.

Here’s a closer look at the products. I’ve only worn some of the blushes from the Pandoran Paradise cheek palette so far, and I liked them more than I thought I would.

Lastly, I got two lip products from MAC. I purchased another shade of the Powder Kiss liquid lipcolours. This one is limited edition from the 2022 holiday collection, and it’s called Spiked Cocoa. I also bought another shade of the Powder Kiss Velvet Blur Slim Sticks, and it’s in the shade Rose Mary. I’m excited to wear both of these.

Purple glam

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’d been dying to try the GlossGods Cosmetics Vintage Glam Remixed palette ever since I got it, and I’m not disappointed. The shimmers are absolutely stunning!

Banana powder in 10 Bababanana + Dior Backstage Face & Body Powder-No-Powder in 0 Neutral. Peachy

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’m not sure I like the light peachy nude lip, but I think the eye look is very pretty.

(Base: primer – e.l.f Cosmetics Power Grip primer, foundation – Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory), concealers – Sigma Beauty Spectrum Color-Correcting Duo in Light to Medium + Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer (shade: 1.3G Marshmellow), powder – Huda Beauty Easy Bake powder in Sugar Cookie. Face make-up: bronzer – KimChi Chic Beauty Thailor bronzer in 01 I Went to Malibu, blusher – Made By Mitchell Blursh Press’d blusher in All Riped Up, highlighter – Smashbox x Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector pressed highlighter (shade: Rose Quartz). 5 favourites – January

The first month of 2023 has come to an end. January always feels longer than the other months, and even though it felt like this one went by a little faster than usual now that I have a baby, it was still pretty long. February will probably be a bit more stressful, since me and my little family is moving in March, but I’m really looking forward to be moving into a bigger place. Anyways, it’s the last day of the month, which means that it’s time for my monthly 5 favourites.

Smashbox x Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector (shade: Fair/Light): I’ve discovered two great correctors within the last six months. I use a corrector on my under eye area most times I do my make-up these days, and I really do see a difference. I know that this one has been a favourite among people even back when Becca was still it’s own brand, but I didn’t try it out until recently.

Rare Beauty Warm Wishes Effortless bronzer (shade: Power Boost): I’ve heard so many beauty youtubers say that this cream bronzer is one of their absolute favourites, and I get why. I don’t think I’d go as far as saying that it’s my absolute favourite, but a favourite it sure is.

Morphe Continuous setting mist: This isn’t just a January favourite, this setting spray has been a favourite of mine for months, I’ve just forgotten to include it in a favourites post. It has the finest mist, and it’s just such a good setting spray.

MAC Fast Response Eye Cream: I love it when I receive a free gift with purchase that I end up really enjoying. That’s the case with this eye cream. I love the texture of it, and I think my under eyes look really good these days.

National Treasure: Edge of History (TV series): I like the National Treasure films despite disliking Nicolas Cage as an actor, so I thought that I would definitely give this series a watch. I’ve been watching it with my boyfriend, and we both really enjoy. I’m excited to see how it ends.

Oden’s Eye Black Friday haul

Oden’s Eye is one of my favourite brand discoveries from 2022, and they had one of the best Black Friday sales. Most products were 30% or 40% off, so I picked up three eyeshadow palettes and a lip stain.

The first palette I picked up is the Cat’s Breath palette from the Saga of Freja collection. I love this colour story (the next make-up look I’ll be posting features this palette), and I’m pretty impressed by the quality.

I also bought the Norn’s eyeshadow palette. I haven’t used this one yet, but I think it’s a very interesting colour story, and I’m especially excited about trying the last row of shimmers.

The last palette I got is the Alva II eyeshadow palette, which I wore here. I’m very inspired by this colour story as well, and I was really happy with the look I created with it.

I haven’t tried any lip products from Oden’s Eye, so I thought I would try the Alva cream lip stain. I picked up the shade A103 Sweet Tulip, which is a rusty orangy red.

Neutral with a subtle pop of colour

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. There’s something very pretty and flattering about a neutral make-up look with a subtle pop of colour.

(Base: primers – Huda Beauty Glowish Blur Jam silicone-free smoothing primer + Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter (shade: 1 Fair), foundation – Catrice HD Liquid Coverage foundation (shade: 002 Porcelain Beige), concealers – Anastasia Beverly Hills Magic Touch concealer (shades: 1 + 3), powders – Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Tone Up in Rose + Catrice HD Baking & Setting loose powder in C01 Translucent. Face make-up: bronzer – Physicians Formula Butter Donut bronzer in Sprinkles, blusher + highlighter – Sigma Beauty x Disney Alice in Wonderland cheek duo (shades: Paint The Roses + Tickled Pink). Eye make-up: base – Sigma Beauty Eyeshadow Base Primer in Persuade, eyeshadows – Essence eyeshadow in 05 Granny Pants + Sigma Beauty x Disney Alice in Wonderland eyeshadow palette (shades: 10/6 + Curiouser + Alice + White Rabbit), mascaras – MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash mascara + Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara Cosmic Black, eyeliner – Oden’s Eye Solmåne gel liner in 007 Baby Blue. Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze + Soda #browpurrfection Ultra Thin Brow Liner in 003 Kim. Lips: Natasha Denona I Need a Nude lip crayon in NP1 Natasha + MAC Lustreglass Sheer-Shine lipstick in I’ve Been Naughty!)

Collective beauty haul – including Black Friday (November)

I have a collective beauty haul to share with you today. Some of the items were purchased in Black Friday sales. But first, let’s begin with some Natasha Denona.

I love Natasha Denona eyeshadows, and I really like the Mini Retro palette, so I was pretty excited about the Retro Glam palette launch. Of all the ND palettes I think this one might have the prettiest packaging. I think the colour story is super pretty too, and I used the palette to create this eye look.

I purchased the eyeshadow palette and the cheek trio from the Natasha Denona My Dream collection when the collection launched, but I’ve heard so many great things about the lip products from the collection as well, so I picked up the I Need a Nude lip crayon in NP1 Natasha and the I Need A Nude lipstick in 11NB Natasha.

I also picked up a few more lipsticks. I’ve been wanting the Rare Beauty Kind Words matte lipstick in Bold ever since the release of this lipstick line, but this particular shade kept being sold out, so when it finally came back in stock, I didn’t hesitate to buy it.

I got both of these Pat McGrath Labs X Bridgerton SatinAllure lipsticks on sale. They’re in the shades Infatuation and Négligée, and I just thought the packaging was so cute.

I was very lucky to get a bunch of free gifts with my Sephora purchases among others some single Natasha Denona shadows as samples from her most recent palettes, a full size Beauty Blender, and a bunch of other samples.

Let’s move on to MAC. I picked up the MAC Pro Eye Palette: The Bad Girl, which includes 6 cream eyeshadows in blue and green shades. I hadn’t heard anything about this product before, but I loved the colours, and I’ve been really into cream eyeshadows, so I thought I would try them out. I also purchased the MAC Studio Sculpt SPF 15 foundation in NC15.

I also got the Cleanse Off Oil, which had leaked a lot, but I never got around to sending it back, so I just cleaned it off and kept it. This is a great product for removing matte liquid lipsticks.

And as a free gift with purchase, I received the MAC Superstar Kits Lashes to Lips Kit which comes with a Prep+Prime lip, a MAC M·A·CStack mascara, and a lipstick in the classic shade Velvet Teddy. These are all three products I enjoy.

Here’s a random little limited edition holiday set I picked up from Kiko Milano. It’s called the Joyful Holiday Magic Icons Makeup Kit and includes an eyeshadow quad and a lipstick. These are my first Kiko Milano products.

These are the last four products in this haul. I picked up another Maybelline Superstay Vinyl Ink, because I love this lipstick formula. It’s in the shade 45 Capricious. From Smashbox x Becca I got the Shimmering Skin Perfector pressed highlighter in Rose Quartz and the Under Eye Brightening Corrector in Fair/Light, and I love both products. And from KVD Beauty I purchased the last Dazzle Stick long-wear eyeshadow that I missed from my collection. It’s in the shade Lightning Strike.
