Asos sale haul + new Nike AF1

Today’s haul is an Asos sale haul (mostly). It includes shoes, clothes, accessories, and make-up. So let’s get started.

The only thing in this haul that I didn’t get on sale are these Nike Air Force 1 Crater Flyknit MOVE TO ZERO sneakers. I’d been wanting them for a while, and at some point I finally decided to get them. I love the colours and the knitted fabric, and they’re very comfy.

The other pair of shoes in this haul I’ve been kind of obsessed with. I mean, how stunning are these green leather boots from Asos Design! I love the colour, the shape, and everything else about these boots, and I’ve worn them a lot.

And now on to a couple of T-shirts. The purple T-shirt with Mickey Mouse on it is from Daisy Street, and the navy one with the basketball playing skeleton T-Rex is from Adidas.

I also purchased two Christmas T-shirts on sale both from Asos Design. It’s always a good idea to get your Christmas clothes early and on sale.

Let’s get in to the accessories. I purchased the matching necklace to the earrings in this haul, because I thought it would be cute to wear them together. I also got a cute pair of flower earrings from Monki.

Then I also picked up a pair of reddish brown sunglasses and some big hair clips from Asos Design.

And last, but not least, make-up. I’ve already talked about the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter in my latest 5 favourites post, and I really enjoy this product (mostly). I’ve got the shade 1 Fair. I also picked up the Huda Beauty Glowish Soft Radiance bronzing powder in 1 Light, which is a very pretty bronzer.

The last three make-up items I picked up are the Huda Beauty Easy Bake powder in Sugar Cookie, the NYX Sweet Cheeks Glow blush in Silence Is Golden, and NYX Brow Glue Instant brow styler. I really don’t like the packaging on the Huda Beauty powder, and it has a very strong perfumy scent, so I actually haven’t worn it that much, but I’ve liked the way it looks when I’ve worn it. I love the NYX Sweet Cheeks Matte blush in Silence Is Golden, so I really wanted the glowy version as well. They’re both such great yellow blushers. I think I like the NYX Brow Glue Instant brow styler, but it is very sticky. I don’t reach for it very often, because I pretty much always go for the ABH Brow Freeze.

Perfect circo loco

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The Natasha Denona Circo Loco palette is just the perfect palette for orange and pink looks.

(Base: primer – Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter (shade: 1 Fair), foundation – Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory), concealer – L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory), powders – e.l.f. HD powder in Soft Luminance + Fenty Beauty Pro Filt´r Instant Retouch setting powder in Butter. Face make-up: bronzer – Huda Beauty GloWish Soft Radiance bronzing powder in 1 Light, blusher – MAC Blush With Fame powder blush, highlighter – Jeffree Star Cosmetics Cavity Skin Frost highlighter palette (shade: Icing IV). Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze + Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim pencil in Medium Brown. Lips: MAC Talking Points lip pencil + MAC No Faux Pas lipstick)

A bit off

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. There’s something about this look that’s a bit off, but at the same time I don’t hate it.

Perfect quad

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The e.l.f. Cosmetics Bite-Size Eyeshadows in Carnival Candy was the perfect eyeshadow quad for this outfit. The quality of this quad was very nice too.

(Base: primer – NYX Angel Veil primer, foundation – Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory), concealers – L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory) + Essence Camouflage+ Healthy Glow concealer (shade: 10 Light Ivory), powder – Essence Brighten Up! MAC Hints of Hollywood kits

Last autumn, MAC did a collection called Hints of Hollywood, and it consisted of only kits. I picked up a lip kit, and eye kit, and a face kit.

I picked up the Award-Winning Lip Kit which includes a Prep + Prime lip primer, a Love Me lipstick in City Of Angels, and a lipglass in You Had Me At Halo. The lip kit also came in a red version and maybe a nude version (I can’t quite remember), but I picked up the more berry toned one. I absolutely love the mint and gold packaging of this collection.

This is the View from the Top Eye Kit: Light (it also came in a darker version), and it includes an 8 pan palette of the same name, and Eye Kohl in Teddy, and In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash mascara. I really like this 8 pan palette format that MAC has done a few times lately.

And last, but not least, I picked up the Blush With Fame kit, which includes a blush in the shade Blush with Fame and the #161S Brush. The last picture doesn’t really show how pretty and unique the blush is. It has this stunning peach to pink shift. The brush is very nice too.

Stunning glitter

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I think this make-up look is so pretty. That glitter on my lids is so stunning, and I love the pop of minty blue-green on the lower lash line.

(Base: primer – Essence Skin Lovin’ Sensitive primer, foundation – Catrice True Skin Hydrating foundation (shade: 002 Neutral Ivory), concealers – L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory) + Essence Skin Lovin’ Sensitive concealer (shade: 05 Fair), powders – e.l.f. Lips: MAC Boldly Bare lip pencil + MAC Princess Incognito lipstick + e.l.f. Cosmetics Mint Melt Gloss in A Hint of Mint)

All out with shimmer

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. It’s not that often that I go all out with shimmer on both eyes and lips, but I think it works in this case.

(Base: primer –  e.l.f. Poreless Putty primer, foundation – e.l.f. Cosmetics Camo CC Cream (shade: Fair 120N), concealer – L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory), powders – e.l.f. 5 favourites – January

It’s the last day of the first month of the new year. A bit crazy, right? I feels like it’s been a long month, but at the same time, I can’t believe that we’ll be in February by tomorrow. Workwise and pandemic wise it was a very tough month, and I have to say that I’m a little nervous about Denmark opening up the country completely and cancelling all restrictions tomorrow. But on a happier note, I had a lot of favourites this month, but as always I’ve narrowed them down to five. So here goes.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter (shade: 1 fair): I have yet to haul this product, but I’ve been using it for a few months, and I’ve been especially in to it in January. I’ve only used it as a primer so far, and it gives the skin the mosts beautiful glow. I really like the doe foot applicator, and the luxurious feeling of the bottle, however there’s one thing I can’t stand about the packaging, and that is that the small red letters that make up the writing on the front and especially on the back they do not stick to the bottle, and they go everywhere! So whenever I use this product I’m stuggling to remove little red letters from my face. However, the product itself is so good that I just have to live with that.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Camo CC Cream (shade: Fair 120N): I just hauled this foundation the other day, and in that haul post I mentioned that it was my favourite product from that haul. This is a full coverage CC Cream, which might sound a bit strange, but it really does have amazing coverage, and the finish is beautiful. I’ve already purchased a back up of this foundation.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Magic Touch concealer: I only think I’ve hauled one of these concealers, but I’ve actually purchased three different shades; 1, 3, and 4. I’m still not sure that any of these shades are my perfect shade, but I can use them all on one way or another, and the product is so good that I’m going to make use out of them. This is a full coverage concealer, and it blends out beautifully and looks great on the skin.

Clinique all about eyes: I have a skincare favourite this month as well. I got a free mini size Clinique all about eyes with a Sephora order a little while back, and I loved it so much that I purchased a full size (the picture). I’m still using the mini though, because a little product goes a long way, but it just softens the undereye area and reduces circles and puffs exactly as it says on the jar.

Eddie the Eagle (film): I watched several great new (to me) films this month, and it was really hard to pick my favourite, but I actually think the film I enjoyed watching the most was Eddie the Eagle. I’d been wanting to watch this film for so long, and this was the month I finally convinced my boyfriend to watch it with me, and as it turns out, he liked too. It’s just such an uplifting story, which is just what I needed this month, and I loved the performances of both Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman.

Blood money

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The lemon print gave me the perfect opportunity to play with my Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blood Money palette, which I for some reason had not been using that much. And I love the lip colour. It’s the perfect muted red shade.

(Base: primers – Essence Skin Lovin’ Sensitive primer + MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Illuminating Base (shade: Radiant Yellow), foundation – Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory), concealers – L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory) + Essence Skin Lovin’ Sensitive concealer (shade: 05 Fair), powders – Essence Brighten Up! Banana powder in 10 Bababanana + Essence Skin Lovin’ Sensitive mineral powder (shade: 01 Translucent). Face make-up: bronzer – Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle cream bronzer in Butta Bisquit, blusher – Maybelline Dream Matte Blush creamy cheek tint in 80 Burgundy Flush, highlighter – Catrice More Than Glow highlighter in 010 Ultimate Platinum Glaze. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Essence eyeshadow in 05 Granny Pants + Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blood Money palette (shades: Equity + Tax Free + Money Heist + Chameleon Fetish + Divine Intervention), mascara – Essence Volume Booster lash primer + Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara, eyeliner – Jeffree Star Automatic eyeliner in Resting Rich Face. Eyebrows: Soda #wowbrow Flat Brow Liner in Kim + MAC Brow Set in Clear. Lips: Urban Decay Gwen Stefani 24/7 Glide On lip pencil in 714 + Soda #talkofthetown lipstick in 006 Your Mood)
