I wore my hair like this about five weeks ago, and I thought it was quite cute, so I wanted to share it with you. The outfit and make-up I wore with this hair will be up on the blog next.

Pastels
This is what my nails have looked like this past week. I’ve been wanting to paint my nails in different pastel colours for a while, and I finally got around to doing it. It’s quite cute, isn’t it?

Old treasures
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. As I wrote in the outfit post the shirt was the inspiration behind my make-up look. As I have mentioned and as you might have noticed I haven’t done a lot of make-up shopping (or any shopping for that matter) the past couple of months, so I’ve been trying to use some make-up I haven’t been using in a long time. The main eye shadow in this look is an eye shadow from The Body Shop that I hadn’t worn in ages, and it turned out to be a perfect match for the shirt, and I love how the look turned out.

Eyelid Primer in Sheer, eye shadows – MUA Ever After matte eye shadow palette (shades: Fade + Smoke) + The Body Shop Eye Colour in 16 + MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade on browbone, mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – MUA Intense Colour eyeliner in Snow White. Lips: e.l.f. Matte Lip Color in Tea Rose)
Almost rose gold
This is what my nails looked like a few weeks back and the pictures really don’t do them justice. I’m wearing a beige/nude nail polish with a copper/silver glitter polish on top, and it almost made my nails look rose gold. The night I did my nails I thought it looked pretty, but this combo really grew on me and I love it.
5 favourites – April
I can’t believe that we are about to enter the last month of spring. April was a great month; I had a lot of great times in great company, but I was also quite busy with my studies. I’m sure I’ll continue to be busy, but also continue to have fun in the month to come, but before saying hello to May, I’m going to say goodbye to April by talking a bit about some of my favourite things from the month.
Slip-ons by Topshop: I bought these slip-ons when I was on exchange in England. I loved them then, and I love them just as much now. I’ve been wearing them a lot this month, because the weather has been quite nice.
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet liquid lipsticks: Usually when I feature a make-up product in one of these posts, I pick a specific shade, but I have an incredible hard time choosing between these two gorgeous shades, and I’ve been wearing both equally as many times, so I had to feature both. These are amazing, and I’m so sad that you can’t buy them in Denmark, because I would love to own every single shade.
Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit (highlight shade): Like the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvets my sister bought this contour kit for me in London. I haven’t used the bronzing and contour shades that much yet (they’re a bit dark), but I’m loving the highlight shade. I use it to set and brighten my under eye area, and I also like to lightly apply it down the bridge of my nose and on my chin.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water: I’d heard a lot of good things about this cleansing water, so when I found it on sale I thought I would give it a go, and I love it. It easily removes any make-up and cleanses the skin. Best cleasing water I’ve tried so far.
Rita (Danish TV series): I usually don’t watch a lot of TV; I watch films and TV series on DVD, but that’s pretty much it. I’m not a big fan of Danish films, but I do enjoy a lot of Danish TV series. The past month or so the third season of Rita has been on TV. It’s a comedy/drama series about a very outspoken school teacher who deals with everyone else’s problems but her own. She’s single and now that all of her children have left home, she’s having a hard time living alone. It’s a series that deals with a lot of serious and real issues, but is funny at the same time and overall enjoyable in my opinion.
Fog
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. If you find blue eye shadow a bit intimidating try a dusty, matte shade like the one I’m wearing in these pictures. I think it’s a nice way of wearing blue eye shadow.

Eyelid Primer in Sheer, eye shadows – MUA Ever After matte eye shadow palette (shades: Fade + Fog) + Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Collection (shade: Champagne Truffle) + MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade on browbone, mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – MUA Intense Colour eyeliner in Snow White. Lips: Revlon Colourburst Balm Stain in 045 Romantic)
Simply defined
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The eye make-up was a favourite of mine in March; it’s very simple, but still defines the eye. And the lipstick is just the perfect classic, matte red shade that glams up any look.

5 favourites – March
The first month of spring has come to an end, and right now I’m enjoying my Easter holiday with my family, so this post is pre-scheduled. March was mostly based around exams and choir concerts in my case, so it was quite a tough month, but it ended with a holiday which was just what I needed:) Anyways, here’s 5 favourites from the month of March.
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade: Oh dear, this highlighter is one of the most stunning things I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe it took me so long to decide to buy it. If you’re obsessed with highlighters like I am, and you don’t already have this one in your collection, you should go buy it immediately.
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge: I’ve previously had a make-up sponge as a favourite, but that one was not good compared to this Real Techniques one. I love using the flat side to apply my foundation and the tip to blend out concealer.
Rimmel Metal Rush nail polish in 100 Pearly Queen: This is the first time I’ve had a nail polish as one of my 5 favourites which is mainly due to the fact that I usually wear a different nail polish each week. But in the beginning of this month I wore this nail polish two weeks in a row, because I just love they way it looks on the nails.
Maleficent (film): I absolutely love Disney films, and I’d been wanting to watch Maleficent since it came out last year, but I didn’t get around to it until this month. It wasn’t at all how I’d imagined it; it was way better! I’ve never been a fan of Angelina Jolie, but I think she’s brilliant in this film, and so stunning.

Disney Piano Collection by Hirohashi Makiko: I believe one of the reasons why I love Disney films as much as I do is the amazing music in them. A couple of months back, I discovered these incredible piano versions of famous Disney songs which I’ve had playing in the background while studying for my exams. They’re just so relaxing and beautiful. There are several more of these types of videos on YouTube, but this one has been the one I’ve been listening to the most. Enjoy!
Braided instead of twisted
I tried out this new braided hairstyle about a month ago and I love it. It’s very similar to this hairstyle that I love to do, it’s just braided instead of twisted. It’s a really easy hairstyle to do, and if you don’t know how to French braid, you can always go with the twisted version.
Along the lower lash line
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. If you’re one of those girls who swear by neutral eye shadows, but want to experiment with colour, a great way of starting out is by applying a colour along your lower lash line. I used a dusty blue shade in this look which I think looks great paired with a soft, red lip.
(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – MUA Ever After matte eye shadow palette (shades: Fade + Fog) + Sleek Storm eye shadow palette (shade: Snow Storm) + Stila All Over Shimmer Duo highlighter (lightest shade on browbone), mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – Collection 2000 Kohl Eyeliner Precision Colour in 20 Kingfisher. Lips: Revlon Colourburst Balm Stain in 045 Romantic)
