I thought I would show you a few products I bought at the drugstore a little while ago. I’m sure I’ve mentioned before that I loved the Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro primer, but sadly it has been discontinued, so I thought I would give the Rimmel Fix & Protect makeup primer a go. I like it, but I still think I prefer the Fix & Perfect one. The second product I bought was the Maybelline Master Strobing Stick in the shade 100 Light-Iridescent. I usually go for powder highlighters, but this cream stick version looked so pretty and convenient. I’m making a first impressions post on this product some time next week, so keep an eye on that if you want to know my thoughts about it. Lastly, I bought another Gosh Velvet Touch lipliner. I’m always on the hunt for good red lip liners, and this one looked very pretty. It’s in the shade 004 Simply Red.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I love the autumnal vibe of this look; I think the greens on the eyes look great paired with the dark lip.

I recently discovered some new additions to the e.l.f. display at my local supermarket, and I decided to try out a few things. The product I’ve been most impressed with is the Eye Refresh. It has a cooling sensation and it brightens and refreshes the eye area to help alleviate under eye puffiness and dark circles. It feels really good and I’ve noticed how it really does alleviate under eye puffiness, and I think it’s an awesome product to use on those days where you look extra tired. I was obviously drawn to the Illuminating Palette. I’ve only used it once or twice so far, so I haven’t formed a proper opinion about it yet, but I get the feeling that they’re quite subtle highlight powders, so maybe you could even use them to set concealer on the under eye area. The Blemish Control Face Primer is supposed to help control breakouts and blemishes while priming the skin, and I’ve actually used it quite a bit, and I like it so far. Lastly, I thought I would try out the Blending Brush, because I’ve had such good experiences with e.l.f. brushes in the past, and this is another good one.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I really like how the peachy champagne on my eyelids are almost wet looking, and a hot pink lip just always looks great in my opinion.

I was so impressed with the first two Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipsticks I bought that I had to get hold of some more shades. The bright yellow is called Queen Bee and is from the limited edition summer collection, the nude is called Celebrity Skin, the deep brown red is called Unicorn Blood, the dark mauve is called Androgyny, and the dusty green is called Dirty Money. These colours are gorgeous, and you’ll definitely see me wear these in future make-up posts.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. You might have noticed by now that I have a soft spot for purple lipstick, and this metallic one is just gorgeous.

We are quickly moving into the last month of autumn and soon December will be just around the corner (yay!). I’ve been in a Christmas mood since September, so I’m so ready for December, but I have a lot of fun things coming up in November as well. If anyone celebrated Halloween this weekend or maybe today I hope you had/are having a great time, and before we say goodbye to October, let’s talk about some of my favourite things from the past month.
Adidas ZX Flux sneakers: These sneakers has been my go-to shoes this past month. They’re super comfortable and I think the black and white pattern adds a cool touch to any outfit.
Urban Decay All Nighter makeup setting spray: This product has been a favourite of mine since I bought it and I use it almost everyday. I’ve been giving a lot of concerts with the choir this month, and it’s been nice to know that my make-up would stay put throughout those concerts (and rehearsals).
Double Dutch braids/plaits (hairstyle): I’ve absolutely loved this hairstyle for several months now, but I’ve especially worn my hair like this a lot this past month. It just adds a little extra something to any outfit + it’s really comfortable to wear your hair away from the face like this.
Hagelslag: I know this might be a bit of a strange favourite, but when I was in the Netherlands I discovered hagelslag. I don’t know if any of you know it, but it looks like sprinkles, but it taste different than regular sprinkles and then you put it on bread and eat it for breakfast. I’m especially loving the chocolate ones; they’re so good.
On What You’re On – Busted: I’m one of the people who are really exited about Busted being reunited. I’ve been a huge Busted fan since I was 14 and it’s my second favourite band (McFly is my favourite). When they announced that they were making new music I had no idea what to expect, but this song is amazing. It’s different from the music they used to make, but I still absolutely love it. I love the funky vibe of the song, and it’s just so catchy.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. This blue lip is so much fun and to match it I wore blue eyeliner on my waterline and blue mascara on my bottom lashes.

Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Urban Decay Naked 2 eyeshadow palette (shades: Foxy + Tease) + MAC Nylon eye shadow, mascaras – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express + NYX Color mascara in Blue, eyeliner – Makeup Geek Full Spectrum eye liner pencil in Cobalt. Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel. Lips: Makeup Geek Full Spectrum eye liner pencil in Cobalt (as lip liner) + MAC Midnight Troll lipstick)
How pretty is this Pearlmatte face powder from MAC’s It’s A Strike collection?! It’s called Trophy and from the first time I saw it I knew I had to have it. It’s almost to pretty to use, don’t you think?:)
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I hadn’t worn my MAC Mythology eye shadow nearly as much as I wanted to, because it has quite chunky glitter and therefore a lot of fall out, but I decided to try to use it with some MAC Fix + to intensify it and make it stick better to the eyelid, and I think it worked out quite well. I tried to match my lip colour to the eye shadow to create a monochrome look, and I really like how it turned out.
