Essence Mickey and Friends & Catrice Winnie The Pooh collections

I have a huge Essence and Catrice haul to share with you today. It’s their latest Disney collabs; Essence Disney Mickey and Friends and Catrice Disney Winnie The Pooh. Let’s begin with the Essence Disney Mickey and Friends collection.

I picked up two of the eyeshadow palettes. I got 01 Dreams Are Forever, which has a green colour story and 03 Laughter Is Timeless, which has a blue colour story. I really liked the quality of green one, but the blue one was lacking in the pigmentation department. Both are very cute to look at though.

I purchased both of the Bouncy blushes. They’re in the shades 01 Never Grow Up and 02 Another Perfect Day. I think these are supposed to mimic the MAC Glow Play blushes, which has a blush formula that I love, so I think it’s nice to have an affordable version.

For lips I picked up the Balmy Gloss in 02 Back To Nature and the two Fruity lip balms in 01 Oh Cranberry! and 02 Red Berries Vibes!. The packaging on these is very cute.

The Essence collection also included two fixing sprays; the Happy Mood & Fixing Spray in 010 Nature Makes Me Happy and the Relaxing Mood & Fixing Spray in 020 Nature, The Antidote To Stress.

I love Essence nail polishes, and these are metallic shades called 01 Adventure Awaits and 02 Aw, Phooey!.

Lastly from the Essence Mickey and Friends collection, we have some tools. The collection included a cream blush brush and an eyeshadow brush and also creaseless hair clips.

Now let’s move on to the Catrice Disney Winnie The Pooh collection. I only picked up one of the eyeshadow palettes. This one is called 020 Friends Lift Each Other Up and has a lilac/purple colour story.

The Catrice collection included two Soft Glow bronzers in the shades 010 I Think It’s Called Love and 020 Promise You Won’t Forget Me Ever. These are so adorable!

The lip products in the Winnie The Pooh collection was a lip oil in 010 Silly Old Bear and some lip balms. I picked up the lip balm in the shade 010 Poohisms.

For lips I also got the Trio Lip Care Set 3pcs, which includes a lip mask, a lip scrub, and a lip exfoliator tool (I’m not sure if that is the proper name for it). This set is just the cutest!

I also purchased one of the nail polishes from the Catrice collection. It’s the Dream In Soft Glaze nail polish in 020 Let Your Sillyness Shine. I also got the nail and cuticle oil.

This collection also had an Illuminating Primer in 010 Poohtiful and a lash curler.

The very last thing in this haul is the soothing hand cream in 020 Just Doing Nothing with the cute Eeyore on the front.

Collective haul (October 2023)

I have a large collective haul to share with you today. It consists of shoes, clothes, accessories, and make-up.

I featured these Crocs Classic Crush boots in my December favourites post, and I’ve continued to wear them a lot. I bought them on sale on the H&M app.

I love a boot with a chunky heel and a platform, and these pink suede ones from Asos Design are really nice.

This red checkered suit from Asos Design came in very handy during the holiday season. I wore it here and here.

This red bow hair clip from H&M was a stable Christmas accessory for me, and I still love it and will continue to wear it.

This silver ring is called the Drippy V-Ring from Danish jewellery designer Jane Kønig. I wear it pretty much every day.

In my last haul, I featured the other shade of the Catrice METAFACE nail lacquers, but I wanted this lighter shade as well called C02 Cyber Beauty.

I was curious to try the new Clarins Joli Rouge lipsticks, so I picked up the satin lipstick in 742 Joli Rouge and the velvet matte lipstick in 754V Deep Red. Both are very pretty red shades, and the packaging is stunning.

I also got some stuff from Fenty Beauty. I purchased another shade of the Cheeks Out Freestyle cream blushes (shade: Pinky Promise 13), the limited edition Gloss Bomb Crystal Holographic lip luminizer in Holla’Gram, and the Eaze Drop Blur + Smooth skin tint stick in shade 02.

I picked up one more product from Fenty Beauty from another website, and it’s the Fenty Icon Semi Matte refillable lipstick set which was a limited edition holiday release. The lipstick shade is called Sorta Single. I also purchased two products from Rare Beauty; another Kind Words matte lip liner (shade: Strong) and another Soft Pinch tinted lip oil (shade: Affection).

From MAC I got one of the new at the time Locked Kiss 24hr lipsticks, and I picked a beautiful warm tomato red called Gutsy. I received the Made To Wow Brow Kit Auburn as a free gift with purchase. The kit includes a Brow Set Clear and a Brows Styler in Penny, which is not my shade.

You know I love Natasha Denona eyeshadows, and I was very excited to see a blue palette from the brand. This is the Mini Triochrome, and I think it’s very pretty. I’m wearing it here.

I’ve got two more palettes to share with you, and I’m really excited about both. First, I had to have the Blend Bunny Cosmetics Sickly Sweet palette, and I have to say that it’s pretty much the perfect pastel palette. I used it to create this eye look.

The other indie palette that I also had to have was the Cosmic Brushes/Beauty Gothic palette. I wore this on New Year’s Eve, and it was beautiful.

The very last thing in this haul is the Sigma Dry’n Shape Tower Face & Eyes, which is described as a stackable brush care station, so a tower to hold your brushes after you’ve cleaned them. I’ve used it once, and it worked pretty well.

Lyko haul (October 2023)

I have a collective Lyko haul to share with you today. I purchased these products back in October.

The Clinique Cheek Pop blushes are some of my favourites, so I’ve had the Black Honey Pop shade on my wishlist ever since I first saw it. It’s so pretty.

I love the Anastasia Beverly Hills lip liners, and I got a great deal on this deluxe mini lip liner set. It includes the shades Cherry, Raisin, Mocha, Deep Taupe, Dusty Rose, Muted Mauve, Toffee Rose, and Baby Roses. It also includes a sharpener.

Next up is Essence. I picked up two of the Blend & Line eyeshadow sticks. They’re in the shades 02 Oh My Ruby and 03 Feeling Leafy.

I’m a little obsessed with the Essence Holo Bomb effect nail lacquers, so I had to have all five shades; 01 Ridin’ Holo, 02 Holo Moly, 03 hoLOL, 04 Holo It´s Me, and 05 Holo Me Tight. I’m wearing the green one right now.

I got two more nail polishes; the Essence gel nail colour in 59 Brick Or Treat and the Catrice METAFACE nail lacquer in C01 Pretty Avatar. And let’s continue with some Catrice products.

From the Catrice METAFACE collection I also picked up the highlighter face glaze pot in C01 Virtual, which is super pretty. I also wanted to try out the Magic Shaper contour & glow stick and got the shade 010 Light.

The last products I got from Catrice were the Wild Escape high shine lipstick pens in C01 Into The Wild and C03 Unknown Desert, and they’re very nice.

Here’s a little random mix of products before I get to the NYX stuff. I picked up the Wet n Wild MegaLast Incognito AllDay full coverage concealer in Light Beige, but the shade is all wrong, so I’ve already decluttered it. The lipsticks are from MUA Makeup Academy and they’re the Neon creamy matte lipsticks in Dare and Ultraviolet. When I lived in England 10 years ago, I purchased and wore a lot of products from MUA, so I thought it would be fun to try out some newer products from the brand.

And lastly, I bought some things from NYX. I got another shade of the Ultimate Glow Shots, and it’s called 22 Watermelon Wealth. It was quite patchy though, which I don’t find the other shades I’ve tried to be, so I did declutter this shade from my collection. Then I got the Ultimate Shadow Palette in Vintage Jean Baby, which I thought had a cute colour story and theme. I also picked up two of the NYX Jumbo multi-use face sticks. They’re in the shades 02 Vanilla Ice Cream and 04 Blueberry Muffin, and they’re pretty fun.

Beauty Bay haul (September/October 2023)

I have a collective Beauty Bay haul to share with you today. I purchased these products back in September and October.

I know that Jeffree Star is controversial, but I don’t pay much attention to the people behind the brands. I mainly care about the quality of the products, and I like a lot of products from Jeffree Star Cosmetics. This is the Gothic Beach palette, which has quite an unusual colour story, however, I wore it here, and I really liked the look I created with the palette.

I don’t buy all the Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes, but I’d been wanting to try the Cosmos palette to see if the shifty shimmers were any good, so when I found it on sale, I picked it up. I mean, it’s not indie shimmers, but they were pretty, especially the light blue shimmer called Supercluster.

The last palette in this haul is the By BEAUTY BAY Metamorphic 16 colour palette. The colour story is right up my street, and I love that it’s shimmer heavy. I usually like the By BEAUTY BAY formula, and these shadows were very pretty on the eyes.

How cute is this Trixie Cosmetics Flower Power bronzer! I got the lightest shade called Darling Daisy, and it contains a contour, a bronzer, and a highlighter shade.

I purchased two products from Made By Mitchell; the Curve Case in Light and the Blursh Glaze in Sprinkles. Both products were on sale, and I really like both. I especially like the Curve Case.

I also picked up two products from about-face; another Cheek Freak blush balm (shade: Champagne Room) and another Cherry Pick lip color (shade: The Cranberries). I really like both of these formulas.

Lastly, I got the Laneige Midnight Minis travel-size lip mask set. I’ve been wanting to try out the Laneige lip masks for a while, so I thought this set of minis would be a great way to sample some different scents/flavours. The set includes Vanilla, Mango, Berry, Sweet Candy, and Gummi Bear.

Zalando sale haul (September 2023)

I have a Zalando sale haul to share with you today. It includes a mix of everything.

I already own this type of dress from Monki in another pattern, but it’s just such a comfortable dress to wear in the summer.

These pastel Jeffrey Campbell loafers were a bit of a splurge, but I’d been eyeing them for so long, and I got a Zalando gift card for my birthday last year, so I decided to finally get them. I’m wearing them here and here.

You know I love Crocs, and I love to accessorise them with fun Jibbitz, so I picked up these three 5-packs in the sale.

The only thing I picked up from the Revolution x Grease collection was the It’s The Word shadow palette. I really like the colour story, and it actually performed quite well. I’m wearing it here.

BH Cosmetics is sadly not the great brand that it used to be, but I still decided to try out a couple of their newer products; the Summer Heat cream bronzer in Light and the Juicy Gossip lip oil in Mango. Both products are nice, but not my absolute favourites.

Collective haul (September 2023)

I have a collective haul to share with you today. It mostly consists of make-up, but there’s also one clothing item and one piece of jewellery in the mix.

I love a good roll neck top and this one from Monki is just so cute and a perfect layering piece.

This “bolo tie” necklace is from Reclaimed Vintage. I got it 20% off from Asos, and I thought it was cute.

Let’s move on to make-up, and let’s begin with this little mix of products. I picked up a lighter shade in the Nars Light Reflecting foundation. It’s in the shade Oslo, and it might actually be a little light on me, so when I wear this foundation I mix it with the other shade I own, Mont Blanc. The other foundation I purchased is the KVD Beauty Good Apple Skin-Perfecting foundation balm in Light 006. I’ve been wanting to try this foundation ever since it launched, and this shade Light 006 is a great match. I really enjoy this foundation. I think I might have had the Catrice True Skin High Cover concealer in my collection before, but decided to try it out again. I got the shade 002 Neutral Ivory, and I think I like it. I mainly picked up the Lottie London Bubble Tea primer for the gimic. And I know I like the Huda Beauty Cheeky Tint blush sticks, so I got another shade. It’s called Rebel Red, and it looks very pretty.

I don’t wear a lot of neutral eyeshadows, but I love the Natasha Denona eyeshadow formulas, so I caved and bought the I Need A Nude palette. For a neutral palette this is very pretty. I’m wearing it here.

Last, but most certainly not least, I obviously had to have the Oden’s Eye x Angelica Helaween collab palettes. I love Oden’s Eye eyeshadows and Angelica Nyqvist is one of my favourite content creators, and she’s all about colourful eyeshadow, so these palettes are right up my street. The first palette is called Little Ghost and the second one is called Trick Or Treat. I’m wearing Little Ghost on it’s own here and both palettes in combination with each other here.

Sephora haul (August/September 2023)

I have a collective Sephora haul to share with you today. I picked up these products in August and September.

I bought two concealers; a back-up of my favourite, the Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer in the shade 1.3G Marshmellow, and the Natasha Denona Hy-Glam concealer in the shade N2. I already have the Hy-Glam concealer in another shade, but it’s too light, but sadly this shade is too dark, so at the moment I mix the two.

From Natasha Denona I also picked up two of the Macro Tech eye crayons. These are in the shades Fushi and Camu Camu, and they’re super pretty colours.

I finally got to try out Makeup By Mario, when the brand launched at Sephora. I was most interested on trying out the SoftSculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer and the MoistureGlow plumping lip serums.

I bought the SoftSculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer in Light, and I love it. This is such a beautiful cream bronzer.

I decided to get two shades of the MoistureGlow plumping lip serums; Rose Glow and Plum Glow. These are very pretty on the lips.

Collective haul (August 2023)

I have my collective haul from August to share with you today. This haul mainly consists of make-up products.

Let’s begin with the two items that are not make-up. First off, I picked up these dark green cargo trousers from H&M in a sale. I’ve worn them a lot; especially throughout December.

I got this beautiful Guess watch for my 30th birthday in August. I’ve worn it most days since.

Here’s a little mix of products I picked up from the Danish drugstore, Matas. I got a 20% discount as a birthday present, so I decided to buy the bareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzer in Kiss of Mauve, the bareMinerals Gen Nude highlighting blush in Rose Glow, and the Fenty Beauty Match Stix contour skinstick in Soft Amber. These are all very nice products.

I purchased the Clinique Even Better All Over concealer + eraser in WN 01 Flax and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze applicator in a sale.

The last products in this haul are indie products purchased from Monolith. I’ve been wanting to try the Ace Beauté Paletteopoly palette and game ever since it launched, so I was so excited to get my hands on it. I actually played the game and did my make-up based on it just last week. It’s a really fun concept. The palette is stunning whether you play the game or not though.

I also picked up the Unearthly Cosmetics Summer 23 larger mystery box. It includes an eyeshadow palette, a highlighter duo, a satin liquid lipstick, and two lipglosses. The packaging is so cute.

This is the Get Groovy palette, and what a fun colour story. I love a colourful eyeshadow palette, and the Unearthly Cosmetics eyeshadow formulas are great. I’m wearing the eyeshadow palette, the highlighter duo, and one of the lipglosses here.

The Get Groovy highlighter duo is more of a highlighter/blush duo on my fair skin. These shades are super sparkly and fun.

The liquid lipstick is called Gnarly, and it’s a beautiful burnt orange shade. I’m wearing it here. The orange lipgloss is called Psych and the purple lipgloss is called Spaz. Both shades are super pretty and shimmery.

Monolith palette haul (July 2023)

I have an indie palette haul to share with you today. I purchased all of these palette of the Monolith website. As far as I remember I made two separate orders and decided to put them into one haul.

I purchased three Blend Bunny Cosmetics palettes. This is the Surge palette, and I really like the colour story and tones in this palette. The buttom row of neons is so fun. I’m wearing the palette on my eyes here.

The Lure palette was the palette I was the most excited to try from Blend Bunny Cosmetics. This mermaid colour story is just so stunning. I wore a purple look with the palette here.

And the last Blend Bunny Cosmetics palette I picked up was the Sugar & Grunge palette. Another beautiful colour story.

I got two palettes from Unearthly Cosmetics, and they were also my first palettes from this brand (I’ve purchased more since). This is the Dead of Night palette and I got it on sale. I love this colour story as well. I’m wearing it on my eyes here.

I love the Strawberry Milkshake palette from Unearthly Cosmetics, and I also got this one on sale. Red, pink, and green is such a beautiful colour combo. I wore this palette on my birthday last year.

I just couldn’t skip on this colour story either. This is the Give Me Glow Cosmetics Bad Witch Club palette. I also got this palette on sale, and I’m not sure if it is available anymore. I just posted a make-up look with this palette yesterday.

The last palette, I got, is the Sugar Drizzle The Mattes Rainbow Purple palette, and this one was also on sale. I think Sugar Drizzle is mainly known for their all shimmer palettes, but since purple is my favourite colour, I thought this palette would be a great companion palette for all the beautiful shimmer shades I have in my collection.

Colourpop haul – 30% off sitewide (July 2023)

I have a Colourpop haul to share with you today. I made this order back in July when Colourpop had a 30% off sitewide sale.

I picked up two eyeshadow palettes. The first one is the Enchanted palette, which is a super pretty purple palette. I’m wearing the palette on my eyes here.

I love red and pink eyeshadow together, so the colour story in the Flirty Talk palette is so beautiful to me. The quality of this palette is great too. I’m wearing it on my eyes here.

The collection that came with the Flirty Talk palette also included the cute heart-shaped pressed powder blushes. These are the shades Hot 2 Touch and Cupid’s Bow, and they’re both super fun and pretty.

I really enjoy the Lite Stix highlighters from Colourpop, so when the launched (or re-launched) the Bronze Stix, Blush Stix, and the Lite Stix, I purchased the Sun Plz cheek set, which came with the Bronze Stix in Laguna Beach, the Blush Stix in Mini Me, and the Lite Stix in Glazey.

Lastly, I got two more shades of the Lippie pencils. I got an orange called Absolute Zero, and a fuchsia shade in I Heart This.
