Essence and Catrice Disney Classics collections

Today I have an Essence and Catrice Disney Classics collections haul to share with you. The sister brands each did three eyeshadow palettes plus a bunch of other products inspired by classic Disney animal characters, and obviously I had to pick up a bunch of stuff from the collections. Let’s begin with Essence.

Essence released three Disney Classics Silky Eyeshadow Palettes; Bambi 01 Friends Til the End, Dumbo 02 Make A Splash, and Patch 03 Dognapped!. My favourite so far is the Bambi one, which contains some really pretty green shades. I was pretty disappointed in the Dumbo one, but I used a few shades from Patch one today, and I quite liked those.

The other three products I picked up from the Essence collection are the Disney Classics Maxi Blush Highlighters in Bambi 01 Nature, Dumbo 02 Peanuts, and Patch 03 Thunderbolt. Once again the Bambi one is my favourite so far, but I haven’t tried the Patch one yet. Let’s move on to Catrice.

Catrice also had three palettes. These are called the Disney Classics Multi-Effect Eyeshadow Palettes, and they came in Marie 010 Je Suis Marie, Lady 020 True Love, and Miss Bunny 030 Flirtatious. My favourite so far is the Miss Bunny one, but I did quite like the Lady one as well.

I also picked up the Catrice Disney Classics Maxi Matt Face & Body Bronzers. There were only two of these in the collection; Marie 010 Ladylike and Lady 020 Be Brave. How adorable is the packaging!

The last two products I purchased from the Catrice collection were the Disney Classics Marie Satin Coconut Lipstick in 010 Pink Bow, and the Catrice Disney Classics Lady Satin Coconut Lipstick in 020 Romance. This is actually such a nice creamy lipstick formula, and they have nice pigmentation too. I’m not a fan of coconut scents, but thankfully the scent on these lipsticks is not overpowering.

All in all, I like this Disney Classics collab collection from Essence and Catrice better than their Disney Princess collab collection.

Collective haul (April)

It’s finally time for my collective haul from April. This haul consists of one clothing item and then the rest is accessories and make-up.

The one clothing item in this haul is this cute floral dress from H&M. I loved these kinds of smock dresses when I was younger, so I got a bit nostalgic when I saw this one and decided to pick it up.

Then I purchased some things from Asos. The two headbands are both by Asos Design, and the earrings are from Madein.

The two most exciting things I purchased from Asos though are the e.l.f. Cosmetics Halo Glow setting powder and the e.l.f Cosmetics Blemish Fighting Putty primer. I’d been wanting to try both of these products for a while, and as it turns out, I love both products.

The last products in this haul are all purchased from Beauty Bay. I was really intrigued by the Midnight and the Earthy palettes when they launched, so in April I purchased both 42 colour palettes as a set/duo at a really good price. I’m especially fond of the Midnight palette, as you might have noticed from recent make-up looks.

I also purchased the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beauty Killer 2 palette on sale. I actually like this colour story more than I thought I would.

I also purchased another Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Liner. This one is in the shade Warm Taupe, and it’s such a great shade.

MAC Magnificent Moon collection

Today’s haul is a small one. I purchased three products from the MAC Magnificent Moon collection when it released, and I thought I would share them with you.

The Extra Dimension Skinfinish x4: Surrounded by Stars palette is the star of the collection in my opinion. It comes with four shades; one hightlight shade and three blushes – at least on my skintone. The shades are Oh Darling!, Hushed Tone, Surrounded By Stars, and Hard To Get. I think the packaging of this collection is really pretty, but just look at the actually product; so detailed and so stunning!

The other two products I picked up from the collection are a lipstick in the shade Skies Above and a lip pencil in the shade Spice. Skies Above is a limited edition shade, but Spice is a permanent shade in the lip pencil range that I didn’t already own. I’m wearing all three products here.

Collective haul (March)

I have a collective haul to share with you today. This haul consists of both clothes and make-up and all items were purchased in March.

I’ve already talked about this blue retro floral matching set from Monki, so I won’t say anything other than I love it, and that it’s one of my favourite clothing purchases this year so far.

You’ve already seen me wear all three of these Monki dresses. I purchased the floral wrap dress and the red checkered dress on sale. All of these dresses are great for a small to medium baby bump:)

You’ve also seen me wear this lilac dress a couple of times. It’s from my local supermarket brand VRS, and it is also a great dress to wear with a growing bump.

These last two clothing pieces are from Zara. I just fell in love with the Winnie The Pooh sweater vest; I just love the colours and the fun details. And you know I love dinosaurs, so I thought the stripy T-shirt was cute.

Let’s move on to make-up. First off, I purchased four products from Essence and one from e.l.f. Cosmetics from Cocopanda. I got the Essence Welcome to Miami eyeshadow palette, the Essence Hello Good Stuff Happy Bliss face spray, the Essence Juicy Bomb shiny lipglosses in 09 Fresh Banana and 10 Sweet Mint, and the e.l.f. Cosmetics Putty blush in Turks and Caicos.

Here’s a closer look at the palette and the blush. I love the e.l.f. Cosmetics Putty blushes, and Turks and Caicos is such a pretty shade. However, I was not super impressed by the Essence Welcome to Miami eyeshadow palette. The look I created with it was pretty enough, but it’s not the easiest palette to work with, so I’ve actually already decluttered it from my collection.

Here are three other random make-up items that I picked up in March. I purchased the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Liner in Sandstone, and I love it. The shade is beautiful, and the formula is great. I also picked up the e.l.f. Cosmetics Flawless Brightening concealer in Fair 10 C, which has been a go-to undereye concealer of mine for the past couple of months. And then I got the NYX Thick It. Stick It! brow mascara in Taupe. Lots of people love this product, but I’m not sure about it. I think it might be too pigmented for my liking, but maybe I just have to play around with it a bit more.

And last, but most certainly not least, I purchased the Natasha Denona Pastel palette back in March. I’ve posted many looks with this palette, and I’ve featured it in a previous 5 favourites post, so it’s easy to tell that I love this palette. It’s one of my favourite and most used Natasha Denona palettes.

MAC Wild Cherry collection

For the past three or four years MAC has released a cherry blossom inspired spring collection, and this year’s collection is called Wild Cherry. As you can see, I picked up quite a few items from the collection: I bought the Fix+ in the cherry blossom scent (which is my favourite Fix+ scent), the Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Petallic Metallic, the Glow Play blush in Peaches ‘N’ Dreams, the Love Me lipstick in Sakura Szn, and the Pre + Prime Lip.

Here’s the inside of the Extra Dimension Skinfinish. It’s so pretty, right?! The shade is a shifty gold to pink, which is very pretty, however, I don’t find the formula to be as good as some other Extra Dimension Skinfinishes. This one is a little less pigmented and smooth.

The MAC Glow Play blushes are some of my favourites, and this is the first time they’ve been released in limited edition shades and packaging. This shade is quite similar to the shade Groovy from the permanent line, though a little lighter.

This collection only included Love Me lipsticks, which is a creamy formula. I picked up the more nude shade in the collection, and it’s a very pretty shade (I’m wearing it here and here).

I also got some free gifts with this purchase which I thought I would include in this haul as well. I got two brushes, which is always nice, because MAC brushes are not cheap. These are the 133S Small Cheek brush and the 275S Medium Angled Shading brush.

For once I also wanted to include the free samples I got with this order, because I got a couple of interesting ones. I’ve been wanting to try both the Studio Fix Mattifine 12HR Shine-Control primer and the M·A·CStack mascara. I’ve already used up the mascara, and I loved it. I also received a Lightful C3 Radiant Hydration Skin Renewal Lotion and another Strobe Cream sample in Pinklite.

MAC 70% off sale haul

I have a MAC haul to share with you today, and I got all of these products 70% off, which is pretty insane if you ask me.

I know that buying five blushes at once might be a bit crazy, but as I mentioned I got them 70% off, and I’ve always been curious to try more MAC Mineralize blushes. I picked up the shades (from top left corner til bottom right corner) Humour Me, Naturally Flawless, Flirting With Danger, Happy-Go-Rosy, and Bubbles, Please. The only shade I haven’t used yet is Flirting With Danger, which seems like more of an autumn/winter shade, but I’ve enjoyed using the other four shades.

I also picked up a lipstick, two Patent Paint lip lacquers, and two pigments.

The lipstick is in the shade Spanish Fly, and it’s a blue brown frosty lipstick, which I’ve actually been eyeing for a little while. It’s such a fun shade.

I’d never tried the Patent Paint lip lacquers before, so I thought I would give them a go. The orange shade is called Painted Desert, and the red shade is called Slick Flick. I wore Painted Desert here, and I thought it was really pretty.

The two pigments I purchased are Vanilla and Old Gold. They’re both stunning pigments.

Small Zalando haul (February 2022)

I have a small Zalando haul to share with you today. These are items I purchased back in February.

These are the only clothing items in this small haul. I love the tights from the brand Calzedonia, and I didn’t have any black pairs yet, so I purchased two.

And these are the rest of the items I got; all make-up. From MAC I picked up two more Glow Play blushes and a Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powder. All three products were on sale. I also bought the NYX Plump Right Back serum & primer.

Here’s a closer look at the two MAC Glow Play blushes. They’re in the shades Groovy and No Shame!, and they’re more vibrant than any of the other Glow Play blush shades that I own, but they’re both really pretty on the skin.

And I’ve been wanting to try the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powder for years and finally picked it up. I got the shade Light Plus. I haven’t used it that much yet, but I like the texture of the powder.

Small Feelunique haul (mainly sale)

I have a small Feelunique haul to share with you today. Every product is from either Huda Beauty, Wishful, or KAYALI apart from one item, and all products apart from that last one were on sale.

Let’s begin with this Valentine’s Day kit from KAYALI and Huda Beauty. I love my KAYALI Eau de Parfum Rollerball in MUSK | 12 & VANILLA | 28, they’re two of my favourite fragrances, and I’ve been wanted to try the KAYALI Eden Juicy Apple | 01 Eau de Parfum as well. This kit comes with a 10 ml bottle, and it also comes with a Huda Beauty liquid matte liquid lipstick in Lover. The scent is more fruity than the other two KAYALI scents, but still really nice. The lipstick is really pretty too; it’s a nice pinky red shade.

I also purchased the KAYALI Get Rich kit, which includes a 30 ml VANILLA | 28 hand cream and a 10 ml Invite Only Amber | 23 Eau de Parfum. The Invite Only Amber scent is a slightly deeper scent.

I also got a back up of the Wishful Honey Whip peptide face moisturizer, which has become my favourite moisturizer. I use this every morning, and it’s quite pricey, so I’ll definitely try to get it on sale, when I can.

The last item I picked up, which was not on sale, but it’s so affordable anyways, was the Essence Disney Princess Rapunzel eyeshadow brush. I’d already purchased the other brushes from this collection, so I thought I would get the last one as well.

Collective Sephora haul (January 2022)

I have a rather large collective Sephora haul to share with you today. This haul is a mix of Valentine’s Day releases, my first Rare Beauty products, and sale items.

Let’s begin with the Valentine’s Day products. This is the Pat McGrath Love & Lust: Gloss Duo. To be honest, I think I purchased this gloss duo exclusively for the cute packaging, because I haven’t worn any of them yet.

I also purchased the Valentine’s exclusive set from Natasha Denona which was the limited edition Mini Crush palette and eyeshadow brush. I’ve expressed my love for Natasha Denona eyeshadow palettes many times before, so of course I had to add this mini to my collection. I wore this palette here.

I also purchased two more products from Natasha Denona. I got the Mini Biba palette and the I Need A Nude lipstick in Charlotte 15% off. Both of these products are so nice.

Here’s a random group of products which I got on sale. I picked up a full size of the Wishful Honey Whip peptide face moisturizer, which I love and use every day. I also picked up another Pat McGrath Skin Fetish: Divine blush, a Milk Makeup matte bronzer travel size stick bronzer, and a Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush matte lipstick.

This is the Pat McGrath blush, and it’s in the shade Cherish. It’s so beautiful!

I’ve heard a lot about this Milk Makeup stick bronzer, so I decided to get the travel size in the shade Baked. It’s super pigmented, so a little goes a loooong way.

The Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush matte lipstick is in the shade Pumpkin Rose, and I’d thought about getting this shade a long time ago, so I decided to finally get it now that it was on sale. It’s such a pretty yellow based orange.

These are my Rare Beauty purchases. I decided to pick up a Soft Pinch Matte liquid blush in the shade Grace and a Soft Pinch Dewy liquid blush in Grateful. They’re super pigmented and I haven’t quite figured out the best way to apply them yet. I also picked up the Positive Light liquid highlighter in Enchant, which is a pretty pink shade.

I’d been wanted to try the Rms Beauty Living Luminizer for quite some time, but it’s really expensive, so when I found it as a part of the Sephora Favourites GOOD FOR Selection, which was on sale and cheaper than the one cream highlighter, I was very excited. I’ve already featured the Living Luminizer in a 5 favourites, and I’m still obsessed with it. The set also included a mini Milk Makeup Hydro Grip primer, which I’d also been wanted to try, the Ren Clean Skincare Mattifying mineral face sunscreen, the Pai Skincare The Impossible Glow bronzing drops, the Sephora Collection Beautiful Lash mascara, and the Sephora Collection Waterproof eye pencil in 01 Fresh Licorice.

Lastly, I got free gift as well. It includes a Sephora shimmery seethrough make-up bag and two mini mascaras; a Sephora Big By Definition mascara and a Pat McGrath Dark Star mascara in Xtreme Black.

Collective haul – clothes + beauty (January)

I have quite the large collective haul to share with you today. These are clothing and beauty items that I purchased throughout January. Let’s begin with the clothes.

You know how much I love Christmas and Christmas jumpers, so I always look out for them when the January sales begin. This cardigan is from PULL&BEAR, and I didn’t already have a Christmas cardigan, so I had to add this to my ever growing Christmas jumper collection.

I might as well talk about both of these next pieces at the same time considered they have the exact same print. They’re from Monki, and I love the retro floral print and the pastel colours. I’ve already posted a look wearing these two items.

I’m really glad that I discovered these tights from the brand Calzedonia. I picked up a purple pair, another navy pair (because I wear navy tights very often), a dark brown pair, and an off-white pair. I just really like the thickness and texture of these tights.

Let’s move on to make-up and skin care then. I’ve been sort of collecting these I Heart Revolution x Disney Fairytale palettes, so I had to add the Mulan one to my collection. The eyeshadows are usually okay, though not my favourites, but the cheek products are quite nice.

I was quite intrigued by these Milani Cheek Kiss blush palettes. I picked up both the powder and the cream version, and so far I really like them. Especially the cream palette.

I talked about how much I’ve been enjoying Essie nail lacquers in a recent haul, and I also picked up this stunning pink shade with a gold shift called #680 One Way For One. I also finally got my hands on the e.l.f. Cosmetics Putty bronzer in Tan Lines, and it quickly became one of my favourite cream bronzers.

And speaking of e.l.f. Cosmetics Putty products, I also picked up another one of their Putty blushes. This bright pink shade is called Bora Bora. I also got a Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Blush in the shade Natural Glow, and then I picked up the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion for spot treatment.

The other two skin care products I got was a full size of the Clinique All About Eyes, which I love and use everyday. The Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser was a free gift with purchase. From Revolution I picked up the Eye Bright Illuminating Under Eye Concealer in Porcelain. And then I purchased the following two products from the Essence Catching Clouds collection.

I got the Essence Catching Clouds Cloud-touch Mousse Primer in 01 Up On Cloud and the Essence Catching Clouds Cloud-touch Highlighter in 01 Daily Dose Of Dreamy Clouds. I’m not quite sure how I feel about the highlighter, but I really enjoy the primer.

And last, but certainly not least, I purchased three more of the Clinique Cheek Pop Pearl blushes. These blushes are just so stunning; if you love a glowy blush, you have to try these out. I picked up the shades 03 Coral Pop, 04 Rose Quartz Pop, and 06 Garnet Pop, and I love them all.
