Collective haul – mainly beauty (January 2024)

I have a collective haul from January to share with you today. Everything is beauty products apart from one pair of earrings.

This is the Danessa Myricks Beauty Lightwork V I Am palette. It’s the first of the Danessa Myricks Beauty Lightwork palettes that I’ve purchased, because they’re really expensive, but this one just looks so beautiful, and I got it on sale. I actually haven’t used it yet, but I’m planning on doing so on Saturday, when I’m attending a wedding.

Here’s the rest of the products I purchased at the same time as the Danessa Myricks Beauty palette. I picked up the e.l.f. Cosmetics Glow Reviver lip oil in Rose Envy, the e.l.f. Cosmetics Camo liquid blush in Comin’ In Hot Pink, and the Nimya by NikkieTutorials Cheeky Flush cream blush in Hey Carl!. Both blushes are super pigmented.

These are the first Buxom products I’ve ever bought. I found them on sale and thought I would give the brand a try.

This is the Xtrovert eye palette. I has a pretty unique colour story, and the quality was actually quite good.

This is the White Russian collection Wanderlust Glow highlighter. I’ve worn it once so far, and to be honest, I don’t remember how I felt about.

And lastly from Buxom, I got two of the Full Force Plumping lipsticks. They’re in the shades Badass and Dreamboat. I haven’t worn these yet, so I don’t know how plumping they are.

I picked up this Clarins Joli Rouge lip lacquer in 761 Spicy Chili at the same time as the Buxom products. The colour looks so pretty, and I like the packaging too.

I usually purchase a lot of the limited edition collections from Essence, but I’m trying to get better at not buying pretty much the whole collection, and instead only picking up the products I’m really interested in. So from the Love, Luck & Dragons collection I got the two lipsticks in 01 Energy Level: Dragon-like and 02 Dragons Dream in Red, and I also got the lip & cheek tint in 01 Wild, But Cute, But Wild. I only bought one product from the Chilly Vanilly collection and it’s the face & body highlighter stick in 01 Glow With The Flow!.

These are the last beauty products in the haul. I bought a back-up of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze and a Burt’s Bees mini Orange Blossom & Pistachio hand cream. I’ve been using the hand cream lately, and it feels nice on the hands, but I think the scent is maybe a little too strong.

I love Maanesten jewellery, and I picked up the Nubia color earrings on sale. They’re just the prettiest little hoops.

Collective indie make-up haul (January 2024)

I have a collective indie make-up haul to share with you today. I just love indie make-up, especially eyeshadow palettes.

Ensley Reign Cosmetics recently released an updated version of the Strawberry Moon palette, but I purchased mine back in January, so I’ve got the original version. I can’t believe I haven’t created a look with this palette yet, because the colour story is so bright and beautiful.

This is the Fantasy Cosmetica Rogue palette, which had been on my wishlist for a while. This colour story is right up my street, and I did create a look with this, which will be up on the blog soon.

I love the Blend Bunny Cosmetics eyeshadows, but I was unsure whether to buy the Machina palette or not. However, I’m so glad that I decided to buy it, because the colour story is actually really fun and quite unique. I wore the palette on my eyes here.

This is the first palette I’ve bought from Shroud Cosmetics. Sadly, the blue shimmer shade was broken, when I received the palette, but I managed to sort of press it back into the palette. I wore this palette earlier this week, and I thought the look turned out really pretty.

This is the Simply Posh Cosmetics Fairytale Fairies palette, which is the palette I used to create my eye look in yesterday’s make-up post. I really want to try out more palettes from this brand.

I wore the September Rose Cosmetics Still Pretty palette during my Valentine’s Day inspired week of looks for very obvious reasons. I wore it here.

These last three palettes are all from Jolie Beauty, and I purchased them 20% off from the Jolie Beauty website. I love the colour stories of all three palettes; I wearing the Sorceress palette in my eyes here.

From Jolie Beauty I also got the Holographic lip gloss in As Above and the Air Matte liquid lipstick in Unicorn.

MAC Lovestruck Luck collection (January 2024)

For years now, MAC has launched a Lunar New Year collection in January and this year was no different. The packaging on these collections are usually very pretty, and this year’s packaging is so stunning.

I’m obsessed with the packaging on the Eye Shadow X 6: Lovestruck Luck palette. The colour story of the palette is really pretty, and the quality was nice. I’m wearing the palette on my eyes here. Most of the other products in this haul are also featured in the make-up look.

This is the Studio Fix Pro Set + Blur Weightless loose powder in Translucent. This powder is a permanent product in the MAC line, but here it comes in limited edition packaging. I really like this powder.

I love when MAC includes limited edition blushes of any kind in their collections. This collection includes two powder blushes in the shades Full Of Wonder and Power To You!, and both shades are stunning.

I think this is a new product from MAC. It’s the Molten Metal highlighter in Many Moons Aglow. It’s a liquid highligher in a pretty golden champagne shade.

I always have to pick up a lipstick from MAC’s limited edition collections, and this collection featured the Lustreglass Sheer-Shine lipsticks. I chose the shade Sweeter Cinnamon.

First ever Glam Shop haul (January 2024)

Back in January I made two orders from Glam Shop, which is a Polish indie brand. I’ve heard great things about their eyeshadows, so I picked up seven eyeshadow palettes.

I picked up two 15-pan palettes; the Kwiat Paproci palette and the Słodko Kwaśna palette. The Kwiat Paproci palette is a neutral palette with a twist, and the Słodko Kwaśna palette has a very unique, colourful colour story. I haven’t worn the Kwiat Paproci palette yet, but I loved the look I created with the Słodko Kwaśna palette (which have not been posted on my blog yet).

I also purchased two of their 9-pan palettes; the Niezłe Ziółko palette and the Abstrakcja palette, which is a collab with MsDoncellita, whom I believe is a Polish influencer. I really like the purple colour story with a pop of mustardy yellow in MsDoncellita’s palette, and the green colour story of the Niezłe Ziółko palette is just stunning.

The last three palettes I bought were from the Wakacje ’70 collection, and they are called Muślinowa, Sorbety, and Nugatowa. I love the colour stories of all three palettes; don’t the shimmers look stunning!

Asos 20% off everything haul (December 2023)

I have an Asos haul to share with you today. I purchased these items back in December, and I got everything 20% off.

I’d had this denim trenchcoat from River Island in my saved items for quite a while, and I decided to finally get it now that everything was 20% off. I wore it out to dinner last weekend, and I thought it looked really good.

Sticking with denim, I also picked up these denim western boots from PULL&BEAR, and I really like them too.

I bought the pink version of these boots back in October last year, and I’ve been wanting to get the blue pair as well, so this was the time.

The last pair of shoes I picked up are these pink leather Chelsea style boots from Asos Design. I’m wearing them in my latest outfit post.

Lastly, I purchased these four beauty products; the Bobbi Brown Luxe Cheek & Highlight palette in Rose Glow, the Clinique Almost Lipstick in 44 Pink Honey, the e.l.f. Cosmetics Squeeze Me lip balm in Vanilla Frosting, and the e.l.f. Cosmetics Putty Color-Correcting Eye Brightener in Fair.

Here are some closer looks at the face palette and the lipstick.

Matas 25% off make-up haul (December 2023)

I have a make-up haul to share with you today. I purchased these items from the Danish “drugstore” Matas in a 25% off sale. Matas has a lot of high end brands as well as affordable/drugstore make-up.

I picked up another shade of the Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle cream blushes. It’s called Big Melons 12, and it’s a lovely bright, summery shade. I also got another shade of the Fenty Beauty Match Stix contour skinsticks. It’s in the shade Amber, and I prefer this shade over Soft Amber.

I also purchased another shade of the bareMinerals Gen Nude highlighting blushes. It’s in the shade Pink Glow. And then I wanted to try out the brand BeautyAct and picked up their Iconic face kit in Light/Medium, which includes a face powder, a highlighter, a blush, and a bronzer.

Lastly, I got some lip products. I bought another shade of the Rimmel Kind & Free tinted lip balms, which I really like. This one is in the shade 005 Turbo Red. I also picked up the Essence Juicy Bomb lip oil set, which includes the following five lip oils: 01 Coconut Crush, 02 Strawberry Star, 03 Mandarin Miracle, 04 Mint Magic, and 05 Cherry Cheer.

Collective Indie make-up haul (December 2023)

I have a collective Indie make-up haul to share with you today. I purchased these products throughout December 2023, and I got them from Monolith and Purish.

I’d been wanting the Blend Bunny Cosmetics Juicy Cheeks face palette for quite a while, and I’m so glad I bought it, because these blush shades are stunning! If you like colourful, pigmented blushes this is the palette for you.

I picked up two palettes from Bellabeautébar. The first one is the Pastel Garden palette, which I got on sale. I really enjoy the Bellabeautébar formula, and this palette has every pastel shade under the sun. I’m wearing it on my eyes here.

This is the Bellabeautébar Bejeweled palette, and it is absolutely gorgeous! I created one of my favourite eye looks I’ve done this year so far with this palette. I think it would be fun to use this palette together with the Pastel Garden palette.

I’ve been loving Unearthly Cosmetics lately as well, and the Don’t Be Jelly palette has some beautiful shimmers. The colour story is quite unique, and I haven’t played with this palette yet, because I have to figure out what kind of look to create with it.

The Whats Up Beauty Dragon Eye palette has the most incredible packaging! The colour story is a bit more muted, but pretty nonetheless, and I loved the look I created with this palette.

It’s not very often that I wear the same palette twice within a week, but that’s what I did with the Wicked Widow Beauty Resurrection palette. It’s like a rainbow palette with a twist, and I love it! I wore it on my eyes here and here.

As I have mentioned a couple of times lately, I’ve been really into darker make-up, and the Lethal Cosmetics Midnight Serenade Magnetic pressed powder palette is next on the list for creating a dark, smokey look.

I’d been wanting to try the Glamlite Dirty Martini palette pretty much ever since it launched, because I love an olive/khaki/lime green colour story. This palette is super pretty, and I’m wearing it on my eyes here.

Another colour story I love is a pink and green one, and the Glamlite x Strawberry Shortcake “Berrylicious” palette is another palette that has been on my wishlist for a while. I also picked up the Glamlite x Strawberry Shortcake Berry Sweet lip kit, which comes with a lipgloss and a lipstick. I’m wearing the palette and the lipstick here.

Collective clothing + accessories haul (December 2023)

I have a collective clothing and accessories haul to share with you today. I either bought or received these items as presents back in December.

You have already seen me wear this denim maxi dress from Monki. I’ve had my eye on it for a while, and when Monki had a sale, I decided to finally get it.

I also got this dress in the Monki sale. I’ll be posting a look with this dress soon-ish.

I’ve already worn this jumper several times, and it’s just so comfy. I’m wearing it here.

I love a fitted roll neck top, and purple and red are two of my favourite colours, so I had to have this top from Monki. I wore it underneath the denim maxi dress.

The last item(s) I bought in the Monki sale was a 5 pack of Christmas socks for next Christmas season.

This denim skirt from H&M has quickly become a favourite. I’m wearing it here and here.

I featured this Stine Goya Lotta bag in my January 5 favourites post, and it’s the perfect everyday bag. It was a Christmas present from my parents.

This lilac Silfen Ulrikke bag was also a Christmas present, and I really like Silfen bags.

Lastly, I got some jewellery for Christmas. The hoops are from Pandora, and I’ve been wearing them with some Disney pendants. The Nightmare Before Christmas Pandora charm was a Christmas present from my boyfriend; we love The Nightmare Before Christmas and watch it every year on Halloween. Then I also got two Trollbeads glass beads and a ring from Maanesten called Brook. I’ve worn the ring every day since I got it.

Beauty Bay sale haul (November 2023)

I have a small-ish Beauty Bay sale haul to share with you today. I purchased these products back in November last year.

I’d been wanting to try out Nikkie Tutorials’ brand Nimya for a while, so I picked up the eyeshadow pro kit, which includes the Nimya The Palette, the Set It & Forget It setting spray, and the Blow Before You Go fan. I wore the palette here, and I loved how my eye look turned out. I haven’t tried the setting spray yet, but I love the fan and use it every time I do my make-up.

I’ve already featured the Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin serum skin tint (shade: 2) in a 5 favourites post, and I still love this product! I also love the Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder Flushed in the shade Prima Donna. It wore so well all day, and I would love to get my hands on more shades. I’m wearing the blush here.

Lastly, I picked up two of the Trixie Cosmetics Stay The Night liquid shimmer toppers. They’re in the shades Love Potion and Take A Hike. They look really pretty.

Colourpop Black Friday haul 2023

On Black Friday, Colourpop had a 30% off sitewide deal, so I picked up some things.

I purchased the Black Friday mystery box, which included these two eyeshadow palettes; the It’s A Mood palette and the Off Melrose palette. I already own the It’s A Mood palette, but the Off Melrose palette is a new addition to my collection.

For cheeks, the mystery box included the Such A Rush cheek palette, which is way to dark for me, and the Super Shock blush in Birthday Suit, which I already own.

The box also included the Feather Effect brow pen in Black Brown, the liquid liner in The Hills, and the Super Shock shadow in Ripple. I didn’t own any of these products already.

The last two products in my mystery box were the Fourth Ray Beauty Overnight Success youth boosting mask and the Lux liquid lipstick in Just Imagine. I haven’t tried these products yet, but I definitely will at some point.

Moving on to the rest of the products I purchased in the sale. I got two more of the monochromatic 9-pan palettes; It’s My Pleasure and Orange You Glad?. I used both palettes to create this look, and I love the outcome.

I really enjoy the BFF créme gel liners from Colourpop, so I picked up the Sailor Moon Tokyo Love créme gel liner set including the two shades Azabu-Juban and Crystal Tokyo.

Another pencil from Colourpop that I really enjoy is the Lippie pencil, so I picked up two shades; V Cute and Love Bug.

I love the Pretty Fresh hydrating setting mist, so I got a back-up. I also love the Super Shock blushes and got the shade Lil Vibe, which is a super vibrant purply shade.

Lastly, I purchased a couple of Disney products. I got the Snow White Magic Mirror hand mirror, and then I finally got my hands on the Winnie The Pooh Hunny Pot lip care kit (include a lip scrub and a lip mask), which is so similar to the Winnie The Pooh lip care set from Catrice.
