Monolith spring sale haul (June 2024)

Monolith had a spring sale in June, and these are the products I picked up.

I have falling in love with the Fantasy Cosmetica eyeshadows. I kind of want them all, and I’m getting there. I picked up three palettes in this sale; the Sorcerer, the Bard, and the Fighter. They’re all stunning!

I’ve also been loving the Unearthly Cosmetics eyeshadows, and I love the themes and colour stories of their palettes. This is the Lore palette.

I love a spooky or Christmas themed palette, and the Spooked palette and the Silent Night palette from Gourmande Girls are so fun.

And speaking of Christmas themed, the Simply Posh Cosmetics Cozy Up cheek palette is so cute and Christmassy, and I really want the Cozy Cabin eyeshadow palette that launched in this collection as well.

I really enjoyed the Glamlite Betty Boop eyeshadow palette, so I decided to pick up the cute blush duo as well.

This is the only product I’ve bought from the Blend Bunny Cosmetics x Ellis Atlantis collection. It’s the Celestial Cheek Glaze, and I thought it would be fun to play around with as a highlighter or a blush topper.

Collective haul – clothes, shoes, accessories (June 2024)

My collective haul for June is quite large, so I decided to divide it into two parts. This first part includes clothes, shoes, and accessories.

I wore this colourful matching set in my last outfit post, and I think it’s so fun. The pieces are from a brand called Nümph, and I got them on sale.

The next five pieces are from Monki, and they were all on sale. I love a fitted roll neck top, and I think the lilac, red, and black is a cool colour combo.

As you might have noticed, pink and red is one of my favourite colour combos, and this stripy shirt is so cute.

I have this style of oversized blazer in so many colours and prints, and now I also have it in orange.

I also have this style of trouser in so many different colours and prints, and now I also have a pair in pink.

I wasn’t sure about these long, wide leg shorts when I ordered them, but I loved them, when I tried them on.

In my last Zalando haul, I featured the Jeffrey Campbell Akita lace up boots in black, but when Zalando had the white version on sale as well, I had to pick them up.

And speaking of Jeffrey Campbell, I also got these fun western style boots.

I featured this pair of Nike Cortez sneakers in my 5 September favourites post, and I’m still in love with them. It’s one of my favourite colourways that I own.

I love Maanesten jewellery, and this Lulu ring, which I got on sale, is so pretty.

I got three straw hats to show you. Maybe a bit excessive, I know, but I love a straw hat in the summer. The first one is from Topshop, and the other two are from a Danish brand/website called Black Colour. The rest of the items in this haul are also from Black Colour.

These are the hair accessories I got from the Black Colour website. I just love hair accessories.

These are the reason behind my Black Colour order. I’ve been wanting to add big flower brooches/pins to my wardrobe for so long, and I was so excited when I found these. The red and pink ones have been my favourites, but I like the champagne one with the pearls as well.

Lethal Cosmetics x Avatar: The Last Airbender collection

I was so excited about the Lethal Cosmetics x Avatar: The Last Airbender collection, when it launched back in the end of May, and it did not disappoint. It bought the entire collection and everything is so well done.

The collection included four 9-pan eyeshadow palettes; one for each of the four elements. I think all four colour stories are beautiful, however my two favourites have to be the Water and the Earth palettes. The quality is great on all four palettes though.

The collection also indluded four liquid liner sets; one for each of the main benders in the show (Aang, Katara, Toph, and Zuko). Each set comes with a matte liner and a multichrome liner, and even though I’m not big on liquid liners, I really like these.

Sokka, who’s also an important member of Team Avatar, and uncle Iroh are two of my favourite characters, so I was happy to see that they also got a product in the collection. Sokka got a beautiful glitter gel, and Iroh got the White Lotus highlighter. My White Lotus highlighter sadly arrived broken, so I tried to repress it. The collection also included the My Cabbages! sponge, which is super cute.

I’m also very happy about the fact that Azula, Ty-Lee, and Mai got their own lipsticks. The details on these lipsticks are stunning!

Lastly, the cutest item in this collection is without a doubt the Appa make-up bag. Appa is another one of my favourites, and this bag is so detailed. It has a little Momo on the zipper, and the lining has an Appa and Momo print on it. So adorable!

Big Lyko haul (May 2024)

I have a rather big Lyko haul to share with you today. Most of the products are from Essence and Catrice.

This is the Catrice Seeking Flowers collection. As you can see, I picked up a lot of products from this collection, and after trying most of the products, I have to say that it’s one of my favourite collections Catrice has done in a while. I picked up the hydrating lip mask (which is the only product I haven’t tried yet), the two blush & brush sticks in C01 Berrylicious and C02 S-peachless, the cream-to-powder highlighter in C01 Watch Me Bloom, and the three hydrating lip stains in C01 So Apricot!, C02 Fuchsia Fling, and C03 Bloomtastic.

These next four products are from the Catrice Wild Escape collection, which is an older collection, so I got all of these products on sale. I got the eyeshadow palette in C01 Life In Paradise, the glowy bronzer & highlighter in C01 Wild Side, the liquid blush in C01 Rare Adventure, and the high shine lipstick pen in C02 Purely Savage.

Here’s a couple of Essence palettes that I also bought on sale. It’s the Essence Golden Days Ahead eyeshadow palette in 01 Livin’ For Golden Drama and the Love, Luck & Dragons eyeshadow palette in 01 Follow The Dragon Sparks. I was especially impressed by the quality of the Love, Luck & Dragons palette.

The last two items I got on sale were the Catrice Who I Am double ended eye pencil in C01 I Am Art and the Catrice Magic Christmas Story nail lacquer in C02 Clara’s Adventures. I also picked up the Essence Got A Crush On Apricots freckles pen in 01 Après Apricots, which I’ve been really enjoying.

The last product I picked up which wasn’t on sale was the NYX Buttermelt bronzer in the shade 02 All Butta’d Up. I love this bronzer formula so much that I’ve bought another shade since.

And lastly, I got the Make Up Store #502 blush brush small as a free gift with purchase.

Zalando sale haul (May 2024)

I have a Zalando sale haul to share with you today. The haul includes a lot of shoes and a few make-up bits.

Yes, I’ve added yet another pair of Nike Cortez sneakers to my shoe collection. Nike has just released so many good colour ways of the Cortez sneakers this past year or so.

I bought my first pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes about a year ago, and I’ve since falling in love with the brand. These are the Akita lace up boots, and I can’t wait to wear them this upcoming autumn and winter.

Did I really need these white Jeffrey Campbell Litas with silver flames? Maybe not, but I think a small Jeffrey Campbell obsession is forming.

These shoes are from the brand Lamoda, which has a lot of fun shoes as well. I actually really like a platform flat (if you can call it that), and I love a pop of red in an outfit.

The Crocs obsession is well and thriving:) I got my first pair of Siren Crocs during Black Friday last year, and I’ve been on the look-out for more colours since. This bone colour is very neutral for what I usually wear, but because it’s such a statement shoe, I thought the light, neutral colour would work well with a lot of looks.

However, I also picked up this crazy, colourful Hello Kitty pair, because how could I not?! I love the glitter, the bows and the Hello Kitty jibbitz. They’re just so fun and cute.

And now we move on to the make-up bits. This is the MAC Teddy Takeover eye & face palette: Light. It’s from the Teddy inspired collection they did earlier in the year, and even though it’s a very neutral little palette, I wanted to try it out, since I haven’t tried a palette of this format from MAC before.

The last thing I picked up is the Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish pressed powder in Soft Porcelain, which I featured in my 5 favourites post for June, so as you can imagine I really enjoy this powder. The packaging is stunning as well.

Huge Monolith haul (May 2024)

I have a huge Monolith indie palette haul to share with you today. Some of the palettes were new on the website when I bought them and some of the palettes were on sale. Let’s begin with the non-sale palettes.

I’ve got three Bellabeautébar palettes to show you. This first one is the Secret Garden palette, and isn’t this colour story just stunning. I love pink and green together, so I had to have this palette. I’m wearing some of the pink shades on my eyes here.

The second Bellabeautébar palette I picked up is the Dead Roses palette, which was their Valentine’s Day (or anti Valentine’s Day) release this year. The colour story is so pretty as well.

I was probably the most excited about the Bellabeautébar x Deandranicoleee Ultra Violet palette for the obvious reason that it’s a monochromatic purple palette, and purple is my favourite colour. I mean, just look at this stunner!

The Ensley Reign Cosmetics Cold Moon palette sold out so quickly when it first came to Monolith, but I was lucky to get my hands on it this time around. It’s such a beautiful cool-toned palette.

I think the Groovy Garden palette is the most matte heavy palette Ensley Reign Cosmetics has done so far, and even though I prefer more shimmers than mattes, I just loved this retro, autumnal colour story so much, so I had to have it.

Glamlite releases a lot of palettes, and I don’t always love the colour stories or themes, but I was very intrigued by the Betty Boop palette. The packaging is adorable and I love a pink and red colour story.

Unearthly Cosmetics has quickly become one of my favourite indie eyeshadow brands, and I seem to love all the colour stories and themes of all of the palettes they release. The Fall Magic palette has been on my wishlist for a while, so this time around I decided to finally pick it up. It really is a stunning palette.

The rest of the palettes in this haul were on sale. As I just mentioned, I seem to like all Unearthly Cosmetics palettes, and I felt like these two older palettes were missing from my collection. It’s the Fairy Frolic palette and the Sleepover palette.

I love that the Adept Cosmetics palettes are shimmer heavy. I thought about buying the Cyborg Choir palette, when it launched, but I didn’t. Now I’m glad I didn’t, because I was able to get it on sale instead and save some money.

This is the pastel palette I wore in my latest make-up post. It’s the Glaminatrix Pretty In Pastels palette, and I’m also glad I waited for this one to go on sale before purchasing it.

This is my first palette from Artittude Cosmetics. It’s the Phoenix palette, and I thought the colour story was pretty unique.

The last two palettes are from Ace Beauté. It’s the Envy palette and the Begonia palette. I’ve worn both and they’re not my favourite palettes. They crease quite a bit on me. The colour stories are pretty though.

5 favourites – August

I can’t believe that it’ll be autumn by tomorrow – calender wise that is. We are having very nice summery weather in Denmark these days, so it doesn’t fell like autumn yet. However, I’m slowy beginning to get into a spooky season and Christmas season mood. August was another month of ups and downs on a personal level, but doing my make-up and getting ready in the morning in general is therapeutic to me, so all of my favourites this month are make-up or beauty related.

Makeup By Mario SoftSculpt serum bronzer (shade: Fair): I featured the Makeup By Mario SoftSculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer in my September 5 favourites post last year, and almost a year later I’m going to feature another Makeup By Mario SoftSculpt procuct. This is the liquid serum version, and it’s so so nice. The shade Fair is really fair, but it blends so easily and seamlessly, and it’s buildable. I’m just really enjoying this product.

NYX Buttermelt bronzers and blushes: I’m cheating a bit by grouping two products together here, but they’re the same line/formula, so I guess it works out. I’d heard such good things about the NYX Buttermelt bronzers and blushes, and they really are incredible. I want more shades of the blushes so bad.

Rimmel Kind & Free mascara (shade: 002 Brown Black): My biggest problem with mascaras is that most mascaras transfer and smudge on me, but this one from the Kind & Free line from Rimmel doesn’t. It’s not the most volumising mascara in the world, but it looks really nice on my lashes, and I love the brown black colour of it.

Huda Beauty Yo Glow Gingerbread Latte Enzyme Scrub: Here’s a skincare product I’ve been using for a while now that I’ve really enjoyed, so I thought it was time to feature it in a 5 favourites post. I try to use it a couple of times a week, and my skin always feels great after using this scrub. The scent was limited edition, but I love everything Christmassy.

KAYALI Eden Sparkling Lychee I 39 Eau De Parfum: I’d been wanting this scent ever since it launched, but it sold out quite quickly on Sephora’s website, so when it recently came back in stock, I purchased it right away. The KAYALI Eden Juicy Apple is one of my absolute favourite scents, so I had a feeling that I would love the Eden Sparkling Lychee as well, and I was so right; it smells delicious.

Collective haul (May 2024)

I have a collective haul to share with you today. It includes beauty, accessories, one piece of clothing, and one pair of shoes. Let’s begin with the beauty stuff.

I’m a huge Kayali fan, so I’m always excited when they launch a new scent. This is the Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar I 42 Eau de Parfum, and I always get the 10 ml bottle, because I wear my perfumes lightly. I love the Vanilla I 28 scent from Kayali, so I was excited about this one, but I have to say that I was a little disappointed, when I smelled it. It smells more floral than I thought and less sweet and candy like.

I featured the Sol de Janeiro Carioca Crush perfume mist in my July favourites post, and it’s a lovely, fruity scent.

And speaking of Sol de Janeiro, I really wanted the Cheriosa ’62 Eau de Parfum (50 ml), because I love the 62 perfume mist/body spray, and I got it in a set with the Brazilian Bum Bum cream (25 ml) for a really good prize. At the same website I also picked up the Buxom Serial Kisser plumping lip stain in Beso, which is a red shade.

Moving on to some more make-up. I featured the L’Oréal Glotion natural glow enhancer in 901 Fair Glow in my June favourites post, and I still love this product.

I love a glowy blush and the Maybelline Sunkisser blushes are really nice, so I picked up some more shades: 02 Uptown Glow, 08 Shades On, and 12 Summer In The City.

Another Maybelline product I really enjoy are the Superstay Vinyl Ink liquid lipsticks, and just look at these beautiful shades; 150 Striking, 155 Upbeat, and 170 Unafraid.

The Dior Forever Glow Maximizers are so beautiful, so I got another shade called 014 Rosy, which is a stunning blush on my skin tone.

I remember the Collection brand from when I briefly lived in England 10 years ago, and the Danish drugstore now carries the line, so I decided to try out the brand again.

This is the Collection cream bronzer in Shade 1 Bronze (the only shade). It’s a bit orangy.

This is the Collection Diamond Shine highlighter in Shine Bright 1, which looks like a dupe for the Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb All Over Diamond Veil, but this one is dryer.

Some more products inspired by Fenty Beauty; it’s the Collection Gorgeous Glow sticks in Blush 1 and Highlight 2.

Collection is also inspired by Charlotte Tilbury. This is the Collection Filter Finish liquid blush light wand in 2 Peach Pleasure, and it’s actually quite pretty.

The Collection mini eyeshadow palette in Explorer Solar Voyage 3 and the Collection hydrating lipstick in Sweet Rose 28 are nothing special.

And now jewellery. This is a pair of beautiful earrings from Maanesten. They’re called Notus, and I’ve worn them quite a bit.

Here’s a bunch of cute jewellery pieces I got 15% off from H&M.

Did I buy another bow hair clip? Yes I did.

Is this my first straw hat? No, it’s not, but I didn’t have one with a tie. It’s also from H&M.

I already have this style of dress from H&M in blue, but it’s just such a good dress for hot summer days, so I got one in pink as well.

And lastly, a pair of Nike Cortex sneakers with my name written all over them. How could I not buy a pair of pink and red Nike Cortez!

Colourpop haul – Beauty and The Beast + more (April 2024)

I have a Colourpop haul to share with you today. This haul includes the Beauty and The Beast collection, some sale items and more.

I’m pretty sure this is the entire Beauty and The Beast collection, which includes an eyeshadow palette, a Super Shock highlighter, two pressed powder blushes, two lip kits, and a lip mask.

This is what the eyeshadow palette looks like. I think this is a very pretty palette that captures the film and the characters of Belle and the Beast very well. I wore it here together with some of the other products from the collection.

The two pressed powder blushes come in the shades Ms. Potts and Chip, and both shades are lovely.

The Super Shock highlighter is in the shade Special Guest. I don’t particularly like this huge packaging, but I love the Super Shock highlighter formula.

These are the two Lux lipstick kits in Great Adventure (Belle’s kit) and Break the Spell (Beast’s kit). The Great Adventure kit comes with the Not So Odd Lux lipstick and the Bookworm Ultra Glossy lip, and the Break the Spell kit comes with the Last Petal Lux lipstick and the Kind & Gentle Ultra Glossy lip. I really like both of these lip kits.

And of course the collection had to include a cute, on theme lip mask, and this one is called the Enchanted Rose lip mask.

And sticking with the Disney Princess theme I picked up the Disney Designer collection It’s A Princess Thing palette on sale.

The only other palette I got (which wasn’t on sale) is the So Elemental palette, which is a beautiful cool-toned blue palette.

I don’t know anything about Naruto, but I love the Super Shock shadows, and I thought this Ninja Academy Super Shock shadow set looked really cute. It comes with the three shades (from left to right) Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha.

I also picked up a couple more Super Shock shadows. These are in the shades Flower Child and For Real.

Speaking of Super Shock, I also love the Super Shock blushes, so I picked up these three shades called (from left to right) Growth Flirt, Drop of a Hat, and Bardot.

I hadn’t tried this more glowy version of the pressed powder blushes, so I purchased these two shades called Morning Vibes and Dancing Queen.

Lastly, I wanted to try the So Juicy plumping gloss balms and picked up the She’s So Juicy set, which includes the shades (from left to right) Guava Glaze, Dolled Up, and Berry Spritz. So far I like these.

Purish haul (April 2024)

I have a beauty haul to share with you today. I purchased these products from the German site Purish.

The Lunar Beauty Moonshroom collection is one of the main reasons I made this order. I think this palette is so stunning. I’m wearing it on my eyes here.

I also got the Moonshroom highlighter palette, which is such a stunner as well.

This is the Lethal Cosmetics Mellow Grove palette, which is another palette I had my eye on. I really enjoyed the Lethal Cosmetics Midnight Serenade palette, so I was hoping that this palette would have the same great quality.

From Lethal Cosmetics I also picked up the Magnetic face powder in Pansy and two of the Haze plush lip creams in the shades Leeward and Hydra. I really like the glowy blushes from Lethal Cosmetics, and this Pansy shade is so fun. I haven’t tried the Haze plush lip creams yet.

Lastly, I got the Danessa Myricks Beauty Blurring Buddies holiday kit, which includes a mini of the Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder in Universal and the Blurring Balm Powder Flushed in the shade It Girl. I already own a full size of the Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder in Universal, which I love, and I’ve got another shade of the Blurring Balm Powder Flushed blushes, so I knew that they were good. They’re some of the most long lasting cream blushes I’ve tried.
