I have a Cocopanda haul to share with you today. I made this order when they had their 10 year birthday sale, where a lot of products were 20% off.
Let’s begin with skin care and base make-up. I picked up the Essence Hello, Good Stuff! Pore Minimizing Serum, a back-up of the L’Oréal Paris True Match Nude plumping tinted serum in the shade 0,5-2 Very Light, which is one of my favourite foundations, and I also picked up a back-up of the Clinique All About Eyes, which is my go-to eye cream.
I had to get some more of the NYX Ultimate Glow Shots liquid eyeshadows. I purchased the shades 06 Golden Goji, 11 Clementine Fine, and 2 Raspberry Rave.
For lips I purchased the Essence Holo Bomb Shiny lipgloss in 01 Iced Gloss, the NYX This Is Milky Gloss in Cherry Milk Shake, and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Satin Lipstick in Butterscotch.
I also picked up theMAC Kiss It Twice Powder Kiss Liquid Duo: Best Sellers. It comes with the two shades Mull It Over and Fashion, Sweetie. I love this liquid lipstick formula.
I have a collective Sephora haul to share with you today. As far as I remember I made two Sephora orders in September, and I thought I would put them together in this one haul, so let’s get into it.
I had to get the newest Natasha Denona palette; the My Dream palette. I love that it has a mix of neutrals and berries, and I love the duochrome shade called Vision.
I also purchased the Natasha Denona My Dream Cheek Trio, and it’s such a pretty and wearable little cheek palette that goes with most make-up looks.
I also got some lip products and another eyeshadow palette.
I’d heard a couple of beauty youtubers that I follow talk about the Tarte Tartelette Jewel Amazonian Clay palette, and I thought it looked like a very nice mini palette perfect for travelling or for just doing a quick and easy neutral look.
I picked up another Rare Beauty Kind Words matte lipstick and lip liner. The lipstick is in the shade Strong and the lip liner is in the shade Bold. I really want the Bold lipstick as well, but it’s always sold out.
I found this Pat McGrath Labs Lip Fetish Divinyl lip shine 40% off and thought I would give it a try. It’s in the shade Electric Lotus, and it’s super pretty on the lips.
With my second order I got this Make Up My Story Box as a free gift with purchase. It contains 8 minis and 1 full size product the full size product being the Sephora Collection Cream lip stain in 01 Always Red. It also included a NARS Velvet Matte lip pencil in Cruella, a Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow, a Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme, a Nudestix Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm in Posh, a Natasha Denona eyeshadow in Outer Eye Lid (from the Glam palette), a Make Up For Ever Aquaresist Graphic Pen in 1 Black, a Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes mascara, and an Anastasia Beverly Hills clear brow gel.
It’s time for a collective haul from last month. This haul is a bit of a mix of everything.
I love a roll neck top, so I had to pick up a couple of bump friendly ones. The blue one is from Pieces Maternity, and the purple one is from Vero Moda Maternity. I prefer the fit and look of the blue one, but I love the colours of both.
I’m impatiently waiting for my baby to arrive, and when it does, I really hope that I’ll be able to breastfeed it. So I need some nursing friendly clothes and picked up this two pack of nursing tops from Anna Field MAMA. They’re not my usually style of top, but I have to dress a little more practical, when the baby comes.
These navy joggers are also from Anna Field MAMA, and they’re so comfortable. They’re ready and packed in my hospital bag.
This pair of stretchy navy flared leggings from H&M MAMA has been a favourite of mine lately. They’re super comfy as well.
The last maternity clothes I’ve bought is a two pack of black tights from H&M MAMA. They became kind of necessary when the weather got colder.
I purchased these pink, fluffy slippers from Monki purely to add to my hospital bag, so I would have something cosy to wear on my feet. And that’s enough maternity and hospital talk for now. Let’s move on to make-up.
I haven’t really heard anything about the Maybelline Green Edition Balmy Lip Blush lipsticks, but I was still interested in trying them. I picked up the shades Bonfire and Dusk, a red and a rosy pink, but because I’ve purchased so many new lip products recently, I haven’t gotten around to wearing them yet.
And speaking of lip products, I picked up these two from MAC. I love the packaging of the new MAC Maker lipsticks, so I purchased the @MANUELEMAMELI one, which is a very pretty matte nude shade. I also picked up the yellow lipglass from the MAC X Stranger Things collection. It’s called Marvelous Max, and I thought it would be great to make a lip colour warmer.
I got this Prepped & Ready Lip Prep Kit as a free gift with purchase. It includes a Lipglass Clear, a Lip Scrubtious in Sweet Vanilla, and a Prep + Prime Lip. I didn’t own the Lipglass Clear, but I know a lot of people love it. I have another scent of the Lip Scrubtious, so I know I love that product, and I love everything vanilla scented. And I use Prep + Prime Lip everytime I do my make-up, so it’s nice to have another back-up.
Lastly, and a bit randomly, I got the Glisten Cosmetics Chroma Flakes in Nebula. It’s a stunning iridescent purple glitter, and as you know, I’m really into these kinds of products these days.
We don’t see a lot of make-up collections from Jeffree Star Cosmetics these days, so when he launched his Star Wedding collection I was intrigued, even though it’s a very neutral collection colourwise.
I had to get the Star Wedding palette. Mine sadly came broken; the shade Cut The Cake (the second shade in the first row) was shattered, and it was all over the palette, but I managed to save at lot of the shade and sort of clean up the palette. Even though this is a neutrals heavy palette, I really like the different tones of neutrals mixed with pops of berry and grey. I created this berry look and this neutral look with this palette.
Jeffree Star Cosmetics also launched a brand new product with this collection; the Liquid Star Shadows. I picked up two shades; Toss My Bouquet and Behind The Veil. Toss My Bouquet is a matte dusty rose shade and Behind The Veil is described as a glittery white with iridescent/multi coloured pearl. I’m wearing both of these on my eyes today, and they were very easy to work with. The glittery shade pulls quite green though, but it’s very pretty and reflective.
I hadn’t gotten a new shade of the Velour liquid lipsticks in what seems like forever, so I picked up one of the shades from this collection. It’s called Down The Aisle and it’s described as a rust brown nude.
The last product I picked up from the collection was the Wedding Proof Makeup Setting Spray. I haven’t tried it yet, because I’m trying to use up the setting sprays I’ve got open right now, but I love trying out new setting sprays.
For my birthday in August, I got a 20% off birthday code from Feelunique, so I decided to take advantage of that and pick up a couple of products, I’d been wanting to try.
I picked up three powders. A bit excessive, I know, but I just love powders. I purchased the Sigma Beauty Soft Focus setting powder in Vanilla Bean, the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Tone Up in Rose, and the e.l.f. Cosmetics Prime & Stay finishing powder in Fair/Light. So far my favourite is definitely the Laura Mercier powder: it’s been one of my go-to undereye setting powders lately.
I’ve been wanting to try the Urban Decay Stay Naked Hydromaniac Tinted Glow Hydrator for so long, so I finally picked it up. I got the shade 20 Fair Neutral, which is a really nice shade on me, and so far I like this product. In my most recent 5 favourites post, I featured the Sigma Beauty Spectrum Color-Correcting Duo in Light to Medium, so I obviously love that product. Another product I’ve also been enjoying is the NARS Bronzing Cream in LAGUNA 1; it’s such a nice cream bronzer. And the last item I decided to get was the Wishful Yo Glow Gingerbread Latte Enzyme Scrub. I’d been wanting to get it since last Christmas, and I’m really excited to finally give it try.
It’s been a while since I last made a Sephora order, but there was a few products I wanted to try, and then I also picked up a few outlet items.
The main reason why I made this order was because I wanted to try out some more Rare Beauty products. More specifically, I wanted to try the Warm Wishes Effortless bronzer and the new Kind Words matte lipstick and lip liner. I also got a free sample of the Always An Optimist pore diffusing primer.
The Warm Wishes Effortless bronzer is apparently very popular and it had been out of stock for a while, so when it was back in stock, I picked it up in the shade Power Boost, which is the lightest shade. So far I really do like this bronzer. The stick is very easy to use, and it blends out beautifully.
I love that the Kind Words matte lipsticks and lip liners come in matching shades. I picked up both in the shade Talented, which is such a pretty brown nude. I’m wearing both here. I like the packaging too.
The last three products I purchased was from the outlet section. I picked up the Natasha Denona I Need A Nude lipstick in 10NB Andrea, which is a very pretty nude shade. I also picked up the Fenty Beauty Slip Shine sheer shiny lipstick in Vamps Who Brunch, which is a fun deep shimmery purple. An lastly, I got the Too Faced Killer Liner gel eyeliner in Killer Turquoise, because I wanted to try out the formula, and I do really like it.
This is an Asos haul from August. I got everything either 20% off or 25% off. It’s a mix of everything; clothes, shoes, accessories, and make-up.
I only have two clothing pieces to show you, and you’ve already seen me wear them in outfit posts. Both of these beautiful dresses are from COLLUSION.
I also purchased two pairs of shoes both from Asos Design. I’m really excited about the floral loafers; I think they’re so cute and perfect for autumn. The mule wedges are more summery, but I just loved the colours.
Let’s move on to accessories. I love a bucket hat, however I haven’t really worn them this past summer. I still thought this multicoloured one from Asos Design was cute. The sunglasses are also from Asos Design and so are three out of the four pairs of earrings as well. The last pair of earrings are from Vintage Supply. I just love fun sunglasses and earrings.
And now on to make-up. I haven’t heard or seen anything about the Rimmel Lasting Finish compact foundation, but I thought I would give it a try. I picked mine up in the shade 01 Fair Porcelain, and so far I really like this product. I also decided to get the I Heart Revolution x Disney Fairytale Jelly Eye Shimmer in Pua (from Moana) to try another formula of eyeshadow, however, I haven’t worn it on my eyes yet.
These last make-up products are probably the most interesting to me. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m really excited to try the MAC Fix+ Stay Over setting spray. I picked up the mini size. I’ve also been wanting to try the new MAC Powder Kiss Velvet Blur Slim Sticks and picked up the shade Devoted To Danger. I’m wearing it in my next make-up post, and I loved it. In my 5 favourites post that I posted yesterday, I featured the Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer, so you now how much I enjoy that product. And lastly, I picked up a couple more shades of the e.l.f. Cosmetics No Budge shadow sticks. They’re called Rich Amethyst and Copper Chic.
I can’t believe that it’s already October by tomorrow! I spent almost all of September at home on maternity leave, and before October is over, I’ll have a baby! That obviously means that I most likely won’t be blogging consistently for a while, however, it is my intention to continue blogging, but you never know how much and in which ways your life is going to change, when you have a baby. All I know is that my life sure will change, but I’m so excited to meet the little human I’ve been growing inside my body for almost 9 months now. Until the baby decides to see the world on the outside, I’ll continue to blog, and since it’s the last day of the month, it’s time for my 5 favourites from September.
Sigma Beauty Spectrum Color-Correcting Duo in Light to Medium: I haven’t hauled these first three favourites yet, but I’ve been enjoying them so much that I had to feature them in this post. First up, we have a colour corrector, which is not something I’ve been using in the past, but I’ve not been sleeping well during my third trimester, and I think that shows on my undereye area. This little duo from Sigma Beauty is so good at covering up those dark circles; I can either use it underneath concealer or on it’s own, and I can even use both shades, which I wasn’t sure about, when I bought it.
Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer (shade: 1.3G Marshmellow): And speaking of undereyes and concealing, I instantly fell in love with the new Huda Beauty concealer. I don’t buy a lot of high end concealers, but for some reason I was intrigued by this one, and I’m so glad I decided to get it, because it is so good! I love the coverage and finish, and luckily I also found a really good shade match on the first try.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Tone Up (shade: Rose): The original Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder is probably my favourite loose powder, so I was very excited to try the new Tone Up version in the shade Rose, which as the name suggests has a pink undertone. Light pink powders have been really popular lately, and I see why, because they look so pretty under the eyes.
Oden’s Eye Solmåne II gel liners: I’m very impressed by the entire Oden’s Eye Solmåne II collection, but the products I think I’ve used the most are the gel liners. I got all 15 shades, and I’ve used most of them. The colours are beautiful, they’re very pigmented, and they last a long time on the waterline.
The Sims 4 High School Years (expansion pack): Being on maternity leave you have a lot of time on your hands, and I’ve spent a lot of that time playing The Sims 4. Last month, EA finally released a new expansion pack, and I think many players were excited about it being centered around teens and the high school experience. I still have a lot more game play to discover, but I absolutely love the Create-A-Sim and build/buy items in this pack.
It’s time for my collective haul from August. It’s mainly beauty products this time around, but I also wanted to include some jewellery that I got for my birthday.
I got this jewellery set from my parents for my birthday in August. It consists of a necklace, a charm bracelet and earrings, and it’s from the Danish jewellery brand Maanesten. You might have noticed me wearing these pieces in a couple of make-up posts. I love how dainty and pretty they are.
Before we get into make-up, let’s talk about tools. I love Real Techniques tools and decided to get the Prism Glo Shimmer eye kit, which I found on sale. It comes with seven brushes and a cleanse tin. I also got a new brush for my brows, because the one I had was super old and broken. I got the Kiko Milano Eyes 64 brow comb brush, and so far I have no complaints about it.
Then I also picked up some stuff from Lyko. From Essence I got the Make Beauty Fun highlighter in 01 Happiness Shines From Within and the Cute As Shell face glow booster in 01 You Shell Sea My Glow!. From Catrice I picked up a back-up of the All Matt Shine Control powder Healthy Look in 100 Fresh Neutral Beige, which I love, and I also got the All Matt Plus Shine Control powder in 002 Banana Bright. However, the most exciting item I purchased is probably the LH Cosmetics Shimmer Saga palette. It’s the first product I’ve ever purchased from LH Cosmetics, and I think I chose the perfect one to try out.
Here’s a closer look at the Essence highlighter and the Catrice powders.
It was really difficult to get a good picture of the LH Cosmetics Shimmer Saga palette, but it consists of four stunning shimmery duochrome/multichrome shades. It’s the perfect little companion palette.
On my quest to find fun cream, liquid etc. eyeshadows, I was very excited to try out the new NYX Ultimate Glow Shots liquid eyeshadows. I picked up the following three shades; 04 Grapefruit Glow, 07 Lemon Slayed, and 13 Plum Player. I’m wearing 07 Lemon Slayed and 13 Plum Player in these pictures, and I think they look very pretty, and they were also easy to work with. I might have already picked up a few more shades:)
I have some of the older, classic Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palettes, but I didn’t buy them, when they were the most popular, and I’ve never really gotten into them to be honest. However, I was intrigued by the new(er) Nouveau palette, and I’ve got to say that I’m really happy with this palette so far. I really like this new packaging, and the colour story is more interesting than a lot of the colour stories in the older palettes. I really like the formula of the shadows as well, so I’m excited to play with this palette some more.
The last item in this haul is the Made By Mitchell Where The Mangoes palette. There was something about this colour story that just drew me in. It also reminds me to pull out my other Made By Mitchell palettes, which are actually really good.
I’ve been intrigued by the Swedish make-up brand Oden’s Eye for quite a while, and when I saw that the entire Solmåne II collection was discounted, I decided to make my first order from the brand. Besides the Solmåne II collection, I also got another eyeshadow palette.
The Solmåne II collection includes the eyeshadow palette, 15 gel liners, 6 Sunlight Love blushers, 6 Moonlight Feel highlighters, and a makeup mirror. I’ve already featured the palette in a 5 favourites, and I think it’s stunning. The shades are so pretty, and the quality is great.
I love colourful eyeliners, and these gel liners come in so many stunning colours. They’re really pigmented too, and they last a long time on the waterline.
How absolutely stunning are these blushers! The packaging is beautiful, but so are the shades and embossing on the actual product as well. The three matte shades are called B101 Sunset Clouds, B102 Warm Sun, and B103 Orange Sunny. The three pearlescent shades are called W101 Roseate Love, W102 Peach Gleam, and W103 Sienna Lustre.
The 6 highlighters are just as beautiful as the blushers. It’s more difficult to show them off properly in pictures though, but they’re all duochromes and the shades are quite colourful and interesting. These highlighters are definitely unique to my collection. They’re in the shades H101 Moon talk, H102 Pink Star, H103 Warm Sunshine, H104 Lavender Dream, H105 Azura Shine, and H106 Rose Sky.
The Solmåne makeup mirror comes in two colours; light orange or light purple. I obviously chose the light purple.
Besides the Solmåne collection, I also picked up the Oden’s Eye X Angelica Nyqvist Hela eyeshadow palette. I love Angelica’s Youtube videos, and I think her palette with Oden’s Eye is beautiful. It has such a fun colour story; I really like the greens and pinks together. The quality of the eyeshadows are great too.
